Out came Shane, to a big pop from the crowd. They chanted his name.
Steph said Shane is a panderer. Then he said what's up Chicago.
Shane said he doesn't like to talk about himself but since that is what he has to do, OK. How many headlines have Steph and HHH gotten about what a good job they have done running Raw? Shane then showed a bunch that showed how good he is doing. The fans were loving it.
Shane said that the Network was Vince's idea, not hers. And the Network saw a jump at Mania 32, and there was one match everyone was extra interested in, and one of those two guys in that match were in this very ring.
The fans chanted You Still Got It and Steph acted like they were talking to her. Shane knew better.
He talked about his departure seven years ago. Basically, his voice wasn't being heard. That ended up he and Vince having differences, so he left and it created a void. Steph and H filled it. Instead of making things good, they just spewed venom on the company. They nearly burned it to the ground. He came back to ensure the future for both his kids, but Steph's as well. And the next generations.
So, he asked that Vince listen to him. And if you don't want to hear me, they (the fans) speak for me. They popped and he led them on.
Vince grumpbled "Enough of that crap!" She then did a me vs. Steph vote from the fans, and he won.
Vince said that Steph makes good points. Steph jumped in and said the one thing that Shane has is likability, and that is not business. Vince said he gave Shane Raw because he was classy about it when he said goodbye after Mania.
Vince said you want me to listen to the fans and the media, but I don't listen to anyone BUT ME. Truer words were never spoken. Tonight is about what I want. Clearly speaking, I want blood. The fans chant for CM Punk. Vince wants to see blood. Disembowell each other. Christmas must be fun at his house. He said what he is saying that they are both running Raw, figure it out.
Shane was fine with it. Steph was pissed. He offered a hand shake. She shook it.
So the lesson here is if you are a businessman, you just take your best asset and put it in a tenuous state. Makes (no) sense to me.

AJ Styles vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Title is next.
Stop me if you have heard this before. The fans HATED Reigns and loved AJ.
AJ got a lot in early on, and even had the advantage. Then, Reigns took over. You can guess what happened next.
Basically, when AJ was in control, they were happy. When he wasn't, the fans did some booing. It was really even for the first ten minutes or so and AJ was his good usual working self.
On a side note, that yellow trim on Reigns' suit makes him look like he is from the Killer Bees skits on SNL. It's not imtimidating.
AJ hit a Springboard elbow to the floor on Reigns and laid him out. He tried to get Roman back in the ring but couldn't so went in to try and stop the count but the ref ended it.
BOO.
Shane came out and said UH NO. He made the match restart.
AJ went for a 450 but Reigns got his knees up. Two count only.
Reigns is selling his knee. Reigns took a nut shot, which one of the announcers called ribs. DUH. The ref called for the DQ. So AJ has won twice.
You know what is coming next. Steph. She restarted it until there is a winner, and there will be no DQ.
They are playing the one up each other game.
AJ went for the springboard forearm but ate a Superman Punch. Two count only. Reigns hit another. Then went for the spear. Anderson and Gallows came out and pulled AJ out of the ring. They went after Reigns and beat him down. Remember Steph said no DQ.
They laid out Roman and AJ took his time coming back in. He hit the forearm but only got a two count.
The Usos came out and brawled with Anderson and Gallows. AJ went to the top and pushed them on all four of them. Roman followed with a big splash of his owned.
AJ hit the 450 for two. They traded big spots but in the end Reigns hit The Spear for the win. It was a really well worked, good match, even if the fans still hated Reigns after he won.
Vince put over his kids for their decisions. Does AJ deaserve a rematch? Yes they say. Where? Shane says Extreme Rules. Steph says I support your decision. In three weeks in Newark, NJ, AJ vs. Roman II.
