John Cena was interviewed by USA Today about his upcoming films, noting that he's at a point where he can use his WWE work to fulfill one aspect of what he wants to do and pursue "being an adult" with some of the acting work he's been able to do lately. You can read the interview at this link. As I've written about here on PWInsider.com, Cena's adult turn in the Judd Apatow "Trainwreck" film is expected to turn a lot of heads with it's sexual content.

Local advertising for the 5/25 WWE event at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island listed the event as the final WWE show there. WWE has been running the Coliseum, which is about to be shut down for renovations, since it opened. Wrestlemania 2's NYC portion was held there and the venue was the site of Brock Lesnar winning the WWE title for the first time, defeating The Rock at the excellent Summerslam 2002.

Dolph Ziggler attended the Comedy Central Justin Bieber Roast taping over the weekend.

Uhaa Nation is finishing up his independent appearances and has come to terms for a WWE NXT deal.

WWE has signed Australian talent Chris Atkins, according to News.au.com. Atkins has some independent experience Down Under and had been living in Los Angeles pursuing bodybuilding when he was signed, according to the article.

WWE has also signed Canadian female talent Jasmin Areebi. She was trained by former WWE developmental talent Shantelle Taylor and has worked all over the Eastern Seaboard and Mid-West, including NWECW and AIW, among other promotions.

WWE will run White Plains, NY at the Westchester County Center on 5/24.
