ROH Tournament Final: Michael Elgin vs. Adam Cole
Nigel made a speech before the match pointing out they were down to the final two competitors.
Elgin's neck is hurt from the earlier match.

Elgin sent Cole into the ropes several times for shoulderblocks and finally drilled him hard enough to send him to the outside. A wary Cole returned to the ring. Elgin controlled the early portion of the match, outpowering Cole.
Elgin continued the control with an overhead powerslam an leg lariat for a two count. The crowd clapped to rally Cole. Elgin held up Cole for a delayed suplex but took too long and Cole slipped out and dropkicked him for a two count.
Cole worked over Elgin, focusing his attack on the neck in an attempt to wear down the bigger man. The crowd chanted for Cole while a smaller portion chanted for Elgin. He locked in a side chinlock but Elgin fought out of it and nailed a belly to back suplex for two count.
Elgin sent Cole into the ropes but was nailed with DDT for a two count. Cole cinches in a rear chinlock. Cole worked him over but was almost caught with a suplex. Cole escaped and kicked Elgin hard into the buckles.
Elgin powered back with some brutal clotheslines to the front and back of Cole's body. He went for a move but Cole slipped behind. Elgin avoided him and nailed a Black Hole Slam for a two count.
Elgin went for a belly to back suplex but Adam slipped out and nailed a Yakuza kick for a two count. Cole went for the figure four leglock but was kicked out of the ring to the floor. Elgin went to follow but was kicked in the face. Cole returned to the apron but Elgin stopped him and nailed a belly to back suplex into the ring for a two count.
Elgin went for a powerbomb but Cole escaped, only to be kicked down. Cole came back and nailed a DVDR across the knee for a two count. Cole went for the figure four but Elgin kicked him away. They battled back and forth with strikes and forearms.
Elgin drilled Cole again and again across the chest. Elgin nailed a back suplex and clotheslined Cole with a massive lariat for a two count. Elgin pulled Cole to the top for a delayed superplex. Cole fought him off and nailed a sunset flip powerbomb. Cole kicked him and scored a two count.
Elgin picked up Cole for a suplex and dropped him down with a scary looking DDT like move for another two count. Cole went for a springboard move but was dropkicked off the ropes to the apron. Elgin deadlifted him up into a superplex, turning and slamming him down for another two count. Elgin powerbombed Cole into the corner but he came back with a big kick. Elgin clotheslined him right out of the ring,
They battled back and forth on the apron. Cole teased a back suplex off the apron to the floor. They ended up with Cole being suplexed off and he turned as they went, both crashing through a table to the floor. They teased a countout but both returned to the ring before the 20 count. The crowd was clapping as both pulled themselves to their feet to battle.
Cole kicked Elgin and nailed a back suplex for a two count. Cole placed him on the top rope and went for a belly to back superplex. Elgin elbowed him off but Cole returned as Elgin turned himself around. Elgin nailed a sit-down powerbomb off the top. They went into an awesome series of near falls and reversals. Elgin went for a twisting powerbomb but wiped out the referee and there was no one to count. He plead his case to Nigel on commentary, Cole knocked Elgin to the outside, where he was made his way back to the apron but was dropkicked in the knee.
Cole locked on the figure four. Elgin made his way to the ropes. They went back to the outside to battle and returned to the ring, where Cole scored another two count. Cole came off the ropes and nailed a Canadian Destroyer for a two count. Everyone thought that was it. Great stuff.
Cole pulled up Elgin but was backed into the corner hard. Cole kicked him and went for another Destroyer but Elgin sat down on his chest for a two count. Cole missed a superkick and was nailed with a backfirst. Cole ducked a clothesline and nailed a German suplex. Cole finally scored the pin.

Jay Briscoe came out and held the belt for a good, long while. He kept staring at it and handed it slowly to Cole. Cole took it and they faced off before shaking hands. Briscoe stared at Nigel. Cole superkicked him while his back was turned and drilled Briscoe with the belt, turning heel. He held the belt up, celebrating.
