They just announced that John Cena vs. Seth Rollins is up next.

Before the Tables match between John Cena and Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman came out to ringside. He is scouting Brock Lesnar’s opponent for the Royal Rumble. The second that Rollins’ music hit, the crowd popped. Vince, he is the heel, but they popped. They want new freakin’ blood. Once he got to the ring, he got a mixed reaction, or they were preparing for Cena because when his music hit, they definitely were mixed. If they go through with Brock vs. Cena at the Rumble, it’s a mistake. It really is.

The story early on was that whenever Cena took control, the Stooges would help Rollins. The most interesting thing thus far was that JBL mispronounced the word “bravado”.

There is no DQ so the Stooges keep interfering. Cena keeps fighting them off. He is tougher than three guys. Man, this is so weak. … Down on the floor, Cena got a metal guardrail and suplexed Jamie Knoble on it. Mercury went to work on Cena and he and Rollins beat him up for a minute. See it’s no DQ so they can do that. Well for the minute. Now Cena has taken out Mercury, so it’s Rollins going it alone, and he got the upper hand. Because see, it takes three guys to kill Superman, except Superman isn’t really dead. He rolled himself into the ring to wait for Rollins to set of tables on the floor. Rollins came up on the apron to suplex Cena through them and I am sure you will be shocked to hear that it didn’t happen. John blocked it. Maybe for the first time ever! John kept blocking everything until Seth just grabbed the briefcase and went to work on Cena with it. He dented it up. Cena is down. Rollins is working on setting up a table. He is ready to do something to Cena. His time is up Rollins says. He mocks him. Guess what happens? Cena popped up and blocked him. But h hit the ref. Rollins put Cena on the table but before he could get to the top, Cena put Rollins through the table from the second rope. There is no ref tho so the stooges came in and cleaned up the table. There is no win. By the way, I am not making any of this up. Cena had three guys beaten, easily. Wow. … The Stooges worked over Cena but he does a Double AA on them through a table. Great visual and feat of strength but JEEZ enough already. This set up a spot where both Cena and Rollins went through tables at the same time. What will the ref do. In case you missed it, this isn’t NXT anymore, unfortunately. They got up and three refuse are the ring. One raises Cena’s hand. The next raises Rollins’. The third overruled them and restarted the match.

So they restarted it. Rollins was in control for a second, but then Cena threw him onto a table and it didn’t break. You thought three was too man for Cena to fight? Add Big Show to the mix, as he came down. Before he could chokeslam Cena, Roman Reigns’ music hit and he came through the crowd. He attacked Big Show and got the heat on him that Big Red could only dream about. Reigns also hit the Superman punch on Rollins and Cena put him through a table to win the match.

Let me be clear that I have no problem with Cena. I appreciate his work ethic. Both he and Rollins worked really hard here. But as we have seen before with so many others, when he kills people in the ring, he kills them outside the ring, no matter how good they are. A lot of people are sick of that. Those people have money to spend. It’s insane to not try and get their money, HELLO VINCE? So now we have Rollins as a walking Puss In Boots, that couldn’t win with help from a ton of people, and Cena is set to face Brock Lesnar at The Royal Rumble in a match a lot of people don’t want to see. That will sell some Network subs.

Well, at least it should get better now as Nikki Bella is defending her WWE Title against AJ Lee. They did a promo before the match where Brie said no matter what happened before, blood is thicker than water. So Brie is apparently on of the stupidest people to ever work in wrestling. Dogs would stop running into parked cars before Brie would get mad at her sister for the heinous stuff she has done to her. Maybe her vegan diet has made her brain devoid of protein or something. Makes no sense to me.

Early on, AJ kicked Nikki in her, well, rack. It made me wonder what happens when breast implants explode. Come on, admit it, you wondered too. Luckily, if they are saline, no harm, no foul. Anyway, Nikki was in control early. AJ, if I were you, the word of the day would be “sabbatical” (Vince’s version, not the one the rest of us use). Nikki is in control and it’s painful. The fans that are engaged are saying that they want tables. Most don’t really seem to care. Even AJ’s comebacks aren’t getting much of a reaction. AJ got a two with a DDT. People didn’t really care. Nikki got a two. The same reaction. AJ got a few more near falls. One with a Shining Wizard but Brie grabbed Nikki’s leg and put it on the ropes. The ref tossed her. Nikki used it to spray disposable douche, or something, in AJ’s face and she won with the Can Slam, er Rack Attack. Charlotte and Sasha Banks have nothing to fear from this…..until they get to the main roster and are booked by WWE creative.

Roman Reigns then declared for the Royal Rumble, in a bit of an awkward promo. He was saying he will be in the Rumble and do more damage than he did last year. Maybe "Silent but Violent" is the best gimmick for him.
