We see an opening video package with a series of promos from the participants in the main event, then we go to the arena where Kevin Kelly and Mr. Wrestling III run down tonight's card, then throw it to the ring for our opening match...

TV Title Match: Tomohiro Ishii vs Roderick Strong vs Bobby Fish

Ishii is one imposing looking dude.  Strong jumps Fish during introductions and dumps him to the floor so he can go after Ishii, but Fish comes back in and joins Ishii in a 2-on-1 beating on the former champion.  They do a cool spot where Ishii gets Strong down and hiptosses Fish on top of him, then Fish and Ishii trade shots in the middle of the ring until Fish knocks Ishii silly with a leaping kneestrike.  Back to Strong and Fish until Ishii knocks Fish to the floor, and is immediately flapjacked by Strong for 2.  Strong dishes out a series of chops and forearms to Ishii, but Ishii doesn't budge and actually tells Strong to come on instead.  Strong drills him with an enziguiri, Ishii comes through that with a charging forearm, but then Strong connects with a sweet dropkick that finally drops Ishii for 2.  Fish comes back in and nails Strong with a series of running knees and a flying forearm, then suplexes him into Ishii.  Fish covers Strong for 2, then goes to the top and is followed by Strong, who is suplexed by Ishii.  Ishii goes up to suplex Fish as well, and does an impressive delayed superplex for 2.  Ishii turns Fish inside out with a lariat and plants him with a powerbomb for 2.  Strong breaks up a brainbuster attempt and all three men start trading shots in the middle of the ring.  Fish leg whips Strong, Ishii flattens Fish with another lariat for 2, then he and Strong go at it again as Fish rolls to the apron.  Strong hits a high knee, gutbuster, and the Sick Kick for 2.  Close one.  Strong gets the Stronghold, Fish kicks Strong in the back to break that up, and he gets Strong in the Fishhook.  Strong kicks his way out of the hold, but Ishii is up and waiting for both men.  Strong takes Fish out with a leaping kneestrike, Ishii blocks a second kneestrike meant for him, knocks Strong silly with a headbutt, and hits a diving lariat for 2.  One brainbuster later, Strong is down for the 3 count, and we have a winner.

Winner: Tomohiro Ishii

Excellent opener, a ton of hard hitting action in this one and a great way to get the show off to a hot start.  Fish and Ishii have a little exchange before everyone heads to the back.

BJ Whitmer vs Adam Page

Whitmer jumps Page before the bell, but Page fires back and a brawl ensues that quickly spills out to the floor.  Page sits Whitmer in a chair and hits him with a running dropkick, but Whitmer trips Page off the apron and back suplexes him onto the guardrail.  They go back to trading shots, Whitmer gets the advantage and brings it back inside where he gets 2 off a snap suplex.  Page tries fighting back, but Whitmer shuts him down with more hard shots and smacks him around in the corner to humiliate him.  Whitmer with a back suplex for 2, and the fans chant "please retire" at Whitmer as he continues working his former protege around.  Page starts firing back and takes control with a series of clotheslines and elbows, and he hits a shotgun dropkick for 2.  Whitmer catches Page with a snap powerslam out of nowhere for 2, then turns Page inside out with a big boot.  Page comes back with a leaping enziguiri and the slingshot clothesline for 2.  Whitmer rolls out to the apron and nails Page from the outside, then takes Page out to the apron with him and tries the same piledriver that injured Whitmer's own neck a few years ago.  They trade shots, Whitmer spits in Page's face, and Page boots Whitmer off the apron and takes him out with a running shooting star press.  Page throws a chair in the ring, the ref gets it out of the ring, and Whitmer kicks Page in the ding ding and small packages him for the win.

Winner: BJ Whitmer

Solid match, Whitmer looks good after returning from the injury, and a solid showing by both men.  Whitmer tries a piledriver after the match, but Page fights him off and a bunch of security runs in to hold Page back and he fights them all off.

Hirooki Goto vs Dalton Castle

Dalton's got an entire parade of BOYS for his entrance.  Basic feeling out process to start, and Dalton plays mind games with Goto to try and throw him off his game.  It doesn't seem to work, as Goto plows right over Castle with a shoulderblock, and Castle backs off to the corner to break the momentum.  They go to the mat, but gets back to their feet and Goto rips Castle's head off with a clothesline.  Castle tries to go to the floor to catch a break, but Goto goes out after him and quickly throws him back in.  Goto is in control, and starts to take his time picking Castle apart.  Dalton mounts a comeback with several charging clotheslines in the corner, then bearhugs Goto and hits a sweet overhead release suplex.  Castle tries to charge Goto again, but Goto moves and hits a corner leg lariat and a backdrop suplex for 2.  They wind up on the floor where Castle hits a flying headscissors, then rolls Goto into the ring and hits a missile dropkick for 2.  Castle hits the delayed German suplex for 2, then they trade shots, Castle gets the advantage, Goto no-sells and hits a fireman's neckbreaker for 2.  Goto hits a stiff kick, loses him on a suplex attempt, but gets him up the second time and converts it into a uranage for the win.

Winner: Hirooki Goto

Some really good action in this one, Dalton got a good run at Goto and looked strong even in defeat.

The action continues on Page 2!
