ALL IN
Time to break the walls down with the biggest independent show in forever.
They performed the national anthem to open the show.
Matt Cross vs. MJF
Cross sends him into the ropes but is shoulderblocked down. MJF went to do it again but tried to trick him with a dropkick but Cross did a backflip. MJF applauded him mockingly and offered his hand but Cross was too smart for that. Cross caught him with a kick and then a headscissors takedown, sending MJF to the floor.
Cross hits the Sasuke Special over the top to the floor. He ran up to the stage and posed. He controlled MJF, who used Todd Sinclair to block Cross, then grabbed him and sent him into the ringpost shoulder-first.
MJF worked over his arm, stomping it and focusing his attack on it. MJF used a big armbar. He nailed a powerbomb and scored a two count, MJF continued working him over and placed him on the top rope. MJF set up for a superplex but Cross fought back and hit a leaping rana off the top.
MJF was drilled with a series of clotheslines but was able to nail a shoulderbreaker to break his momentum. They battled back and forth with punches but MJF raked him. MJF nailed him in the eyes but was caught with a pump kick. Cross nailed a double stomp to the mid-section.
MJF locked on an armbar but Cross broke free and used a rollup for a two count. MJF snapped the arm on the ropes and nailed a pendulum style piledriver but Cross still kicked out. This is very good.
Cross finally wiped out MJF with a kick and nailed a shooting star press for the pin.
Your winner, Matt Cross!
This was a great mesh of styles as Cross has always been centered around big moves and fun offensive maneuvers. MJF is the future. He’s like the best parts of Eddie Gilbert and Chris Candido and plays his obnoxious character so great, you’d think it was really him. He is the personality when he hits the ring, which is so rare today.
Sean Mooney interviewed NWA Champion Nick Aldis. There was a screw-up as they pitched it to a Daniels interview. Aldis was put over by Mooney who was excited to interview the NWA title. Aldis cut a great old school promo as the traveling NWA Champion putting over that Cody was great but the Champion was better.
Christopher Daniels (with SCU) vs. Arrow star Stephen Amell (with Josh Segarra of Arrrow)
Jerry Lynn is the guest referee, billed as the "New Reffin' Show." I popped for that.
They showed singer John Mayer in the front row.
They battled with chops back and forth. Amell looked good early on, especially for his third match. Daniels was sent to the floor. Amell pulled a table out and smacked Daniels face-first into it. Amell went for a Uranage off the apron but Daniels battled him off and returned to the ring. Amell worked him over in the corner but had words with Lynn when he was admonished by the ref.
That allowed Daniels to nail him in the gut and hit him with a series of strikes in the corner. He then ran him into the corner and drove him down into Daniels’ knees for a two count. He nailed an Arabian press off the ropes for a two count.
Daniels tried to suplex Amell out of the ring through the table. Amell was able to escape and hiptoss him over the top into the ring. Amell nailed a clothesline, then went for CrossRhodes. Daniels escaped but was nailed with a Falcon Arrow for a two count.
Amell sent Daniels into the corner. Amell went to the top and nailed the Van Terminator. He missed an enziguri, allowing Daniels to nail the Best Moonsault Ever, which missed. Daniels set him up for a move off the top through the table, but Amell fought him off. Daniels was sent down to the apron hard and then rolled off and put himself on the table. Amell went for a flying elbow but Daniels moved and Amell shattered the table in a spectacular spot that made up for the odd sight of Daniels putting himself on the table.
They teased a countout but Lynn said no and tossed them back in the ring, demanding a real winner. Daniels had an issue with that and shoved Lynn. Lynn took off the ref shirt and tossed it at him. He shoved Daniels, who was rolled up for a two count.
Daniels nailed Angel’s Wings for a two count. He nailed the BME and scored the pin.
Your winner, Christopher Daniels!
Good match. Amell worked way harder than he ever should be working in the middle of a TV show season. Daniels was the right guy to put all this together. For a guy in his third bout, Amell was really raw but is a hell of an athlete.
They shook hands after the match.
Don Callis said he had to go talk to Kenny Omega.
Mandy Leone and Tenille Dashwood joined the announcers.
Madison Rayne vs. Britt Baker vs. Chelsea Green vs. Tessa Blanchard.
Britt Baker came out to Adam Cole’s old music as they are dating. They said it was a tribute to her.
Tessa’s father Tully Blanchard and her stepfather Magnum TA met her in the aisle and hugged her. NOW THAT IS AWESOME.
One fall to a finish with everyone in the ring at the same time.
Blanchard drilled Rayne with a big right when she went for the code of honor. Blanchard sent her hard into the guard rail as Baker and Chelsea. Baker nailed a nice series of armdrags. Lots of really good action early. Blanchard nailed Green with the Magnum off the ropes.
Rayne returned and used a pinfall combination for a two count. Blanchard was blasted into the corner and seemed to lose her footing as she stumbled out. Blanchard pressed and tossed Rayne over the top to the floor, crashing her down onto everyone else.
Green nailed a nice pump kick on Baker and hit a tope to the outside. This is really good. Blanchard drilled her off the apron and nailed a dive to the outside. Blanchard grabbed her knee after the move. Rayne nailed a flying bodypress off the top to the floor.
They battled back and forth. Blanchard nailed a nice delayed vertical suplex. Baker scored a two count on Green. Green took control. Rayne and Baker battled to the corner. Rayne nailed a bulldog off the ropes. They all went back and forth. Blanchard was caught with a crucifix bomb by Rayne for a two count.
Baker nailed Rayne with a big elbow strike and nailed a fisherman’s neckbreaker. Green nailed the Unprettier on Baker but she put her foot on the ropes. They continued battling until Blanchard nailed a hammerlock DDT for the pin on Green. It appeared that was supposed to be a near fall but the referee counted three as everyone went to break it up.
Your winner, Tessa Blanchard!
Everyone worked really hard and wrestled their heart out. It was obviously meant to be a big spotlight on Blanchard but everyone had a nice moment over the course of the bout. If anything, they probably did too much but it got a great response from the crowd and there's no way you could think it wasn't a bad match.
