REPOST FROM 2016: AFTER ALMOST FIVE HOURS (ACTUALLY SEVEN) WE HAVE A WINNER IN THE MAIN EVENT, THE FANS LOVE ROMAN REIGNS (YOU KNEW I WASN'T SERIOUS), THE ROCK WRESTLES, MANIA 33 WILL BE IN APRIL NEXT YEAR, BARON CORBIN DEBUTS AND THEY BOOKED HIM RIGHT, WE NOW KNOW WHO CONTROLS RAW, FIRST WOMEN'S CHAMPION IS, DEAN VS. BROCK PRODUCES A FAMILIAR RESULT, WE NOW KNOW HOW THEY WILL USE AUSTIN, FOLEY AND HBK, NEW DAY VS. THE LEAGUE, WHAT WAS UP WITH THE END OF AJ-Y2J, HOLY HELL THE LADDER MATCH WAS NUTS, DUDLEYS VS. USOS, WE HAVE A NEW WOMEN'S TITLE, TEN DIVA ACTION, KALISTO DEFENDS AGAINST RYBACK - FUL WRESTLEMANIA 32 BLOG

Shane showed he wasn't dead so Taker picked him up and brought him into the ring.  He told Shane brong it.  Shane said the same thing.  Taker patted him in the face and then hit the Tombstone for the pin, to a big pop from the crowd.  Vince McMahon keeps Raw.

Shane got put on a stretcher and got rolled out.  He gave a thumbs up, on cue, as he hit the back.  He's OK!

Hopefully they do an angle tomorrow where they say, "OK, I lost Raw, I can still have Smackdown!" and they do a brand split.

Time for the Battle Royal.  Baron Corbin is in it.  They better book him strongly or what is the point.

Hell, Dallas Page is in this thing.  Damn.

So is Shaquille O'Neal in this.  Holy crap.  Tatanka is in there too.  Shaq faces off with Kane and Show.  He went to chokeslam them but they did it to him first.  The ring cleared Shaq and Show could face off.  Show tossed Fandango.  Shaq tossed Sandow (who got a big pop and was wasted again).  Shaq and Show faced off and everyone ran back in and eliminated them.

I was eating wings so no play by play but I will say this FINALLY they did what I have been calling for and had Baron Corbin win it. When he came out, I was scared but in the end, he got the win and got to make a good first impression in WWE.  Hopefully they take this and build on it.  The fans chanted NXT after he won the match.

Next year's WrestleMania will take place on April 2, 2017 in Orlando, FL.

They brought out The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.  And then, The Rock!  He had a fire gun.

And then he said this....

 

Rock announced a new attendance record for WrestleMania of 101,763.

Then, out came the Wyatt Family.

And it led to a match, Rock vs. Erick Rowan.  1-2-3, Rock Bottom win in six seconds.  Match over.

The Wyatts circiled the ring and....if you can' guess what happened next, come on!

Yep, John Cena is back.  He ran out to make the save.  Rock and Cena worked over Rowan.  Bray came in and he took the Rock Bottom and The People's Elbow.  Rock took the mic and told Cena, "Welcome Back".

They aired a long vignette package for HHH vs. Roman Reigns.  FYI, they blocked off FIVE HOURS for this PPV and they will be using it.

Stephanie came out and looked like this.

She basically crapped on the fans and tried to make you hate Triple H.  Her promo would have been good if the fans didn't hate Roman Reigns.

Then Reigns came out and it was clear that they hate Reigns more.  I hope they have a good booking idea ready.

It was clear during the intros that most of the fans liked H and didn't like Reigns.

Steph stayed at ringside.  Whenever Roman was in charge, they booed.  My friend Neil asked how could they turn Reigns heel now.  I said by having Vince come out and say that while he didn't want Shane to win, he was right, the Authority have ruined his product so he wants them out.  It wouldn't shock me.

HHH hit a low blow, and it got a pop.  H went to work for a while on Reigns.  His offense was great.  He did a cool flying knee and swinging neckbreaker on the floor.  He should have been getting heel heat.  H missed a spot off of the ropes and Reigns got some offense.  It was silent, better than boos, or maybe not.  Roman got a near fall and they booed.  H was on the floor and Roman hit a running clothesline.  They have to turn Roman heel.  It's the only chance he has to get over down the line.

Reigns put H through the steps.  But then H came back and blasted Reigns through the steps an a table.  H turned his head and Roman speared him through the barricade.

Roman went for the Spear but Triple H locked in an armbar and did a great heel move where he pulled back his fingers.  Roman rolled over and H turned it into one armbar.  Roman powered up and dumped him. H locked it on again and Roman dumped him again.

Roman ran in and H stopped him and went for the Pedigree.  Roman countered with a backdrop over the top.  The fans started Ole.  Uh oh.   Reigns wen for the jumping splash but H nailed him.  Roman turned it into pin attempt but Steph distracted the ref.  She yelled at the ref and walked away from her.  She said don't walk away from me.  It led to Steph taking the Spear by accident.  OUCH. Will that get the fans behind Roman?

H then hit a Pedigree, two count only.

Roman hit the knee to the head to set up the Pedigree but Roman hit a Superman punch. Roman went for the Spear but HHH got his knee up.  HHH got a one handed cover for two.

Steph came to and gave the sledgehammer to H but Reigns hit the Superman Punch.  Then another, then a Spear.  1-2-3, new champion Roman.  A lot of fans were happy.  Having him hit a woman was brilliant.  It got him over with at least some of the fans.

Reigns got up with the belt aftward and there were audible boos.  But it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be.  Taking out Steph definitely swayed some people.

Overall, they worked a really good match.  If the fans were into Roman as the face, it would have been better beause the fan reactions would have been great and added to it.

Well, that is your Mania.  Off to do a post game show.
