Chris DeJoseph, head of creative for Lucha Underground, noted on Twitter that the second season of the series will debut on the El Rey Network in January 2016.

PWInsider.com broke on 10/5 that the season will begin filming the week of 11/14 in the Boyle Heights section of Los Angeles, CA.
