We start off this week's show with a look back at Kurt Angle's internal struggle to deal with a secret, but tonight we will find out. Who does Kurt Angle love?
We are in Nashville, Tennessee and your announcers are Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Booker T.
Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring and we see what happened to him over the last few weeks.
Dean introduces the people of Nashville to a good friend of his Steely Dan (his chair). He says they have an issue with the Miz. He says it is a good day for a bad idea. Dean suggests that Miz comes out with his friends and they finish what they started last week.
Dean asks if Curtis and Bo aren't enough backup. He should bring out his stylist and the cast of his horrible Christmas movie. If you don't want to bring your ass out here, he will burst it so much that Miz will think he is back on the Real World.
Seth Rollins' music plays and he makes his way to the ring. He asks Dean why is he out here for a fight he cannot win. Seth says Dean told him not to fight his battles for him. Then Dean came out swinging a chair and it looked like Dean was fighting his battles. He tells Dean to take a deep breath and have a better plan.
Dean says he goes wherever the mood takes him. He was in the mood to whack Miz and his cronies with a chair and Seth happened to be in the area. Everything is not about you.
Seth says Miz got him involved when his glam squad attacked him. Seth asks Dean if he will be in his way or by his side when he takes his battle to the Miz.
Dean asks Seth if he called him 'brother'. Dean says he ain't Seth's brother. His brothers were in the Shield and he trusted his brother. His brothers had his back and his brothers stood for something. Dean says he does not know Seth. He knows a guy who looked like Seth and he was someone who stabbed people in the back.
Seth says that was over three years ago and he is sorry. Seth says he never said it before, but he was sorry. Seth says he lived with that every single day. He also remembers them tearing each other up inside Hell in a Cell. He remembers Dean cashing in Money in the Bank to beat him for the title. That was in the past. Seth wants to know what will get Dean to forget about the past.
Dean says he sees Seth's lips moving but he does not hear anything.
Seth says he will let his actions speak for him. Seth tells Dean to hit him in the back with the steel chair. Seth tells Dean to hit him as many times as it will take to get it out of his system.
Dean thinks about it and he throws the chair to the floor.
Miz' music plays and he is joined by Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas.
Miz says it was such a scene to see two brothers working through their past betrayal. Miz says Dean will never forgive Seth. Dean is the lunatic fringe, the same Lunatic Fringe that Miz has owned. You don't have the wrestling ability or the technical skill to beat him. You don't have the skill to do it all on your own.
Miz says that Dean was so predictable to come out and cause a spectacle to call him out. Miz says he has a welcoming party for Dean, but he has two for the price of one. You react to things and there is no strategy. Miz says he might not be an architect . . . Bo and Curtis get chairs from under the ring and Miz picks up the chair Dean threw to the floor. Dean takes care of Miz while Bo and Curtis work over Seth. Miz hits Dean in the back with a chair and then he sends Ambrose into the ring steps. Curtis hits Seth in the midsection with the chair and then Bo punches Seth.
Miz gives Rollins a Skull Crushing Finale onto the steel chair. Miz leaves the ring and hits Dean one more time with the chair.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Miz is walking in the back with Maryse, Curtis Axel, and Bo Dallas. He is stopped for an interview. He says they have to go.
Match Number One: Bayley versus Alexa Bliss in a Non Title Match
Alexa slaps Bayley but Bayley runs Alexa into the turnbuckles and Bayley with kicks in the corner. Alexa with kicks. Bayley with punches and Alexa goes to the apron.
Nia Jax' music plays and she walks to the ring not like most girls.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Alexa stretches Bayley. We see Alexa using the ropes to work on Bayley's arm. Bayley with forearms but Alexa with an arm wringer and a near fall. Alexa grabs the injured arm and stomps on Bayley's chest. Alexa stomps on the back of the head but Bayley sends Alexa to the mat. Bayley sends Alexa to the apron and Bayley with a stunner in the ropes. Bayley with forearms and Alexa pushes Bayley into the corner but Bayley with a hot shot into the corner. Bayley with an elbow and she tries to slam Alexa but she cannot get Alexa up.
Bayley with a back elbow off the turnbuckles followed by a Saito Suplex. Bayley goes to the turnbuckles and hits an elbow drop. Alexa rolls to the floor and Bayley follows. Bayley stops when Nia gets in the way. Alexa with a running punch as she emerges from Nia's shadow. They return to the ring and Sasha Banks attacks Nia and drop kicks Nia.
Bayley with an inside cradle for a near fall. Bayley with the belly-to-belly suplex for the three count.
Winner: Bayley
Corey Graves gets up from the announce table while Michael Cole talks about the ESPYs.
We see footage from the ESPYs and other awards ceremonies from last week.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a video package for Roman Reigns.
Kurt Angle is in his office and he is nervous. Kurt tells Corey he is having second thoughts about coming clean. He wonders if he should do it. Maybe this isn't something that should be televised.
Corey tells Kurt they are living in a golden age of Social Media and it is going to get out. Kurt needs to go out and tell the truth. Corey tells Kurt he has nothing to be ashamed of.
Kurt says this is something everyone should hear from him. Kurt says Corey's friendship means so much to both of them.
We see footage from last week when Tozawa pinned Neville. Then we see what happened on 205 Live when Neville attacked Tozawa.
Titus O'Neil is with Apollo Crews and Akira Tozawa. Titus says Apollo got clobbered by Braun Strowman, but that happens to a lot of people. Akira beat Neville last week on Raw but he got attacked by Neville the next night.
Ariya Daivari enters and he asks Tozawa where is the honor. Someone with honor does not use low blows or beg for rematches. Tonight, he will finish what he started last week before being interrupted by Neville.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Two: Jack Gallagher and Mustafa Ali versus Drew Gulak and Brian Kendrick
Kendrick and Gallagher start things off and Kendrick wants to know what will Gallagher do. Gulak is tagged in and they lock up. Gallagher with a single leg take down into a surfboard and he drives Gulak's knees into the mat. Gulak hits Gallagher from behind when Kendrick was distracted. Gulak knocks Ali off the apron. Gallagher with forearms and a European uppercut. Gulak with a take down and boot to the midsection. Gulak with a chop. Gallagher flips Gulak across the ring and Kendrick tags in when Gulak is sent to the floor. Gallagher with a head butt and Ali tags in.
Ali goes up top for the inward 450 and hits it for the three count.
Winners: Mustafa Ali and Jack Gallagher
Enzo Amore walks in the back as we go to commercial.
