MOST INTERESTING NAME COMES UP WITHIN WWE

Several sources have noted to PWInsider.com that former WWE champion Alberto Del Rio's name has come up in conversation for creative ideas over the last several weeks. While there is no confirmation he is returning to the company at this time, the timing of his name being brought up is especially interesting since WWE is heading to Mexico to tour this weekend.

Del Rio was released from the company in August 2014 after he slapped WWE.com employee who allegedly made comments of a racially insulting nature about him. Del Rio and WWE later came to terms regarding his release and ability to wrestle outside the company in November 2014. The employee in question left WWE one month before, in October 2014.

Since leaving WWE, Del Rio, as Alberto El Patron, has been one of the top stars of AAA in Mexico and has done announcing for Combate Americas, a Hispanic MMA franchise.
