ELIMINATION CHAMBER: WWE champion John Cena vs. AJ Styles vs. The Miz vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Baron Corbin
This would be Baron Corbin's first WWE PPV main event and the first Chamber match for AJ Styles, Corbin, Bray Wyatt and Dean Ambrose.
The first two men competing are WWE champ John Cena and AJ Styles. Fans were chanting for Styles before he even came out. They started off and went back and forth. Styles sent Cena into the corner and nailed the Torture Race before slamming Cena for a two count.
The next man out was Dean Ambros, who sent Cena over the ropes onto the floor outside (which is now padded) and sent Cena into the chainlink fence cage before stomping him. Styles tried to get involved but got the same treatment before being tossed into the ring. Ambrose grabbed Styles and tried to suplex him but they both landed outside on their feet. Styles was picked up and slammed. Ambrose went to the top of one of the pods and dove off onto Cena.
All three continued to battle until it was time for the next competitor to be freed. It was Bray Wyatt. He went right after Dean and backdropped him. Styles sent Bray to the outside and went for a springboard but was sent into the chain link fence. Styles caught Wyatt in the corner and leapt over the ropes with a guillotine legdrop. Cena grabbed Styles and went for the AA but Styles fought him off and climbed the chains. Cena followed and they battled near the roof of the Chamber. Cena and Styles nearly knocked each other off before Styles nailed him and Cena crashed to the padded floor below.
Styles went to the top of a pod but Ambrose had made his way there and they battled, sending each other into the plexiglass. Ambrose took down Styles and saw Wyatt below. He went to leap down but Wyatt nailed him as he came down. Wyatt worked over Ambrose with headbutts in the buckles. Dean dropped down and attempted a powerbomb but was nailed. Styles joined them in the corner and Wyatt tossed him with an overhead suplex as Dean caught Bray with a powerbomb.
With all four competitors down, the countdown began for the next competitor to be released and it was Baron Corbin. He hit the ring and attacked Dean, sending him into the cage and ripped his face against the chain. He tossed Dean into the corner but missed a clothesline in the corner. Wyatt attacked Corbin, who sent him flying into the pod.
Corbin nailed a big boot on Wyatt followed by an STO on the Chamber floor. Styles attacked Corbin and was nailed with End of Days. Cena pounced on Styles and went for the STF but it was countered. Corbin caught him with End of Days but Ambrose nailed him with a missile dropkick. Dean and Corbin brawled outside the ring inside the Chamber, throwing each other into the chains.
Back in the ring, Ambrose went for Dirty Deeds but was shoved off into the chains of the Chamber. The countdown began to release the final competitor, The Miz, with no one eliminated.
Corbin stared down Miz, who stayed in his pod. Ambrose rolled up Corbin and pinned him. Corbin eliminated. Corbin, furious, caught Dean with a lariat. He grabbed Ambrose and sent him hard into one of the pods, which exploded. Corbin continued mauling Ambrose and beat him again and again into the chains. Corbin nailed Ambrose with the End of Days before three referees finally got him to exit the Chamber.
Miz exited the Chamber and pinned Ambrose. Ambrose eliminated. Miz began doing a "Yes" chant to mock Daniel Bryan. He began nailing the Bryan trademark kicks to the chest of Cena and Bray. He nailed a dropkick to them both at the same time.
Miz worked over Styles with kicks in the corner, teased nailing Cena but instead dropkicked Wyatt in the corner. He attacked Cena, then Styles. Miz was in complete control of the Chamber. He nailed a leaping clothesline in the corner on Cena and began climbing a pod. Wyatt tried to stop him but was nailed with a Skull Crushing Finale on the Chamber floor.
Miz went for a flying bodypress but Cena caught him and turned it into an AA and pinned Miz. Miz eliminated.
Styles and Wyatt formed a makeshift team and worked over Cena. It didn't last long as Wyatt caught him with a right hand but missed with a running back senton. Cena unleashes a ton of offense on Styles and then slams Wyatt as well. He goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle on both and nailed it.
Cena nailed the AA on Wyatt. He went for one on Styles, who reversed it to a Styles Clash for a two count. Styles and Cena continued going back and forth with Styles kicking out of an AA at the last second.
Cena climbed atop of one of the pods and dove off with a flying bodypress on Styles and Wyatt at the same time. All three men were on the mat, spent and exhausted. Cena recovered first and went for the AA but turned it into Sister Abigail, pinnined Cena. Cena eliminated.
There will be a new WWE champion tonight.
