We go back to last week's Raw to see the acceptance of the challenge to come to the Wyatt Family Compound.
We go to the compound and they are greeted by a woman in a sheep mask and a sea of car headlights. Someone hits their truck and it is Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt.
They fight by the truck and Big E fights off Strowman until Rowan hits Big E from behind. Rowan with a spinebuster to Kofi.
Woods hides behind a tree but Wyatt finds him and he punches Woods and carries him away. Big E stops Rowan from his attack on Kofi but Strowman gets involved. Strowman charges at Big E but misses and hits the truck.
Wyatt returns and he drops Woods.
Strowman, Rowan, and Wyatt work over Big E and then they turn their attention to Kofi. Strowman gets on top of the truck and Woods tries to stop Rowan and Wyatt. Woods hits Strowman with a bucket while Kofi battles wtih Bray. Kofi is put in the car and Bray destroys the window.
Woods attacks Wyatt and comes off the car. Big E, Kofi, and Woods make their move on Wyatt but Bray laughs.
Strowman and Rowan emerge from among the people at the trucks and the fireflies appear.
Bray tells them to Follow the Buzzards.
We go to the announcers and they talk about what they just saw.
Colin says everybody on this roster is gunning for John Cena's spot. He wants John's spot. Enzo wants his spot. You want his spot. The difference is that if they are going to take his spot and knock John off that mountain, they are going to earn it. As for you three, you come out here week after week after week and BEAT UP JOHN CENA and use the numbers game to take him out of the equation.
Enzo says they have no backbone.
Colin says it is only a matter of time before you try to take out him and Enzo. Instead of sitting back and waiting, they stepped up and joined the fight.
AJ says that was a real cute story. Like he said earlier, John Cena isn't here tonight. You know why? Because he don't care about you. This is his final warning. Turn and walk away because once you step into this ring, his boys are going to drop you where you stand.
Enzo says the only place they are walking is into that ring right now.
Colin says they will prove there is only one word to describe them.
Match Number Six: Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady versus Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson (with AJ Styles)
The match is joined in progress and Enzo with a side head lock and snap mare but Anderson with a hammer lock into a wrist lock. Enzo uses the ropes to reverse the wrist lock. Anderson punches Enzo in the corner. Anderson with an Irish whip but Enzo with a rollup for a near fall. Enzo with a back slide for a near fall. Enzo with a side head lock take down. Gallows tags in and he punches Enzo. Gallows with a hard Irish whip and head butt. Gallows with an uppercut and Anderson tags in. Anderson with a side head lock. Colin tags in and slams Anderson and then he slams Enzo onto Anderson.
Colin with chops to Anderson. Enzo tags in and he is thrown into Anderson and goes to the apron. Anderson runs into a shoudler and flips into the ring. Gallows tags in and kicks Enzo when he goes for an O'Connor Roll. Enzo is sent shoulder first into the ring post and he goes to the floor while AJ yells at him for sleeping on the job and we go to commercial.
We are back and Anderson with a side head lock and clothesline to Enzo for a near fall. Anderson wtih a kick in the corner and he tags in Gallows. Gallows with a splash into the corner and he gets a near fall. Enzo escapes a slam attempt and he connects with a forearm to Anderson. Gallows stops Enzo from making the tag and Gallows runs Enzo into the corner. Enzo is caught by Gallows but Enzo with a DDT and both men are down.
Colin and Anderson tag in and Colin with a shoudler tackle and clothesline followed by a slam and leaping elbow drop. Colin with a fallaway slam and Stinger Splash and boot to the head. Enzo tags in and he goes up top for the Rocket Launcher but Enzo cannot take advantage. Styles send Colin to the floor and sends him into the crowd as Enzo gets a near fall. The referee calls for the bell.
Winners: Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady (by disqualification)
AJ, Anderson, and Gallows surround Enzo and then John Cena's music plays while they stand around. Cena comes to the ring and Colin returns to the ring. Styles, Gallows, and Anderson are sent to the floor.
The announcers talk about what you can see on the WWE Network on Wednesday night.
Match Number Seven: Dana Brooke (with Charlotte) versus Sasha Banks
Sasha with a punch to Dana and she has something to say to Dana but Dana goes to the floor. Dana goes to the apron and the referee tells Sasha to let her into the ring. Sasha with a waist lock but she backs Sasha into the corner and calls her a chihuahua. Sasha with a slap. Sasha with a double knee drop and she gets a near fall. Dana with a wrist lock but Sasha with an arm drag using the ropes. Dana grabs Sasha by the hair and sends her to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Dana with a snap mare and rear chin lock. Sasha sends Dana into the ropes. Dana refuses to be Irish whipped so Sasha with a boot to the head. Dana with a side slam for a near fall. Dana sends Sasha into the turnbuckles and she connects with shoulders. Dana with a forearm and a handstand choke. Sasha with an elbow. Dana with shoudlers in the corner. Dana gets a near fall. Dana with a reverse chin lock. Sasha with an arm drag but Dana with a boot to the head. Dana runs into a boot from Sasha and Sasha kicks Dana down. Sasha with flying forearms and a drop kick. Sasha blocks a kick and kicks Dana in the leg.
Sasha blocks a kick from Dana and puts her on the middle turnbuckle and hits a double knee drop and gets a near fall. Sasha tries to float over and Dana with a kick. Dana is sent into the turnbuckles and Sasha goes up top but Dana stops her. Dana goes for a superplex but Sasha pushes Dana off and hits a cross body for a near fall. Sasha goes for the lungblower but Dana holds on to the ropes. Dana with a Jericho pose for a near fall. Dana gets Sasha up but Sasha gets to her feet and she hits the lungblower and applies the Banks Statement. Dana tries to get to the ropes and Sasha rolls Dana back into the center of the ring and Dana taps out.
Winner: Sasha Banks
After the match, Charlotte has the mic and she congratulates Sasha. She says since you won one match with that pink and purple hair, you think you are a worthy competitor for the Women's Title. Anyone can get lucky once. Charlotte tells Sasha to face Dana on Smackdown and maybe you can get a title match. She asks Sasha if she is up for the challenge.
Vince McMahon is in the back and we go to commercial.
We are back and it is time for the announcement of the person who will lead Smackdown into the uncharted waters of Tuesday nights live. Before Vince McMahon comes out, Shane McMahon shuffles his way to the ring.
Stephanie McMahon makes her way to the ring.
Now it is time for Vince McMahon to make his way to the ring and Vince does the Power Walk to the ring.
Vince says Shane and Stephanie have been doing a good job. He did not think they would cooperate. Competition is good on Raw, but he is disappointed. It is like neither of you came from his loins.
Who is this sweet little girls who gets along with her brother and is passive aggressive. Who are you?
Stephanie wants the people of Detroit to tell Vince she is not sweet.
Vince says that Shane is only here because of the leap off the cell at Wrestlemania. Where is that ruthless aggression. He says he would have expected one to stab the other in the back or slit the other's throat.
Vince wants to be convinced why they should be the commissioner of Smackdown.
Stephanie mentions the launch of the WWE Network, the biggest Wrestlemania and increased revenue. Stephanie says that she watched Shane on Mick Foley's podcast. He says he left because he wasn't patted on the back enough and he said he knew more than Vince. Shane is manipulative, malicious, and maniacal. The only villain in the ring is the wolf in sheep's clothing.
Vince wants Shane to convince him.
Stephanie says the crowd chants for him because he kisses their butts.
Shane says he returned to WWE five months ago in this building and he was humbled for the reaction when he returned. He should run Smackdown because he represented change. Change is what we need and that is what he would bring to Smackdown. He would change the way things look and he would get rid of the glass ceiling because it is choking the lives out of the business. He says he is the only one in the business who tells Vince what is on his mind in a respectful way without kissing your ass. Change is in the power of your hands right here. You can make history because it is all about change and change is what is needed in the WWE. If you still have the grapefruits, pick him because we need change in the WWE.
Don't just take his word for it, so he does a survey and the crowd is obviously behind Shane.
Vince says he does not care what the people think. That is not the way to run a business.
Shane says one of you has to be named the commissioner of Smackdown Live.
Vince gets a drumroll to make the announcement.
The new Commissioner of Smackdown is Shane McMahon.
Vince says he has to curtail the celebration. He says that he is relieving Shane of his duties on Raw. The commissioner of the juggernaut and flagship Raw is Stephanie McMahon.
Vince says he wants them to compete . . . for real. He wants them to compete for ratings, social media metrics, live event attendance, merchandise. One of you might inherit the keys to the kingdom. He does not care if they break the law, as long as you don't get caught. Vince asks which of them will prove they will inherit the keys to the kingdom. He says each show needs a General Manager. Vince says each of them will name a General Manager on Raw next week or he will name one. Vince says in the end he gets what he wants. He says let the games begin.
Stephanie says she has had to work twice as hard for half the recognition. He will make sure Shane knows when she buries Shane. She says Shane will wish he was never born a McMahon or that he was never born.
Shane says that Stephanie usually hides something when she uses that venom. It isn't intensity or anger. Stephanie is scared. Shane says she will be looking up to him, like she always has.
Shane says Game On.
Stephanie says there is only one game in this business and she is married to him. Stephanie slaps Shane and then she dares Shane to slap her.
Stephanie makes sure to show how dangerous it is to walk down stairs.
