1967 - Former WWE champion Eddie Guerrero is born.
1980 - Jack Brisco defeats Terry Funk in a tournament final for the Georgia National Heavyweight Title.
2000 - In Sydney, Australia, Cpl. Cajun (Lash LeRoux) & Lt. Loco (Chavo Guerrero Jr.) defeat Mark Jindrak & Sean O'Haire for the WCW Tag Team Title, only to lose it right back to Jindrak & O'Haire before the end of the night.
2001 - Billy Kidman defeats X-Pac for the WCW Cruiserweight Title (which was now owned by WWF) in Moline, Illinois, ending X-Pac's second run with the title and beginning Kidman's fifth title reign.
2002 - At the TNA Pay-per-view in Nashville, Tennessee, Syxx-Pac defeats AJ Styles, Kid Kash, Ace Steel, Jose & Joel Maximo, and Tony Mamaluke in a Ladder Match to win the vacant X-Division Title. Syxx-Pac wasn't even involved in the majority of the match. As AJ Styles was about to win the bout, he ran down, suplexed Styles off the ladder, and grabbed the belt. Since the rules stated whoever grabbed the belt first was the champion, Syxx-Pac won the championship.
2006 - Kurt Angle made his debut appearance at TNA's Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. During a taping of Impact, Samoa Joe was informed that if he didn't relinquish the NWA championship belt he had stolen, he would be removed from the roster. In an in-ring segment, Joe refused and ripped up the papers informing him. The lights went out and Kurt Angle hit the ring and got in Joe's face. He headbutted Joe and hit the Angle Slam. Angle held up the belt but Joe hit an enziguiri from behind. Joe cinched a choke on Angle and security tried to break them up. During all this, Jeff Jarrett came out retrieved his belt. After Joe was removed from the ring, Angle took the house mic and stated that he wasn't fired (from WWE), he asked Vince McMahon for his release. He said he was back to wrestling and McMahon could kiss his "Olympic Ass."
2008 - TNA broadcast Impact. Richard Trionfo filed the following TV report:
We start off tonight’s show with Jeff Jarrett in his office with Jeremy Borash and Jeremy with a monologue to remind us of Jarrett’s recent activity. Jarrett says that he has not been in the ring for two years while Angle wrestles all around the world. Jeff says that he does not have any regrets. Jeff says that he is going to leave it all in the ring. Jeremy notices Kurt’s gold medal and Jeff says that he has big plans for it.
Time for a video package to set up the Jarrett/Angle match as well as the ‘TNA home grown/ROH versus We were in the WWE and WCW’ feud build up.
We are live from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and your announcers are Mike ‘Happy Yom Kippur’ Tenay and Don ‘Who wants some P.F. Chang’s after the show’ West.
Christian Cage comes to the ring. Christian says that all he has been hearing is that he needs to pick a side between the veterans and the up and comers. Christian says that he is the champ and he will pick a side when he wants to pick a side. Maybe he doesn’t want to pick a side. Maybe he does not need to pick a side.
Time for suckas and accents as Booker T and Sharmell come out. Booker says dat he didn’t want to cause any trouble, he wanted to reason with Christian to persuade him. They go way back and had many many fights. Dey should be on de same page because dey are from the same school. Christian took A.J. Styles and took him to a new level and where he is today. Booker tries to tell Christian that A.J. is trying to take his spotlight.
A.J. Styles comes out to tell Christian to see what Booker is trying to do. A.J. says that he thought Christian was the master manipulator, but it is Booker who is pulling his strings. A.J. turns his attention to Booker and asks if it is about respect or the spotlight. A.J. asks Booker what it is like in his country. A.J. cuts off Booker and tells him that he is sick of Booker’s silly accent.
Booker tells A.J. that he does not know who he is messing with. A.J. says that he is messing with a washed up has been who better get out of his face. Booker asks Christian why he is going to talk to him like that.
Jim Cornette comes out. He says that everyone is throwing out insults, but nobody is backing it up. Cornette says that there is room for one more match. Booker will face A.J. Styles tonight. Cornette thinks Christian feels left out so Christian will be the special referee.
TO THE BACK EARLIER TODAY where Jeremy Borash is with Sting. Jeremy gives us the history of the feud and then he asks Sting if the match will change the face of TNA. Sting says that the match on Sunday will be his biggest match ever. It isn’t just about the TNA title. It isn’t about the glory and applause. His reputation is on the line. He is not just representing Sting or the veteran wrestlers. He is representing anyone who has been disrespected. Sting says that he is going to take a stand. Jeremy asks Sting what will happen if he is not victorious and Sting says that is not an option.

Match Number One: Kip James with Angelina Love and Velvet Sky versus Rhino in a No Disqualification Match
Rhino goes out after Kip and sends him into the guardrails and apron. Rhino raises his arms before going under the ring for a table. Kip punches Rhino who waits too long to do anything with the table. Kip with an Irish whip into the rails while Angelina and Velvet hug at ringside. Rhino sends Kip into the ring steps. Kip with a kick to the head as Rhino re-enters the ring. Kip with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Rhino with elbows but Kip with a knee. Kip distracts the referee and that allows Angelina and Velvet to choke Rhino in the ropes. Kip with a rear chin lock. Kip pulls Rhino down by the hair and then Kip calls for tables . . . I mean the paper bag. Rhino blocks the paper bag and then Rhino hits a flying clothesline. Rhino with a shoulder in the corner followed by a clothesline. Rhino goes outside for the table and he brings it into the ring. Rhino sets up the table in the corner but Kip punches Rhino. Rhino with a belly-to-belly suplex and then he sets for the GORE and Kip moves out of the way. Rhino stops short. Angelina grabs Rhino and Velvet sprays Rhino in the face. Kip hits a spear through the table and he gets the three count.
Winner: Kip James
After the match, ODB and Rhaka Khan come to the ring and they have chairs so Angelina, Velvet, and eventually Kip leave the ring.

We are back and Jeremy Borash sees Kurt walk in the Impact Zone. Jeremy tells Kurt that he saw Jeff and his medal. Kurt wants to know what Jeff is up to. Angle says that Jeff is like his old man. Angle says that he is not going to get suckered in and he is going to let Jeff make the first move.
Match Number Two: Petey Williams versus Consequences Creed versus Sonjay Dutt with So Cal Val versus Jay Lethal in a Number One Contenders Match
Lethal goes after Dutt and Dutt goes outside and kisses Val. Lethal with a suicide dive. Williams with a reverse atomic drop to Creed but Creed with a rolling leaping clothesline for a two count. Lethal with a springboard drop kick to Creed but Dutt hits Lethal from behind. Dutt punches Lethal. Lethal with a hip toss and cartwheel into a drop kick. Williams with a slingshot gutbuster to Lethal and then Dutt pulls Lethal out. Creed with a series of punches. Dutt hits Creed from behind and then punches Creed. Creed punches Dutt and Williams with a forearm to Creed. Williams with a backbreaker followed by a swinging neck breaker. Petey poses and then he holds Creed for Dutt. Dutt takes off his gloves and takes his time and he punches him in the gut. Dutt with a kick and then Williams throws Dutt out of the ring. Creed is sent into the ropes but Lethal works over Williams and gets a near fall. Creed with a suplex for a two count on Lethal. Williams with a side Russian leg sweep and it is time to pose some more. Dutt hits Williams from behind and then he hits a quebrada for a two count on Creed. Dutt with punches to Williams. Dutt with a kick to the head of Williams but he misses a springboard move. Creed blocks the Canadian Destroyer and he hits a super kick on Dutt. Lethal hits the Lethal combination on Williams but Creed hits a TKO onto Williams. Creed gets the three count with a backslide on Dutt.
Winner: Consequences Creed
TO THE BACK for Sheik Abdul Bashir’s comments. Bashir says that he couldn’t think of a better opponent than a man who dresses himself in the red, white, and blue of the U.S.A. Bashir asks who is free. They took his wife and children and gave him a lethal injection. His pain will bring bloodshed and Creed’s blood shall be the first.

We are back with Karen’s Angle and the guest is Mick Foley. Mick says that he was nervous before coming into the Impact Zone. It was the first day of the rest of his life. It is a place where a difference can be made. He did not feel that way about the WWE. Mick says that he wants to make a difference. Mick says that Sting has rediscovered his passion. Mick says that he is looking forward to being involved in Bound for Glory. He says that Kurt tries to win every night and his greatest strength can be his greatest weakness. He thinks that Angle is frustrated that Jarrett thinks that Foley is the greatest acquisition. Mick talks about the tough time that Jeff has gone through over the last two years. Mick tells Jarrett to stay focused and not let emotions get the best of him.
Time for a look at the card for Bound for Glory.
Rhino is in the back and he tells Kip that he is going to be the appetizer at Bound for Glory. He says that he is going to set up tables in each corner and play a game of GORE THE WHORE. We go to commercial.
We are back and it is time for comments from Steve McMichael talking about how he is going to be the guest referee for the Monster’s Ball match. He says that it is going to be the most barbaric match ever. It is right up his alley. There will be complete chaos.
Match Number Two: James Storm and Robert Roode with Jackie Moore versus Matt Morgan and Abyss
Before the match starts, Team 3D comes out and they have a chair and a lead pipe and they go to the announce table.
Morgan and Roode start things off. Morgan sends Roode into the turnbuckles and then he is cornered by Morgan before he is thrown into the corner again. Roode with chops to Morgan. Morgan catches Roode on a cross body and he hits a fallaway slam. Storm comes off the turnbuckles and Roode clips Morgan and they double team Morgan. Storm works on the leg. Storm talks to the referee and that allows Roode to wring Morgan’s leg into the ring post. Roode tags in and they make a wish with Morgan’s legs. Morgan sends Roode into the turnbuckles. Morgan with punches but Roode with the Maple Leaf. Abyss makes the tag but the referee did not see it so Abyss has to go back to the apron. Storm is tagged in after they double team Morgan. Morgan blocks a double suplex and he hits a double clothesline. Abyss tags in and he punches Roode and Storm. Abyss with a splash into the corner on both men. Abyss with Shock Treatment on Storm but Roode breaks up the cover. Roode and Storm punch Abyss but Morgan with a cross body on both men and Morgan with a bicycle kick but Storm with an enzuigiri. Storm tries to hit Abyss with the bottle, but Morgan with a boot and then Abyss hits the Black Hole Slam for the three count.
Winners: Matt Morgan and Abyss
Lauren is with LAX and it is earlier tonight. Lauren talks for a while and Homicide says that they are focusing on Roode and Storm. He has been told to elevate your hate and they will do it in Chicago. They will hurt Storm and Roode.
We go to commercial and there are Bound for Glory billboards in Chicago.
We are back with a video package about Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle.
It is time for Mick Foley to come to the ring . . . right here in Orlando, Florida. Mick says that he better address the question on everybody’s mind. What is the deal with the sports jacket? Mick says that Brother Ray kidnapped and bastardized the red and black flannel. Mick wants to try to come up with a new wardrobe. Mick says it is time to be serious. He thanks everyone for making his debut mean so much. He has had a lot of great moments during his career. Last week will hold a special place in his heart. He knew that there was the potential for a great thing last week, but there needs to be a special magic in the air. Mick says that all of the elements will be there at Bound for Glory when he is special guest enforcer and sees Kurt Angle face Jeff Jarrett. Mick guarantees that any of the allies of both sides will be dealt with by the enforcer harshly and immediately. Mick brings out Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett.
Mick says that with so much on the line, he asks them for some last words for the people in the Impact Zone. Jeff says that TNA made a huge mistake in hiring him, but that is something that he has to live with. He chalks it up to bad judgment. Jeff says that it had to come to this because this is what Kurt wanted, not him. Jeff says that he has something that is Kurt’s. He gives him the gold medal back and says that he will see him in Chicago.
Kurt has nothing to say.
Mick wants Jeff and Kurt to shake hands and they do.
Angle takes the mic and he thanks Jeff for giving him back his gold medal and says that Jeff did the right thing. Kurt asks for one more favor. Kurt tells Jeff to go home and tell his three girls that he apologizes . . . for what he is going to do to their daddy at Bound for Glory.

We are back and it is time to talk about Bound for Glory and we have some more matches to announce.
Jeremy Borash is in Booker’s Linguistics Lab and Jeremy asks Booker about the match and which side Christian will be on. Booker says that he knows everything and Christian will be on his side because Christian is a champion. Booker says that A.J. is good for two things, feeding the chickens and picking up the cow poop. Booker says that he will prove to A.J. that he will be in the ring with a living legend. Jeremy asks about the contents of the briefcase. Sharmell says that Booker will reveal the contents when the time is right.
We see billboards in Chicago as we go to commercial.
We are back with Rough Cut and Roxxi says that she has done a lot to prove that she deserves a title match. Taylor says that Roxxi adds something different to the match. Roxxi says that Kong can expect payback for giving her stitches. Roxxi says that it is time for her to show what she can do.
We see footage from ‘Roxxi Saeed’ hit Kong with the chair two weeks ago.
Match Number Four: Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed versus Taylor Wilde and Roxxi Laveaux
Roxxi and Kong start off and Roxxi with forearms but Saeed comes in and attacks Roxxi. Roxxi with a cross body but they catch her. Taylor with a drop kick that takes Kong and Saeed down. Kong takes care of Taylor and then Saeed attacks Taylor. Kong with a wheelbarrow of Saeed onto Taylor for a two count. Saeed punches Taylor and then she tags in Kong. Kong tosses Taylor by the hair. Taylor punches Kong and Saeed grabs Taylor but Kong collides with Saeed. Roxxi tags in and she chops Kong and connects with a forearm to Saeed. Roxxi with knees to Kong from the turnbuckles. Saeed goes after Roxxi. All four are in the ring. Taylor ducks down and Kong goes over the top rope to the floor. Taylor with an enzuigiri to Roxxi when Saeed moves. Taylor is tripped by Kong and Saeed with a slam to Roxxi and then she goes up top for a moonsault but Roxxi moves out of the way. Roxxi with a kick and she sets for the Voodoo drop but Kong hits Roxxi from behind. Kong with the Implant Driver for the three count.
Winners: Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed

Match Number Five: A.J. Styles versus Booker T with Sharmell
Booker has a ting or two to tell A.J. before the bell rings. Booker backs A.J. into the corner and Christian pulls him out. A.J. with a rollup for a near fall. Booker has a ting to say to the referee. Styles with a side head lock but Booker with a hammer lock and side head lock of his own. Booker with a spinning heel kick. Styles with a drop kick and reverse chin lock as we go to commercial.
We are back and Booker with knees to A.J. Booker misses a spin kick but Styles with a punch. Styles chops Booker but Booker tosses A.J. onto the top rope. Booker with a near fall on A.J. and then he puts Styles in a key lock. Booker with a spinebuster and he gets a two count. Booker misses another back heel kick and Styles and Booker exchange punches. Christian has some words for Booker and then Booker with a rear chin lock. Styles gets to his feet but Booker with knees to the back. Booker sets for the axe kick but A.J. moves and then he hits the Pele kick. Styles punches Booker as he blocks Booker’s attempts. Styles with clotheslines to Booker and then he hits a suplex for a two count. Styles with kicks to the leg and then he puts Booker in a cross arm breaker but Booker gets to the ropes. A.J. has some words for Christian. Booker with a German suplex and bridge for a three count, but A.J. gets his shoulders up.
Winner: A.J. Styles
Booker goes after Christian but Christian take care of Booker and sends him out of the ring. Christian punches A.J. Jim Cornette comes out and he wanted everything settled tonight. This will be settled on Sunday at Bound for Glory. It will be a Three Way Dance.

We are back with a video package for Sting and Samoa Joe.
Jim Cornette is in the ring and he says the most anticipated title match in recent memory takes place on Sunday night. Time to bring the participants into the ring. Out first is the perennial Bound for Glory challenger, Sting. Out next is Samoa Joe.
It is time for the contract to be signed. Cornette says that the specific clause they agreed to have in the contract will be added. There will be no rematch after Sunday. Sting signs first and then Joe signs the contract. Cornette asks if there are any last words before Sunday. Sting tells Joe that it didn’t have to be this way. He says that he will see Joe at Bound for Glory. Joe tells Sting to do what he needs to do because he will do what he needs to do. Joe says that Sting must be thinking why he is not attacking Sting now. Joe says that Nash taught him to be professional. Professionally speaking, Sting is wrong about him because he respects Sting. Joe offers his hand to Sting and Sting shakes it. Joe with a headbutt to Sting and Sting punches Joe. There is pandemonium in the ring as security and referees try to separate them.
2009 - Ring of Honor ran Collingsville, IL. Stephyn Phillips filed the following live report:
Before the show, Jim Cornette was signing autographs. There were three pre-show matches, but I didn't catch all of them other than a six-man tag that featured Bobby Dempsey and Mike Sydal, who is Evan Bourne's brother. Sydal didn't do much in the match, it was my first time seeing him.
The main show starts with Roderick Strong vs. Kevin Steen. Both men were in usual awesome form; Strong has lost a lot of weight since the Generation Next days, but is still a machine. Steen hit the package piledriver, but Strong countered the pin attempt with a crucifix for the win.
Non-title match between Shimmer Champion MsChif vs. Nicole Matthews was next. MsChif was doing her usual spots. First time seeing Matthews and she didn't disappoint. Good match that was a breath of fresh air compared to the usual divas crap McMahon forces upon us. MsChif finished with the "Desecrator" DDT for the win.
Next Austin Aries came out for his Lucky Lottery draw. Aries drew Daizee Haize, but Delirious came out with her and challenged Aries. Aries refused, but was ordered by Cornette to face him later that night.
Next Jay and Mark Briscoe defeated the House of Truth. First time seeing House of Truth (Christian Able & Josh Raymond) and they surprised me. They worked extremely hard and got a lot of crap from the crowd (one of them had fishnets on under his trunks). Not so sure about Truth Martini, but a good match. Jay got the pin with a spike "Jay Driller".
Next was an unannounced Four Corner Survival Match: Petey Williams vs. Colt Cabana vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Ace Steele. AWESOME. A lot of comedy spots from Colt and Ace, but Petey got into it too, trying to start a Second City Saints celebration, only to be jumped by Colt and Ace. Claudio was GREAT. He is probably one of the most improved wrestlers I've seen in years. Great heel that knows how to work the crowd. Petey killed Colt with the "Canadian Destroyer". Claudio won with the "Ricola Bomb" on Ace.
After intermission, we got the match of the night: Davey Richards vs. Kenny Omega. I used to hate Omega, but he impressed the hell out of me last night. This match was AWESOME and received chants of "this is wrestling" and "match of the year". Richards gave Omega some of the stiffest kicks I've ever seen. The two went back and forth with near falls, and Omega escaped the Cloverleaf twice. Finish came when Omega scored an upset with a small package. This match is worth checking out when the DVD comes out! Richards is the new "Best in the World" This was the first show post Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness leaving, and I was worried to say the least. This match helped me realize that ROH can carry on. This match elevated Omega to a contender and further cemented Richards place as the future of wrestling.
The next match did not have much heat, due to following such an awesome bout. Kenny King and Rhett Titus defeated the Young Bucks, when Titus pinned Matt with a cradle from behind after Matt hit a moonsault off the top. The Bucks looked good, but nowhere near as good as they did on the Dragon Gate PPV. King is a really good worker that tries extremely hard. Titus has improved and is funny; at the beginning of the match he grabbed his crotch then tried to get the Bucks to shake his hand, saying "hey, Code of Honor".
Next was Tyler Black vs. Chris Hero. Good match. Black looked good in his return from the injury. During the match, Hero pointed out Black's scar on his neck and chopped it. Hero is good, but goes for the roaring elbow a little too much (it seemed like he did it about 20 times last night). Black finished with "God's Last Gift".
The main event was a good closer to a great night. Aries was classic heel Aries, while Delirious was, well Delirious (although he is more understandable that in the past). The scariest spot of the night came in this match, when Aries hit a dive to the outside on Daizee that sent her hard into the guard rail. Really SICK! Austin finished Delirious with a brainbuster to retain the ROH World title.
Carey Silken and Jim Cornette shook everyones hands as the left the arena. Nice gesture. ROH won't return to the St. Louis area until July 23, which sucks. I thought we'd be in a more frequent rotation, but a lot better than when I lived in California.

*Jimmy Uso and Donny Marlow defeated Lennox McEnroe & Byron Saxton.
*Michael Tarver beat Wes Brisco.
*Heath Slater defeated Gabriel.
*Skip Sheffield beat Dylan Klein by DQ after Eli Cottonwood attacked Sheffield.
*Mia Mancini pinned Natalya.
*Joe Hennig beat Vance Archer with the Perfectplex.
*Brett DiBiase, Tyler Reks, Duke Rotundo & Bo Rotundo beat Curt Hawkins, Trent Beretta, Caylen Croft & Eric Escobar when DiBiase made Hawkins submit to the Million Dollar Dream.
*Yoshi Tatsu pinned Alex Riley after a kick to the head when Riley grabbed the ringside mic and cut a promo during the match that involved taunting Yoshi.
*FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion Justin Angel pinned Drew McIntyre with a roll-up after blocking the double arm DDT.

2012 - Tammy Sytch was arrested in Branford, CT on charges of third degree burglary and three counts of violating a protective order, her fifth arrest in a 30 day period. She had only been out of jail from the previous day's arrest for a few hours.

Match Number One: Brodus Clay and Tensai (with Cameron and Naomi) versus Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, and Drew McIntyre in a Handicap Match
Clay and Slater start things off. Slater with a jab to Clay and Clay asks if he wants to fight. Clay misses a punch but Slater connects again. Slater cannot escape Clay because of his long hair and Clay blocks a punch and he slams Slater. Slater with another slam. Clay with a front face lock and then he hits a suplex.
Tensai tags in and Slater makes the tag to Mahal. Mahal wit a kick and punches but Tensai with a shoulder tackle. Tensai with a knuckle lock followed by a monkey flip. Tensai with a delayed butterfly suplex and he gets a near fall. Clay tags back in and he punches Mahal. Clay and Tensai with a double back elbow followed by an elbow drop for a near fall.
Clay with punches to the midsection and Tensai tags back in and he punches Mahal. Tensai with a head butt, but he misses a charge into the corner. Drew tags in but Mahal with a Harley Race high knee. McIntyre with a flying kick for a near fall. Drew chokes Tensai in the ropes. Slater tags back in and he punches Tensai.
Slater with punches to the midsection in the corner but the referee warns Slater. Tensai with a kick and he sends Slater to the mat. Slater with a drop kick to the knee and he gets a near fall. Slater with a reverse chin lock. Tensai with a punch but Slater with jabs. He takes too much time to follow up and Tensai with an uppercut and then Tensai sends Slater to the floor.
Drew rolls Slater back in and Clay and Mahal tag in. Clay with a clothesline followed by a head butt and Sheeeplex. Clay with a splash into the corner followed by a slam. Clay goes to the turnbuckles and he hits a splash for a near fall. Tensai sends McIntyre to the floor when Drew tries to interfere.
Mahal rolls to the floor before Slater is tagged in. Slater with a kick to the head and then Slater with a slingshot corkscrew splash for the three count.
Winners: Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre, and Heath Slater
Josh and Alex talk about the situation between Ryback and CM Punk from Battleground and it will continue at Hell in a Cell.

We are back and we still have no WWE Champion. We are reminded by Josh that we are promised that we will have a champion after Hell in a Cell. This time, Shawn Michaels will be the guest referee when Daniel Bryan faces Randy Orton.

Aksana seductively takes off her pink shirt but Tamina attacks Aksana. Aksana kicks Tamina but she misses a clothesline. Tamina with a chop and kicks. Tamina misses a charge into the corner and hits the turnbuckles with her shoulder. Aksana kicks the arm and she drops an elbow on the arm.
Aksana with a near fall. Aksana continues to work on the arm with a key lock. Aksana with a side slam and then she crawls around Tamina but Tamina kicks Aksana before Aksana can do the same to Tamina. Tamina with kicks followed by a snap mare and leaping knee drop for a near fall. Tamina with a rear chin lock. Aksana kicks Tamina and hits a neck breaker for a near fall.
Aksana with a kick to the head and she gets another near fall. Aksana misses a drop kick when Tamina moves. Tamina with a kick followed by a gutbuster and a boot to the head for the three count.

We are back and it is time to take a look back at what happened to the Big Show at the start of Raw. We will have more later.
Match Number Three: Zack Ryder versus Big E Langston
They lock up and Langston sends Ryder to the mat and then he grabs him by the throat and puts him on the turnbuckles. Ryder with forearms to Langston but Langston with a shoulder tackle. Langston with a side head lock. Ryder with a forearm but Langston with a punch. Langston returns to the side head lock.
Langston cinches in the side head lock and Ryder’s head turns an unnatural color. Langston with a punch and he blocks a clothesline. Ryder with a flying forearm and a drop kick. Langston goes to the floor and Ryder with a baseball slide.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Ryder with a front face lock. Langston gets to his feet and he tosses Ryder away and he punches Ryder in the abdomen to send Ryder to the mat. Langston with another punch to the abdomen and Ryder crawls into the corner and the referee checks on him.
Langston with another punch and shoulders in the corner. Langston with a running shoulder into the corner and he gets a near fall. Ryder with a bear hug into a waist lock. Ryder tries to escape and he connects with elbows and he claps his hands to affect Langston’s equilibrium. Langston with a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall.
Langston slaps Ryder in the head and then he punches Ryder in the midsection. Langston misses the big splash and Ryder with an elbow and knees to Langston. Ryder with a missile drop kick and then Ryder sets for the Broski Boot and he connects.
Ryder cannot get a cover and Langston goes to the floor. Langston sends Ryder into the ringside barrier followed by a hip toss into the ropes and then he clothesline Ryder on the floor.
They return to the ring and Langston runs Ryder into the corner and then Ryder with a sunset flip for a near fall. Langston misses a splash into the corner. Ryder with a running forearm into the corner and then he hits a second one. Ryder goes for a third but Langston with a uranage followed by a running body block. The straps come down and it is time for the Big Ending and Langston gets the three count.
Winner: Big E Langston
