The Kickoff Show begins with your host Renee Young and she is joined by Booker T, Sam Roberts, and David Otunga.
They run through the card for Extreme Rules.
Booker says he has been thinking about the WWE Championship match. Sam mentions that the Rusev Day chants have been in all of the arenas. Will tonight be the night? Renee mentions that there is really a Rusev Day in Tennessee.
Charly Caruso is in the back and she mentions that Hulk Hogan is back in the WWE Hall of Fame and he is backstage at the arena. Charly mentions that the Raw wrestlers will be watching Bobby Lashley versus Roman Reigns to see who will be the alpha male on Raw. The Smackdown wrestlers will be watching the reunion of Team Hell No. She mentions that James Ellsworth creeped her out when he entered the arena. Shinsuke Nakamura will be joining the Kickoff Show Panel.
Finn Balor has joined the panel and he is asked if Kevin Owens will survive tonight. Finn says Braun is one of the fiercest competitors so he is worried about Kevin. Otunga says that Kevin has to get away from Braun as soon as the cage door closed.
Renee asks Finn about his match against Baron Corbin. She asks Finn about Baron's singing and vest choices. He says we won't hear Baron on American Idol. Booker asks Finn about having to deal with the size difference. Finn says he has dealt with bigger opponents in the past. Finn says he will have to knock down the big tree. Finn says that you have to make enemies to get where you need. If making an enemy of Stephanie gets him a title match, so she is an enemy.
Renee mentions the Smackdown Women's Championsip Match and he says that Ellsworth can fit through the cage. Booker says that Carmella has found a way to hold on to the title. Otunga says Asuka will win since Carmella doesn't have Ellsworth with her.
Match Number One: Sin Cara versus Andrade Almas (with Zelina Vega)
Almas with a slap to Cara but Cara with an arm drag to counter a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Cara with a drop kick and then he sends Almas over the top rope to the floor. Cara goes for a suicide dive but Almas sees him coming and sends Cara into the ringside barrier. Almas sends Cara back into the ring and he kicks Cara. Almas with a kick and forearm followed by a drop kick. Almas with an Irish whip and Cara gets his feet up and Almas puts Cara in the ropes and hits a back breaker and elbow for a near fall. Cara with punches but Almas with a back elbow to send him to the floor.
Almas teases a dive to the floor and he hangs in the ropes with Vega laying down on the apron. Almas chops Cara against the ringside barrier. Almas sends Cara into the ring and he kicks Cara in the back. Almas with an arm bar. Cara with punches and an arm drag. Almas misses a splash into the corner when Cara moves. Cara with a forearm and Almas fires back. They exchange forearms until Cara connects with chops. Cara with a springboard corkscrew cross body followed by a quebrada. Cara gets a near fall after a destroyer to counter an Alabama slam.
Almas lands on his feet on a suplex attempt. Almas with a boot and Cara with an enzuigiri that has Almas hanging on the turnbuckles. Cara chops Almas and they are both on the turnbuckles. Almas puts Cara in the ropes but Cara escapes and he sends Almas onto the apron. Cara goes up top and he hits a rana to the floor. Cara sends Almas back into the ring and hits a frog splash but Vega gets on the apron to distract the referee. Almas with a drop kick that sends Cara into the turnbuckles. Almas with the running double knee strike followed by the hammer lock DDT for the three count.
Winner: Andrade Almas
Shinsuke Nakamura joins the panel to answer three questions. Nakamura does not answer Renee's question. She asks about Hardy coming from different angles and how it will affect him during the match. Nakamura does not answer the question. Renee asks the question again. He says he has a bad connection. Sam asks a question and Nakamura says that Sam is a clown like Jeff. Booker asks how will he deal with Jeff Hardy and Nakamura says one artist to another, he respects Jeff Hardy but he will take away his championship.
Renee says that the United States Championship match could steal the show. Booker says Shinsuke has a lot to prove.
Renee mentions Team Hell No and Sam says that everyone is excited for this team. Otunga picks Team Hell No to win. Sam says the Cinderella Story of Team Hell No could be over. Booker says there is a bulls eye on Daniel Bryan.
We see footage of Kurt Angle throwing out the first pitch at Saturday's Pirates game.
We have a video package for the Raw Women's Championship Match.
Renee brings up that Ronda will be in the building and she asks how will it affect the match. Sam says Ronda could get involved and she can pick her opponent if she is next. Booker says if Ronda is smart, she will scout the match. Booker says Alexa is willing to get down and dirty when the situation arises.
Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre interrupt and he points out that he is here. Dolph says he is the premier champion on Raw. Booker says Dolph is like a new man. Dolph says he is so good at this that it is funny. He has made a career out of taking small opportunities and making the most of it. Sam asks Dolph about the fan support for Seth. Dolph says he knows that they will turn on Seth. He says as fast as they get behind you, they will turn on you. Drew mentions that Kurt Angle tried to keep him from being at his friend's side but he won on Monday. Drew says he will be in the best seat in the house for the best match of the night. Dolph says Drew has his back tonight. Booker asks if he is about stealing the show and Dolph says he only cares about winning.
Booker picks Dolph while Otunga picks Rollins.
Match Number Two: Tables Match: Sanity versus The New Day
All six men brawl with Woods and Young, Wolfe and Kofi, and Dain and Big E. Dain is sent into the ring steps by Big E while Young is sent to the floor on an Irish whip. THe New Day get a table and set it up on the floor. Young and Wolfe stop them and Dain joins in the attack. Young and Wolfe work over Big E in the ring. Young punches Big E while Wolfe holds on. Young accidentally punches Wolfe and Wolfe saves Young from being sent into the table on the floor. Big E goes for the spear to the floor but Wolfe and Young with knees. Wolfe with a slam to Big E and Young with an elbow drop off the turnbuckles.
Young adjusts the table on the floor while Wolfe works over Big E with a knee. Young punches Big E while Wolfe holds Big E and Wolfe with a kick. Young chokes Big E while Wolfe punches Big E. Wolfe with more punches and Young with a forearm to Big E's back. Young and Wolfe try to send Big E through the table on the floor. Kofi and Woods send Young and Wolfe to the floor. Woods and Kofi with stereo planchas. Dain with a suicide dive onto Woods and Kofi.
Wolfe kicks Kofi and punches him in the ring. Dain and Young get tables from under the ring. Young kicks Big E while Wolfe goes to the turnbuckles with Kofi. Wolfe wants the tables stacked on the floor. Kofi with forearms to stop Wolfe. Young hits Kofi. Dain charges at Big E and Big E with the UranagE while Woods hits a lungblower. Woods and Big E have Young and Wolfe up and Kofi with a double stomp to both men. Young is placed on a table on the floor but Dain press slams Kofi. Dain with a clothesline to Big E and then he hits an Island Driver on Woods.
Dain charges into a boot from Kofi and then Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise. Dain rolls to the floor. Wolfe is sent to the apron and Wolfe gets Kofi on his shoudlers on the apron and then Kofi tries to German suplex Wolfe through the table. Wolfe bites Kofi and Young with an elbow drop to send Kofi through the table.
Winners: Sanity
Renee Young mentions that Ronda Rousey is in the building and we see her walking in the concourse.
Sam mentions that Bobby Lashley said on his show that he wanted to face two people . . . Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. Booker and Otunga talk about how Roman is the guy. Otunga says he respects Bobby trying to go through Roman to be the man.

Matt Hardy tells the B Team that the mendacious monkeys will go to the extreme on the battlefield. Bray says they are here and they are next.
