We are back and Brie Bella makes her way to the ring with her husband Daniel Bryan.
Daniel says it is great to be in Toronto. He mentions that Miz and Maryse mocked his retirement last week. Miz said that he could really feel it last week, but he was acting. Miz acts like he didn't cheat to win at SummerSlam. Just like he acts that he has the hardest punch in WWE. Miz is a very poor actor. When he came out to punch Miz in the face, Miz couldn't act like a tough guy. He pulled Maryse in his way and acted like a coward. That was when Brie came to the ring.
Brie says she is not going to fight his battles, but a wife can only take so much. Miz and Maryse always run their mouths. Even though she was going to get her hands on Maryse, it felt good to punch Miz in the face.
Daniel says he is not acting when he says it was really hot. He says that his wife is a diaper changing, face punching, hot Mama.
Daniel and Brie are interrupted by Andrade Almas and Zelina Vega. They make their way to the ring.
Vega says it is an honor to be standing in front of two legends. Brie Bella and Andrade Almas. Vega introduces themselves to Daniel Bryan. She says she is the breathtaking, deal making, la muneta. The business manager to El Idolo. Since arriving on Smackdown, her client has put Sin Cara on the shelf, taken AJ Styles to his limit, and destroyed Rusev. Vega says that the Miz has already outsmarted you, but it is time for Andrade Almas to outwrestle you.
Almas says you have your battle but the reality star is the only star in this ring. It is him.
Daniel says he would love to make this match official, right now, but Daniel says he is no longer the Smackdown General Manager. If only there was someone in the back who could make this match . . .
No one comes out and Daniel says that was pretty embarrassing.
Paige makes her way onto the stage and she is out of breath. Paige says her office is on the other side of the building and she is in heels. Paige says she does not want to give the WWE Universe a match they don't want. She asks them if they want to see Daniel Bryan versus Andrade Almas. She calls for a referee.
Match Number Three: Daniel Bryan (with Brie Bella) versus Andrade Almas (with Zelina Vega)
They start off with a Greco Roman knuckle lock. Bryan with a wrist lock but Almas with a single leg take down. Bryan escapes. They lock up and Almas with a side head lock. Almas with a shoulder tackle. Almsa goes tranquilo in the ropes but Bryan with a drop kick to send Almas to the floor. Almas with a knee when Bryan returns to the ring. Almas with another knee while we watch Miz and Maryse standing near a monitor in the back.
Almas with a back breaker and forearm to the chest for a near fall. Almas with a Gory Special but Bryan is able to counter into a sunset flip for a near fall. Almas with a chop. Almas with another chop. Almas with another chop but Bryan gets his chance to chop Almas. Bryan with kicks to the chest in the corner. Bryan with a running drop kick into the corner but Almas with a running knee into the corner. Almas goes for another running knee but Bryan moves and Almas goes over the top rope to the floor.
Bryan with a running knee off the apron. Bryan goes up top and leaps over Almas when he moves. Almas with a spinning back elbow. We go back to Maryse and Miz in the back and they leave the room. Almas with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Almas with forearms to Bryan and then he mocks Daniel. Almas with a wrist lock into an arm bar. Almas with an Irish whip and Bryan flips out of the corner and hits a flying clothesline.
Bryan with kicks to the chest. Bryan misses the round kick and Almas is sent to the apron but he applies a triangle and then Almas gets a near fall. Almas goes up top but Bryan with a drop kick to stop Almas and Bryan sets for a butterfly superplex and hits it.
Miz' music plays and Miz makes his way to the stage. While Miz make his way to the ring, Almas hits Bryan from behind and Bryan with a suicide dive onto Miz with punches. Almas with a double jump twisting cross body. Almas with a tornado reverse DDT. Almas goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault but he lands on Bryan's knees. Bryan with the Yes Lock and Vega gets on the apron. Brie pulls Vega off and punches her. Meanwhile Bryan still has the Yes Lock applied and Maryse sends Brie into the ring post. Miz attacks Bryan and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Daniel Bryan (by disqualification)
After the match, Almas hits the hammerlock DDT.
Miz has Bryan in the Yes Lock while Maryse holds Brie to watch and then Vega with a running double knee strike to Brie. Maryse with a DDT to Brie. Miz gives Bryan a Skull Crushing Finale.
Renee Young asks Charlotte about how emotional last week was and how will it affect her tonight. Charlotte says Becky thinks she deserves the title, but you don't deserve what you don't win. Charlotte says she expected Becky to do the same thing. Everyone does not get a trophy. Charlotte says Becky blames her for not being able to win the big one. Charlotte says she will not roll over for anyone, even if it is . . . was her best friend. Becky wants to be center stage and have the spotlight. After she is done with Carmella tonight, that is what she will give Becky.
AJ Styles makes his way to the ring.
We go to commercial.
We are back and AJ is in the ring, but we see what happened last week on Smackdown.
AJ says it is official. Samoa Joe versus AJ Styles at Hell in a Cell for the WWE Championship. AJ says that Joe is good with these mind games. Joe has him where he wants him. Joe brought his wife and daughter into this. It shows that Joe is not man enough to take the title from him. Why not confront him face to face like a man. Joe is not a man. AJ says he is going to put an end to these mind games right now. AJ says he is the WWE Champion and he makes the rules around here. AJ says he does not have to wait until Hell in a Cell. AJ wants Joe to come out right now.
AJ says this is a demand by your WWE Champion because he is going to know Joe's teeth down his throat.
Joe is in the garage and he calls for AJ. Joe says he is not coming out tonight. AJ is proving his point. AJ is acting like super hero to the world, but who is watching your kids? Joe says he isn't done playing daddy yet.
Joe makes a call and it is to Wendy. Joe asks how the kids are doing. Joe says he knows why Wendy is angry but Joe says he will keep the promise that AJ never did. Joe wants to know if they are still on for the back to school barbecue next week. Joe says to save a plate because he might stop by next Tuesday.
AJ leaves the ring and goes to the back.
We are told that Jeff Hardy versus Randy Orton will happen in a Hell in a Cell Match.
We are back and AJ Styles is running in the back and he wants to know where Samoa Joe is.
Match Number Four: Carmella versus Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women's Championship
Charlotte struts and wooos before locking up. Carmella with a waist lock and Charlotte with a standing switch and take down. Carmella with elbows and a rollup for a near fall. Charlotte with a rollup for a near fall. Carmella send Charlotte to the mat and applies a side head lock. Carmella holds on to the side head lock and Charlotte tries for a head scissors. Charlotte with a rollup for a near fall. Charlotte with a fallaway slam.
Charlotte goes up top for a moonsault but she takes too long and Carmella pushes Charlotte off the turnbuckles. Charlotte hits the ringside barrier and the referee starts his count. Carmella sets for a suicide dive and she hits it. Carmella sends Charlotte back into the ring and gets a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Carmella with a reverse chin lock on Charlotte. Charlotte with a belly-to-back suplex to get out of the hold. Carmella with forearms but Charlotte with chops.Carmella with a snap mare and drop kick. Carmella is sent to the apron and Carmella with a forearm. Charlotte goes for a shoulder but misses and Carmella with a kick to the midsection. Carmella with a cross body from the top and Charlotte rolls through and gets a near fall. Carmella with a kick when Charlotte goes for a spear. Carmella with a flatliner for a near fall.
Carmella runs into a back elbow. Carmella goes for a handstandcanrana but Charlotte blocks it and she gets Carmella up for a power bomb but Carmella counters into a rana and gets a near fall. Carmella slaps Charlotte and screams in a very high pitched voice. Carmella goes for a sunset flip but Charlotte rolls through. Carmella with a super kick and Charlotte bounces off the ropes and Carmella with a second super kick. Carmella gets a series of near falls.
Charlotte blocks a super kick and hits a spear. Charlotte with Natural Selection and then she applies the figure four leg lock and bridges to get Carmella to tap.
Winner: Charlotte Flair (retains championship)
After the match, Becky Lynch attacks Charlotte. Becky with a flurry of punches. Becky with a kick and she demands a mic.
Becky stands over Charlotte with the title belt. She says when she gets her way at Hell in a Cell, she takes her title back. Becky calls Charlotte a bitch and drops the mic onto Charlotte.
