LATEST GLOBAL FORCE WRESTLING UPDATES

By Mike Johnson on 2015-12-04 13:20:00
Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling currently has 16 hours of episodic TV ready to go when they sign TV deals. The promotion is being represented by Boulder Creek International for TV distribution and were represented at MIPCOM and SPORTEL last month. Boulder Creek is slated to also present GFW at another TV broadcasters convention in Singapore this coming week.

As noted on the site, PJ Black dropped their NexGen title over the weekend in North Carolina. Black has signed with Lucha Underground, so that necessitated the title change to Sonjay Dutt.

There are slated to be some announcements regarding live events next week, both domestically and internationally. The promotion recently held some live events in the UK.

GFW's Jeff Jarrett is slated to be in attendance next week in Nashville as he's been invited to the winter meetings for MLB and MILB. While there, Jarrett will be talking with different teams about bringing GFW Grand Slam tour dates to their stadiums, following up on the live events the promotion hosted over the summer and earlier this fall.

The word making the rounds is that the promotion is in final rounds of talks with a "major Hollywood player" that began after the first set of GFW TV tapings in Las Vegas a few months ago. I'm not sure what exactly this entails but it's not a cable network.
