FIP ACENSION 2015 REPORT: CHAMPION STRIPPED OF TITLE DUE TO INJURY; WHO IS THE NEW CHAMPION?; TUXEDO VERSUS TITLE FOR FLORIDA HERITAGE TITLE; A NEW ATTITUDE FOR TEAM LUCHA?; AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2015-02-20 23:28:57
Welcome to PWInsider.com’s coverage of Full Impact Pro Wrestling Ascension 2015 from the Orpheum in Ybor City, Florida.

Rob Naylor and Heather Lynn are in the ring and they announce that Pierre Abernathy of the Submission Squad is not at the show so Gary Jay will be doing double duty tonight. MSL has pulled Mason Ryan from the show and he will make an announcement later tonight.

Mister Saint Laurent makes his way to the ring with Martin Stone, Monster Tarver, Josh Hess, and Deimos.

MSL takes the mic from Rob and he says that you have heard that he has pulled Mason Ryan tonight because Mason is in Japan. He says that he would pull his guys off the shows one by one until he got what he wanted. He wanted only one thing. That is a shot at the FIP World Championship. It is not about ego, it is about leverage. When the title was defended in China, a country with 1.3 billion people, it became the one true World Heavyweight Championship. Until they get the title, they are a joke.

Why are we here? Why are there wrestlers in the back? Unless you are the champion, you are wasting their time. He has reached a settlement with FIP. They will not pull their men. At a show of his choosing, a man of his choosing will get a World Title Match. Before the year is done, they will have the title and all of the power. There is nothing that you can do about it.

If you thought he was a pain in the ass before, wait until he gets the title. There will be no stopping them.

FIP World Heavyweight Champion, Rich Swann makes his way to the ring. Swann takes a mic and he tells MSL that he thinks the people have heard enough so he wants MSL to shut his mouth. You talk about one of your guys getting a shot at his belt? It could be any of you guys because he has fought so damn long to get it, he will face anyone.

He doesn’t care if it is Mr. Stone, Mr. Deimos, Mr. Hess, or Michael Tarver. He is standing right here, so if you really want a shot, prove something to him.

Swann puts down the title belt and he is ready to take on everyone in the MSL Universe. Swann punches Hess but Stone and Tarver work over Swann and Hess joins in while Deimos watches. Stone and Tarver send Swann to Deimos who hits a spinebuster.
