WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: DID ELLSWORTH JINX CARMELLA?, NAKAMURA IN A HANDICAP MATCH, USOS IN ACTION, CHAD HAS A NEW PARTNER, AND A US TITLE REMATCH

Match Number Three:  Shinsuke Nakamura versus Samir Singh and Sunil Singh (with Jinder Mahal)

Both Singhs start things off in the ring and Nakamura with kicks to each and they go to talk to Mahal for advice.  Nakamura kicks Sunil and sends Samir into the turnbuckles.  Nakamura sends both into the turnbuckles and Nakamura with boots in the corner.  Nakamura with a knee to Sunil and he puts him on the turnbuckles.  Nakamura does the same to Samir and he connects with a running knee to the midsection.  Samir goes to the floor and Sunil joins him as Nakamura sends him over the top rope to the floor.

Nakamura wants more but Samir and Sunil attack Nakamura from behind while Nakamura focuses on Mahal.  Samir with a kick while Sunil directs traffic.  Samir with punches and kicks and Sunil joins in.  They Irish whip Nakamura into the corner.  Nakamura kicks Sunil to the floor and he applies the triangle on Samir and he taps out.

Winner:  Shinsuke Nakamura

After the match, Mahal attacks Nakamura but Nakamura with a kick and then he hits Kinshasa.

Kevin Owens continues to walk in the back looking for a referee and he is stopped by Fandango and Tyler Breeze.  Tyler says they may be off duty Fashion Police but they can be Kevin's referee.  Fandango says they can be sexy zebras.

Kevin says no.  He tells them to get out of here and he tells Fandango not to touch the shirt.

Kevin says to wait.

Baron Corbin puts his hand on Kevin's shoulder and he says if Kevin wins, he gets the first shot.

Kevin says it is when.

Baron says that Kevin better be a man of his word.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Natalya says that SummerSlam will be known as the day that the Glow was unplugged.  She proved that she is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.  Naomi, you can wipe your tears away and look at what a real championship looks like.  Natalya says she is the new and forever Smackdown Women's Champion.  She says she will return dignity to the title.  It is no longer GLOW time, it is her time.

Carmella congratulates Nattie on winning and they are happy for her.

James says that it only took a billion times to get the title.

Carmella says she has one thing to talk about.  Nattie, you said it is your time, but remember you are on her watch.

James says Nattie is on borrowed time.

Carmella says she let Nattie have her moment at SummerSlam.  When it is her time, she will exchange this briefcase for that title.

James suggests what Carmella might do and cash in.

Carmella gives James THAT LOOK after what he said.

Match Number Four:  Becky Lynch and Naomi versus Carmella and Natalya (with James Ellsworth)

Naomi and Carmella start things off and Carmella tags in Natalya before doing anything.  Carmella tells Nattie to get her.  They lock up and we go to split screen.

Natalya pushes Naomi after a break and Naomi with a jackknife cover.  Naomi with kicks to Natalya's legs.  Becky tags in and she goes to the turnbuckles for a forearm to the arm.  Becky with a waist lock take down into a front face lock.  Natalya with a hammer lock.  Natalya with a side head lock take down and Becky with a head scissors.  Becky with a drop toe hold into a front face lock and waist lock.  Natalya goes into the ropes.

Natalya with a kick and punch to Becky.  Natalya walks across Becky's stomach twice.  Becky with an arm drag followed by a drop kick.  Becky wiht a thrust kick.  Naomi tags in and Becky with a snap mare and Naomi gets a near fall.  Naomi with a front face lock.  Becky tags back in and Naomi with a slam and Becky with a series of leg drops.  Becky gets a near fall.  Natalya calls for a time out but she sends Becky into the turnbuckles and she kicks Becky in the corner.  

Natalya with a sleeper but Becky with a snap mare.  Natalya with a discus clothesline and a shot to knock Naomi off the apron.  Natalya kicks Becky in the corner and Carmella refuses the tag and goes to the floor.  Becky with a rollup for a near fall.  Becky has a kick blocked and she hits an enzuigiri.  Natalya with an Irish whip but she runs into an elbow.  Natalya pulls Becky off the turnbuckles for a near fall.  

Becky with an inside cradle for a near fall.  Naomi tags in and she kicks Natalya and hits a sunset flip for a near fall.  Naomi with the FTG and Naomi kicks Natalya away after Natalya tries for the Sharpshooter.  Natalya tags in Carmella and Becky hits an exploder.  Naomi with a split legged moonsault for the three count.

Winners:  Naomi and Becky Lynch

We go to commercial.

We are back and so is Dolph Ziggler.  He is asked what are we to expect from Dolph Ziggler.  He says he is excited to reestablish himself in a . . . backstage segment.  He says he was watching a lot of Raw and Smackdown.  He has unlocked the key to what it takes to be a star in WWE.  He says he is going to start singing.  He is going to play the guitar.  He will rap.  He will dance around like an idiot.  He says he will have a single spotlight and lasers.  He will have a big fancy robe.  He will have a beautiful women escort him to the ring, not any woman, but a woman who glows in the dark.  Dolph says that is what he plans on doing . . . next week.

Lana is on the phone and Tamina enters.  Lana says the ravishing journey to the title starts next week.  Tamina wants to know what is happening this week.  Lana says we are going to figure out why we want this journey.  Lana tells Tamina to close her eyes and remember the feeling being in a locker room full of people but they don't see you.  They talk behind your back because you are different.  Because we are different.  She tells Lana to take those feelings and let them fester until the anger boils over.

Lana tells Tamina to open her eyes and she tells Tamina that she can see the rage.  Together they will crush the competition until Tamina becomes champion.  

AJ Styles walks in the back and referee Baron Corbin stops by and he says he made a deal with Kevin Owens.  If he wins, he gets the first title shot.  AJ says when he wins, there will be an open challenge every week.  He tells Baron if he wants a chance, accept the challenge.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Five:  Kevin Owens versus AJ Styles (with Guest Referee Baron Corbin) for the US Title

The bell rings and Owens goes to the floor.  Owens rolls back in and he goes back to the floor.  Owens punches Styles while AJ talks to Corbin.  Owens with kicks to Styles.  Owens with more kicks and he chokes AJ.  Owens with a punch and chop.  Owens with chops and forearms.  Styles with a drop kick and Kevin goes to the floor.  Styles with a slingshot forearm to the floor.  

We go to commercial.

We are back and Owens with a side head lock and Styles with elbows and a Pele Kick.  Owens goes to the floor.  Owens trips Styles on the apron and hits a fallaway slam into the ringside barrier.  Owens sends Styles back into the ring and gets a near fall.  Owens with a reverse chin lock.  Owens gets a near fall.  Owens runs his forearm across the face and he returns to the reverse chin lock.  

Styles with elbows and a sit out gourdbuster.  Styles blocks a punch and connects with punches of his own.  Styles with strikes and a clothesline.  Styles with a sliding forearm.  Styles with a flying clothesline into the corner followed by an Ushigoroshi and Styles gets a near fall.  Owens sends Styles to the apron but Styles with a forearm.  Owens ducks the Phenomenal Forearm.  Styles applies the Calf Crusher.  Owens tries to avoid tapping out and he goes for the ropes but Styles rolls Owens into the center of the ring but Corbin tells Styles to release the hold since Owens got to the ropes.

Owens pushes Styles into Corbin and Corbin pushes Styles and Owens gets a near fall.  Owens with another rollup for a near fall.  Owens and Styles both with clotheslines and both men go down.  

Shane McMahon comes to the ring and he argues with Baron Corbin about what he is doing.  

Owens with a low blow while Corbin and Shane talk and Shane pulls Corbin out of the ring because of what Shane saw.

Shane and Corbin argue and Kevin wants to know what the hell is going on.  Corbin gives Shane his referee's shirt.

Shane puts on the shirt and he takes over as referee. 

AJ drops Kevin on the top rope and then AJ hits the Phenomenal Forearm for the three count.

Winner:  AJ Styles
