We begin with a look back at highlights from last week's Raw as well as Brock Lesnar's appearance on Smackdown.
We are in Anaheim, California and your announcers are Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Byron Saxton.
Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady make their way to the ring. They do their usual entrance intros at a faster speed than usual.
Enzo does a few laps around Colin inside the ring.
Enzo says he came out here last week, pretty much a G spinning out some game to the WWE Women's Champion. Colin says that Sasha was loving it. Enzo says that Sasha was smitten. Colin says she was like catnip to a kitten. Enzo says the chemistry in the ring was like a science fair. Colin says Enzo's bunsen burner was on fire. Colin says that Enzo was like Mike Trout and you put one deep.
Enzo says Jon Bon Jericho comes out here with his golden glove and robs him of a home run. Enzo says he had Sasha in his hands and Jericho hits him with a Codebreaker. You broke the man code by coming out with a scarf and no shirt. Enzo says the sight of Chris Jericho made him want to baby burp. You call yourself the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla, but they are on a come up. They are on a stairway to heaven while Enzo and Colin are on a highway to hell. Enzo welcomes Chris to the jungle and he says he is going down.
Chris Jericho comes out and he says that Enzo is spitting out song titles and it is giving him an achy breaky heart. Chris says Enzo is here only because he has his seven foot maid with him when he makes a mess. He says they look like a couple of goofballs. At least you have someone watching his back, but now, so does Chris.
Kevin Owens' music plays and he makes his way to the stage.
Chris says he talked to Jim Marvin Luder and all of the problems that he and Kevin had in the past are gone. Whatever Chris does, Kevin has his back. Chris asks Kevin and Kevin says he thought it was a rhetorical question.
Colin asks if they have each other's backs like Bert and Ernie and wonders if they are in the same bathtub.
Chris wants to know if people think that is funny.
Colin tells Chris to do something if he does not think it was funny.
Kevin says he used to like Cass because he was one of the few guys he liked in NXT. It was because both of them had a waste of space holding him down. Instead of getting rid of that dead weight, he kept it on his back and brought him to Raw. Now he has to see that and listen to that spit out verbal vomit. He does not like Cass any more. He says he does not care that Colin is seven feet tall because he is going to hurt him.
Kevin asys if it is not him who hurts him, Chris Jericho is going to hurt you.
Chris says if Kevin does not want to hurt Colin, he will.
Colin suggests that they go right now.
Chris tells everyone to calm down. He was not talking to Colin.
Colin says Chris was looking right at him.
Chris tells the Hip Hop Hobbit he was looking at him. He tells Enzo to be prepared because he is going to get . . . IT
Enzo says he does not know what it is, but when he finds out he will shove it down his throat.
We go to commercial.
Match Number One: Enzo Amore versus Chris Jericho
They lock up and Jericho with a side head lock and shoulder tackles. Enzo with a drop kick and arm drags into an arm bar. Enzo with a hammer lock and Jericho gets to the ropes. Jericho slaps Enzo in the face and chops him while Kevin inquires about how Enzo is doing. Jericho wtih an Irish whip and Enzo wtih a head scissors and another head scissors. Jericho with a clothesline. Jericho chokes Enzo in the ropes and Owens checks how far his fist can go and it reaches to Enzo's face. Jericho with a suplex and a Jericho cover for a near fall. Jericho with a boot to the face. Enzo blocks a punch and Enzo with jabs but he runs into a drop kick and Jericho gets a near fall.
Enzo with punches but Jericho with a kick and he tries to send Enzo over the top rope and Enzo skins the cat and then he comes back into the ring and Enzo with a back body drop and a baseball slide. Owens checks on Jericho as we go to commercial.
We are back and Jericho chops Enzo in the corner. Jericho with an Irish whip but Enzo with a boot and a leaping DDT off the turnbuckles and both men are down. Enzo with punches and a cross body. Enzo punches Jericho and hits a running forearm. Enzo with a kick and facebuster followed by a forearm for a near fall. Enzo runs into a boot and Enzo goes for a rana but Jericho counters into the Walls of Jericho. Enzo gets to the ropes and Jericho thinks he won the match, but the referee tells Jericho what happened. Enzo with an elbow and then he goes up top for a cross body for a near fall.
Enzo with a plancha and then Jericho grabs the referee and Owens grabs Enzo's leg. Jericho with a Codebreaker and Colin runs in and gives Jericho a boot to the head and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Chris Jericho (by disqualification)
Colin says if you want to stick your noses in their business, why not you two against them in their backyard at SummerSlam.
Jericho and Owens accept the challenge because they are WINNERS.
Colin says there will be only one word to describe them and he is going to spell it out for them.
Mick Foley is on the phone in his office and he says that he needs to nip this Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar thing in the bud and he has invited Daniel Bryan to meet with him tonight. Stephanie asks him about the tablet and he says it is good and Mick says it is so much better than the clipboard (even though Mick is using the clipboard and not the tablet)
Sasha enters the office and she says SummerSlam is in two weeks and she has to defend her title against Charlotte and she knows that Dana will be there. Why not make it a handicap match.
Mick says everyone wants to see the rematch. Mick will put Sasha in a match against Dana. If Sasha wins, Dana is banned from ringside at SummerSlam, but if Dana wins, it will be a handicap match.
Mick wishes Sasha luck and Sasha says she does not need luck.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Byron Saxton is with Jorel Nelson in the back and he asks Jorel why would he take this match. Jorel thinks about it and he really has nothing to say.
Match Number Two: Braun Strowman versus Jorel Nelson
Nelson tries to leave the ring but he stops on the apron and Strowman knocks him off the apron. Strowman sends him back into the ring and hits a clothesline. Strowman picks up Nelson and hits a reverse choke slam for the three count.
Winner: Braun Strowman
After the match, Strowman throws Nelson out of the ring.
Mick Foley is back to the tablet and Puff Daddy shows up. Mick asks Puff about how the dressing room is. Puff invites Mick and his family to Raw on the 25th.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods stop by and say hello while eating BOOTY-Os. Puff steals some BOOTY-Os. He talks about the music on the soundtrack for WWE 2K17.
Puff asks about Big E's nuts.
Xavier says he is doing bad. Kofi calls Anderson and Gallows the Vanilla Ice of wrestling. Xavier asks Puff to join him in a phone call to Big E.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Three: Titus O'Neil versus Darren Young (with Bob Backlund)
Darren slaps Titus and punches him. Titus with a knee to the head and Young goes to the apron and Titus kicks him to the floor. Titus grabs Darren and runs him into the apron back first. Titus sends Darren back into the ring and hits a short arm clothesline. Titus mocks Backlund and connects with forearms to the back. The referee warns Titus. Darren slaps Titus and connects with an elbow. Young with a rolling forearm and then he comes off the turnbuckles and Titus catches him. Darren escapes a slam attempt and gets the three count with a handful of tights.
Winner: Darren Young
We go to commercial.
