1991 - WCW's Great American Bash 1991 was held, a PPV event best remembered for who wasn't there, Ric Flair. The event, held at the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, was originally built around NWA/WCW World Champion Ric Flair defending the title against Lex Luger. When then-WCW Vice President Jim Herd fired Flair right before the PPV during contract negotiations, the card was thrown into disarray. At one point, Flair was going to drop the title to Barry Windham prior to the Bash, but when Flair told Herd that he wanted back his deposit (at that time, the NWA champion left a bond as a security deposit when he was given the belt) before giving back the title, Herd told Flair to just keep the belt.

A new WCW belt was created (actually, I think they just put a new plate on an old title belt), since Flair still had the "big gold belt", and a match was announced between Lex Luger and Barry Windham to determine a new champion. The fans, many of whom had purchased their tickets before all this went down, chanted "We Want Flair" throughout the night, a chant that would become very familiar in WCW for the next several months. The chants were clearly audible throughout the PPV broadcast.

Windham, meanwhile, had been previously advertised for a steel cage match where he would team with Arn Anderson and Paul E. Dangerously against Rick & Scott Steiner and Missy Hyatt. However, an injury to Scott Steiner and Windham's being moved into the title match changed it to Dangerously & Anderson vs. Rick & Hyatt. Then the Maryland State Athletic Commission stepped in and informed them that a woman could not wrestle a man in that state. So, an angle had to be thought up to get Hyatt out of the match. As an interesting side note, that rule still exists, so when WWE put on a Stephanie McMahon vs. Vince McMahon match in Maryland a few years ago, WWE had to pay a fine (actually, they paid it in advance) for the match.

Another interesting side note in all this is that the NWA (which, as an organization, was separate from WCW) continued to recognize Flair as "their champion" all the way until Flair's WWF debut. This would mark the first time the WCW and NWA titles were seen as separate entities.

Here are the results for the show which many have branded one of the greatest PPV disasters of all time:
- In a dark match, Junkyard Dog defeated Black Bart. Strangely, this match between the two past-their-prime veterans went over 12 minutes, longer than all but two matches on the PPV card.
- PN News & Bobby Eaton defeated Steve Austin & Terrance Taylor in a Scaffold match. Out of nowhere, WCW changed the rules of a Scaffold match, which traditionally didn't end until someone fell off the scaffold into the ring. Just before the bout began, it was announced that you could win the match by crossing the scaffold and grabbing the opposing team's "flag" which was secured to the opposite end of the scaffold from where your team started. After six minutes of light brawling on the scaffold, Eaton grabbed the flag for an anti-climactic victory.  In hindsight, putting three of the best workers in the company in a gimmick match like this was a poor decision.
- The Diamond Stud (Scott Hall) defeated Tom Zenk in nine minutes with a back suplex as Zenk was going after Stud's manager, Dallas Page.
- Ron Simmons defeated Oz (Kevin Nash) in eight minutes after a series of shoulderblocks.
- Ricky Morton defeated Robert Gibson in seventeen minutes. Morton, who had just turned heel and joined the York Foundation, spent the majority of the match working on Gibson's knee, then got the win by hitting Gibson with Alexandra York's laptop computer. York would later be known as Marlena and Terri in WWE.
- Dustin Rhodes and the Young Pistols (Tracey Smothers & Steve Armstrong) defeated The Freebirds (Jimmy Garvin, Badstreet & Michael Hayes) in an elimination match that went seventeen minutes, and all the eliminations took place in the last four minutes of the match. Here is the order of elimination:
* Hayes pinned Armstrong.
* Hayes was disqualified.
* Garvin pinned Smothers.
* Rhodes pinned Garvin.
* Rhodes pinned Badstreet with a bulldog to win the match.
- The Yellow Dog (Brian Pillman in a mask to circumvent a loser-leaves-WCW stip) defeated Johnny B. Badd via disqualification in six minutes when Teddy Long interfered.
- Big Josh defeated Blackblood (Billy Jack Haynes) in a little over five minutes in a lumberjack match after Dustin Rhodes hit Blackblood with an ax handle, setting up the pin.
- El Gigante defeated One Man Gang, with Kevin Sullivan, in six minutes when Gigante kicked powder that Gang was going to use into his own face.
- Nikita Koloff defeated Sting in a Russian chain match in eleven minutes. Both men had touched three corners, and Sting then dove for the fourth, but in doing so knocked Nikita back first into the corner, so Nikita was declared the winner.  The same finish was used many years later in a Bullrope match between JBL and Eddie Guerrero to set up JBL's WWE Title win.
- Lex Luger defeated Barry Windham in a Steel Cage match with a piledriver to win the vacant WCW World Title. Harley Race and Mr. Hughes came out towards the end, and aligned with Lex Luger, although they never actually got involved in the match. Luger then became a heel (even though he was a face to this point), despite not actually doing any heel tactics in order to win the title. The fans couldn't seem to care less, chanting "We Want Flair" for almost the entire duration of the match.
- Rick Steiner defeated Arn Anderson & Paul E. Dangerously in a steel cage match in two minutes. Steiner came out with Hyatt, but the Hardliners (Dick Murdoch & Dick Slater) came out and carried Hyatt to the back. Steiner did nothing to help his "kidnapped" partner. Anderson was accidentally knocked out by Paul E. Dangerously's phone, and Steiner pinned Dangerously with a clothesline.  Hyatt was kidnapped by The Hardliners, Dick Murdoch and Dick Slater, before the match as the Maryland Athletic Commission would not allow male vs. female action in the ring.

1992 - Tod Gordon's Eastern Championship Wrestling ran Philadelphia, PA at the Original Sports Bar in front of 275 fans featuring:
-Mr. Perez pinned Jimmy Jannetty.
-Scott Summers & King Kaluha defeated JT Smith & Hurricane Curry.
-The Samoan Warrior defeated Jack Hammer via disqualification.
-Salvatore Bellomo fought Tony Stetson to a double disqualification.
-ECW Tag Team Champions the Super Destroyers defeated Max Thrasher & Glenn Osbourne.
-Tonny Cairo pinned Damien Stone.

-Mr. Sandman pinned Larry Winters.
-Jimmy Snuka pinned ECW Champion Johnny Hot Body to win the title, crowned as first champion.

1992 - WCW ran a WCW Saturday Night taping in Atlanta, GA at the Center Stage Theatre with the following results:

-Van Hammer defeated Bob Cook.
-Ron Simmons pinned Joe Cruz at 2:27 with the powerslam; during the bout, it was announced Simmons would be competing in the upcoming NWA World Title tournament in Japan.
-Diamond Dallas Page & Vinnie Vegas defeated Joey Maggs & Johnny Rich when DDP pinned Maggs.
-Dan Spivey defeated Ian Weston.
-WCW World Champion Big Van Vader (w/ Harley Race) defeated Scott Allen & Terry Bronson.
-Rick & Scott Steiner defeated Terry Taylor & Bobby Eaton at 7:19 when Rick pinned Taylor with a bulldog off the middle turnbuckle.
-WCW TV Champion Steve Austin defeated Larry Zbyzsko (sub. for an injured Ricky Steamboat); after the bout, Austin said Steamboat wouldn't get another shot at his title since he missed his opportunity.
-The Barbarian defeated Randy Starr.
-Tom Zenk & Brian Pillman defeated Dick Slater & Greg Valentine via disqualification when the Barbarian interfered.
-WCW World Champion Big Van Vader (w/ Harley Race) defeated Larry Santo & Rob Campbell.
-Nikita Koloff defeated Arn Anderson (w/ Paul E. Dangerously).

1996 - WCW ran a TV Taping in Orlando, FL at Disney MGM Studios with the following results:
-Lord Steven Regal & David Taylor defeated Chad Brock (yes, the country singer) & Chavo Guerrero.

-WCW World Tag Team Champions Harlem Heat defeated High Voltage.
-Eddie Guerrero defeated Bobby Eaton.
-Dick Slater & Mike Enos defeated The American Males, Marcus Alexander Bagwell & Scotty Riggs.
-Scott Norton defeated Bobby Walker.

1997 - Steve Austin & Dude Love (Mick Foley) defeat Owen Hart & Davy Boy Smith in a tournament final for the WWF World Tag Team Title in San Antonio, Texas. The belts had been vacated by previous champions Austin & Shawn Michaels, who refused to team together.

1997 - WCW ran Orlando, FL with a Monday Nitro taping, featuring the following:
-Joe Gomez defeated Jeff Bradley.
-Bill Gold (the future Goldberg) defeated Hugh Morrus.

Nitro:
-Alex Wright fought Prince Iaukea to a no contest at around the 2-minute mark when the Giant appeared, hit a chokeslam on the referee, Iaukea, and several members of security as Wright left the ring; prior to the bout, Wright cut an insert promo claiming the fans were jealous of him because of his body and the fact he gets so many girls; after the bout, the Giant cut an in-ring promo saying he wanted Kevin Nash after realizing Nash was the fake Sting the night before; as the segment ended, Doug Dillinger and other members of security came out to calm the Giant down.
-Eddie Guerrero pinned Chavo Guerrero Jr. at 4:15 with a powerbomb and the frog splash after raising his knees to block Chavo's own frog splash; prior to the bout, footage was shown from the previous week of Eddie walking out of his tag team match with Chavo against Scott Norton & Buff Bagwell; after the contest, Eddie hit the move a second time, with Hector Guerrero then appearing and standing over Chavo; moments later, Eddie shoved Hector to the mat and left the ring.
-Rick & Scott Steiner defeated Scott Norton & Buff Bagwell (w/ Vincent) via disqualification at 6:45 when the Great Muta & Masahiro Chono attacked the Steiners as the Steiners attempted the bulldog off the top double team on Bagwell; early in the contest, it was announced the Steiners would face WCW Tag Team Champions Scott Hall & Kevin Nash at Road Wild; during the contest, Konnan, Syxx, Hall, and Nash were shown arriving to the arena in a limo; after the contest, the Steiners eventually cleared the ring of all five opponents (Konnan's debut with the New World Order).
-Chris Benoit defeated Mike Enos via submission with the Crippler Crossface at 3:47; prior to the bout, Benoit cut an insert promo on ending Kevin Sulivan's career the previous night at Bash at the Beach and said he would now focus on Horsemen business.
-La Parka defeated Super Calo via disqualification at the 49-second mark when Randy Savage attacked La Parka; prior to the bout, footage was shown from the previous week of Diamond Dallas Page, dressed as La Parka, beating Savage after hitting the Diamond Cutter; during La Parka's entrance, Kimberly was shown near the entranceway giving the Diamond Cutter sign, alluding that La Parka could be Diamond Dallas Page in disguise; after the contest, Page attacked Savage until Curt Hennig knocked Page out with a foreign object and then left the ring; moments later, Savage hit the flying elbowsmash on Page; Gene Okerlund then conducted an interview with Hennig in the aisle in which Hennig called Page the biggest mark in the industry and that he couldn't last 30 seconds with Hennig, just like he can't last 30 seconds "with that hosebag;" Ric Flair then appeared, bowed before Hennig, and went backstage with him.
-WCW Tag Team Champion Scott Hall & Syxx (sub. for WCW Tag Team Champion Kevin Nash) (w/ WCW Tag Team Champion Kevin Nash) defeated Harlem Heat at 9:01 when Hall pinned Booker T with the Outsider's Edge after Nash, confined to a wheelchair at ringside, leapt onto the apron behind the referee's back and clubbed Booker in the back of the head; prior to the bout, Eric Bischoff, Vincent, Konnan, Masahiro Chono, the Great Muta, Buff Bagwell, Scott Norton, Hall, Syxx, and Nash appeared at the entranceway; Bischoff then said Nash, in a wheelchair, was injured and then gave the mic to Nash for him to respond to claims he was dressed as Sting the previous night; Nash then had several of the New World Order members help him to his feet before officially welcoming Konnan, referred to as "K Dawg," into the nWo, with Konnan then revealing an nWo shirt underneath his button-up; during Harlem Heat's entrance, footage was shown from the June 16 Nitro in which Vincent interrupted the Heat's interview, with the Heat then double teaming him in the aisle.
-The Great Muta & Masahiro Chono (w/ Vincent) defeated The Public Enemy at 6:51 when Chono pinned Johnny Grunge with the Mafia Kick after Muta sprayed green mist into Grunge's face; Muta joined the referee in making the pinfall during the cover.
-WCW U.S. Champion Jeff Jarrett (w/ Debra McMichael) defeated Ric Flair via disqualification at 5:24 when, as Flair had the champion in the figure-4, Steve McMichael came ringside, argued with Debra, and then joined Chris Benoit and Flair in triple teaming Jarrett inside the ring; Jarrett eventually fled ringside with Debra.

1998 - D'Lo Brown defeats Hunter Hearst Helmsley for the WWF European Heavyweight title in Binghamton, New York, ending the second reign with the title for Helmsley.

2002 - WWE ran St. Johns, New Foundland in Canada. Matthew Janes filed the following live report:

For the first time since 1994 (when the main event was Lex Luger vs Ludvig Borga), it was our pleasure to welcome WWE back to St. John’s, Newfoundland.  They debuted tonight at Mile One Stadium, a facility which at its capacity holds about 5,500 people. I would estimate that the building was about 90% full which is actually very impressive, as that means that about 5% of the population of the city was watching wrestling tonight. The layout was plain but effective – a grid of about 50 lights that changed color and panned the crowd at appropriate times. Security was local and bad, and the ring announcer was the usual SmackDown guy.

Opener was Albert vs. Randy Orton. Crowd begins by popping for everyone and everything. Constant feedback from the microphone annoys the ring announcer as well. The near-capacity crowd got into the event right from the start, responding to every move. The match was much longer than it deserved to be – about eight minutes – and ended with Randy Orton rolling Albert into a pinning combination after Albert had been arguing with the ref about a near pinfall. Not a classic, but it got the crowd going. It would be a hot night.

Sho Funaki/Nick Dinsmore next. The crowd started off hot, but then did start to lose interest as this match too went far too long. Funaki wins by pinfall after about ten minutes.

Kidman/Jamie Noble followed for the cruiserweight title. Match became very physical, with several bumps against the railings, including an impressive one by Nidia. That particular one got a “Holy $**t” chant from the crowd. Kidman is way over with the crowd, and Noble plays the classic heel. Noble gets the win by pinfall, again at about the ten minute mark. Solid match, fast paced, and entertaining.

Chavo Guerrero and Tajiri/Hurricane and Rey Mysterio Jr. was next. Crowd popped HUGE for Rey Mysterio’s return, as it was unannounced. He was on fire and eating the crowd up – TWO huracanranas were performed.  All four seemed to be enjoying themselves, and the Hurricane was so much more over than he should have been. Rey pins Chavo after about seven minutes. Very hot match which could have gone longer.

Batista/Randy Orton lasted only two minutes. Orton was way over with the crowd, but something obviously went unplanned – or it was an unusual shoot-style house show work. After pinning Orton at the two minute mark, Batista immediately left the ring, and two other refs and a trainer rushed out. It appeared as though Orton could not get up, and within two more minutes, the local ambulance team was at ringside with stretcher (as they are in attendance at all major events). After pouring water on Orton and talking to him a little longer, however, he was able to get up and seemingly walk on his own, earning a big round of applause from the crowd. Hopefully if this was in fact legit it was nothing serious.

Test/Rikishi ended off the first half. What can I say? Rikishi started bleeding like nobody’s business two minutes into the match (much as in the Ottawa report). A few hardcore shots, with Test nailing Rikishi into the steps and giving him a chairshot. Rikishi’s head was covered in red and it seemed as though he could barely see. Test wins with the pin after about twelve minutes, then Rikishi gets up shortly thereafter and plays up the crowd. Intermission followed. Kurt Angle was visible talking to Edge about their match.

The next match got the same momentum going again, with Billy, Chuck, and Rico going against Mark Henry, Hugh Morrus, and Shannon Moore. The match was pure fun, with all six interacting with the crowd. Chants included “Billy’s got herpes” and “Chuck likes little boys.” Highlight for me was eeing Billy do the Ric Flair flop. Same format as the previous night in Ottawa, with Chuck pinning Shannon Moore at the end. Seemed as though all six were thoroughly enjoying themselves.

The next match really got the crowd going. Lance Storm and Christian, who both got HUGE pops, took on Hardcore Holly and Big Valbowski , who both gave the crowd the finger. Same result as in Ottawa, except here Holly and Valbowski actually left for a near-ten count before coming back to fight. The “USA sucks” chant went on forever and recurred during the main event.  After it was all over, someone threw in a Canadian flag, which Lance put over Valbowski, whom he had pinned for the win. One very vocal fan tried to hop the rail and quickly got ejected.

Next was the bra and panties match. The guy sitting next to me was sure Stacey Keibler was going to show – but I had read otherwise. Dawn Marie looked really hot in a pinkish kind of deal, but Torrie won. Crowd big time into it, lots of “show us your ****” chants. Lasted only about three minutes, and no, sadly, Torrie didn’t strip down after.

Kurt Angle/Edge finished things off. Kurt Angle is just phenomenal and plays his character so well. He tried to get the crowd to chant “USA rules,” but of course, the inevitable happened. He did such a good job of acting surprised that the crowd responded that way. He’s just great. Edge was over huge, and the two worked a solid match, forgiving the two-minute resthold break they took in the middle. Edge won suddenly at about the twelve minute mark, and worked the crowd for about ten minutes, putting Newfoundland over and, of course, Canada as well. Sent the crowd home happy before 10pm.

I enjoyed the show. It didn’t have the spice of a TV event and it was lacking in star power, but what made the show was the fact that the performers seemed to be genuinely enjoying themselves, and we enjoyed them.  Everyone left the ring to applause, whether face or heel, because we truly appreciated their work. The crowd was into the wrestling tonight, and it was a pleasant change from the TV format. On a personal note, I was privileged to show Edge and Lance Storm around a part of one of our national parks in St. John’s where I work, and both were very eloquent, professional, and cool around visitors. They are both class acts and seemed interested in where they were and the history around them – not easy with all the places that they visit. Edge mentioned his visit to this site in his promo following his victory, and I was glad to have helped him enjoy one of his many stops along the way.

2002 - WWE broadcast Heat.  John Keane filed the following TV report:

Heat Report for 7/14/2002.

Matches taped on 7/8 in Philadelphia, PA.

Your Announcers are Jonathan Coachman and D’Lo Brown.

We start off backstage-Lillian Garcia interviews Hardcore Champion Bradshaw. He’ll be taking on Raven tonight, but seems more interested in talking about ‘Harvard’ Chris Nowinski-at length and rather incomprehensibly.

Pyros go off, Coach and D’Lo welcome us in, we get to work…

1st Match; For the Hardcore Championship: Raven (w/shopping cart of plunder) vs. champ Bradshaw.

Decent heat for Raven, big pop for Bradshaw. Raven gets in a couple trash can lid shots to start off, Bradshaw promptly sends him down with a shoulder. Bradshaw gets in a lid shot, Raven bails, Bradshaw follows, slams his opponents head into announce table, grabs a set of ring steps, sends Raven down with a nasty shot with the steps. Bradshaw gets in some forearm shots, sends Raven face first into next set of ring steps, rolls him in and follows. Elbow knocks Raven goofy, cowbell shot sends him down. Bradshaw grabs a length of rope, gets in quick slam, ties Ravens ankles together. Raven hops to feet, lid shot sends him back to canvas. Bradshaw attempts to set for powerbomb, Raven avoids, grabs fire extinguisher hose, (oh yeah, ring is covered with hardcore stuff), Bradshaw counters with shot to head with main body of extinguisher. Raven down and up, Bradshaw gets in an elbow, Raven counters with handicap sign shots, Bradshaw down. Up, Raven sends him down with shot to the midsection with a potted plant. Raven grabs cowbell and chain, lays in choke, goes up on Bradshaw's shoulders, gets rammed into turnbuckles, takes back suplex, both men down. Up, Bradshaw lays in forearms, whips Raven off ropes, sends him down with an elbow. Raven to corner, takes a clothesline, Bradshaw goes for whip, Raven off ropes, ducks a clothesline, off again, attempts flying crossbody, Bradshaw catches him, scores fallaway slam. Raven sets up chair in corner, drop toe holds Bradshaw face first into it. Bradshaw up in corner, Raven goes for a chairshot, Bradshaw gets a boot up, Raven takes it and chair to face, goes down. Raven up slowly, Bradshaw wraps cowbell chain around arm, scores augmented Clothesline From Hell, gets the 1-2-3.

Winner and Still Hardcore Champion: Bradshaw.

Supposedly, Raven asked for this match hoping that holding a title belt would get him back on Raw-not tonight bud. Break.

Back we recap the n.W.o. segment from last weeks Raw. Shawn Michaels re-extended his invitation to HHH to join the faction-adding that, if he doesn’t agree to join within 2 weeks, he’ll be making one of the the worst decisions of his life.

Coach and D’Lo point out that HHH’s possible addition to the n.W.o. roster would be more important than ever to the faction, due to the recent injury to Kevin Nash. Back to the ring…

2nd Match: Shawn Stasiak vs. Sean O’Haire. (To avoid confusion, mainly to myself, I’ll refer to the former as Stasiak in the recap.)

Pretty decent crowd responses for both. Lockup, Stasiak applies side headlock, scores quick snapmare, Sean down for a quick 2. Up, Sean breaks out of headlock, sends Stasiak off ropes, Sean goes down to a shoulder. Leapfrog sequence, Sean scores a trio of armdrag takedowns, locks in an armbar, Stasiak to feet, sends Sean to ropes, lays in forearms to face. Stasiak whips Sean off ropes, misses with a clothesline, Sean connects with a dropkick, both men down and up quickly. Sean off ropes, goes over Stasiak, off ropes again, Stasiak up, scores powerslam, Sean down for 2. Stasiak brings Sean up, scores back suplex, snap suplex, Sean again down for 2. Stasiak slaps on another headlock, Sean slowly to feet, elbows out, goes off ropes, Stasiak sets for backdrop, Sean counters with sunset flip, rolls Stasiak up for 2. Sean ducks a clothesline, elbows Stasiak into corner, whips him to opposite, follows, scores powerslam, side suplex, snap suplex, Stasiak down for 2. Up, Stasiak to ropes, Sean scores kick to gut, tries for whip, reversed, Sean off ropes, ducks a clothesline, connects with a pair of knockdown dropkicks, Stasiak up slowly, Sean brings him up, scores ‘Cruel Intentions’ (Death Valley Driver variation), Stasiak down for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Sean O’Haire.

Sadly, during the match Stasiak reverted occasionally to his ‘chatting with the ceiling’ goofiness. Break.

Extreme Blast of the Night: Last week on Raw, Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam got extreme on Brock Lesnar and his agent Paul Heyman, highlighted by him hitting the latter with a new version of the Van Terminator.

Coach and D’Lo recap last weeks Raw Main Event-a 10-man tag, pitting Booker T, Goldust, RVD, Spike Dudley and Bubba Ray Dudley against X-Pac, The Big Show, Kevin Nash, Chris Benoit and Eddy Guerrero, who were accompanied by Shawn Michaels. . In a nutshell, match was going along OK until Shawn started interfering. RVD took offense and chased HBK up the ramp. Brock Lesnar appeared from behind the curtain and attacked Rob, laying him out with the F-5. Back in the ring, Kevin Nash finally got into the action-and quickly injured his leg. End saw Shawn return to hit Booker with a superkick. Show then chokeslammed Booker, made the cover, got the 1-2-3.

Coach and D’Lo again stress how important an addition HHH would be to the n.W.o. Break.

(During the break, commercial airs hyping the WWE debut of Rey Misterio Jr. Looks like he’ll be making his first appearance on the Smackdown after Vengeance.)

Back, Crash Holly hits the ring-he’ll be guest ref for our next bout…

3rd Match; For the Women’s Championship: Jacqueline vs. champ Molly Holly.

Good heat for Molly, decent pop for Jacqueline. Circle, lockup, Jacqueline works a single leg takedown into a roll up for a quick 2. Up, another lockup, Jacqueline slaps on a side headlock, Molly elbows out, Jacqueline goes off ropes, sends Molly down with a shoulder. Jacqueline off ropes, over Molly, off again, Molly up, Jacqueline blocks a hiptoss, scores a pair of her own (hiptosses that is), Molly up, gets forearmed back down. Molly up, sent down at ropes by another forearm, Jacqueline approaches, Molly trips her up, sends her face first into top rope, Jacqueline down. Molly gets in a boot, drops a pair of elbows, brings Jacqueline up, scores neckbreaker, Jacqueline down for 2. Up, Molly connects with a forearm to face, tries for whip, Jacqueline goes off ropes, scores a body scissors into a roll up, Molly down for 2. Up, Molly shoulders Jacqueline down, applies face rake, Crash warns her off. Molly sets Jacqueline on ropes for another choke, again warned off. Molly brings Jacqueline up, scores backbreaker, Jacqueline down for 2. Up, Jacqueline connects with flurry of punches, Molly counters with a kneelift and a hair pull slam, Jacqueline again down. Molly brings her up, another hair pull slam (slightly less flagrant) sends Jacqueline back to canvas. Up, Molly scores a snapmare, just gets 2. Up, Molly lays in forearms, tries for whip, Jacqueline puts on brakes, scores buttbreaker (modified atomic drop), Molly skips around in obvious pain. Jacqueline gets in a pair of forearm knockdowns, brings Molly to corner, scores rolling fireman's carry takedown. Molly down, Jacqueline scores senton splash (that’s what D’Lo called it, looked to me like the good ol’ butt drop to gut). Up, Jacqueline gets in series of kicks, Molly goes down for 2. Jacqueline goes up top, Molly gets to feet, Jacqueline scores flying cross body-on Crash. Crash holds her down (little perv) as Molly retrieves her belt from ringside. Molly scores belt shot to back of Jacqueline’s head, she’s out, Molly makes the cover, Crash counts the 1-2-3.

Winner and Still Women’s Champion: Molly Holly.

Coach and D’Lo seem to feel nepotism may have affected the conclusion of the match. Break.

Back, Coach and D’Lo recap the return of The Rock last week on Smackdown. He and Kurt Angle had a verbal altercation in the ring, which led to Kurt challenging The People’s Champion to go one on one on next weeks show. Rock was ready to go then and there, Kurt seemed happy to wait until next week, Rock wasn’t, he attacked and quickly put Kurt in the ankle lock. Undisputed Champion The Undertaker hit the ring and treated both to chokeslams.

Later in the night, ‘Taker and John Cena defeated Kurt and Chris Jericho in a tag match. Immediately after Kurt tapped to ‘Taker’s Dragon Sleeper, Rocky ran down and hit both with Rock Bottoms.

Coach and D’Lo remind us that Kurt, Rocky and ‘Taker will be involved in a Triple Threat match at the upcoming Vengeance PPV-‘Taker’s belt will be on the line. Break.

Slam of the Week: Jeff Hardy defeats William Regal last week to become our new European Champion. Post-match, William cries.

On to our Main Event…

4th Match: Matt Hardy vs. The Big Show (without n.W.o. backup).

Decent heat for Show, big pop for Matt. Pre-match, Show seems pretty pissed at a fans ‘Pig Show’ sign. Bell rings, lock up, Show immediately shoves Matt to corner. Matt tosses his shirt at Show, lays in forearms to little effect, Show tosses him into corner, Matt ducks under a clothesline, continues throwing ineffectual forearms. Show tosses Matt back into corner, goes for big boot, Matt ducks under, Show gets entangled in ropes, Matt gets in a quick kick to Shows left leg, disentangling him. Matt tries for whip (dummy), Show holds ropes, clotheslines Matt to canvas. Show brings Matt up, gets in a head butt, Matt staggers to corner, Show follows, lays in chop, brings Matt out and up, delayed vertical suplex sends Matt back down. Show goes off ropes, drops the elbow, Matt rolls clear, Show down. Both men up, Matt tries for Side Effect, nosirree, Show brings him up, Matt rolls over, scores low dropkick to left leg. Matt goes off ropes, Show scores powerslam, just gets 2. Show brings Matt up, whips him off ropes, cinches in bearhug. Matt forearms out, goes off ropes, Show gets a boot up to Matt’s face, yep he’s down again. Show brings Matt up, whips him into corner, Show  approaches, Matt slows him down with double boots to face. Show makes it to corner, Matt goes to second rope, modified Side Effect sends Show down for 2. Up, Matt scores boot to gut, tries to set for Twist of Fate, Show easily shoves him off. Matt to ropes, Show charges, Matt pulls down ropes, Show goes over top to the outside. Show to feet, Matt goes up top, moonsault sends Show down outside. Matt to feet, lays in forearms to back, Show shoves him aside, re-enters ring. Matt again goes up top, flies, Show grabs his neck as he lands, hits the chokeslam, Matt down for the 1-2-3.

Winner: The Big Show.

Coach and D’Lo finish up by hyping Rock/Angle for Smackdown and next Sundays Vengeance PPV-interestingly, not a word about tomorrow night's Raw. End of show.

Meat and potatoes this week-Stasiak/O’Haire gets my pick for match of the night. I’m really hoping D’Lo cuts down on his ‘Ruthless Aggression’ references, they were all over the place. Bit more recap than usual-hey, does ANYBODY out there care about the n.W.o. at this point?

2002 - WWE ran Bethlehem, PA.  John Geier filed the following live report:

I attended WWE's House Show Tonight in Bethlehem, PA , at the Stabler Arena.  The crowd was very small, about 2,000-3,000 (Stabler holds aprx. 6,000) I was sitting about 4 rows up from the ground, dead center (and on my side there were only 3 rows on the ground). It was another one of those brainwashed crowds that only cheered for the faces, with the Undertaker being the only "heel" they cheered.

We started off with the Fink giving us the usual BS. You know, the don't throw things etc. speech.

Match 1:
Tommy Dreamer VS William Regal
Regal came out first to big heat, possibly the biggest heat of the night. Dreamer was out next to a decent response. A decent ECW chant broke out once his music stopped. Dreamer brought a short young kid in the ring (?) Regal asked if this was an ECW reunion saying the kid must be Tazz, which got a good laugh from the crowd and Dreamer.  Match starts and Regal stalls. Not much to remember, Dreamer hits a DDT for the near fall and Regal comes back with a messed up version of that neckbreaker where he puts the opponents arm around their neck, 1-2-3. Post match, I get a good TOMMY chant going.

Match 2:
Women's Title
Molly Holly VS Trish
They did their thing with Molly taking control early. An exchange of chops was next. Trish went for her finisher and was pushed off, followed not to long after by a pin by Molly with her feet on the bottom rope.

Match 3:
Tag Team Action
Dudleys VS Eddie Guerrero & Chris Benoit
Benoit and Guerrero came out first to some decent heat. As I looked around, I seemed to be the only one in the building on their feet giving Eddie and Chris a big hand, sadly it seems like everyone was here for entertainment and were not fans of the Wrestling part, oh well. Spike and Buh-Buh-Buh-Buh sorry Buh Buh Ray Dudley were out next to a big pop.  We started with Eddie taking control of Spike with a great series of moves, which again I was the only one cheering for (sad). Basically Benoit and Eddie worked on Spike while Buh Buh waited for the hot tag. Buh Buh got the tag but the ref didn't see it. Continues work on Spike as he got some shots in and finally got the tag. Buh Buh came in and was a "House Of Fire". The crowd kept chanting for a table, and it seemed like I was the only one that knew we wouldn't see one. Action breaks to the outside while back in the ring The Crippler makes (I'm pretty sure it was Buh Buh) tap to the crossface.

Match 4:
"Hardcore" Title on the line here (Ha)
Bradshaw VS Shawn Stasiak
Stasiak came out first to heat, and I let him know how I felt about the whole Natural Born Thillas thing in WCW, and Meat in WWF. Bradshaw out next to Boos from me and 3 others and a decent pop from the other 2, 997.  Not much going on here as they didn't seem to have it together. Bradshaw didn't look happy when I yelled out what he going to do with the thinner rope he brought out with him. Bradshaw nails Shawn with a cowbell, trash can, trash can lid. Shawn nails Bradshaw with a cowbell, trash can, trash can lid. You get the picture. Then Bradshaw ties up Stasiak with the rope, just like I told him he was gonna. Justin Credible makes his way to the ring, as I explain to someone how he went from a masked jobber to ECW champ, to this. He wins another title?! Well for 5 seconds. Credible hits a super kick on Bradshaw and pins him, then is pinned by Stasiak, and then in the surprise of the night Bradshaw hits the Lariat from Heck for the title and a crowd pop.

Match 5:
Undisputed Title
Undertaker VS Ric Flair
Ric Flair makes his way to the ring with in my mind the most classic music in wrestling. Big pop, Myself and the rest of the crowd agree on who to cheer for! Taker out next to another big pop. Is this guy a heel or face? I don't care and let him know.  Match starts.....well the bell rings. Taker stalls for what seriously had to be around more than 5 minutes. The crowd can't take it anymore and they lock up, then Taker leaves the ring again. Booing starts. Finally they start to do their thing. Flair hits chops to some big WHOOOO's. Flair goes up top, and is about to get the old super-slam, but the Taker decides to go for a superplex and hits. Flair comes back and works the leg and locks on the Figure Four a little too early for my taste. Taker gets out, battles back and hits another classically low chokeslam for the 1-2-3. No last ride? Damn.

It's Intermission Time! The Fink shills the shirts and sh*t, worse than Dok Hendrix used to on Mania. (Anyone remember that?)

Match 6:
Goldust VS Christopher Nowinski
Not much of a response for either, with Nowinski out first. I was kind of surprised Goldust got such a crappy response.  They do some wrestling holds which gets a boring chant started out of those entertainment fans in the crowd. To be truthful this one was kind of boring and I can't remember who won as I was talking to my Brother. Sorry.

Match 7:
D-Lo Brown VS Steven Richards
Dancin' Stevie Richards is out first and I make sure he knows I remember his early ECW days. Crowd doesn't seem to get it. No one even remembers the BWO? I thought that was recent enough, oh well. D-Lo comes out to a fair pop.  Man was the crowd dead for this one, even with D-Lo yelling some funny lines to Richards. D-Lo hits that Bodyslam position into a sitdown Rock Bottom for the near fall. Finally he hits the Sky-High and gets the pinfall.

Match 8:
Raven VS Matt Hardy
Raven out first. Me and about 30 others pop for the guy (sad). Matt Hardy out next to a big pop.  Match starts along with a "Lita" chant? Some good back and forth action from these two. A guy yells "Matt sucks", from far back and some people look back in anger?! I do the same and some actually look at me the same way? I ask them what the problem is. Come on Bethlehem. Back to the action, Matt goes for the Twist of Fate and is reversed. Raven hits a DDT, 1-2-......kick out.  Matt battles back and hits that 2nd rope legdrop for a nearfall. Raven hits the Twist of Fate! Then he pulls Matt into the corner. What is he gonna do? Well he gets caught at the top and then sometime later he gets hit with the Twist of Fate for a Matt Hardy win.

Match 9:
Booker T VS The Big Show
Big Show comes out to a good pop?! Not sure what to say. Booker T comes out to one a shade bigger.  The Show takes over early with some big punches and kicks. He continues to work over Booker. The crowd isn't really into at this point. Booker T stops the Show and hits a Bodyslam! The crowd comes alive, in what might of been the biggest pop of the Night. The Book hits all his Kicks and the Show is out on the mat for the 1-2-3.  Post match everyone shows their love for Booker and he does 2 Spin-a-roonis.

Match 10:
Main Event- IC Title
Rob Van Damn VS Brock Lesnar
Lesnar is out first, Paul E-less. Paul E not being there wasn't announced at all. I later read he was "Barred" from the building on WWE.com. Good pop suprisingly , because I've been hearing he isn't getting much of one. RVD out to a great pop.  Lesnar controls the beginning. Van Dam fights back and throws Lesnar outside and hits a crossbody. Back inside Lesnar takes over again, then takes RVD outside and works him over using the rail and floor. RVD fights back and as it seems he is going to get the win the Ref takes a fall. Lesnar helps the Ref up and the Ref calls for the bell and raises the hand of RVD in an apparent DQ finish. BS, and I head towards the parking lot.

Pretty much a decent show. The crowd was low as I mentioned before. The show started at 7pm and ended at around 9:30 with an intermission. Not even 3 hours for the $40 each tickets. I complain but if/when they come back I'll probably be there.

2004 - NWA:TNA broadcast their weekly Wednesday PPV from Nashville, TN.  Buck Woodward filed the following PPV report:

- Michael Shane defeated X Division Champion AJ Styles when Styles hit the steel barrier while doing a dive.  Styles hurt his knee, and after referees and officials came down, it was decided that the match would be stopped and awarded to Michael Shane.

- David Young, Glenn Gilberti and Swinger attacked referee Mike Posey, but Shark Boy and D-Ray 3000 made the save.

- Abyss & Alex Shelley defeated Sabu & Sonday Dutt when Shelley pinned Dutt.  After the match, the lights went out.  Raven's voice came over the arena, saying that The Sheik was dead, and showing a "Sheik" mannequin.  Abyss then powerbombed a distracted Sabu through a table.

- Christopher Daniels, Elix Skipper, Chris Sabin & Amazing Red defeated Team Canada in an eight-man match, when Daniels & Skipper hit a neckbreaker/powerbomb on Johnny Devine.

- Dusty Rhodes, Larry Zbyszko, Ron Killings, BG James & Konnan defeated Jeff Jarrett, Ken Shamrock, Hotstuff Hernandez, Chad Collyer & Onyx in a "Guitar On A Pole" match when Rhodes pinned Onyx after hitting him with the guitar.

- Frankie Kazarian defeated X Division Champion AJ Styles. Originally, Jerry Lynn came down to sub for Styles, but Styles came down with his knee bandaged and wrestled the match.  Styles was pinned after Michael Shane interfered and chopblocked Styles' knee.  As a result of his losses, Shane and Kazarian will get X Division Title matches.

- America's Most Wanted defeated The Naturals in a Double Ladder Match to earn an NWA World Tag Team Title match.  As a result, AMW will face the Naturals next week in the first-ever six-sided steel cage match for the titles.

- It was announced that Jeff Hardy would be on the show next week, and they teased whether he would sign a contract or not.

2005 - WWE broadcast Smackdown.  Buck Woodward filed the following TV Report:

Smackdown for July 14th opened with a recap of how World Champion Batista cost JBL his match with the Blue Meanie last week.

Eddie Guerrero came to the ring and talked about Rey Mysterio not being at Smackdown this week.  Guerrero said that Mysterio thought by "not coming to work" he could avoid being humiliated. Guerrero started to talk about Rey's "secret", which Rey doesn't want his son Dominic to know.  Guerrero had them roll footage of Rey begging Eddie not to reveal the secret from two weeks ago, and being ordered around by Eddie in order to keep the secret from being revealed from last week.  Back in the ring, Eddie started getting angry over Mysterio not being there. Eddie said he would reveal the secret now, and the crowd booed. Eddie said he was going to tell Dominic a "bedtime story" and had the ring announcer give him a chair so he could "get comfortable".  Eddie sat down, and joked that Rey was covering his son's ears. Eddie sat down and was about to tell the story, when Eddie's wife Vicki and his two daughters appeared in the aisle. Eddie told them to go to the back, but the wouldn't leave.  Eddie and her began to argue, off mic, and then Eddie yelled at her to go to the back, but Vicki grabbed the microphone from him. Vicki said she had to come out and calm him down. Vicki said it was getting out of control, and that Eddie needed to keep whatever the secret was to himself.  Vicki tried to reason with Eddie, but when she said "Rey is a good man", Eddie grabbed the mic from her, and forcefully turned her around.  Eddie walked his wife, with their kids in front of them, threw the curtain as they went to commercial.

Back from the break, Eddie and Vicki were arguing backstage, with Eddie saying Vicki was interfering with his job. They argued all the way to the car, and Hardcore Holly tried to calm Guerrero down.  Guerrero acted calm, then shoved Holly.  Eddie ordered his wife to get into the car, and Vicki told Eddie he was acting "disgraceful".  Holly shoved Guerrero into the car door, and apparently walked off.  Guerrero apologized to his kids, but then yelled for his wife to leave.  Vicki drove off, and Eddie's expression grew angry.

The Mexicools (Juventud, Super Crazy & Psicosis) vs. Paul London, Funaki & Scotty 2 Hotty.  There was a slight "Lucha Libre" chant at the start.  Super Crazy started off with Funaki, with Funaki grabbing a headscissors, then hiptossing Psicosis as he tagged in.  Scotty tagged in, and he and Funaki decked Psicosis.  Super Crazy kicked Scotty from the apron, but Scotty superkicked him to the floor.  Juventud ran in and tossed Scotty shoulder-first into the ringpost.  Juventud tagged in and started working on Scotty's arm. Scotty battled out and went for a sunset flip, but Juventud rolled through it and hit a dropkick, then returned to the armbar.  Psicosis tagged in,  and Scotty was given a double drop toe hold and a sandwich dropkick to the head.  Scotty was worked over in the Mexicool corner, but Scotty came back with a forearm on Juventud while Funaki pulled Crazy to the floor to start brawling with him.  Crazy rammed Funaki into the security wall.  Scotty made the hot tag to London, who cleaned house on Juventud with clotheslines and a backdrop, then hit a dropsault.  London hit Crazy and Psicosis with spinkicks, then exchanged chops with Juventud.  London hit Juventud with a belly to belly suplex, and set up for the 450 off the top.  Psicosis went to stop him and ended up fighting with Scotty.  Crazy pulled London throat first across the top rope, then hit a moonsault on him.  Juventud pulled London towards the corner, and then hit a 450 splash (more of a 450 kneedrop) for the pin at the six minute mark. Winners: The Mexicools.

Officials checked on London after the match.

Matches for later tonight were announced, with Orlando Jordan vs. Batista, Christian vs. Booker T, and "just signed" Eddie Guerrero vs. Hardcore Holly.

Backstage, recent Smackdown arrivals Christian and Candice Michelle were chatting, with Christian offering to give Candice advice since the locker room looks up to him.  Booker T entered and said Christian hasn't changed, still bragging and not backing it up.  Booker said if Christian wanted respect on Smackdown, it had to be earned in the ring.  Candice laughed behind Christian's back as Booker verbally undressed him.

Josh Mathews interviewed World Champion Batista backstage, and they showed the footage of Batista costing JBL his match with the Blue Meanie again. Batista said he watched Smackdown every week, and that JBL was just a "loudmouth and a bully".  Batista said you take care of bullies by "punking them out" and "beating them up".  Batista said he punked out JBL, and at the Great American Bash he would beat him up.

MNM were backstage, when Melina said she had business to take care of, and sent Joey Mercury & Johnny Nitro ahead to the ring.  Melina went up to Torrie Wilson, who was signing an autograph, and informed Torrie that she had competition now. Torrie said they can take it to the ring.  Melina said they could do it at the Great American Bash.  Torrie challenged to make it a Bra & Panties match.  Melina said when she was done with Torrie, no one will remember her name and shoved her before walking off.

Heidenreich came to the ring, but was ambushed by MNM.  They rammed him into the security wall and tossed him into the ring. They continued to pound him, and rammed him shoulder first into the ringpost.  Melina got on the mic, and screamed that Heidenreich "has no friends".  She ordered MNM to finish him off, and they measured him for the Snapshot. Suddenly, "Ohhhh, what a rush" rang out, and the Legion Of Doom music played as Road Warrior Animal came out.

Animal beat down MNM, giving Mercury a powerslam and Nitro a running shoulderblock.  Animal clotheslined Mercury for the ring, and then tossed Nitro on top of him. There was an "LOD" chant as MNM left through the crowd. Animal got on the mic, and said fans have been telling him that MNM is claiming to be the greatest tag team ever.  Animal said they were "baby punks". Mercury said Animal (calling him "old man") could relive his past glory with a title shot at the Great American Bash, MNM vs. the Road Warriors. Nitro reminded Mercury that his partner was dead. The crowd groaned at that. MNM laughed at Animal.  Animal went after them, but Heidenreich stopped him (actually, Heidenreich stopped him before he stared to go after them).  Heidenreich told Animal he was his friend, but Animal reminded him that this was the "big time" now. Heidenreich said he wasn't Hawk, but he would be his partner.  Animal agreed and said at the Great American Bash it would be Animal & Heidenreich vs. MNM, and it would be an "old fashioned Road Warrior butt kicking".

The Guerrero segment from earlier was recapped.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Hardcore Holly.  They locked up at the bell, and Guerrero slapped Holly on the break, so Holly slapped him back. Guerrero and Holly traded chops, with Holly getting the better of it.  Holly chopped Guerrero again and again, but Guerrero raked his eyes and fired off his own shots. The chopfest continued, until Eddie went to the floor to regroup as they went to break.

A disclaimer was shown saying "In light of recent world events, sensitivities have arisen regarding an ongoing storyline. Viewer discretion is advised in watching tonight's episode."

When the commercial ended, Holly hit a pair of armdrags and applied an armbar. Guerrero tripped Holly into the turnbuckles and stomped him down. Guerrero choked Holly against the bottom rope. Guerrero put Holly in a headscissors, but Holly turned it into an Electric Chair and slammed Guerrero to the mat.  Both men were slow to get up, and they traded punches. Holly hit a pair of lariats, then backdropped Guerrero and hit a dropkick for two. Holly went for a full nelson slam, but Guerrero went into a forward roll and cradled Holly for two.  Holly grabbed Guerrero and this time hit the full nelson slam for a two count.  Holly went to the top rope and hit a flying clothesline for a two count.  Holly whipped Guerrero into a corner, and Guerrero tried to leapfrog him, but Holly grabbed his legs for the Alabama Slam.  Guerrero grabbed the ropes to keep Holly from doing the move, so Holly kicked Guerrero in the gut instead.  Guerrero went to the floor, and Holly followed, hitting chops. Guerrero rammed Holly into the ringpost. Guerrero tried to get back in the ring, but Holly grabbed him from behind.  Guerrero "accidentally" poked the referee in the eye, then kicked off the apron, driving Holly back first into the announcers table.  Guerrero then rammed Holly into the ring apron.  Guerrero reached under the ring, grabbed a steel pipe and hit Holly in the knee with it. Guerrero then applied a Texas Cloverleaf in the ring for the submission win at the twelve minute mark.  Winner: Eddie Guerrero.

Guerrero got on the mic and apologized to his wife and kids, saying he would never do anything to hurt them. Guerrero told someone in the crowd to shut up while he made his apology to his wife, and cursed out another fan. Guerrero said he was going to prove his love to his wife.  Guerrero said he heard what his wife said about Rey, and was going to give Rey a chance to prove himself at the Great American Bash.  Guerrero said if Rey beats him at the Great American Bash, he will never tell the secret.  However, if Guerrero beats Rey, he will finish "the bedtime story to Dominic".  Guerrero said he was a man that keeps his promises.

Michael Cole and Tazz said that Muhammad Hassan & Daivari were not at Smackdown tonight, but the Undertaker was.  They said Hassan and Undertaker would wrestle at the Great American Bash in a number one contender's match, and that Hassan's lawyer would be reading a statement later.

A disclaimer was shown saying "In light of recent world events, sensitivities have arisen regarding an ongoing storyline. Viewer discretion is advised in watching tonight's episode."

A clip of Sting defeating Ric Flair for the WCW World Title at the 1990 Great American Bash was shown, sponsored by WWE 24/7.

Muhammad Hassan's lawyer came to the ring, and read a statement on Hassan's behalf.  The lawyer said Hassan was suffering from "emotional distress" and had chosen to take a "leave of absence" from Smackdown.  The lawyer talked about Hassan being an American, and how he had the same rights as anyone, including freedom of expression.  The lawyer said he was retained to protect Hassan's freedom of speech, and his rights.  The lawyer said Hassan would not appear on Smackdown until after he defeats The Undertaker at the Great American Bash. The lawyer was then interrupted by the lights going out, and The Undertaker made his entrance. The lawyer reminded Undertaker that he wasn't a wrestler, but Undertaker gave him a chokeslam anyway. Undertaker then finished him off with a tombstone piledriver and walked off.

Booker T, with Sharmell, vs. Christian.  Christian attacked Booker T in the aisle as he made his entrance, throwing him into the guardrails and then whipping him into the ringpost.  Christian rammed Booker T into the ring steps twice, and yelled at Booker about "embarrassing" him earlier. Christian rolled Booker into the ring, but referee Nick Patrick would not start the match while Booker was down. Patrick ordered Christian back to the corner.  Booker got to his feet, groggily, and the match began.  Christian grabbed Booker and hit the Unprettier for the win in about four seconds.  Winner: Christian.

A vignette for the "Boogeyman" was shown.

The Great American Bash card was reviewed.

World Champion Batista vs. U.S. Champion Orlando Jordan, with JBL.  No titles were on the line in this match. JBL got on the mic before Batista came out, and complained about Batista costing him the match with The Blue Meanie last week. JBL bragged about his long title reign, and talked about how at Wrestlemania, Batista chose to stay on Raw.  JBL said that the Great American Bash will have the main event that should have taken place at Wrestlemania. JBL proclaimed himself the "Wrestling God" again, as they went to break.

Back from commercial, Batista made his entrance. Batista eyed JBL as the match start, while pounding Jordan in the corner. Batista hit a shoulderblock, then clotheslined him over the top rope and to the floor. Batista held the ropes open and invited Jordan back in as he regrouped on the floor with JBL.  Back in the ring, Jordan fired off some punches, but Batista rammed him into the turnbuckles.  Jordan kicked away a backdrop attempt, and JBL tripped Batista from the floor.  Jordan dropkicked Batista out of the ring, and JBL rammed Batista into the ringsteps while the referee wasn't looking.  Jordan put Batista back in the ring and clipped his leg.  Jordan elbowdropped the leg and dropped his weight on it. Jordan worked on the leg, driving his knee into it, while Batista tried to punch him away.  Jordan wrapped the leg in the ropes, and when the referee made him back off, JBL pulled on the leg from the floor. JBL tripped Batista and whipped his leg into the ringpost.

Jordan stomped the leg repeatedly, and applied a leglace. Batista battled out and backdropped Jordan, but the ran into a boot.  Jordan charged Batista, who picked up Jordan, out him in a corner and hit some shoulderblocks.  Batista whipped Jordan into the opposite corner and hit a clothesline, then delivered a powerslam.  JBL got on the apron, but Batista punched him down.  Jordan charged Batista, and they ended up colliding with the referee. Batista gave Jordan a spinebuster.  JBL ran in with a chair and blasted Batista in the head with it.  JBL put Jordan on top of Batista, then used a bottle of water to revive the referee.  The referee counted, but Batista got a shoulder up at two.  JBL ran back in, but Batista clotheslined him.  Batista then clotheslined Jordan as well, and gave him a Batista Bomb for the pin at the seven minute mark.  Winner: Batista.

JBL clipped Batista's leg, then gave him the Clothesline From Hell.  JBL stood over the downed Batista, holding up the World Title belt, as the show ended.

2008 - WWE broadcast Monday Night Raw on the USA Network.  Richard Trionfo filed the following report:

The Great American Bash is less than a week away and the Raw brand has their final show before the Bash. Will Batista try to get into the head of the World Champion CM Punk before their match? What will Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels do tonight? Will Bradshaw try to get an edge on John Cena for their Parking Lot Brawl? Will Cena do any more paint jobs on cars? What did Kane mean last week when he asked if he was dead or alive? Will Michael Cole get attacked again?

2009 - Bobby Lashley signed with TNA, telling ESPN Radio, "I signed with TNA.  It's a big thing because I am fighting and my main focus has been fighting and it still is.  I left wrestling so abruptly a few years ago and the fans kind of threw their hands up.  I left and they were like, man, what about us?  I left at the top of my game.  I still wanted to wrestle but I wanted to fight, so it was like, how do you do both?  I spoke with Dixie Carter, the owner of TNA and she was really, really helpful and she wanted to give me an opportunity to help my career and an opportunity to give back to wrestling.  With their schedule, they only do four days a month.  This week, my schedule is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and I'm done for the month and can concentrate on my fighting.  It works out real well."

2010 - Longtime Florida independent staple Chasyn Rance, 27, who also appeared on VH-1's Tool Academy reality series, was arrested and charged with charged with lewd or lascivious battery for allegedly having sexual relations with a 15 year old girl several years ago in Orlando, according to an article in  The Orlando Sentinel.  The article claims that the mother of the girl (now 17) learned of the encounters after coming across the daughter's diary, where she admitted she was "feeling bad" about things that had happened while visiting her Father in Orlando. Upon learning of the circumstances, the mother contacted police in Florida and later brought the girl to the authorities.  Rance was arrested after he was taped over the course of several conversations with the girl, allegedly admitting they had slept together and that he was sorry if he "ever hurt her."  The article noted that the first encounter happened in Rance's home after the two had been drinking.
Rance was released on $3,500 bond.  The case is still ongoing.

2011 - Sting captured the TNA championship during a broadcast of TNA Impact Wrestling.  Stu Carapola filed the following TV report:

Welcome to the Impact Wrestling Report on PWInsider.com!

We open with a recap of the events of the last few weeks of Impact as Sting and Ken Anderson built to their World Title rematch on tonight's show. We then head out to the Impact Zone as Immortal comes out dressed in tuxes and surrounded by what appear to be local strippers they threw classy dresses on. Eric Bischoff says that Ken Anderson is now part of the Immortal family, and then introduces the World Champion as he makes his way to the ring in a tux that looks like something the Nasty Boys would have worn if they lost a hundred pounds or so. A card table is in the ring, and Bischoff says they're going to gamble with people's careers tonight. Hogan says Anderson's had a rocky road for the short time he's been in the business, but now he wants to formally welcome him into the Immortal family. Anderson says it was a gamble joining Immortal, but it's one he's willing to take as long as he stays the top card in the deck. The lights go out and come back up, and Sting is sitting at the card table. Bischoff loses his mind over Sting's insanity, and tonight Ken Anderson is going to take him out once and for all. Sting sees things coming out a whole lot different, and he sees himself becoming the World Champion once again and kicking off his crusade to bring the company back to its rightful owner, Dixie Carter. Hogan threatens to strip and teach Sting a lesson, but he guarantees that Sting's going all the way down and out of the building on a stretcher. Sting goes NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO because Hogan and Bischoff are on very thin ice with the Network, and he's going to leave here tonight with the World Title. Sting shows that he has a bunch of Aces on the poker table and tells Hogan not to blink tonight, and then points up to the rafters where a bunch of guys in black trenchcoats are wearing really lame scary clown masks. Sting says he's all in, flips the poker table over, and the lights go out. When they come back up...STING IS GONE.

The Bound For Glory resumes...right now!

Joe is losing his mind over losing yet again and gets into a shouting match with referee Earl Hebner until the other referees come out of the back to get between them and escort Hebner to the back.

Jeff and Karen Jarrett are back from Mexico, and they've...GOT SOMBREROS!

Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are in their office vaguely alluding to how cool it would be if Sting got laid out, as long as it didn't get back to Immortal. Bischoff yells at Abyss for failing to kill the X Division, and then the Jarretts come back in wearing sombreros and going "Arriba, arriba!" Immortal looks nonplussed, but then Jarrett reveals his "Dos J Championship" and brings out some margarita mix to celebrate.

Pope is backstage hanging out with Devon's kids, who say that they support the Pope and he's still pimpin'. Devon comes in and reminds his kids that he said to stay away from Pope, and tells Pope again to stay away from his boys. Devon tells Pope to get it through his head that those are his boys, and he'll be damned if Pope does to the boys what he's done to everyone else because he doesn't trust Pope. Pope says he gave Devon seven points last week, and Devon says he doesn't give a damn because that was Pope's own stupidity. Pope says to have it his way, but not to blame him when Devon's sons turn their backs on him because of his paranoia.

After a video package recapping the events of Destination X, we head back to the ring for our next match...

Shannon Moore vs Austin Aries

Moore gets a series of armdrags to start the match, but Aries backs off and gets a boot to the gut, then takes Moore to the mat and outwrestles him. Moore loses his composure, but comes back to the middle of the ring and trips Aries, then hits an inverted atomiuc drop and a leg lariat for 1. Alex Shelley comes out to the ring and grabs the chain, and he confronts Aries about using the chain to get the win, but Aries denies everything and heads up the ramp.

Abyss is backstage saying Hogan and Bischoff are disgruntled with him, and Kendrick has something that belongs to him. One of the clown guys comes up behind Abyss as he's talking, and when Abyss turns to leave, the clown guy cracks him in the ribs with a baseball bat and leaves him laying.

Shannon Moore is backstage whining about getting beat, and Alex Shelley says Aries isn't so great if he has to cheat. Austin Aries is somewhere else backstage and says that this is a show and he's here to entertain, and nobody here's going to beat him.

We see a video package of the Tara-Madison Rayne feud, then we get backstage comments from both ladies. Tara got Madison a present, and wants to be friends with her, but Madison will have to wait until after the match to get it.

We get a video package hyping Bound For Glory on October 16th, then we go backstage where Scott Steiner is trying to get So Cal Val to come to his hotel room until another clown guy comes out of nowhere and beats the crap out of him with a baseball bat.

Madison Rayne vs Tara

Madison wants Tara to lay down so Madison can cover her and be done with it, but Tara refuses to lay down so Madison slaps her in the face. Tara responds by taking Madison off her feet with a pair of slaps, a shoulder tackle, then the standing moonsault. She passes up going for the pin, and that leaves an opening so Madison can hit a chinbreaker and start shrieking at Tara. Madison goes for the cutthroat neckbreaker, but Tara slips out and hits a spinning side suplex. Tara passes up the cover again and goes for a piledriver, but Madison backdrops her and hits a running pung to the chest. Madison whips Tara to the corner, Tara tries getting the boots up but Madison catches the boots and dumps Tara to the floor where she whips her into the ring steps. Madison comes back into the ring and grabs Tara's box, but when she opens it she finds Poison, Tara's tarantula. She gives the usual girly response to those sortjs of things, and Tara is able to sneak up from behind and hit the Widow's Peak for the win.

Tara takes Poison out of the cage and chases Madison out of the ring with it and all the way to the back. IT's like a modern day chick version of Jake Roberts.

Kurt Angle is backstage, and he's...WALKING!

The British Invasion are backstage making me question their sanity by talking about what a great idea it was to bring Rob Terry back on board, then get back to the matters of regaining the World Tag Team Title and snazzy ring jackets.

Kurt Angle comes out to the ring to announce that he'll get his shot at the World Title at Hardcore Justice, and says that who he challenges will be based on the outcome of tonight's Sting-Anderson match. Angle says he'd prefer to face Anderson due to their history, and whether he wins or loses, Angle's coming after Anderson and will hurt him. He also has a lot of history with Sting going back to the Main Event Mafia days, and reminds everyone that he's never beaten Sting, which pisses him off and makes him want to beat Sting more. He's going to be an innocent bystander tonight, but he's walking out of Hardcore Justice with the World Title.

We head out to the parking lot where the Jarretts are trying to get out of Dodge because of what's happening to the rest of Immortal, and one of the clown guys is waiting for the Jarretts in their SUV so he can lay Jarrett out with a bat and drag him off into the darkness as a screaming Karen Jarrett runs for her life.

Back to the ring...

Hernandez dumps Williams onto the ring ropes and Anarquia boots him to the floor where Hernandez is able to attack him behind the referee's back. Williams makes it back into the ring where Anarquia rams him hard into the corner and then he and Hernandez give Williams a Beverly Drop. Williams fights his way out of the corner and takes Hernandez out with a European uppercut off the second rope and makes the hot tag to Brutus Magnus. Magnus comes in with a big boot and flying back elbow to Anarquia and then nearly decapitates Hernandez with a running clothesline, then hits a Michinoku Driver on Anarquia for 2. Williams with a high knee and Magnus with a second rope elbowdrop gets 2, then Williams dumps Hernandez back to the floor as the Invasion hit the assisted leaping European uppercut. Eric Bischoff is backstage telling Gunner and Bully Ray that they're his last line of defense, and Gunner says screw it, let's go find these guys. Ray tells him to go ahead and he'll be right behind him, then stays in the room and lets Gunner go out by himself.
