WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: ALMAS VERSUS STYLES, HARDY VERSUS NAKAMURA, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2018-07-17 21:59:00

We are back and Miz makes his way to the ring very solemnly.  A mannequin head with a Kane mask is rolled down the ramp to the ring.  Miz puts the head on the table in the ring.

Miz thanks everyone for being here tonight.  Miz says he is as sad as everyone.  Miz says we are not here to talk about the debut of Miz and Mrs., debuting next week.  Miz is not here to talk about being the MVP of the Celebrity Softball Game at the All Star Game.  Miz says it is not about him.  We are here to talk about one of the best tag teams but two of the worst friends.  In the words of Kane's favorite band, it is time to say Bye Bye Bye to Team Hell No.

You had a yes and a no and they were able to become tag team champions.  That didn't happen last night, but it did five years ago.  Miz reminds everyone how Kane tried to end Daniel Bryan's career.  Most would say that would be the end of the friendship, but Hell No.  Bryan made the mistake of joining forces with Kane again.  The embrace of the Grim Reaper is final and with Team Hell No six feet under, he would like everyone to stand up and have a moment of silence.

Miz tells the people to show some respect for the Moment of Silence.  Miz does not appreciate the response of the crowd.  Miz says Yes chants might have been appropriate.

Miz says I Told You So.  Miz says he told you how this would end.  He was in this ring and he said that Kane was a broken down demon and he was right.  Miz says he was right about your bogus hero.  Daniel was never a world beating wrestler.  He is a glory hound obsessed with setting impossible goals to tug at your heart strings.  Daniel threw one last hail mary pass to remain relevant.  That is the reason for the sappy Team Hell No reunion.  It was just to bring out his greatest hits.

As sad as this whole thing has been, there is no one sadder than Daniel Bryan.  Whether he can accept it or not, deep down inside, he knows that his return from injury is a bust.  Every week, Daniel is hurting his legacy and no one else has the courage to tell him.  Daniel will never main event Wrestlemania again and his career is dead.

Daniel Bryan's music plays and he comes to the ring from behind and attacks Miz and the pallbearers.  Bryan with a German suplex and Miz escapes the ring.
