HOH TV TITLE TOURNAMENT: Alex Reynolds with MJF vs. Crazzy Steve.

Alex Reynolds ordered MJF to leave ringside.

They locked up and ended up in the ropes.  Steve broke clean and Alex looked wary. Reynolds seemed very puzzled by Steve.  He kicked Steve in the mid-section but was nailed with a dropkick and several uppercuts.  Steve bit him on the face and raked his back.

Steve nailed him with a clothesline, but Reynolds avoided a move and whipped him hard into the buckles for a two count.  Reynolds attacked with a series of knees to the back and covered Steve for another near-fall.

Reynolds slammed Steve across his knees with a backbreaker, garnering another two count, then choked him against the ring ropes.  Reynolds nailed a series of lefts and right in the corner.   He slammed Steve into the ringpost and kicked him hard in the face.  Steve was whipped into the ropes but turned the attempted follow-up into a head scissors takedown.   Reynolds cut him off and whipped Steve hard into the turnbuckles several times.

Steve came back with several rights and a jawjacker.  Steve nailed several clotheslines but missed a charge in the corner as Reynolds ducked out to the outside.  Steve hit a plancha to the floor and then nailed a second one.  Steve whipped Reynolds into the guard rail, then charged with a big uppercut.  The crowd was really into Steve, chanting his name.

Steve followed up with a running cannonball into the guard rail on the floor.  Steve nailed a high cross bodyblock for a two count.  Steve nailed an enziguiri and locked in a crossface, trying to force the submission.  Reynolds fought to the ropes and placed his foot across the bottom rope, forcing the break.

Reynolds cut off Steve and nailed an inverted Codebreaker for a two count.  Reynolds argued with the referee over the count, allowing Steve to recover.  Steve caught him with a small package for a two count.  Steve nailed his DDT, titled the King Kill 33, but MJF ran out and pulled Reynolds’ foot under the ring ropes.

MJF got up on the apron but was nailed.  Steve used a forward roll but Reynolds reversed it and grabbed the ropes to score the pin.

Your winner, advancing, Alex Reynolds!

The storyline was that Reynolds didn’t know MFJ was assisting him.

Big “Steve” chant after the match.

HOH TV TITLE TOURNAMENT: Bull James vs. Killer Kross

They announced that Dan Maff was injured with a broken orbital bone, which is legitimate as he was hurt at a WrestlePro event in Brooklyn, NY two weeks back.  They said he tried to get cleared by the Athletic Commission, but they refused.

Since Austin Aries has pulled out of the tournament, Kross is now facing James instead of getting a bye.  They will fill the other slot in the semi-finals with a second chance match.

They tried to muscle the other, but neither had any real success.  Kross grabbed James’ arm and controlled him.  Kross took James down to the mat and held him down, then walked over him.  Kross walked out of the ring, allowing the angry James to simmer in the ring.

James went to the floor but Kross returned to the ring.  James took a drink from a fan.  When he returned, Kross kicked the ropes, low blowing him.  James reversed a mount and nailed a series of rights.  Kross rolled to the outside.  James followed him to the floor, but the referee tried to tell him to return inside.  That allowed Kross to nail James on the floor, sending him into the ring post.

Kross worked him over but James fired back with forearms.  Kross nailed a headbutt, then nailed an uppercut.  James locked in a crossface but Kross made it the ropes.  He nailed a clothesline for a two count.

Kross ripped at James’ face.  He rebounded off the ropes but was nailed with a pair of clotheslines and a spinebuster for a two count.

Kross used a mandible claw to move James to the corner and slammed him into the turnbuckle. James kicked him down and nailed the Doink Drop but hurt his ankle.  Kross grabbed his ankle and James immediately tapped.

Your winner, advancing, Killer Kross!

James was pulling his boot off and the officials all came out with the idea that James had been injured.  James shoved them away and limped out, dejected.

They announced Luchasaurus suffered a torn bicep and would be out after surgery.

Matt Cross vs. Flip Gordon

This is a rematch from last night in Long Island, where they had the best match on the show.

They went back and forth.  Gordon nailed a dive to the outside.  Cross cut him off with a clothesline and worked him over in the corner.

Gordon came back with a series of chops in the corner.  He nailed a running dropkick into the corner.  He cinched in a headlock variation.

Cross nailed a handspring elbow but was caught going for a second.  He escaped and nailed a springboard double stomp for a two count.  They continued to go back and forth.  Gordon nailed a dropkick to Cross’ back and nailed a spinning Falcon Arrow for a two count.

Cross came back, bouncing off the ropes with a cutter for a close two count.     They battled to the top.  Cross shoved Gordon off the ropes.  He landed on his feet.  Cross shoved him off again.  Gordon came back with the Star-Spangled Stunner for the pin.

Your winner, Flip Gordon!

They shook hands after the match.
