1986 - WWF taped television in Poughkeepsie, NY.  During the taping, Bobby Heenan announced that Andre the Giant had been suspended for missing an appearance several weeks prior.  That would lead to the debut of the Masked Machines "from Japan" to feud with Big John Studd and King Kong Bundy.

1987 - WWF champion Hulk Hogan defeated Kamala in the main event of a WWF TV Taping in San Diego at the Sports Arena.

1988 - The NWA held a seven-man tournament to fill the NWA United States Heavyweight Title vacancy left by Dusty Rhodes. Rhodes had been stripped of the title one month earlier after attacking Jim Crockett. The tournament was held in Houston, Texas. The results:

- Barry Windham defeated The Midnight Rider (who was unmasked to reveal The Italian Stallion).
- Lex Luger and Al Perez were both disqualified, putting Barry Windham through to the final match.

-King Jim Duggan pinned Haku at 10:06 with the running clothesline after Haku missed a diving headbutt.
-Big John Studd defeated Andre the Giant via disqualification at 6:38 when Haku interfered; after the bout, Jim Duggan then made the save with his 2x4; both Haku and Duggan made their way to ringside towards the end of the match.

1995 - The WWF held the final wrestling show at the Boston Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The brand-new FleetCenter (now TD Banknorth Garden) opened on September 30, replacing the Garden, which was demolished in November 1997. The Garden had been in operation since 1928.  Tony Garea, Pete Doherty, George Steele, Angelo Savoldi, Arnold Skaaland, Pat Patterson, Killer Kowalski, Chief Jay Strongbow, Gorilla Monsoon, Nikolai Volkoff and Vince McMahon all made appearances on the card to commemorate the closing of the venue.

The results of the event, titled "A Night to Remember" were:

 The Heavenly Bodies (Jimmy Del Ray and Tom Prichard (with Jim Cornette)) defeated The Bushwhackers (Butch and Luke).

1995 - ECW held "Enter Sandman" at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The results:

- Axl Rotten defeated Ian Rotten in a barbed wire bat match that saw a barbed wire chair also brought into the equation.
- Raven and Stevie Richards defeated Tommy Dreamer and Mikey Whipwreck by disqualification.  This match features the introduction of referee Bill Alfonso with the storyline being that Shane Douglas petitioned the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission for rules to be enforced within ECW.  Alfonso DQ'd Dreamer for using a closed fist.  This would kick off an entire summer of fans literally wanting to kill Alfonso for "ruining the ECW party".  Alfonso would go to work for ECW until it went out of business in January 2001.
- ECW World Television Champion Eddie Guerrero fought Dean Malenko to a 30-minute draw to retain the title.
- ECW World Heavyweight Champion The Sandman defeated Cactus Jack to retain the title after Shane Douglas shoved Foley's foot off the ropes while the referee was counting.
- ECW World Television Champion Eddie Guerrero defeated Marty Jannetty to retain the title.
- ECW World Heavyweight Champion The Sandman defeated Shane Douglas to retain the title after Mick Foley interfered.
- ECW World Tag Team Champions The Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and Rocco Rock) defeated The Pitbulls (#1 and #2) in a double dog collar match, when Rock pinned Pitbull #2, to retain the titles.

2002 - Trish Stratus defeats Jazz in Toronto, Ontario for the WWE Women's Title, beginning her second reign as part of a Raw broadcast.  Tim Whitehead filed the following TV Report:

The 5/13 edition of RAW IS WCW aired live from Toronto. They promised a new member of the NWO, only to deliver Booker T in the end. The NWO, for all intents and purposes, has reached the point that the Four Horsemen once reached. Namely, the membership has changed so many times that the group no longer has any definitive meaning. It's one thing to make an occasional change in membership, such as dumping Ole Anderson and bringing in Lex Luger. But after countless changes, and the addition of guys who just don't fit the template, the entire concept becomes void. The NWO, in its glory days, was Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and assorted underlings. Eventually too many underlings, but that's another issue. Eric Bischoff also went NWO, becoming a heel promoter, just like Flair. At least then the fans wanted to boo Bischoff. They don't want to boo Flair. When the three core NWO guys were brought into the WWF a few months ago, the concept was well past its prime, but in a new promotion there was at least some life to it with the original big cast of characters. But now, Hogan is no longer NWO, Hall is gone, and only one of the big three remains, and he's on the injured list. Ric Flair, in a sane world, is not NWO. Neither is Booker T, who is good enough in the ring and funny enough on the mic to be contending for singles belts or at least being pushed as an entertaining tag partner with Goldust. Instead, he gets the number four position in an NWO where Flair, Nash, and Big Show are the top three. X-Pac, no matter who the other members are, will always be designated jobber.

They opened the show with footage of Flair's turn on Steve Austin in last week's six man main event. Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler put over that Austin was very angry.

The Hardys beat Brock Lesnar by DQ in a handicap match in 3:29. Footage aired of prior Lesnar destructions of the Hardys. Jeff started the match with an attack on Lesnar from behind. Lesnar drove Jeff into the corner. Jeff came back with a dropkick to the leg. Lesnar powerslammed him. Matt came in and went after the leg some more. Lesnar suplexed Matt. Paul Heyman kept screaming advice from ringside. Lesnar is still green when it comes to working a complete match as he messed up a jawbreaker spot. The Hardys managed to put Lesnar down and went for a combo swanton (from Jeff) and legdrop off the top (from Matt). Jeff hit the swanton but Matt missed the legdrop when Lesnar raised his upper body up to take the swanton. The ref started to count Jeff's pin but Heyman pulled the ref out of the ring. For this, the ref DQ'ed Lesnar. That made sense in and of itself, but it begs the question of why refs are pulled from the ring on almost every show with no DQ being ordered. The Hardys were leaving up the ramp when Heyman got on the mic and started screaming "No" over and over. He asked the Hardys if they really want to win a match that way, and challenged them to another handicap match at Judgment Day. They accepted. Heyman then suggested that instead of a handicap bout, it should be the Hardys against Lesnar and himself. The Hardys also accepted that challenge.

Big Show and X-Pac were talking when Flair came in. X-Pac wanted to know what was going on. Flair said it's a new era for the NWO and there's no room for error. He said it was unfortunately necessary for him to fire Scott Hall, noting that he dropped the ball by losing to Austin at Wrestlemania and continuing to fail despite repeated chances. That was a play off of the real situation that led to Hall's firing. Flair then noted that Nash isn't really suspended but is out with bicep surgery (which is true) and said Nash is getting bigger and badder every day. No comment. Flair said a new NWO member would be added before the end of RAW, and that it's such a secret that even the new member doesn't know he's the new member. This was a vague tease to internet fans that it might be Bill Goldberg, which it obviously wasn't. Flair & Show headed out to the ring to launch the new NWO era. X-Pac looked pleased.

Flair & Show arrived in the ring. During the break they aired that WWE promo with the lady trimming the hedge, and JR said he wouldn't mind if Flair got the F out. There were some boos but no one really wants to boo Flair so he had to work the crowd to get strong heel heat. Flair said he deserves respect and noted his status as a 16 time world champion. There was an "a**hole" chant and JR actually called him a 16 time a**hole. Flair said that as a 16 time champ it made him 15 times better than the Maple Leafs. Flair said he owns one-half of the WWE, that being the RAW brand. The "a**hole" chant got louder and Flair told a girl in the crowd, "They're talking about your mother, sweetheart." Flair said he has a problem with Austin. He said he drafted Austin, supported him, and tried to be nice to him but all he got in return were stunners. Once Austin's name was invoked the crowd started chanting "what". Flair said Austin was trash, just like the fans, and said "to hell with Austin, to hell with you, to hell with the Maple Leafs." Continuing, he said he now sympathizes with what Vince McMahon went through in trying to deal with Austin. He said Austin should be down on his knees kissing his ass, and that at Judgment Day, Austin will pay the price. Flair concluded by using his power as owner to grant himself an Undisputed WWE World Title shot against Hulk Hogan for later in the show, calling that a true legend vs. legend match. Both JR & Lawler predicted Flair would have something up his sleeve for that match.

As they came out of the commercial break, JR reported that Flair had made his match against Hogan a no-DQ bout.

Hulk Hogan arrived at the arena on his motorcycle. He parked it and left it unattended. That was brilliant considering what he did to Undertaker's bike last week.

Footage aired from earlier in the day showing Shawn Stasiak talking to himself in the locker room. Eddie Guerrero walked through and started making fun of Stasiak, suggesting that he might be high on weed. Stasiak was offended that Guerrero would suggest that Planet Stasiak exists in an altered state of reality. He challenged Guerrero to a match. Guerrero accepted, saying Stasiak would soon be smoking his own ass.

Guerrero beat Stasiak in 1:07. It wasn't made clear if this was for the IC Title or not. I guess it was non-title. Lawler said Guerrero thinks Cheech & Chong have been hanging out on Planet Stasiak, and JR said "Eddie could tell". Rob Van Dam came out, to Guerrero's chagrin, and took up a seat at ringside. Guerrero squashed Stasiak, winning with the frog splash. Afterward, RVD attacked Guerrero with kicks and hurled him from the ring. RVD left up the ramp but as he reached the top, Guerrero got on the mic and screamed at him, demanding to know who he thinks he is to attack him like that. RVD did the thumb point and said "I'm Rob Van Dam", or at least we could tell he said that by reading his lips because they once again didn't give him a mic.

Jonathan Coachman nervously knocked on Austin's door to try and get an interview. Debra came out and said she'd get Austin for him.

After the break, Austin came out. Remember the good old days when Austin did great interviews? Now all we get are short repeated phrases and questions designed to elicit "whats". That's what we got here. Austin called Flair a jackass and asked over and over, in various forms, if Coach thinks he trusts Flair, thinks he cares how many times Flair's held a world title, etc. What? What? What? What? What? Austin asked Coach if Flair deserves the world title shot he granted himself. Coach acted afraid to answer, so Austin answered that Flair doesn't deserve the shot. He promised to kick Flair's ass and Big Show's ass at Judgment Day.

A message appeared on the screen warning that the actions we were about to witness were those of Tommy Dreamer, not the WWE. The segment was titled "A Day in the Life of Tommy Dreamer". Tommy was shown in a public restroom where he was brushing a bulldog's teeth. He then brushed his own teeth with the same toothbrush. Next, Tommy sprayed shaving cream in his mouth and shaved his tongue. There were some guys using the urinals, and Tommy interrupted them to get some urinal water to gargle with. They all left in disgust as Tommy explained that urinal water is better since it's colder. So Tommy finally has a WWE gimmick: He's a sideshow freak.

Molly Holly beat Terri in 2:27. William Regal did color commentary, which didn't seem to make sense until the end when he befriended Molly. He ridiculed D-Lo Brown for attacking him last week. Most of the match was bad until Terri hit a huracanrana off the top. JR described it in sexual overtones of the type that usually come from Lawler. Molly won with an inside cradle and then threw Terri from the ring. Regal went in and commended Molly. He said he was delighted to see a young lady in the WWE who doesn't hike up her skirt or display her bosoms. He said he would be honored to escort her from the ring, and they walked out arm in arm. This could be an entertaining alliance.

Hour two began with Hogan beating Flair in the no-DQ match to retain the Undisputed WWE World Title in 8:46. Hogan rode his motorcycle down to the ring. Luckily it was downhill so he could coast if he had to. He was even luckier that Undertaker hadn't yet destroyed it. The match began and it was almost the same exact match they first did in the WWF (WWE) during Flair's first stint there more than a decade ago, though slower due to age. Flair charged Hogan but bumped as if he hit a brick wall. Flair bumped until finally getting a chair. The ref took it from him (even though it was no-DQ). Flair argued and the ref shoved him. Hogan no-sold Flair's chops and pounded Flair in the corner, leading to Flair taking the face-first bump. There was good crowd heat, since these two will always be able to get heat together. Flair tried to take the bump over (the one where he used to run along the apron and get clotheslined) but didn't make it. So he climbed up to the top turnbuckle and, as in 3,000 matches before, got hurled off for a bump. Flair begged and used that as a front to sneak in a low blow. He threw Hogan out and tried to post him but Hulk blocked it. Back in the ring, Hogan chopped Flair and put him in the figure four, but Flair made the ropes. Flair chopped Hulk but he no-sold it and made the Hulkamania comeback. The Hulkster hit the boot to the face and legdrop but X-Pac ran in and broke up the pin. Hogan disposed of X-Pac. Big Show then attacked Hogan but Bradshaw made the save. Flair was about to put the figure four on Hogan when Austin ran in and gave Flair a stunner. Hogan then hit the legdrop, got the three count, and left on the motorcycle. Hogan vs. Flair would have been a good mid-card PPV draw but they gave it away for a hoped-for ratings pop. We'll soon see if it worked.

They aired a WWE promo with two people making out in a car and the new logo appearing in the steamed up car windows. Sounds like they're trying to get one of those family-oriented TV monitoring groups to come after them again in order to get a publicity pop.

They replayed the ending of the Hogan vs. Flair match. Flair threw a major tantrum backstage and turned his desk over. He was furious at being denied his 17th world title. So as punishment for Bradshaw he ordered him to fight Show & X-Pac in the 34,587th handicap match of the past year. Show & X-Pac wanted to know what Flair planned to do to punish Austin. Flair said Austin would have to fight the new mystery NWO member in a lumberjack match where Flair would select all the lumberjacks himself.

Bubba Ray Dudley & Trish Stratus beat Steven Richards & Jazz in 4:09, with Trish capturing the women's title. Both the women's title and the Hardcore Title were on the line. The rules were that the guys weren't supposed to touch the gals, and vice-versa, but you can guess how long that lasted. Bubba started the match off by tossing Trish out onto both Richards and Jazz. They did the spot where Richards got squashed into Jazz in the corner, and Jazz then fell head first into Richards' crotch. Trish used a trash can on Jazz. Bubba did the Dusty Rhodes bionic elbow on Richards. Trish walloped Richards with a stop sign and Bubba then hit the sign, which was lying on Richards' private parts, with a hockey stick. Richards' sensitive area took a beating in this match. Justin Credible ran in, followed by Crash Holly. Both were doing the 24/7 deal. Neither won the belt this time, as Crash was put out with a fire extinguisher while Credible took a guitar shot from Bubba. Richards tagged Jazz in and decided to flee to protect his belt. Jazz went after Trish but Trish surprised her with the Stratusfaction to score the pin and win the women's belt in front of her hometown Toronto fans. Bubba, who had left momentarily to chase Richards, returned and raised Trish's hand. Trish walloped Jazz, who had revived, with the belt and told Bubba to get the table to a big pop. Bubba complied and put Jazz through the table and she overshot a little and her landing looked scary. Bubba got the blank stare on his face again. An entertaining gimmick match.

They replayed last week's segment where Hogan drove the truck over Undertaker's motorcycle. Coach then tried to interview UT. But UT just glared at him and walked off. At the announcers' desk, Lawler was holding a Hulkamania magazine and he said Hogan might never again look as good after UT finishes with him.

Goldust was in his locker room, talking to Booker T, who was out of camera range. Goldust thought it was great that Flair picked them to be lumberjacks, and started singing that Monty Python "I'm a Lumberjack and I'm Okay" song. He didn't get to the part where he puts on women's clothing and hangs around in bars. Instead, the camera panned over to show Booker dressed like a lumberjack. He had a fake beard, a plaid flannel shirt, a cap, and an axe. He took the costume off in disgust, saying he felt like a fool wearing it. Goldust whined that it always winds up like this (i.e., arguing) when they get together.

They hyped the upcoming Vince McMahon appearance on Bob Costas' show, That should be interesting.

Big Show & X-Pac beat Bradshaw in the handicap match in 4:32. X-Pac wore the Kane mask. The story of the match was Bradshaw getting doubled on but not giving up and continuing to fight back. But they did it to almost zero heat as the crowd was dead. JR said Show weighs 500 pounds and added that that was a conservative estimate. Bradshaw made a big comeback, though again to no heat, but he was cut off quickly by a chairshot from Show. Show gave Bradshaw two chokeslams and X-Pac pinned him. Bradshaw hasn't yet clicked as a singles star, but it's way too early to make a final call because the list of top singles stars who took a while to get over is pretty long, and includes Rock and Triple H.

Hogan was about to leave on the motorcycle when Coach ran up and wanted an interview. Hogan said he'll take care of UT at Judgment Day. He also expressed thanks for Austin helping to neutralize the NWO during his match with Flair. In fact, Hulk decided to return the favor by sticking around to watch Austin's back during the main event. Hey, you'd think he would have stuck around anyway just to see who the new NWO member would be. At this point, UT came out of nowhere and walloped Hogan with a tire iron. It took a while, but UT eventually tied Hogan to the motorcycle and drove off, dragging him behind. JR freaked out. UT rode down a few hallways dragging Hogan behind until eventually, on a turn, Hulk bumped into a pile of boxes and junk, which fell on him. UT said, "Welcome to my world", and walked off without harming the bike.

After a break, they replayed the Hogan dragging angle. Sgt. Slaughter and the EMT's had by now arrived and they fitted Hogan, who said his neck was hurt, with a neck brace as they prepared to take him to the hospital.

Austin beat Booker T in the lumberjack match in 5:25. They played Flair's 2001 music at first, even though he wasn't in the match. No one at the beginning knew Booker was the new NWO member. Booker was just out there as one of the lumberjacks. The others were Goldust, Show, X-Pac, Lesnar, Crash, Credible, Bossman, Guerrero, Regal, Raven, and Flair himself. Austin arrived and got pounded by a bunch of the lumberjacks immediately. They threw Austin in the ring, and it was at that point that Flair got on the mic and named Booker the new NWO member and Austin's opponent. There was absolutely no crowd reaction to this. In fact, the entire match had no heat except for a mild pop when Booker did a spinaroonie. Booker started off strong since Austin had been beaten down. Austin started a comeback but Bossman dragged him out. Austin slugged Bossman and Raven but Lesnar posted him and rammed him into the apron. They shouldn't have had Lesnar out there since it made him look like just another roster guy, albeit a strong one. He should also be kept away from the top tier guys like Austin until he's ready to move into that tier. Austin went back in but ended up out on the other side of the ring where Show held him as Flair beat on him. In the ring again, Booker hit an axe kick. Austin then got pounded by more lumberjacks. The finish saw Booker accidentally collide with X-Pac, who was on the apron. Regal went in but Austin stunned him. Austin then cradled Booker for the pin. Not an auspicious debut for the new NWO guy to lose even though almost a dozen guys were there to help him. The crowd was still dead. Austin left up the ramp. Even though the ring was surrounded by hostile forces, he just had to slug one (Raven) to get out. I guess that can be explained by the fact that the NWO had an ace in the hole. When Austin turned around to flip Flair off, Arn Anderson....whom no one wanted to see turn heel, either....attacked Austin from behind. Austin was tossed back in the ring where Show chokeslammed him, gave him some elbows and knees, and chokeslammed him again. Flair pounded Austin with fists and he juiced from the mouth. Even this beat down only earned modest heat. A weak ending to another poor show.

2007 - TNA held its third-annual "Sacrifice" pay-per-view at the iMPACT! Zone in Orlando, Florida. Earlier in the day, the NWA and TNA ended their five-year business relationship, with the NWA stripping the NWA World Heavyweight and World Tag Team Titles from Christian Cage and Team 3D, respectively. The results:
- TNA X Division Champion Chris Sabin defeated Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt in a triple threat match to retain the title, by pinning Dutt with a roll-up.

- Basham and Damaja (with Christy Hemme) defeated Kip James in a handicap match, when Basham got the pin after a diving headbutt. B.G. James was scheduled for the match, but was attacked by Basham and Damaja beforehand.
- Chris Harris defeated James Storm in a Texas death match, after pinning Storm after hitting him with a beer bottle, with Storm not being able to answer the 10-count.
- Jerry Lynn defeated Senshi, Alex Shelley and Tiger Mask IV in a four corners match. After the match, Shelley and Chris Sabin attacked Lynn until Bob Backlund made the save.
- TNA World Tag Team Champions Team 3D (Brother Ray & Brother Devon) defeated Scott Steiner & Tomko and The Latin American Exchange (Homicide & Hernandez) in a triple threat match, when Brother Ray pinned Tomko after a 3D, to retain the title.
- Samoa Joe pinned A.J. Styles after a rear naked choke suplex.
- Kurt Angle defeated TNA World Heavyweight Champion Christian Cage and Sting in a three-way match to win the title, by making Sting submit with the ankle lock. Sting had Cage pinned at the same time, but Sting tapped out to Angle just before the three-count was made on Cage.

2007 - Inoki Dojo USA held an event at the Inoki Dojo in Los Angeles, California. The results were:
- Apocalipto and Colossal Chris defeated Cadaver and Thunder Wolf.
- Bad Blood defeated Sexy Chino.
- Cheerleader Melissa defeated Saki Maemura.
- LTP and Pikachu defeated Durango and Impacto.
- Tony Bolt defeated Jimmy Jact Cash.
- Josh Daniels and Masato Tanaka defeated Shockwave the Robot and Sigmo.
- Nanae Takahashi defeated NWA and AWA World Women's Champion Amazing Kong to win the AWA title, beginning her second reign. The NWA title was not at stake.

2008 - Kresten F. Ericksen, 58, pleaded guilty in St. Lawrence County Court in Upstate New York to charges of forgery after signing the name of Joe Pelkofski, a WWE live-event marketing representative, on a receipt for $8,000 for funds that should have gone towards reimbursing the company for a June 2006 event but instead went among the missing.  WWE's allegations of wrong-doing on Ericken's behalf (they believe they were shorted $15,000) led to a number of additional charges relating to his poor handling of a student council fundraising account.  Ericksen, who had not admitted to theft of the funds has promised to pay back missing funds to the school because they were lost under his watch.

2008 - WWE's ECW on Sci Fi was held in Michigan.  Mike Johnson filed the following TV Report:

Welcome to tonight's live coverage of ECW on Sci Fi.  We open with a video package on Colin Whipwreck earning his ECW contract Armando "Macizo" Estrada.  We go backstage where Armando tells Mikey that if he thought he had it rough before, now he's in a lot of trouble.  Colin signs the contract and Armando tells him that as his first official ECW match, he'll have to wrestle Mike Knox.  Colin is too happy to be scared.

CM Punk vs. WWE Tag Team champ The Miz

Miz tells John Morrison to stay backstage so he can take Punk solo.  Miz screws up his part of a waistlock takedown.  Punk finally muscles him down.  The crowd chants Punk's name as he continues to ride Miz to the mat.  Punk catches Miz with a sunset flip for a two count.  Punk charges him in the corner but Miz kicks him off.

Miz works over Punk with punches on the mat.  He cinches in a chinlock but Punk powers out.  Miz whips Punk into the corner and hits a running clothesline.  Miz has really improved of late.  He locks on a chinlock, putting his knee in the small of Punk's back as he torques it back.  Miz shoulderblocks him down for a near fall.

Punk catches Miz with a powerslam for a two count.  Punk hit a running knee in the corner but was shoved off when he went for  a bulldog.  Punk landed on his feet and used several clotheslines and a leg lariat for a two count.  Punk teased a pedigree but Miz escaped.  They did a bridge spot, but Miz escaped an attempted backslide.  Punk went for the GTS but Miz turned it into the Reality Check and scored the clean pinfall.  Short but solidly entertaining.

They show Cherry, Kelly Kelly and Michelle McCool and they'll be teaming later.

Cherry, Kelly Kelly and Michelle McCool vs. Victoria & Natalya & Layla El

McCool and Natalya open the bout.  Natalya unloads with forearms in the corner, then tags in Victoria.  She leg scissors McCool, then works over her arm.  McCool backflips out of the corner, then kicks Victoria down.   Cherry tagged in, then slid under for a sunset flip attempt. 

Victoria ducked out of the ring, leavinga distracted  Cherry to be clotheslined by Natalya in a sweet spot.  Natalya (head and arms above everyone else in the working department it really seems) locks on an armbar.  The heels continue to work on Cherry.  Victoria hit a flip legdrop into the ring.  Sabu would be proud.  Victoria went for a spot but Cherry got her knees up.  Victoria recovered, nailed the other face Divas, then locked on a front facelock to prevent a tag.

She went after the babyface corner again, and this time Cherry rolled her up for the pin.

Match was far better than you would expect and ended too soon to truly become anything memorable.  Still, from bell to bell, this was fun.  Natalya really shines inside the ring.

Lena Yada interviewed Shelton Benjamin and asked him about not being able to end Kofi Kingston's undefeated streak.  Benjamin said Kofi has a horseshoe where the sun doesn't shine and he's going to pull it out.  He promised to beat Kofi.  Kofi showed up and asked him if that was right, then wished him luck.  Benjamin told him to get out of his interview time and shoved Kofi.  Kingston tackled him into the wall, then stared down before walking away.  Benjamin looked like he wanted to do something, but knew better than to try, so it was a staredown.  Decent segment building their tension.

So far, this show is worlds better than last week's show.

Mike Admale and Tazz discussed last night's Raw, then ran a video feature.

Colin Delaney is taping up for his match against Mike Knox.  He's all alone, despite the fact that last week everyone was wishing him well backstage.  I guess now that he's a threat to their spot, they want to see him fail - hey, just like real life!  They play a good Delaney video feature.

Mike Knox vs. Colin Delaney

Colin tried to start out fast but ate boot.  Knox clotheslined him then powered him into the corner.  Knox beat Colin down, then nailed him with his finisher for the pin.

Armando Estrada came out and announced that Colin just had his first match as a member of the ECW roster and would know wrestle the newest member of ECW, Armando.  He kicked Colin in the head and announced that as General Manager, he signed himself as a wrestler to a lucrative contract.

Estrada beat Colin, then pinned him.  Delaney was bleeding from the nose.

WWE Tag Team champion John Morrison vs. ECW champ Kane

Kane cleaned house early.   Miz came to ringside.  Morrison fought back.  Kane took back over.  Pretty basic.  Morrison ducked a charge in the corner and worked him over with punches.  Miz distracted Kane by grabbing his leg.  That led to Punk coming out as they went to commercial.

When they return, Kane was choking out Morrison with a knee across the throat, then nailed a hangman's neckbreaker.  Kane cinched in a side chinlock.  Morrison came back, working on Kane's leg with kicks and a chop block from behind.  Morrison went to the mat, working on the leg.  Kane battled back with punches.

Kane fought his way to his feet but Morrison continued to work on the leg.  He bridged the leg over the middle rope and dropped a knee across it.  Morrison kept up the beating with leglocks and kicks.  From a story standpoint, this was good stuff.  Kane tried to kick Morrison off with the other leg, finally succeeding.

Kane made the white meat babyface comeback with punches and a running clothesline.  He hopped across the ring to punch him in the corner.  Morrison got caught with a sideslam for a two count.  Kane went to the top rope and hit a flying clothesline.  He called for the chokeslam.  Miz got on the apron but Punk attacked him.  Miz slammed Punk back-first into the ring steps.  The referee stepped over to admonish them, allowing Morrison to nail Kane with the Tag strap, then hit a springboard enziguiri for the pin.  Probably the biggest singles win of Morrison's career.

The champs put the boots to Kane.  Punk made the save but was laid out as well.  A great way to put heat on the champions going into the PPV.

Overall, a really nice rebound from last week.  Really enjoyed this show.

2009 - Scott Siegel, the actor who played a drug dealer for Mickey Rourke's Randy the Ram in "The Wrestler" was indicted  on charges of possessing and distributing steroids and assaulting law enforcement officers..   Siegel was apprehended on 2/18 after a dramatic car chase where he rammed several police vehicles during a chase through several areas of Westchester, New York.  He was finally caught in Eastchester after abandoning his SUV for another car and then finally attempting to flee on foot.

Authorities allege Siegel had over $100,000 in cash and 1,500 bottles of anabolic steroids between two homes shortly after they arrested him.  In today's edition of New York Newsday, Siegel's lawyer, Barry Levin, says his client acted out of fear.  Siegel's arrest made international news outlets due to his connection with the Academy Award nominated film, in the Lower Hudson, New York area. He will be arraigned tomorrow for distribution of steroids and assaulting an officer.

2009 - Melody Sanford, the ex-wife of Canadian independent wrestler Ivan (John) Radocaj, who performed as "The Croatian Giant, was officially charged with first-degree murder.  She had previously been charged with conspiracy to commit murder.  If convicted, she faces 25 years in prison without any chance of parole.  Radocaj was beaten to death in September 2007 at the age of 43.  Sanford and Radocaj were married for three brief weeks.  Radocaj's family claimed that his she had threatened Ivan's life several weeks prior to the murder and that believed she had coerced him into the brief marriage to get her hands on an insurance settlement stemming from a car accident that left Radocaj with a broken neck.  Sanford claimed in interviews in 2008 she and Radocaj had reconciled before his death, something his family said they knew nothing about.

We open with a video package of last week's Sting-Hogan confrontation, which culminated in an attack on Sting by Jeff Jarrett, as well as highlights of the RVD-Desmond Wolfe match and postmatch attack on RVD by AJ Styles.

Cue the opening video! We're back on Thursday nights as we lead into Sacrifice this weekend, and your hosts are Mike Tenay and Taz.

Let's head to the ring to open the show with your friend and mine, Eric Bischoff. Bischoff says he loves all the fans, so without any further ado, let's introduce the TNA World Champion, Rob Van Dam! He introduces him as Mr TNA, which makes sense since I guess we can't call him Mr Monday Night anymore. His entrance music still sucks. Bischoff talks about the online poll to determine the rankings in TNA, and says that over half a million people voted in the first poll. So I guess it makes sense you'd have Desmond job in three minutes after winning a poll that many people participated in. Bischoff announces RVD vs Jeff Hardy for later tonight, but there's one problem: Bischoff can't get ahold of Jeff Hardy. Did they check the North Carolina Penal System? RVD says the best part of being champion is proving he's the best and popping ratings for TNA. Cue AJ Styles, who comes to the ring alone. Styles tells RVD to watch his mouth since there are children present, and that he needs to be a role model like AJ Styles. Styles says he's in the mood to hurt somebody, and says the fans came here to see not RVD, but came to see AJ. AJ challenges RVD to a match later tonight, and he says he knows he has RVD in three days at Sacrifice, but he wants to break RVD's legs tonight because he doesn't plan on breaking a sweat at Sacrifice when he takes back "his" title. Oh wait, Jeff Hardy's music hits, and I guess he's here after all. Tenay says his clock is different than everyone else's, and I guess I can guess as to some of the reasons why. Hardy says he's sorry he's late but TNA changes its start time so often that he can't keep it straight, but he's ready for his match tonight. Styles says he's out of luck because he's wrestling RVD tonight and tells Hardy to get lost, but Hardy says that RVD has final say since he's the champion and suggests a three way. RVD tells Bischoff to make the match, and it's official: RVD vs AJ Styles vs Jeff Hardy later tonight!

We come back from commercial, and JB is with the Beautiful People. He mentions that Tara's putting her career on the line this weekend, and Madison Rayne says that this weekend, she's going to prove that she deserves the Knockouts Title. Velvet says all the Knockouts gold is going to stay where it is, and Tara's going to be just another victim. Lacey, who had been dancing around the whole interview, says she has to pee and runs off the set. Velvet Sky says she can't believe she just got cut off, and I have to say I can't believe what I just watched either. Couldn't agree more, Velvet.

Let's head to the ring for our opening match...

Taylor Wilde vs Tara

Taylor goes right after Tara to start and Tara bails to the floor. Taylor goes after her with a crossbody off the apron. The referee pulls her off and sends them back in the ring, where Taylor hits a leg lariat, but hesitates too long and Tara Tullys her to the ramp. Tara follows her out, slams her on the ramp, then tosses her back in. Tara goes for the somersault legdrop over the top, Taylor moves and goes for a springboard crossbody out of the corner, but Tara catches her coming out with a kick to the midsection and covers Taylor for 3. That was kind of abrupt.

Winner: Tara

Tara takes off her knee brace and beats Taylor to smithereens with it after the match until Sarita runs in to chase Tara off. Did Tara always have that spider tattoo on her shoulder? Don't remember seeing it before.

We go backstage, where a bunch of people are huddling around a crying Chelsea and an irate Desmond Wolfe who says that someone just assaulted Chelsea.

We come back from commercial and Christy is saying that Chelsea is alleging that she was assaulted in an undisclosed location. Let's head back to the ring for another match...

Brian Kendrick vs Douglas Williams

Williams tells Kendrick before the match that Kendrick is crazy and a loser, and he's never seen him win a match, so tonight's match is non-title. Trivia note: both these men were in the match to crown the first ROH Champion. Kendrick attacks Williams to start but Williams comes back with a knee to the gut and a snap vertical suplex for 2. Williams with a back elbow and a kneedrop as Frankie Kazarian joins the broadcast team to discuss his match with Williams at Sacrifice. Kendrick comes back with some kicks and a flying forearm for 2, but Williams rolls out to the floor. Williams picks the leg from the outside and slams it into the ring apron, then comes back in and DDTs the leg. Williams with a half crab on Kendrick as Kazarian decides to go down to ringside and reclaim his title belt. Williams sees him coming and goes to grab the belt, allowing Kendrick to roll him up from behind for the win.

Winner: Brian Kendrick

Good thing it was non-title. We go back to Christy who is with Head Of Security Pat Kenney and presses him for details, and he says he doesn't believe what he just heard, and walks off.

We're back from commercial and she has a name for Chelsea's alleged attacker, but the police will not let her name them until they have the person in custody. Le sigh. Let's go back to the ring for another two minutes of in-ring action...

Generation Me vs Matt Morgan

Morgan kills both of them with a double clothesline, then picks Jeremy up for a suplex and just plants him with a uranage, then takes Max's head off with a big boot. He grabs a mic and asks Hogan if it looks like he's playing. He said there would be bloodshed if Hogan didn't tell him who his partner would be at Sacrifice, and the bloodshed will begin now. He tosses Jeremy to the floor and puts his head against the ringpost, but before he can hit the Carbon Footprint, Samoa Joe comes stalking out. Morgan meets him in the ring and tries a Carbon Footprint in the corner, but Joe dodges, hits a leaping enziguiri, then hits the Muscle Buster. That was impressive, but if he can get Morishima up then I guess he would be able to do Morgan too. How much you wanna bet Joe's going to be the partner? I guess let's call this...

No Contest

Wait, now the Band's music hits, and they come out...with Nash's Feast Or Fired briefcase for a tag title shot. Ah yes, I think we all know what's going to happen now.

TNA World Tag Team Title Match: Matt Morgan vs Scott Hall & Kevin Nash

Nash simply covers Morgan, hooks the leg, and Earl Hebner makes the three count.

Team 3D vs Beer Money vs Ink Inc vs Motor City Machine Guns

This'll be fun to recap. Storm and Shelley start and they do a fast paced sequence that ends with Shelley making a blind tag to Sabin, who tosses Storm to the floor and follows him out with a dive. Back in the ring, Sabin covers for 2, then Storm goes to the eyes. Roode and Devon are in now and they go toe to toe with Devon coming out on top of that and hitting a powerslam for 2. Tag out to Brother Ray and 3D with a double flapjack. Moore tags himself in and hits a flying bodypress on Roode for 2, but Roode tosses him to the floor where Storm rams him into the guardrail and beats the snot out of him before tossing him back in the ring. Storm tags in and Beer Money with a double elbow and double lungblower for 2. Roode tags back in and goes to work on Moore and then we HIT THE CHINLOCK! Moore fights out and gets a sunset flip for 2, but Roode kills him with a clothesline for 2. Storm tags in and now he decides to HIT THE CHINLOCK, Moore fights out and hits a flippy bulldog and makes the hot tag to Jesse Neal who comes in and cleans house on Roode. Beer Money double team him but Brother Ray tags himself in...and gets rolled up by Neal for 2. Now the MCMG come in and go to work on Team 3D before kicking Storm off the apron and wiping out Roode on the floor, and it's Neal and Devon, but Bubba hits him from behind and 3D hits the Doomsday Device...but Moore makes the save! They go for 3D on Moore but Neal breaks it up, allowing Moore to hit the Mooregasm on Brother Ray and Neal to hit the spear for the win.

Winners: Ink Inc

We go backstage to another close captioned promo with Ric Flair, who gives his thoughts on tonight's main event, and he says that if nothing else gets accomplished tonight, RVD's going to be limping into Sacrifice.

Rob Terry is backstage, and he's...WALKING! He faces Abyss next!

We're backstage and Jeff Hardy's putting his makeup on, and RVD comes in to discuss tonight's main event. We get more closed captioning as they talk about how into this the fans are. Jeff's a huge fan of RVD's as champion, but he envisions himself as the champion as well. It's all cool, and they'll see each other out in the ring. Let's head back to the ring!

Global Title Match: Rob Terry vs Abyss

Terry awaits Abyss in the ring, but Abyss doesn't come out, and we go backstage to discover why: he's being hauled out in handcuffs. He's asking for Dixie and Hulk or at least some answers, but the cops haul him out and stuff him in the back of the car anyway. Desmond Wolfe jumps him as they try to stuff him in the back of the car, but some security guys come and pull him off, but Hogan comes out and says not to worry because he doesn't know what's going on, but everything will be okay. Abyss is freaking out because they want him to take his mask off, and Hogan says he knows Abyss didn't do this and, as Abyss swears he didn't do it and asks Hogan to get Dixie, Hogan takes his mask off and pulls his hood over his head and then the cops stuff Abyss in the back of the car and take him off to the pokey. Well, I guess we can also call this one...

No Contest

Hogan says he's right behind Abyss and, as the car starts to pull away, Hogan starts JOGGING BEHIND THE POLICE CAR. This is too ridiculous for words. Rob Terry's staring off into space, apparently having trouble comprehending this situation, and his limited mental faculties allow Orlando Jordan to run in from behind and attack Rob Terry, lowblow him, and then lay him out with a pipe. Then he pulls out "the wild card" from a deck of cards, and leaves it on Terry as Tenay says that Jordan left his mark on the back of Rob Terry. I love the symbolism. Oh, and Terry's defending the Global Title against Orlando Jordan this weekend at Sacrifice. I can't wait. We're at commercial.

We're back, and Orlando Jordan is still in the ring. Oh joy. Jordan says it's time we cut the foreplay: he says he does whatever he wants because he is the TNA Wild Card. Jordan asks the fans if they really want him to leave, but he says that he'll fulfill every fan's wildest fantasy, and he challenges anyone from the back to come kick him out. Tomko and the midget he ate answer the challenge, so now we go to...

Orlando Jordan vs Tomko

Tomko tosses Jordan around, but Jordan gets a really nice double leg takedown, but misses a charge in the corner and Tomko press slams him into a fallaway slam. He goes for Snake Eyes, but Jordan slips out the back and hits a sweet dropkick. Jordan gouges away at the face of Tomko as I think about how odd it is that both of these men have beaten Samoa Joe. Jordan with a flying mare (which Tomko nearly can't make it over for), so Jordan gets another one and gets it right this time and we HIT THE CHINLOCK! Tomko escapes and hits a clothesline for 2, but Jordan with a lungblower for 2. Tomko goes for a double leg of his own but Jordan with a guillotine choke and the ref stops the match.

Winner: Orlando Jordan

We go backstage to Hulk Hogan, who is interrupted by Lacey Von Erich. Lacey shows him a video on her iPhone as we go back to commercial. OOOOH, I bet Lacey has what *really* happened with Chelsea and Abyss on that phone! I wonder what else she has videos of on that phone...ah, whatever. We're at commercial.

We're back, and Eric Bischoff tells Tara that her attitude lately has been piss poor, and he's making her wrestle again tonight. So, I guess we're going back to the ring...

Sarita vs Tara

Sarita is such an amazing wrestler, I really wish she'd get a better role than what I expect will be another two minute job to Tara. Sarita attacks her on the ramp and then tosses her back in the ring where the bell rings to start the match, and Tara immediately rolls out to the floor. Sarita follows her out and beats her up some more, then tosses her back in the ring and...beats her up some more. Finally Sarita with a suplex and Tara begs off. Sarita charges Tara and Tara monkey flips her to the apron, but Sarita lands on her feet and comes back in with a double stomp to Tara. Sarita tries to take Tara's knee brace off, the referee tries to pull her off and Sarita accidentally nails him in the eye, allowing Tara to take off the knee brace and whack Sarita with it for the three count. Such a crime.

Winner: Tara

Tara continues beating Sarita down with the knee brace, but the referee pulls her off and sends her to the back.

AJ Styles is in the back staring menacingly at the walls as he gets ready for tonight's main event, and it's next!

We're back and it's time for our main event! But first, Hardy and Styles make their entrances, and before RVD makes his entrance, he makes sure everyone knows that AJ Styles is going to get his ass kicked at Sacrifice, and tonight they're going to throw Jeff Hardy into the mix as well. We're at commercial!

TNA World Champion Rob Van Dam vs AJ Styles vs Jeff Hardy

Bell rings and all three men circle one another. RVD and Hardy begin to conspire against Styles, who attacks both of them but eats a spinkick from RVD. Hardy with a clothesline turns Styles inside out, then they whip him into the ropes and hit a double hiptoss. Hardy slams Styles and they high five before RVD hits a spinning legdrop. Hardy goes for the cover but RVD pulls him off. Hardy hits a spinning back kick to RVD to send him to the floor and it's Hardy and AJ. Hardy reverses a whip and hits a big backdrop and covers AJ for 2. RVD back in and he cleans house with kicks, then suplexes Hardy and then one for AJ. He covers AJ but Hardy breaks up the pin. Hardy with a gourdbuster and then one for AJ. Hardy with an Ace Crusher and then a neckbreaker for AJ and he covers RVD but AJ breaks up the pin. Now AJ's going to work on both men, hitting a Dragon Screw Legwhip on RVD and then a Stinger Splash in the corner on Hardy. AJ clips RVD's knee and then gets the figure four, but Hardy breaks it up and then goes up top, but AJ knocks him off the top to the floor. RVD monkey flips AJ out of the corner as Ken Anderson comes out to ringside and lays out Hardy. RVD comes off the top with a jumpkick, but AJ pulls the ref in the way and RVD nails the ref. RVD goes to attack AJ but sees Anderson on the floor and goes after him, and AJ uses the distraction to hit a somersault dive and wipe out all three men. AJ with a DDT on the floor on RVD, then tosses him back in the ring and covers RVD with his feet on the ropes for the win.

Winner: AJ Styles

Hardy asks for a mic after the match, he tells RVD to get out of the ring because he's got this. He tells Anderson to come to the ring so they can settle this now. Anderson starts to come down to the ring, then decides better of this and starts to head to the back. Hulk Hogan's music hits, and out comes Hogan himself and blocks Anderson's way. Anderson takes a shot at Hogan, but Hogan blocks and nails Anderson, allowing Hardy to come after Anderson and a brawl breaks out...as we go to commercial.

We're back and Hardy and Anderson are still brawling at ringside, and Anderson seems to have gotten the better of Hardy. Hardy turns the tables...literally, as he drags a table over by the broadcast area and then goes up the steps onto the broadcast table and hits a Swanton off the broadcast table onto Anderson and both go through the table. Hardy goes around high fiving the fans while we see twenty replays of the dive from different angles.

Finally we go to Lacey's cell phone video of Chelsea and Desmond Wolfe in the ladies room, as Chelsea and Desmond were in there planning the whole Abyss attack story and tearing up Chelsea's dress to make it look as if she had been attacked. So the whole thing was a ruse!!! I know, I'm as shocked as you are. We go to a promo video hyping this weekend's Sacrifice PPV, and we're out.

2011 - New Japan Pro Wrestling debuted in the United States in Rahway, NJ at the Rec Center, the first of a three day tour.  Mike Johnson filed the following live report:

We are on location in Rahway, New Jersey at the Rec Center for the debut event of New Japan Pro Wrestling's East Coast Invasion tour.

Pre-Show Notes:

*New Japan currently has a Japanese drumming ceremony going on to welcome everyone to the tour and bless the tour. The drum corp, New Jersey Bi Wa N Ko, featured ten children doing traditional drumming from Nagano, Japan.

*Several of the talents are doing a pre-show meet and greet with VIP ticketholders right now.

*Visiting at the show are Jay Lethal, Steve Mack, Sumie Sakai, ECWA champion Papadon and others.

*Ronnie Lang's Atlas Security are in the house handling crowd control.

*The officials tonight will be Tiger Hatori, Matt Bennett and Red Shoes Uno.The NJPW East Coast Invasion tour opened with a great video package on the tour.

Low Ki & Homicide vs. Jushin Liger & Tiger Mask

 

They all shook hands before the bell. The crowd went nuts as Homicide and Liger faced off. They went back and forth and went face to face. Liger used a single leg takedown and turned Homicide over into a bow and arrow, then cinched in a chinlock.

Liger scissored Homicide and held him to the mat. Homicide grabbed the ropes to break the hold. The crowd began clapping in unision. Liger took him back to the mat and used a triangle like choke. Homicide was able to slip out of it and grab a front facelock. He went for a suplex but Liger grabbed the ropes.

Tiger Mask and Low Ki both tagged in. They faced off. Mask kicked Ki and sent him into the corner. Ki leapt up and used a back kick to nail Tiger. Ki drilled him with stiff chops. Mask came back but was shoulderblocked down hard. Ki advanced on Mask but he kept evading him.

Ki kicked Mask hard in the chest. Mask retaliated with several of his own, snapmared him and drilled him with another. Liger tagged in. Ki tagged out to Homicide, who was worked over in the corner with chops. Liger went to the corner but Hoimicide pulled him off for a two count. Ki and Homicide worked over Liger.

The Strong Style Thugz controlled Liger. Homicide tied up Liger on the mat but Mask came in and kicked him to break it up. Kitagged in. He and Liger went back and forth with stiff chiops and kicks. Liger stopped a backdrop attempt and went for a powerbomb. Ki escaped and hit a springboard kick to the head for a two count.

Homicide entered the fray. Liger sent Ki into Homicide. He nailed Ki with the palm thrust and nailed the tiltowhirl backbreaker on Homicide. Mask tagged in and then tagged Homicide with a reverse kick. He then nailed Ki with a kick to the head in the corner and hit a double arm sitdown Tiger Driver for a two count.

Mask went for a moonsault but landed on his feet when he saw Ki. Ki went for a pinning combination. Liger broke it up. He nailed a powerbomb. Mask came off with a flying headbutt for a two count.

Ki muscled Tiger into the corner. Liger charged but Ki evaded it and he nailed his own partner. Homicide went for a Cop Killa on Mask but he slipped out. Ki was going to come off the top but changed his trajectory. Mask kicked him and went for a tombstone but Ki kicked out. Ki hit a springboard double stomp on Mask and nailed the Ki Krusher for the pin.

Excellent opener!

Satoshi Kojima vs. Kenny Omega

Kojima went right after the arm, then used a headlock takedown. Omega slipped out and they faced off. They locked up again, this time with Omega grabbing a headlock. Kojima sent him into the ropes. Omega came back with a shoulderblock. No effect. Rinse, repeat. Omega went for it a third time. Kojima went for a clothesline but Omega ducked and hit a dropsault.

Kojima went to the outside. Omega went for a plancha but Kojima moved. Kojima worked him over on the outside before tossing him back into the ring. Kojima controlled Omega when he returned to the ring, then nailed him with a DDT.

Omega started to fire back with several punches but was kicked off. They battled over a suplex with Omega finally nailing it. Kojima began to fire himself up as Omega chopped away at him. Kojima nailed a series of strikes but was dropkicked in the knee. Omega nailed a bulldog for a two count.

Kojima came back with rapid fire chops in the corner, destroying Omega. Kojima nailed a leaping forearm into the corner. He went to the top rope and came off with a top rope elbowdrop for a two count.

Omega came back with a leaping rana and then a rolling Samoan Drop, then a standing moonsault press for a two count. He went for a full nelson suplex but Kojima escaped and nailed a roaring elbow. Omega nailed a knee to the face but was nailed with an Ace Crusher.

Kojima nailed a big suplex and covered Omega for a two count but Omega kicked up at the last second. Omega came back and went for the Electric Chair but Kojima slipped out, nailed Omega in the back of the head and killed him with a LARIATTTTTTTTTTO for the pin.

IWGP Tag Team champions Giant Bernard & Karl Anderson, IWGP Junior Heavyweight champion Prince Devitt & Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Davey Richards, Jado & Gedo

There was a chant for Devitt. Bernard aka Albert in WWE and Nakamura started off. Bernard forced him into the corner. Nakamura slipped out and drilled several kicks and puinches but Bernard came back with several shots and a big shoulderblock. Nakamura fought back but Bernard reversed an irish whip into the corner and drilled him.

Anderson tagged in. Gedo tagged in and they went back and forth. Richards tagged in and nailed several kicks. Taguchi tagged in but Anderson caught him with a knee to the gut. Taguchi nailed a dropkick off the ropes and locked on an arm wringer.

He brought Anderson over to their corner. Taguchi's team all worked on him, tagging in and out. Richards tried to interfere but was sent out of the ring. Taguchi then nailed him off the apron to the floor. Richards charged the ring but was thrown over the top to the floor.

As five minutes expired, it broke down with everyone battling around and in the ring. When it settled down, Nakamura set up Taguchi in the corner and nailed a running kick to the gut. He began drilling him with knees while down on the mat but only received a two count for his efforts.

Richards tagged in and caught Taguchi with a spinning kick, then drilled him with a charging forearm in the corner. He suplexed Taguchi over and ascended to the top, coming off with a top rope headbutt. He went for a powerbomb but Taguchi rolled through for a sunset flip, Richards went for a clothesline but Taguchi caught him with a kick to the head.

Richards tagged Nakamura but Taguchi caught him with a dropkick and tagged in Bernard. Jado tried to interfere and weas tossed into the ring. Bernard threw him in the corner. Gedo tried to interfere but was caught and whipped into his partner. Bernard splashed Jado and drilled Gedo with a shoulderblock.

The Tag champs began dishing out all sorts of double team punishment on Nakamura. Nakamura came back with a kick and made the hot tag. Gedo and Jado faced off with Devitt and Taguchi. They nailed stereo dropkicks.

Devitt went for a dive but Nakamura cut him off. Bernard steamrolled Nakamura. Nakamura came back with a kick to the back of the head. Anderson drilled him with a cutter. Richards hit the Cactus Clothesline over the top on Anderson. Everyone battled on the outside. Devitt hit a SICK dive to the outside.

Devitt nailed Jado with a spinning kick (he missed) and then nailed a brainbuster for the pin.

Your winners, Devitt & Bernard & Anderson & Taguchi!

Another really good match.

Bernard battled to the back with Nakamura. Low Ki and Homicide attacked Devitt and Taguchi, who they are challenging for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team belt. Ki said that he once held the IWGP Junior Heavyweight title and tomorrow he is going to challenge Devitt tomorrow and he is going to hold it again. He promised they are going to bring all the precious metal back to NYC.

They made a declaration on the creation of the IWGP Intercontinental championship.

IWGP Intercontinental Title Tournament – Round 1: Hideo Saito vs. Yujiro Takahashi

Saito has been working a lot for WWC in Puerto Rico. They locked up and Takahashi forced him against the ropes. Clean break. They locked up again and this time Saito trapped him in the corner. He broke, then ripped at Takahashi's face.

Saito grabbed a side headlock but was sent into the ropes. He shoulderblocked Takahashi down. Takahashi went for a hiptoss but was cut off and nailed. Saito drilled him with several big right hands. Takahashi nailed several stiff clotheslines with the final one sending Saito up and over the ropes to the floor.

Takahashi and Saito battled on the floor and were nearly counted out but returned to the ring. Takahashi charged Saito in the corner but missed, nailing his shoulder in the ringpost. Saito charged the corner but was kicked off. He came back with a back elbow, cutting off Takahashi's momentum immediately.

Saito kicked and punched away at Takahashi. He cinched in a side chinlock. This match is a littl slower paced with Saito working as a heel here. Takahashi finally came back with a great overhead belly to belly suplex. The crowd started to rally behind him. He ducked a clothesline attemt and began nailing several chops and leg lariats. He drilled Saito with a clothesline and pulled him off the mat, nailing a big powerslam for a two count.

Saito slipped out of a clothesline attempt and drilled him with a German suplex. He nailed a cradle suplex for a two count. Saito nailed a leaping headbutt off the top. Takahashi kicked out and nailed a whirlybird then drove him into the mat for the pin.

IWGP Intercontinental Title Tournament – Round 1: Tetsuya Naito vs. Josh Daniels

Daniels was a substitute for the injured Tama Tonga.

They locked up and went back and forth. Naito caught Daniels with a series of deep armdrags and cinched in a armbar. Daniels fought to his feet but was taken back down to the mat. Naito nailed several hiptosses and a back senton splash.

Naito went to rebound off the ropes but was caught with a knee to the gut and dispatched to the floor. Daniels followed and chopped him, then whipped him into the railing. Daniels broke the referee's count and rolled back out. He draped Naito across the apron, called the handheld camera over and drilled him across the chest with an elbow.

Daniels brought Naito back into the ring and continued controlling him. Daniels set up for a suplex and drilled it, then used his legs to wear down Naito, scissoring him. Daniels measured and chopped away at Naito, then whipped him into the ropes and nailed Naito with another shot, sending him to the mat.

Daniels locked in an armbar, then preened to the crowd. He nailed Naito in the chest, then choked him against the ropes. He went to the apron and kneed Naito in head, then used his boot to choke Naito against the ropes.

Daniels snapmared Naito and locked in a nerve hold. Naito finally came back with an enziguiti and drilled Daniels into the corner. Naito whipped him but Daniels reversed. Naito went up and over and caught Daniels, then nailed a hangman's neckbreaker. Naito came off the top with a beautiful missile dropkick for a two count.

Naito went for a back suplex but Daniels used several elbows to break the attempt. Daniels kicked Naito in the chest several times. He used a side Russian legsweep into a submission hold, then rolled over Naito for a near fall.

Daniels hit a nice running clothesline in the corner and nailed a nice back suplex. Naito started to fight back. They exchanged strikes in the middle of the ring. Naito caught a charging Daniels with an over the shoulder powerslam for a two count. Naito went for a back suplex but Daniels reversed it and nailed it for a two cout.

Naito came back with a leaping clothesline and a back suplex into a bridge for a two count. He slammed Daniels and went to the top for a twisting moonsault press, nailing it and scoring the pinfall.

Your winner, Tetsuya Naito!

IWGP Intercontinental Title Tournament – Round 1: Toru Yano vs. Dan Maff

Yano spit water in Maff's face immediately and started stomping the hell out of him. Maff came back with a clothesline and dared him to come on. Yano offered his hand and kicked Maff in the gut. Maff came back with a boot to the head and a back senton splash.

Yano went to the floor where Maff hit a suicide dive to the outside. They battled on the outside. Yano whipped Maff into the guard rail. They continued to battle outside the ring. Yano left Maff on the floor where he was almost counted out but rolled back into the ring at the last second.

Yano continued the beating, choking Maff with his ring tape. The referee tried to stop him but was shoved to the mat. Yano stomped Maff out of the ring and to the floor. Maff returned and chopped Yano, who responded in kind. Maff stopped an irish whip attempt and sent Yano into the corner. Maff nailed a series of elbowsmashes in the corner and then hit a back splash and a cannonball on Yano.

Yano came back and went for a clothesline but missed. Maff hit a rolling kick, sending Yano to the mat. Maff went for the Burning Hammer but Yano slipped out. Maff caught him with a back suplex for a two count.

Maff charged Yano, who nailed him with an umbrella he carried into the ring. Maff bumped the referee. Yano nailed him in the head with the umbrella. Maff came back to hit a DDT but there was no referee to count the fall.

Yano lowblowed Maff and covered him for the pin.

Match was OK. The crowd didn't seem to care for the ref bump and the cheap heat finish in his environment.

IWGP Intercontinental Title Tournament – Round 1: MVP vs. Kazuchika Okada

Okada is the one and the same that was running around dressed like Kato in TNA.

MVP had a huge star aura when he came out.

He rode Okada to the mat. They went back and forth with some really good mat work. Okada scissored MVP's neck and tried to wear him down. He kicked MVP in the back. MVP fired up, took him over and kicked Okada across the back. Okada responded in kind. MVP then nailed a series of kicks to the back and hit a kick while rebounding off the ropes for a two count.

MVP kicked Okada out of the ring, then nailed him with a plancha. That brought up a huge MVP chant. He rolled Okada back into the ring for a two count. MVP missed a charge and ended up on the apron. Okada kicked him off to the floor, then followed him. He slammed MVP's head into the apron.

Okada brought him back into the ring and worked him over with a series of elbow strikes in the corner. Okada drilled his neck and went for a cravate, then hit a rolling neckbreaker for a two count.

Okada went for another but MVP fired back with a series of rights. Okada hit a dropkick out of the corner. Okada cranked his neck. They exchanged forearms and punches in the center. Okada got the better of the exchange. He whipped MVP into the corner but was nailed with an elbow. MVP drilled him with several clotheslines and thrusts.

MVP nailed the Ballin; elbow and a fisherman's suplex for a two count. They battled back and forth with forearms. MVP drilled him with a series of forearm smashes, an uppercut and a clothesline for a two count.

MVP draped Okada on the top rope and worked him over, weakening him for a superplex attempt. Okada tried to fight him and showed MVP down off the ropes. Okada nailed a big missile dropkick and covered MVP for a two count.

Okada lifted MVP up for a Uranage and then slammed him down for a two count. Okada went back to the top rope but was kicked in the face as he came off the ropes. MVP covered him for a two count. MVP missed a Yakuza Kick and was rolled up for a two count.

MVP finally nailed the Playmaker and cinched in a submission (I couldn't see what it was), forcing Okada to submit.

IWGP Heavyweight champiom Hiroshi Tanahashi & Togi Makabe vs. Rhino & Charlie Haas

All four faced off before the bell. Tanahashi received a huge chant as the match began. Haas and Tanahashi started off. Haas grabbed a side headlock and cinched it in hard. He was sent off into the ropes and shoulderblocked Tanahashi down. Tanahashi came back with a series of deep armdrags. He and Haas went and forth and faced off.

Makabe tagged in. He and Haas went back and forth, controlling the other. They are building well. Haas was shoved into his corner and tagged in Rhino. Makabe played games with Rhino's head by tagging back out to Tanahashi.

Rhino used his power to control him but Tanahashi came back with a bodypress for a near fall. Rhino drilled him with a series of stiff chops. He whipped the champion into the corner and sent him to the floor. Rhino tossed him back in and went for a powerbomb but Tanahashi escaped and drilled him with a cutter. Rhino cut him off and tagged back out to Haas.

Haas rode Tanahashi to the mat. Tanahashi fired back but was flapjacked down for a two count. Rhino and Haas took turns working over Tanahashi, tagging in and out. Tanahashi finally made the tag to Makabe. He and Rhino brawled to the floor, including Rhin being whipped into a guard rail and nearly taking out a lighting tower in the process.

Makabe and Tanahashi took turns working over Rhino. Rhino made a comeback on Tanahashi, nailing a spinebuster. He made the hot tag to Haas, who drilled Tanahashi with a series of clotheslines and strikes. Haas caught Tanahashi with a big overhead suplex, then an Olympic Slam.

Haas faced off with Makabe, then nailed another slam on Tanahashi. Makabe interfered. He and Rhino slugged it out with Rhino getting the better of the exchange. He was cut off and whipped into the corner. Makabe clotheslined him into the corner and rained down upon him with punches in the corner.

Rhino came back with a belly to belly suplex for a two count. Haas and Tanahashi began brawling on the floor. Rhino gored Makabe and scored the pin.

This week’s show starts off with a look back at Christian’s World Title victory at Extreme Rules over Alberto Del Rio. Then we go to last Friday when Christian’s boyhood dream ended after five days thanks to Teddy Long and Randall Keith Orton. What is next for Captain Charisma?

We are live on tape from Nashville, Tennessee and your announcers are Josh ‘Rinne’ Mathews, Michael ‘Sedin’ Cole, and Booker ‘Ward’ T.

Christian comes to the ring to talk to the people of Nashville and the rest of the WWE Universe. He says that there has been a lot of talk about Teddy Long’s decision to let the WWE Universe choose the number one contender for the World Title. There was some controversy and Christian says that his Peeps were not happy with the decision. Christian says that he respects Teddy’s decision to make the match. He says that it is Teddy Long’s job to put on a fun, exciting, unpredictable show week in and week out for the fans. Christian says that he is cool with it and if Teddy isn’t doing that, he isn’t doing his job.

Christian says that he wants to congratulate the new champion Randy Orton. Christian says that Randy didn’t do anything that he wouldn’t do. He also says that he is looking forward to his rematch in two weeks at Over the Limit. Christian says that the result at Over the Limit will be different because a 100 percent ready Christian will be able to beat Randy Orton.

Sheamus interrupts Christian and he comes to the ring. Sheamus tells the fella to relax and he wants to commend Teddy Long as well. He loved watching the moment that Christian waited seventeen years to achieve vanish in the blink of an eye. Sheamus also agrees with Teddy that we need to give the fans what they want. Sheamus says that they want a match between them right now.

Mark Henry’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring and Mark has an evil smile on his face. Mark tells Sheamus that he needs to pump his brakes for a second. Mark says that the people did enjoy seeing Christian having his dream shattered last week. However, Sheamus isn’t the person the people who came from Raw that the people want to see facing Christian. Henry calls Sheamus the red headed stepchild who talks funny. Mark says that the people came to see the World’s Strongest Man.

Sheamus says that it sounds like the people came to see him because they didn’t really react to Mark’s comments.

Mark acknowledges that the people might not be here to see him, but he says that maybe they came to see the World’s Strongest Man versus Sheamus.

Sheamus says that maybe they came to see him and Mark in a handicap match against . . . Christian.

The mics are dropped and Christian goes after Henry and hits him with his mic. Sheamus and Henry use their numbers advantage to work over Christian.

Randy Orton comes to the ring and he takes care of Sheamus and then Orton and Christian deal with Henry. They give Sheamus a double clothesline to send him to the floor. Henry is then dumped over the top rope so Orton and Christian are alone in the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Teddy Long is in the hallway and we see the camera pan out and he is talking to Randy Orton and Christian. Teddy tells them that he saw what just happened and tonight the main event is a tag match with Mark Henry and Sheamus against Christian and Randy Orton.

Teddy leaves and Christian thanks Orton for helping him. Randy tells Christian that he has his own reasons for coming to the ring to help Christian. Orton reminds Christian that a few minutes ago, Christian said that he could beat Randy Orton if he is at 100 percent. Orton says that he wants Christian ready and at his best so when he beats Christian, there is no doubt who the better man is.

We go back to the ring and Chavo Guerrero interrupts Tony Chimmel to do the introduction for Sin Cara and he says that Sin Cara is following in his footsteps.

Match Number One: Sin Cara versus Daniel Bryan

Bryan with a wrist lock but Sin Cara with a few flips and arm drag but Bryan gets a near fall. Cara with a leg sweep and he gets a near fall. Cara kips up and we have a standoff in the ring. They lock up and Bryan with a single leg take down and Bryan gets a few near falls but Cara with a bridge. Cara with an arm drag but Bryan with a drop toe hold and he starts to work on the arm. Bryan continues to work on the arm but Cara gets back to his feet and after kicking Bryan, he climbs the turnbuckles and hits a twisting arm drag.

Cara with a handspring back elbow that sends Bryan to the floor. Cara with a flip dive onto Bryan and we go to commercial.

We are back and Cara with shoulders to Bryan. Bryan with a kick to Cara and then Bryan goes to the turnbuckles. Cara tries to take Bryan to the mat but Bryan kicks Cara off the turnbuckles and then Bryan with a missile drop kick for a near fall. Bryan sends Cara into the turnbuckles and then Bryan with a series of kicks in the corner. Bryan with an Irish whip and then he hits the running drop kick into the corner and he gets a near fall.

Bryan with a surfboard on Cara and then he turns it into a near fall. Bryan with a snap mare and then he works on Cara’s back. Bryan kicks Cara in the chest a few times and he gets a near fall. Bryan with a hammer lock but Cara with elbow followed by a snap mare. Cara with a rollup for a near fall. Bryan with an English uppercut but Cara with a rana and then he kicks Bryan in the corner.

Bryan sends Cara to the apron and then Cara with an enzuigiri from the apron and then Cara hits a springboard cross body for a near fall. Bryan counters the handspring back elbow and Bryan tries for the LeBell Lock but Cara is able to avoid the hold and he sends Bryan to the floor. Cara with a baseball slide to the floor and Bryan kicks Cara. Bryan rolls Cara back into the ring and Chavo grabs Bryan’s leg. Bryan kicks Chavo off.

Cara with a kick to Bryan’s head and then Cara hits the C4 for the three count.

Winner: Sin Cara

After the match, Sin Cara sees the replay and he wants to know why Chavo did what he did. Chavo raises Cara’s hand but Cara does not want Chavo raising his arm after what he saw. Chavo says that he helped Cara and he doesn’t have to. Cara pushes Chavo down and he points at Chavo before leaving the ring.

We take a look back at what happened last week on Smackdown when Ezekiel Jackson defeated Big Show thanks to help from the members of the Corre. Then we see Jackson walk away from the Corre. We fast forward to later on last week’s Smackdown when the Corre gave Jackson his walking papers.

Will Ezekiel Jackson tell us what happened, is he here? Shouldn’t someone know if he is in the building?

We are back and Trace Adkins is in the crowd. Do you remember when he performed at Tribute to the Troops?

Layla is in the ring and she says that her friendship with Michelle McCool came to an end at Extreme Rules when she finally beat Michelle in the Loser Leaves WWE Match. Layla says that she hurt her knee during the match. She says that it was worth it to suffer the knee injury because she was finally able to get rid of the poison from the WWE.

Michael Cole interrupts Layla and comes into the ring and says that nobody cares about her and Michelle McCool and nobody cares about Layla or any of the Divas. He says that she has been inhaling a little too much hayseed in the Volunteer State. Cole says that the people want him to talk about Tennessee’s own Jerry Lawler.

On Monday night, Lawler challenged him to a match and his friend Jack Swagger accepted. When he beats Lawler at Over the Limit, Lawler is going to personally induct him into the Hall of Fame and will give Cole his ring. Cole says that he is going to show the ring to everyone and he says that his mother is going to love it.

Layla is so impressed with what Cole just said. She tells Cole to shut up and do everyone a favor and crawl back into his glass house.

Cole says that Layla is like all the Divas, a pretty little crybaby. Cole says that the Divas shouldn’t even be in the WWE.

Cole is interrupted by Kharma’s music and Cole laughs at Layla for what is probably going to happen to her in about a minute because Layla is not getting out of the ring.

Cole trips Layla as she tries to get out of the ring and that allows Kharma to grab Layla and hit the Implant Buster.

Cole yells at Layla and then Kharma looks at Cole and it looks like another Diva is going to feel the wrath of Kharma. Cole retreats into the safety of his litter box and Kharma looks through Cole before leaving the ringside area. The referees check on Layla who is holding her leg after the attack by Kharma.

The Corre is walking in the back as we go to commercial.

We are back and Did You Know that WWE TV can be watched in a lot of homes all over the world?

Before our next match, Wade Barrett has something to say to Kane. He says that Kane might have some reservations tonight about coming to the ring because his tag team partner is down in Mexico with the rest of the Raw brand. Barrett says that the Corre is now stronger than ever.

Match Number Two: Wade Barrett with Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel versus Kane

Barrett with a side head lock and hip toss followed by a side head lock take down. Barrett backs Kane into the corner and he punches and kicks Kane in the corner. Barrett with a front face lock but Kane with a snap mare and drop kick to Barrett for a near fall. Barrett kicks Kane in the knee and he head butts Kane. Kane with an Irish whip and uppercut followed by a clothesline. Barrett goes to the floor and we go to commercial.

We are back and Barrett chokes Kane in the corner. Barrett tries for a suplex but Kane blocks it and hits a suplex of his own. Kane punches Barrett and sends him into the turnbuckles. Kane with an uppercut but Barrett sends Kane into the turnbuckles and then he sends Kane’s shoulder into the turnbuckles. Barrett with a single arm DDT and he gets a near fall on Kane. Barrett tries for an arm bar on Kane but Kane fights him off.

Kane punches Barrett in the ribs and then punches Barrett in the head. Barrett with an Irish whip followed by a Boss Man Slam for a near fall. Barrett returns to the arm but Kane continues to fight him off. Barrett with a hammer lock but Kane gets him on his shoulders and hits a Samoan drop and both men are down.

Kane with a series of punches to Barrett. Kane with a few clotheslines into the corner followed by a side slam. Slater gets on the apron to distract Kane and Barrett with a kick and he tries for Wasteland but Kane escapes the hold. Kane with a boot to the chest and then Kane goes to the floor and he sends Slater over the announce table and Kane punches Gabriel.

Barrett misses a boot and Kane with a punch and then he goes up top for the clothesline and it is time for a choke slam but Slater and Gabriel interfere and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Kane by disqualification

Kane has Slater and Gabriel by the throat for a choke slam, but Barrett attacks Kane from behind. It is time for a three on one attack as they pummel Kane with a series of punches. They help get Kane up for Wasteland and Barrett hits it. They pull Kane into the corner for Justin Gabriel to hit the 450 Splash, but Ezekiel Jackson’s old music plays and he attacks his former Corre allies.

Jackson sends Gabriel and Slater to the floor. Barrett with a boot to the head but Jackson sends Barrett into the corner and Jackson with kicks and punches. Slater and Gabriel attack Jackson from behind. We have another three on one beat down. Slater hits the inverted DDT and Gabriel goes up top for the 450 splash and since they have only kicked out one member of the Corre, nobody else is going to stop Gabriel from hitting the 450 splash. After the physical beatdown, the verbal attack continues.

Sheamus and Mark Henry are in the hallway and they are talking about something but we cannot hear what they are saying.

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time for the Great Khali and Runjin Singh to come to the ring and they have cowboy hats on because that is how you know we are in Nashville.

Runjin says that Khali welcomes everyone to the Music City edition of the Khali Kiss Kam. Singh says that Khali is a big country music fan and it is time to find out who will be Khali’s special friend tonight.

We have a winner and she is brought to the ring. We find out that her name is Joy and she is from Nashville. It is time for the Most Electrifying Kiss in Sports Entertainment and he lays down the Punjabi Pucker.

Jinder Mahal comes out to the ring and he has no music playing so either he doesn’t have entrance music or he is very serious. Jinder slaps Khali in the head and it knocks off Khali’s hat. Khali wants to do something to Mahal, but Mahal yells at Khali and slaps him a second time. Mahal leaves the ring.

Christian and Randy Orton are in their locker room and Christian asks Orton if they are ready. Orton says that he is ready. Christian says that he will keep up his end and tells Orton to make sure he keeps up his end.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring with his bag men. Cody says that based on the smirks on everyone’s faces, it must be time for Cody to entertain everyone. Cody says that he is not the freak here, the people in the crowd are. That is why at great expense to himself, he is providing everyone with paper bags. He says that should be entertaining enough and should distract everyone from the overall absence of attractiveness tonight. Cody says that nobody on Smackdown or in the WWE is exempt from these paper bags. Not even a priceless friend. Cody gives Ted a bag but Ted refuses the gift.

Match Number Three: Ted DiBiase versus Cody Rhodes in a Battle of the Legacy Lackeys

They lock up and Ted backs Cody into the corner but Cody with a kick and a side head lock followed by a punch. Ted with a drop kick and then he sends Cody into the turnbuckles. Ted with a series of kicks but Cody with an Irish whip and a drop kick. Ted with an inside cradle for a near fall.

Cody with a punch but Ted with a rollup into a bridge for a near fall. Cody gets a near fall of his own. Ted misses a charge into the corner and he hits the ring post with his shoulder. Cody with knees to Ted as Ted comes off the ropes. Cody with an elbow to the head and then he puts Ted in a hammer lock and adds a cross face. Cody with a knee when Ted tries to escape. Cody with head butts using his mask and then he yells at Ted.

Ted with snake eyes followed by a punch and clothesline. Ted with a reverse atomic drop followed by a rebound clothesline. Ted tries for Dream Street but Cody backs Ted into the corner. Cody with the springboard round kick and then he hits Cross Rhodes for the three count.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

We go to commercial.

We are back and we go into a local bar near the arena.

Matt Striker is in the interview area with the Corre and he wants to know what kind of statement they made tonight. Barrett says that they have been making statements for weeks with what they have done over the last few weeks to Big Show, Kane, and now Ezekiel Jackson. Gabriel says that they would like to invite Jackson to come back next week for some more, once he wakes up from tonight’s beating.

Barrett decides to up the ante and he makes a challenge to Jackson for Over the Limit for a match. Slater suggests that Barrett put the Intercontinental Title on the line. Barrett says that they should go make some more statements.

Match Number Four: Christian and Randy Orton versus Mark Henry and Sheamus

Christian and Sheamus start things off and they lock up and Sheamus backs Christian into the corner and then he connects with a knee and forearm before putting Christian in a side head lock. Sheamus with a shoulder tackle followed by knee drops. Sheamus misses a short arm clothesline and Christian with a side head lock. Christian with punches to Sheamus and then Christian goes to the turnbuckles for a back elbow and he gets a near fall.

Sheamus with a back elbow and then he tags in Henry. Henry kicks Christian and punches him and then he kicks Christian in the head. Henry tries for a press slam but Christian gets out of the hold and he tags in Orton. Christian traps the leg to allow Orton to get in some punches. Orton with a drop kick to Henry followed by a boot to the head and a leaping knee drop for a near fall.

Henry with a head butt to Orton and then he kicks Orton. Henry runs Orton into the turnbuckles and then he head butts Orton. Orton and Henry exchange punches and then he sends Henry over the top rope to the floor. Christian comes over to protect his tag team partner when he thinks that Sheamus is going to get involved.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Henry misses a diving head butt when Orton rolls out of the way. Christian tags in and he hits a few clotheslines but Henry stays on his feet. Christian hits a drop kick from the turnbuckles to get Henry off his feet. Henry with an Irish whip but he runs into Christian’s boots. Henry avoids a tornado DDT by pushing Christian off and then he follows that with a clothesline.

Sheamus is tagged in and he gets a near fall. Sheamus hits a short arm clothesline and he gets another near fall. Sheamus with a knee to the back and then he applies an arm bar with a cross face. Christian with punches to Sheamus but Sheamus with a power slam and he gets a near fall.

Henry tags back in and Henry kicks Christian in the back. Henry sends Christian sternum first into the turnbuckles. Henry stands on Christian’s chest and then Henry distracts the referee to allow Sheamus to connect with a forearm to the chest. Henry gets a near fall.

Sheamus tags in and he chokes Christian in the ropes. Sheamus with a forearm to Christian’s back. Sheamus with an Irish whip but he runs into Christian’s boots. Christian with a punch to Sheamus and then Christian tries for a cross body from the turnbuckles but Sheamus catches him. Christian counters a power slam with an inverted DDT.

Orton tags in and he hits a few clotheslines. Orton knocks Henry off the apron and then Orton with a power slam to Sheamus followed by a back breaker. Sheamus avoids the IEDDT and Sheamus hits the uranage back breaker for a near fall. Sheamus sets for the brogue kick but Sheamus misses and goes to the floor. Orton is able to hit the IEDDT this time and then he twists into the RKO push ups. Sheamus sends Orton into the ropes and Christian makes a blind tag before Sheamus gives Orton a knee to the midsection. Christian hits the Killswitch on Sheamus while Orton gives Henry an RKO and Christian gets the three count.

Winners: Randy Orton and Christian

After the match, Orton and Christian shake hands and we go to credits.

2011 - WWE ran Mexico City, Mexico with the following results:

- Chris Masters beat Jack Swagger.

- Percy Watson beat Zack Ryder.  R-Truth attacked Percy after the match and R-Truth cut a heel promo.

- R-Truth beat Evan Bourne.

- Mason Ryan beat Primo.

- US Champion Kofi Kingston and Tag Team Champion Big Show beat Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk.  Del Rio got a big pop before the match.

- Divas Championship: Brie Bella (c) with Nikki Bella beat Eve Torres.  After the match, Kharma came out and destroyed Eve with her finisher.

Sin Cara beat Dolph Ziggler.  Cara had a huge pop from his hometown.

MainEvent for the WWE Championship: John Cena (c) beat The Miz.
- Miz cut a heel promo about Mexico City-based America to a chorus of boos.
- Cena posed and high- fived the fans after the match but Del Rio and Cara's pops were bigger.

2012 - TNA held their Sacrifice PPV.  Mike Johnson filed the following TV report:

Welcome to PWInsider.com's live, ongoing TNA Sacrifice PPV.

The PPV opened with Earl Hebner going into TNA champion Bobby Roode's locker room to retrieve the TNA title so it could be hung above the ring for the Ladder Match. Roode told Hebner to go tell Hogan that he can have the belt but it's coming back to him.

We went into the usual well produced opening video.

Christy Hemme looks great in a shimmering silver outfit.

TNA Tag Team champions Magnus & Samoa Joe vs. Kazarian & Christopher Daniels

The announcers noted its been an eventful few days for the challengers given the reveal of the photos of AJ Styles and Dixie Carter.

Nice reaction for the tag champions.   Magnus and Daniels started.    They locked up and Daniels grabbed a sideheadlock.  Magnus slipped out but Daniels took him to the mat.  Magnus reversed and began working over Daniels' arm.

Magnus took Daniels down with a side headlock takeover.   Daniels slipped out and charged but was shoulderblocked and slammed down.   Daniels worked him over with a series of shoulderblocks.   Daniels went for a right but it was blocked and Magnus drilled him with a series of uppercuts.  Daniels rebounded off the ropes but was caught and nailed with a suplex.

Daniels was pinballed back and forth between the champions.  Joe tagged in and worked over Daniels with a series of strikes in the corner.   Joe set up Daniels for the Facewash but Kazarian pulled his partner out of the ring to the floor.

Daniels stalled on the floor but was drilled with a running back elbow when he returned to the ring.  Kazarian tagged in but the champions tagged in and out working him over.  Joe drilled him with a back splash senton.   Daniels interfered, tripping Magnus and allowing Kazarian to nail him with  big legdrop.  The crowd chanted for Joe to tag in.

The champions worked over Magnus, scoring several near falls and coming up with ways to work him over while bending the rulebook.  The crowd was nuts chanting for Joe.

They showed Joseph Park in the crowd watching.  The announcers noted that Abyss had warned his brother not to get involved at the PPV but apparently he had blown that off.

Kazarian drilled Magnus with a kick to the back and tried to work him over with a submission.   Joe finally got the hot tag,  He drilled Kazarian with a snap powerslam.  Daniels charged and was caught with an Uranage in the corner.   

Joe and Magnus whipped Daniels into the corner.  Joe was kicked off by Daniels and nailed with a jumping DDT by Kazarian.   Daniels nailed Magnus with a STO but Magnus kicked up.   Joe pulled Magnus out of the ring.  Daniels went for the BME but Magnus rolled out of the way.  Daniels landed on his feet but was kicked hard by Joe.  Magnus came off with a flying elbow but Kazarian broke it up.

Magnus pulled Kazarian out and slammed him onto the apron.   He went for a move on Daniels but was chopblocked.   The challengers nailed a version of the old Midnight Express double goozle and scored the pin on Magnus.

Your winners and new TNA Tag Team champions, Kazarian & Daniels!

Solid back and forth tag match and a good opener. I just wish they had more time because what was good could have been great with more time for the bout, but no complaints here. The title win could set up a three way feud with all four here and the team of Styles & Angle.

The announcers welcomed everyone to the show and asked fans to send questions via TNA's Twitter to Bully Ray and Austin Aries.  

TNA Knockouts champion Gail Kim vs. Brooke Tessmacher.

Tessmacher came out in an awesome red white and blue outfit.  That led to Taz making an Avengers reference.

Kim nailed Brooke before the bell, ran her into the buckles and kicked the hell out of her.  She drilled Brooke with a series of forearms and sent her into the ring.  Tessmacher reversed a hiptoss and nailed a head scissors.  She went for Kim's Eat Defeat move and Kim rolled out of the ring.

Back in the ring, Brooke ducked a move and nailed a clothesline.  She hit a leaping clothesline out of the corner.  Brooke went for a spear on the apron but Kim leapt up and came down across Brooke's back.

Brooke was nailed with a uppercut and clothesline for a two count.  Kim sent her into the corner and splashed her horizontally in the corner.   Kim stood over Brooke's throat.  The crowd tried to rally Brooke, who was caught with an over the knee backbreaker.  She forced Brooke into a backwards position, atttempting a submission.

Kim drilled her with a clothesline, then mocked her by rubbing her rear in Brooke's face.   Tessmacher came back with a leaping forearm but was too hurt to mount a comeback.  The referee began counting them down but they returned to their feet.  Kim charged Brooke but was nailed with a kick.  Brooke whipped Kim into the corner and grabbed her with an X-Factor.

Tessmacher went to the top and drilled her with a flying elbow for a two count.   They went back and forth.  Kim went for her finisher but Brooke slipped out and nailed it on Kim.  Kim ended up bounced out to the floor from the force.  Brooke tossed her back in but was only able to score a two count.  The crowd was chanting hard for Brooke.

Brooke went for Kim but was grabbed in a double leg takedown.  Kim put her feet on the ropes and scored the pin.

Your winner and still Knockouts champion, Gail Kim!

Decent match.  They were over-achieving given Tessmacher's level of experience.  There were a few moments where they were off by a second or two with timing but this wasn't bad at all.  Tessmacher has something really unique about her and is trying really hard.  She was doing all these athletic moves, like she was trying to prove she could pull it off and could handle the push.  You have to respect that.  Kim worked hard as well.

Jeremy Borash interviewed the new Tag Team champions.  Daniels sent a message to AJ Styles - "a picture is worth a thousand words."  He told Styles there was more to come and told everyone else they have the right to worship the new champions.

TNA TV champion Devon vs. Robbie E vs. Robbie T.

For simplicity sake, the challengers will be known as T and E here.

The challengers surrounded Devon.  He went after them both but the numbers game was too much and they worked him over in the corner.   T was whipped into Devon, but the champion ducked.  T was clotheslined over the top to the floor.

Devon was left with E, who begged off.  Devon worked him over with right hand after right hand in the corner.   He nailed a Thesz Press and peppered E with punches.  He nailed T off the apron and drilled E with a spinebuster for a two count.

T pulled Devon to the floor and clotheslined him.   He tossed the champion back in but E told him to back off.  E began kicking at Devon and nailing him with punches.   E smashed Devon's head into the turnbuckles and kept telling T that he had Devon and to back off.   The challengers drilled Devon and E covered him for a two count.

T drilled Devon with a sideslam.  E came off the ropes with a fistdrop for a two count.   They whipped Devon into the ropes but he kicked E off and nailed a leaping shoulderblock on T.  He drilled E with one as well.

Devon nailing a charging Avalanche in the corner on E, sending him to the floor. The crowd was bigtime behind Devon.  T nailed him from behind and nailed an over the shoulder running powerslam but E distracted the referee to prevent the pinfall.  The challengers had words and E told T that he was in charge and would be champion.  T didn't want to hear that and E attempted to calm his bodyguard down. 

Devon charged from behind and knocked them into each other in the corner, then rolled up T for the pin.

Your winner and still TNA TV champion, Devon!

As good as this was going to get.  Not bad.

After the match, E was screaming at Devon, unaware that T was behind him furious.  He backed into T.  He tried to get T to calm down and hugged him but T wanted nothing to do with him.  He finally hugged E but it was obvious he wasn't a happy camper.

Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson

Anderson really needs a good showing here as his work since returning has been spotty and haphazard.  He did his own ring announcement.  Hardy looked to be limping a bit.  They shook hands before the bout.

They locked up and Anderson backed Hardy into the corner.  Clean break.   They locked up again and this time, Anderson grabbed a side headlock.   Hardy sent him into the ropes but was shoulderblocked down.  Hardy caught him with a series of hiptosses and deep armdrags.  Anderson was able to reverse an armbar but Hardy fought back and controlled Anderson.

Anderson drilled Hardy in the corner.  Hardy came out with headscissors out of the ring, sending Anderson to the floor.  Hardy drilled him with a sliding kick.   Hardy slammed Anderson into the ring steps.   Mike Tenay was surprised Hardy used the steps so soon after showing respect to Anderson at the start.  Hardy charged and leapt off the steps but Anderson moved out of the way.  Hardy crashed into the guard rail.  Anderson rolled Hardy back in and nailed him with a kick.

Hardy dropped down into a jawbreaker and nailed a Side Russian Legsweep.  He nailed the legdrop cruncher for a two count.   Hardy nailed Anderson in the corner.  He went to go into the corner for a kick but was nailed as he jumped.  Anderson clotheslined Hardy for a two count.

Anderson began working over Hardy's wrist.  He drilled Hardy with a shoulderblock and worked over his arm.  He snapped Hardy over and dropped his knees over Hardy's shoulder.   Anderson worked on the arm as the crowd clapped and tried to rally Hardy.

Anderson maintained control for some time on Hardy.  The crowd rallied Hardy, who tried to fight back one-armed.  He finally nailed Anderson's own move, The Mic Check, but was too spent to follow up.  Big "Hardy" chant. 

Anderson nailed Hardy with a turnbuckle smash but Hardy fired back with several punches.  Anderson cut him off but was nailed with a clothesline and several elbows.  Hardy hit a flying clothesline as he rebounded off the ropes, selling the arm.

Anderson nailed Hardy with an elbow and sent him into the corner.  Hardy went up for a move but there was no water in the pool.  Anderson nailed Hardy with the Twist of Fate for a two count.  Anderson went for a back senton splash but Hardy moved out of the way.  Hardy nailed the Swanton for a two count.

They battled back and forth as they fought to return to their feet.   They lobbied bombs at each other.  Hardy nailed an inverted atomic drop.  He went for the Cruncher but was shoved off by Anderson and rolled up for the pin.  Hardy obviously kicked up at two, so we'll see if that becomes the storyline.

Your winner, Ken Anderson!

Hardy argued the call.  Anderson offered his hand and Hardy finally took it.  They hugged. 

Easily the best Anderson match in a long time in terms of telling a story and working holds.  It was good and was just getting into a really good groove when they went to the finish.  Again, this may have benefited from a few more minutes but it was a good bout.

Backstage, Christy Hemm interviewed TNA X-Division champion Austin Aries.  A Twitter fan asked if Aries was intimidated.  Aries said that he wasn't.  He said that his entire life, people tried to intimidate him but it's not in his DNA to be intimidated.  He said that in recent weeks, Ray spit in his face and kicked him in the balls and tonight, he gets his respect back.  He said Ray thinks bigger is better but the reality is better is better.  He asked Ray how it was going to feel when this little man drops him on his big head and promised to beat Ray.

They showed the return of Abyss on Impact Wrestling from this Thursday.

In the crowd, Jeremy Borash interviewed Joseph Park.  He talked about how much he's enjoyed seeing the show.  Borash asked what he thought about the return of Abyss.  He said he didn't see it because of what Bully Ray did to him and he was off getting composed.  He said he wouldn't be shocked to see Abyss show up tonight but right now, he was looking forward to seeing Austin Aries take out Bully Ray.

Crimson came to the ring for a promo.   He said that everyone knows what he is capable of and claimed to have slain the seven foot Giant, Matt Morgan, without breaking a sweat.  He said that all he does is win and he's going to do the same.  Crimson said that no one in the back and no one in the crowd wants to fight him.  He said he told everyone that he's undefeated and issuing an open challenge.

He called in a referee and demanded that he ring the bell and count to ten.  His delivery on the mic has grown in leaps and bounds with this new direction.  The referee did what he asked.  The referee got to eight and out came TNA Knockouts champion Eric Young and ODB.

ODB said that she's beaten bigger broads than Crimson.  Young said everyone knows where she is going.  He said they are married and in love.  He said that his problems are ODB's problems and if he's good enough for ODB, he's good enough for her.  He said he would fight him.

Crimson vs. Eric Young

Young hit the ring and locked up with the befuddled referee.  Young did a handstand on the top then caught Crimson with a twisting head scissors, sending him to the floor.  When Crimson returned, Young worked him over with a series of rights.,  Young whipped him into the corner but Crimson grabbed him and manhandled Youing over the ropes the floor.  Young landed hard.

Crimson worked over Young on the floor.  ODB tried to stop him and he teased going after her but tossed Young back into the ring, scoring a two count.  Crimson locked him in a cravate.  ODB got into the ring and faced off with him.  She pushed him and Crimson shoved her down.  He began talking trash on her, allowing Young to recover and go nuts with offense.

Young went to the top rope and drilled Crimson with an elbow.  He checked on ODB, allowing Crimson to nail him from behind and hit the Red Sky for the pin.

The first "eh" segment of the night.  Everyone worked hard but the placement and segment fell out of place.  I think the company would have been better giving Hardy vs. Anderson and the Tag bout some more time.  More was absolutely less here.  The one upside is that Crimson's demeanour as a heel continues to grow and Young and ODB are obviously really over.

Jeremy Borash interviewed Bully Ray.  A Twitter reader asked Ray how he can compete with a younger, faster Ray.  He said he doesn't do Twitter and said he's old school at www.myspace.com/calvezilla.  He said he's a 20 year veteran of every kind of war you can think of and said Aries isn't man enough or big enough to nail that brainbuster.  He promised to break Aries heart, no matter how big it is.  Good promo.

TNA X-Division champion Austin Aries vs. Bully Ray

Ray's entrance was great, just walking down to the ring like this pissed off heel with no redeeming qualities.  His walk is right out of the best 80s heels.  They showed Joseph Park in the crowd watching.

They went nose to nose at the bell.  Ray began telling Aries that he can't beat him and he's never been in the ring with anyone as big or bad as him.  Aries backed off and sat on the top turnbuckle waiting for him to stop.  Aries then walked up to him and challenged him to fight, saying he wasn't scared and he was ready.  Nice old school face off.

They went to lock up and of course, Ray then pulled himself through the ropes to break it up before it started.  He tried that again but Aries grabbed the ropes and slammed them upwards into the nether-regions.  Aries worked over Ray but was cut off and slammed hard.

Ray spit in Aries' face but Aries responded with a slap to the face.  He worked over Ray in the corner with shots to the ears and mid-section.  Aries went for a single leg takedown and bit Ray on the calve.  He snapped Ray's throat over the top.  He went to the top but Ray ran and kicked him backwards off the top and Aries took this crazy backwards bump off the top into the railing.  He looked to have hit his head or just barely missed the rail.  It was a crazy bump.

When Aries returned to the ring you could see this nasty dark red bruises on his back as well as several cuts with blood running down his back.  That was easily the scariest bump of the night so far, planned or otherwise.

Aries, who looked beat up bad, was worked over by Bully.   Ray began drilling Aries over the back.  Ray teased throwing him over the top but instead slammed him down.   Aries began daring him to fight back.  Aries went for a punch but was caught with a bear hug.  Aries nailed him several times in the ear to break it but was caught and backdropped hard to the mat.

Ray stalked the ring, the measured and drilled Aries with a chop.  Aries refused to back down and pulled himself up but was clotheslined down.  Aries drilled Ray and fired up with several shots but was chopped down again.  Ray screamed at him to stay down.   Aries refused and drilled Ray hard.  Ray told him he was crazy and a dead man.  He teased another chop but raked Aries' face instead.

Ray was nailed with a shoulderblock by Aries, followed by a series of elbows.  He ran Ray's face across the top rope, then ran at him with a charging clothesline.  Ray cut him off with a lariat and nailed a big sitdown slam for a two count.   Ray went for a powerbomb but Aries slipped out and landed on his feet.  He chopped away with several kicks but was blasted with a Cutter for a two count.  The story here is that Aries has a ton of heart and refuses to stand down to anyone.  Ray was mad about him kicking out.

Ray and Joseph Park had words.  Ray pulled him into the ringside area and shoved him down.  He went to grab a chair but Aries dove onto him.  He tossed Ray back in and nailed a top rope missile dropkick.  He nailed a dropkick in the corner and killed Ray with a brainbuster for a close near fall.  Great false finish.

Ray kicked him and went for a running powerbomb.  Aries slipped out and was supposed to go for a Facebuster but didn't grab Ray, who took the face-first bump.  Aries locked on the Last Chancery submission and Ray tapped out.

Your winner, Austin Aries!

With the exception of the timing issue at the end, a perfect story and a great match.  This was about making Aries and Ray, who is the best heel in the company (period), did a hell of a job making him.  Aries showed a lot of heart and that frightening bump to the outside only served to enhance the story.  Ray and Aries did a hell of a job.  Absolutely great stuff from bell to bell.

They showed clips of the AJ Styles-Dixie Carter photos being revealed on Thursday.

Jeremy Borash interviewed AJ Styles.  Styles said it's not the first time he's wrestled Kurt Angle.  He said that Angle is the best in the world and if he's not focused, he knows he doesn't have a chance.  He said that he's not here to talk about photos, Kaz, Daniels or Dixie, he's here to wrestle.

AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle

They locked up and Styles went for the leg.  They had a scrambling attempt to gain advantage over the other but in the end, they faced off.  Angle grabbed a double leg takedown and rode Styles to the mat.   Styles backed off to the outside then returned to the ring.  Angle dared him to grab his leg.  Styles teased it then kicked Angle in the face when Angle ducked down to avoid the takedown.

Styles went for a waistlock but Angle nailed a rear elbow and locked him in a bearhug.  Styles broke out and nailed a sunset flip into a Styles Clash attempt.  Angle grabbed for an anklelock.  Style realized it and let the move go and they faced off.  The crowd started with some dueling chants.

They locked up again and Angle grabbed a side headlock.  Styles backed him into the ropes and sent him off but Angle shoulderblocked him down and went back to the headlock.  The crowd rallied Styles.  Styles fought his way to his feet but was caught and taken down again in the headlock.  

Styles nailed a dropkick after sending Angle into the ropes.  Styles came off the ropes with a leaping kneedrop to the head.   Styles went for the Styles Clash but instead nailed a powerbomb for a two count.

Styles locked in a rear chinlock,  Angle fought his way out but Styles nailed him and sent Angle to the floor.  He jumped down at Angle but Angle grabbed him for a back suplex.  Styles landed on his feet and nailed a big right hand.  Back in the ring, Styles missed a leap at Angle in the corner and was caught and sent overhead with a belly to bell suplex.

Angle began stomping the hell out of  Styles.  He choked Styles against the ropes.  Styles fought back but was snapmared over and locked in a waistlock on the mat.  Angle squeezed and worked over Styles on the mat.  Styles fought his way to his feet but was caught with a tilowhirl backbreaker over the knee.  He went back to Styles' mid-section, now locking Styles up in bodyscissors.

Angle backdropped Styles and locked in a side chinlock.    Styles fought his way out and scored several near falls.  He went for the Styles Clash but Angle grabbed the legs and backdropped him.  He charged Styles, who ducked and Angle went to the floor.  Styles nailed a springboard forearm from the top rope to the floor.  The cameras caught this from underneath so it looked especially awesome.

Back in the ring, Styles was nailed while on the top.  Angle went for a superplex but was shoved off.  Angle jumped back up and caught him with a tossing superplex for a two count.  Angle went for a German suplex but Styles slipped out and nailed the Pele Kick and the Styles Clash for a two count.

Angle caught Styles with a big reverse suplex for a two count.   He worked over Styles, who grabbed the ropes to break up a suplex attempt.  Styles went after Angle but was caught with an Olympic Slam for a two count.   Angle pulled Styles off the mat and teased doing the Styles Clash.   Styles backdropped him over.  Angle grabbed his leg for the anklelock.  Styles rolled through and leapt up for a move but was caught and nailed with the Styles Clash for a near fall.

Angle went to the top for the moonsault and like always, he missed it.   Styles nailed a springboard flip into a back splash senton, although he may have been going for a legdrop.  Styles climbed to the top but out came Kazarian and Daniels.  Styles went after Kazarian, who the referee pulled away.  Daniels nailed Styles' legs.  Styles was hit with the Angleslam for a two count.  Angle locked in an anklelock and dropped down, trapping Styles, who tapped.

Your winner, Kurt Angle!

Daniels and Kazarian attacked Styles and put the boots to him.  Angle watched, then attacked Daniels and Kazarian, running them off.   He offered Styles his hand and helped him up.  They hugged and raised each other's arms.  That could be a hell of a dream tag team.

The match itself was good and very physical with a really nice story told in the ring.  I wouldn't say it was the best match they've ever had (Hard Justice in Trenton, NJ still stands out to me in that regard) but this was really awesome with a physical story told and a slow but great build in the ring. There were some really nice moments and near falls. I usually hate interference but it was a must here in order to tell the story they wanted and the Angle turn (although that's been coming for a while in terms of his attitude change) and setting the stage for the future. Angle and Styles as a team could be really cool and a way for Angle to not tax his body as much.

They showed a Top Ten TNA Moment to build to Slammiversary, which was Angle vs. Anderson in a Cage at Lockdown.  Mike Tenay and Taz gave the Slammiversary PPV a hard sell.

Zack Ryder beat Dean Ambrose by DQ again.  Same finish with Ziggler hitting the Zig Zag afterwards.  Crowd had no idea who Ambrose was.

Layla beat Beth Phoenix to retain the Divas championship.  Beth got a small pop as she's from down the Thruway in Buffalo.

Santino Marella beat Jack Swagger and the Miz to retain the US title.  Some good comedy spots from the 3.

Kofi and R-Truth over Primo and Epico (w/the smokin' Rosa Mendes) to retain the tag belts.  Funny spot at the start as Primo and Epico tried to attack Little Jimmy.

Intermission

Lord Tensai squashed Tyson Kidd.  Lots of Albert chants.  He stopped and glared at our section on the way back to the locker room.

John Cena beat Dolph Ziggler (w/Mason Ryan).  Mason is JACKED in person.  The usual "Let's go Cena/CENA SUCKS!" chants.  Cena had the house though.

Main event:  CM Punk defeated Chris Jericho to retain the belt.  Special guest ringside enforcer:  Mick Foley.   Foley got a nice pop.  Jericho got on the mic claiming to be the real "Best in the World" and ran us down.  Some good sequences.  These 2 work great together.  Jericho frustrated grabbed a chair from ringside and entered the ring.  Foley took it from him, which resulted in Jericho cornering Foley and getting right up in his face.  As Jericho turned around to go back to Punk, out came Mr. Socko.  After Socko, it was GTS time.  Crowd goes home happy.

Justin Roberts says they'll be back soon.

Good card overall.  The mini-tron is a nice touch.

Extreme Rules is on Sunday and the two main champions are nursing injuries. Will they be able to compete at the pay per view, and if so, how effective will they be? Things will get extreme tonight when Triple H and Brock Lesnar meet face to face, one week after Brock and Paul Heyman paid a visit to Hunter’s office in Stamford. Things will get even more extreme when Fandango and Chris Jericho . . . DANCE!! Will we get any more matches announced for Sunday’s show? What match will be on the pre-show?

We are in Tulsa, Oklahoma and your announcers are Michael ‘Stone Cold’ Cole, Jerry ‘Aren’t there a few game 7s tonight’ Lawler, and John ‘Stone Cold’ Layfield.

Jerry Lawler is in the ring with the parquet floor and he tells us that Chris Jericho will be facing Fandango at Extreme Rules. Jerry mentions that Fandango won his first match in WWE at Wrestlemania.

Jerry mentions the animosity between Chris and Fandango and since Chris Jericho is a veteran of Dancing with the Stars, what better way to prove who is more EXTREME than a Dance Off.

Fandango comes through the golden shower curtain with Summer Rae and they make their way to the ring first.

Chris Jericho comes to the ring with his dance partner Edyta Sliwinska.

Jerry tells us that each person has 90 seconds to perform their routine and the WWE crowd in Tulsa will be picking the winner. Jerry tells everyone to choose their winner based on their dance skills, not their popularity.

Fandango cuts off Jerry when he mentions the dance off with Brodus Clay. Fandango says that he was not defeated. The crowd knew nothing of talent. The people of Tulsa might not like him, but they have to respect his performance as an artist.

Fandango says that as long as there is a Chris Jericho, there will be a better man and that person is Fandango.

Jerry asks Chris for a response. Chris says that this might be a dance off, but it is still Raw is Jericho. Chris says that he has had some impressive victories on Raw, but there was nothing more impressive than becoming the first musical chairs champion and then he was the first Price is Raw champion in WWE History. He will win this dance off.

On Sunday, Chris says that Fandunghole will be witness to a new dance sensation called the I just kicked your jackass all over this ring. He will dance all over Fandango’s face and he will never never eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever be the same agayne.

The winner of the coin toss was Fandango so he will go first.

Fandango demands silence so he can focus. Summer twists her ankle. Edyta checks on Summer and Fandango tells Edyta that this does not concern her.

Fandango with a kick to Jericho and he punches Jericho. Fandango with another kick and punches. Fandango kicks Jericho to the floor and then he sends Jericho into the announce table. Fandango sends Jericho into the ring steps. Fandango sends Jericho into the ringside barrier. Fandango removes a piece of the Raw Garden’s parquet floor and he waits for Jericho to get up so he can hit Chris with it and he connects with Chris in the head.

Fandango returns to the ring and Summer pops up and she is okay.

Ryback is walking in the back, but is he looking for a dance partner or an opponent?

Match Number One: Zack Ryder versus Ryback

 

Ryback with a kick and forearms to the back. Ryback with another forearm to the back. Ryder tries for a cross body but he bounces off Ryback. Ryder punches Ryback but Ryback with a clothesline. Ryback says that it is over and he gets Ryder up for the marching musclebuster and he gets the three count.

We see a Brock Lesnar/Triple H video package. They will meet face to face tonight.

Match Number Two: Brodus Clay and Tensai (with Cameron and Naomi) versus Darren Young and Titus O’Neil

 

Young and Tensai start things off and Tensai with a punch and then he hits a cannonball into the corner. Young with a forearm and he tags in Titus. Titus with forearms to Tensai in the corner followed by a splash and he barks. Titus with kicks but he tries for a shoulder in the corner but Tensai moves. Clay tags in and he hits two clotheslines followed by a Sheeeplex. Clay with a splash into the corner and then he takes care of Young. Clay with a clothesline and it is time to call his mama.

Young hits Clay in the throat with the afro pick and Titus gets the three count with a rollup.

We take a look back at last week when Dolph Ziggler suffered a concussion at the foot of Jack Swagger. We will find out what the status of the World Title Match is when we come back.

We are back and Matt Striker brings out Teddy Long and Matt asks him about Dolph Ziggler’s condition since he is not medically cleared to wrestle. Teddy is interrupted by Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter. Zeb says that if Dolph cannot wrestle, he should be stripped of the title and it should be given to Swagger.

Langston says that the title isn’t going anywhere. AJ says that Jack should not be rewarded for the what he did. She tells Teddy to fire Swagger.

Teddy says that Dolph will not be stripped of the title. Jack Swagger will face Alberto Del Rio in a Number One Contender’s I Quit Match. Langston will face either Swagger or Del Rio tonight.

Langston wants to know who it is. Teddy says that the WWE Universe will decide on the WWE App.

We are back and Dean Ambrose will face Kofi Kingston for the United States title at Extreme Rules.

Damien Sandow comes out and he says contrary to popular demand, he will not be singing a song this evening because Kofi’s song, much like his reign as US Champion is foolish. Damien demands silence. The founding fathers were men of their word and he will uphold their standards. His reign as United States Champion will soon come to an end.

 

Match Number Three: Kofi Kingston versus Damien Sandow

 

Kofi with a rollup for a near fall. Sandow with a knee to the midsection and ribs. Sandow with knees to the midsection and then he hits a side Russian leg sweep. Sandow with the Elbow of Disdain and he connects and gets a near fall. Sandow with an abdominal stretch and forearms to the ribs before locking in the hold.

Kofi reverses the abdominal stretch and he gives Kofi a hip toss. Sandow misses a charge into the corner and he hits the turnbuckles. Kofi with chops and a drop kick. Kofi with a leaping clothesline and then he goes for the Boom Drop and he connects. Kofi with the set for Trouble in Paradise but he turns it into a double jump cross body but Sandow moves and Kofi hits the mat.

Sandow with a running swinging neck breaker. Kofi with Trouble in Paradise for the three count.

We are back with a look at the Texas Bullrope Match between JBL and Eddie Guerrero from the 2004 Great American Bash (which gave us one of the greatest audios in PWInsider history).

Josh Mathews is in the ring with Mark Henry and Josh mentions the strap match between Mark and Sheamus. We go take a look at why this match is taking place.

Mark asks Josh if he thought that whooping was something, wait until Extreme Rules. Mark says that he will pull Sheamus’ carcass around the ring. If you don’t believe him, we go to the footage of Mark Henry doing what he do by pulling two tractor trailers on Smackdown.

Josh asks Mark how that will help him win on Sunday. Mark says that he will show Josh instead of telling him. Mark tells Josh to put the strap on and Josh does it despite calls from his fellow announcers to leave. Mark says that they will be linked by a twelve foot strap and then he pushes Josh to the mat. Mark says that you go around the ring and touch the corners . . . consecutively. Mark drags Josh around the ring while he touches the four turnbuckles.

Mark suggests that Sheamus come out now because why wait for Extreme Rules. Mark says that he can finish what he started last week.

Sheamus does not come out and Mark says that Sheamus knows where his bread is buttered. . .

Sheamus’ music plays and he brings his buttered bread to the stage.

Sheamus says that Mark may be the strongest in the world, but he is not the brightest. What Mark did on Monday night was not going to stop him from competing at Extreme Rules.

Mark says that Sheamus is doing a lot of talking, but not walking so he wants Sheamus to come to the ring.

Sheamus wants to know if Mark thinks this is a fair fight.

Mark asks Sheamus if he is scared and if he changed his green for yellow.

Sheamus says that he has never walked away from a fight and he makes his way to the ring.

Sheamus tells Lumpy to back his arse up so he can get into the ring.

Sheamus says that he was at ringside earlier and he left a present under the ring for Mark. Sheamus has his own strap and he comes into the ring and they go back and forth hitting each other with the strap until Sheamus gets the advantage.

Henry wants to get his strap back but Sheamus keeps him from getting into the ring to retrieve his strap.

We take a look at what Brock Lesnar did to Vince McMahon after the Royal Rumble.

Match Number Four: Antonio Cesaro versus Randy Orton

 

They lock up and Cesaro backs Orton into the corner but Orton changes position and Orton with a clean break. Cesaro with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Cesaro with a boot but Orton with a back elbow and then he stomps on Cesaro’s head and he runs the laces across Cesaro’s face.

Cesaro with a head butt when the referee tried to separate them in the corner. Cesaro with kicks to Orton. Cesaro with an Irish whip and running European uppercut into the corner. Cesaro with a reverse chin lock. Orton with punches and then he hits an Exploder suplex. Orton with a kick to the chest followed by two clotheslines. Cesaro misses a clothesline and Cesaro holds the ropes and he connects with an elbow, but you do not stop Orton from hitting the power slam.

Cesaro goes to the apron and Orton sets for the IEDDT but Cesaro counters and he gets a near fall with a rollup. Orton with an RKO for the three count.

Match Number Five: Heath Slater (with Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre) versus Miz

 

They lock up and Slater with a waist lock. Slater with an elbow and punch but Miz with a knee to the midsection and he kicks Slater in the head. Slater sends Miz to the apron but Miz slides under and gets a near fall with a sunset flip. Miz with Reality Check and he gets a near fall. Miz kicks Slater and Mahal grabs the leg and Slater with a leaping leg lariat for a near fall.

Slater punches Miz and he connects with jabs and hits a neck breaker for a near fall. Slater with a reverse chin lock. Miz with elbows and a snap mare but Slater misses a charge into the corner. Miz with a running forearm followed by a knee lift and a boot to the head. Miz with the Awesome Clothesline and he goes up top for a double sledge and then he wants to apply the figure four but Slater gets to the ropes.

Slater with a punch and he goes up top but Miz punches Slater on the turnbuckles and then he knocks Mahal off the apron. Miz sends Slater onto McIntyre and Mahal. Miz sends Slater back into the ring and Slater is limping and Miz with a drop kick to the knee and then he applies the figure four leg lock and Slater taps out.

Match Number Six: Daniel Bryan, Kane, and John Cena versus Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns in an Elimination Match

 

Kane starts things off with Ambrose. They lock up and Kane works on the arm and he applies a side head lock and takes Ambrose down with a shoulder tackle and side head lock. Ambrose punches Kane but Kane sends Ambrose into the corner and he punches Ambrose.

Bryan tags in and he kicks Ambrose in the chest. Bryan with a take down and he stretches Ambrose and gets a near fall. Ambrose with an elbow and he tags in Rollins. Bryan with a drop toe hold and Cena tags in and he sends Rollins into the turnbuckles and he hits a bulldog and gets a near fall. Cena with a front face lock and we go to commercial.

We are back and Bryan gets Ambrose up in a surfboard and then he tags in Kane for a drop kick. Kane gets a near fall. Bryan tags in but Ambrose gets Bryan into his corner and Rollins tags in and he kicks Bryan. Rollins argues with the referee and that allows Reigns to interfere.

Reigns tags in and he sends Bryan face first into the mat and then he connects with a shoulder. Reigns with a reverse chin lock. Reigns with a shot to the midsection and he gets a near fall. Ambrose tags in and Ambrose with the drop kick against the ropes and Rollins with a flying boot to Bryan and Rollins gets a near fall with a jackknife cover.

Rollins with a reverse chin lock. Rollins with forearms to the back and Ambrose tags in and he punches Bryan. Ambrose points to the shiner under his eye and he connects with a snap elbow drop. Ambrose with a boot to the midsection. Ambrose with a chin lock but Bryan gets back to his feet. Ambrose with a knee to the midsection but Bryan with a knee and Kane tags in.

Kane with punches to Ambrose followed by an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner followed by another and a side slam. Kane knocks Reigns off the apron and then Rollins goes to the floor. Kane with a DDT after moving when Ambrose charges into the corner. Kane goes up top and hits the clothesline and then he sets for the choke slam.

Rollins is grabbed by Kane and both men are sent over the top rope to the floor. Reigns is knocked off the apron and Kane goes to the floor and he sends Ambrose into the ringside barrier. Kane sends Rollins into the ring post and then he sends Reigns into the ring steps.

Kane sends Reigns into the announce table. Kane grabs the top of the table and he hits Ambrose with it and Kane has been disqualified.

Kane Eliminated

We go to commercial.

We are back and Ambrose with a DDT to Cena for a near fall. Ambrose kicks Cena and he tags in Reigns. Reigns pounds the mat and he hits a flying punch but only gets a two count. Reigns with a front face lock and forearm to the back followed by a suplex attempt but Cena blocks it and he hits a suplex of his own.

Rollins tags in and he goes up top and hits a boot to the head and Rollins gets a near fall. Rollins with another near fall and he kicks Cena in the back. Rollins with a sleeper and Cena gets Rollins on his back. Bryan tags in and he punches Rollisn and Bryan with a double drop kick to take care of Ambrose and Reigns. Bryan punches Rollins and then he flips over Rollins and then he hits a suicide dive onto Reigns. Bryan with a forearm to Rollins and he goes up top for the missile drop kick and he hits it.

Bryan gets a near fall on Rollins. Bryan with Kicks of Yes to the chest but Rollins with a punch. Bryan tries for the No Lock but Rollins is able to stay on his feet. Ambrose makes the blind tag but Bryan sees it and he hits Ambrose. Rollins with an enzuigiri and Ambrose hits the Dean Driver and Bryan is pinned.

Daniel Bryan Eliminated

Ambrose wants Cena to enter the ring. Cena goes after Ambrose and Reigns tags in and he punches and kicks Cena. Rollins does the same. Cena with two flying shoulder tackles and the Blue Thunder Bomb on Rollins and then he hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena tries for Attitude Adjustment but he takes care of Ambrose and Reigns before pinning Rollins after the Attitude Adjustment.

Seth Rollins eliminated

Reigns pushes the referee and he spears Cena but the referee disqualifies Reigns.

Roman Reigns eliminated

Ambrose gets a near fall on Cena. Ambrose slaps Cena but Cena with the STF and then Rollins and Reigns attacks Cena and the referee calls for the bell.

 

Winners: John Cena, Daniel Bryan, and Kane

 

After the match, The Shield attacks Cena and they give Cena the Cerberus Bomb.

The Shield leaves the ring and Ryback makes his way to the ring and he is dressed for a fight. Ryback stands over Cena and then he leaves the ring. Ryback is still hungry and he brings a chair into the ring. Ryback stands on the leg and he hits Cena’s injured ankle with the chair.

We go to commercial with a look back at Brock Lesnar versus Triple H at Wrestlemania.

We are back and Ryback is walking and Matt Striker asks Ryback about what he did. Ryback says that he played by the rules for the last year but time and time again he was screwed out of the WWE Championship. On Sunday, everyone will know that Ryback Rules.

Jerry Lawler tells us Big E Langston will face Jack Swagger.

 

Match Number Seven: Big E Langston (with AJ Lee) versus Jack Swagger (with Zeb Colter)

 

They lock up and go to a stalemate. They lock up again and they go around the ring. Swagger with a side head lock take down. Swagger and Langston exchange shoulder tackles and neither man leaves their feet. Langston with punches to the midsection. Langston with shoulders in the corner followed by an Irish whip to the sternum. Langston misses a charge into the corner and Swagger tries for the ankle lock but Langston kicks him out of the ring.

Swagger with a take down and he gets a near fall. We go to commercial.

We are back and Langston with a few back breakers to Swagger and he gets a near fall. Langston with a series of shoulders in the corner. Langston misses a shoulder in the corner and Swagger with a splash in the corner. Swagger with the Swagger Bomb for a near fall. Swagger punches Langston in the head but Langston with a punch to the midsection followed by a body block.

Langston puts Swagger on the top turnbuckles and he hits a superplex and both men are down. The straps comes down and Langston tries for the Big Ending but Swagger with a shot to the knee and he applies the ankle lock. Langston tries to reach the ropes and he gets to the ropes. Langston with an elbow and he sends Swagger over the top rope to the floor.

Langston goes to the floor and he sends Swagger shoulder first into the ringside barrier. Langston misses a splash against the ringside barrier and he goes into the crowd. Swagger gets into the ring at nine and Langston is counted out.

After the match, Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez come to the ring. Del Rio with punches and then Swagger with a take down and he puts Del Rio in the ankle lock. Ricardo hits Swagger with the bucket and then Del Rio applies the cross arm breaker. Langston takes care of Del Rio and he goes after Swagger. Del Rio with an enzuigiri to Langston. Del Rio escapes a Doctor Bomb and he clotheslines Swagger over the top rope to the floor.

We are back and Kaitlyn, the Bellas, Hornswoggle, and Great Khali are at the announce table.

Match Number Eight: Natalya versus AJ Lee

 

AJ skips around Natalya before locking up. Natalya with a waist lock take down.

Kaitlyn gets a gift while at the announce table. Meanwhile, in the ring Natalya with a suplex and forearm. Natalya skips in front of AJ and then she sends AJ into the turnbuckles and she kicks AJ. AJ grabs the ropes to avoid Natalya. AJ goes to the floor and then she slaps Natalya. Natalya chases AJ around the ring. AJ with a kick to the midsection and they return to the ring.

AJ blows a kiss to Kaitlyn but Natalya with a drop kick that sends AJ to the floor. Natalya picks up AJ and sends her back into the ring. Natalya picks up AJ and tries for a back breaker but AJ was playing possum and she applies an Octopus and Natalya taps out.

After the match, Kaitlyn checks on Natalya and we go to commercial.

We are back and Jerry Lawler tells us that Jim Ross is hog hunting tonight and that is why he is not at Raw. We have a recap.

We are back and the cage is down as we await CONFRONTATION 2013 . . . EXTREME TALKING.

Triple H says that Brock Lesnar and him have been at war for a year. They have broken bones and bled and nothing has been settled. That is until Sunday. It will be settled on Sunday. This ring is his home. He grew up here and he learned to be a man here. A man who he respected told him that he needed to learn how to hate. He did. As the years went by, he learned to hate and he learned to thrive on that hate.

Nowhere did he feel more at home than in this ring and when this ring was surrounded by steel. Steel that can rip your flesh and break your bones. He tells Brock that they are here so why doesn’t try to take Hunter’s home from him.

Brock Lesnar’s music plays and he does the most six days before Extreme Brock Bounce. Paul tells Brock not to go to the ring. Paul introduces himself but Hunter tells him to shut up.

Hunter says that everyone knows who they are so Brock can get to the ring and do it.

Paul stops Brock and he wants to know if Hunter knows what they are truly about. They are about the perverse pleasures in life. They have forced Hunter to say hate. Isn’t ‘hate’ on the taboo list? That is where Paul gets the perverse pleasure. We know that Brock and Hunter hate each other.

On Sunday, his client is going to teach Hunter the true meaning of the word hate. Brock Lesnar is a cage fighting carnivore and Hunter is the biggest slab of meat in the WWE. After Sunday, Hunter will hate to face his family after what Brock does to him in the cage. Hunter will hate having to face his father in law for letting down the WWE Universe.

Hunter will hate that one man will emerge from this war as a winner and one man will have to face the fact that he will go down in history as the loser. Triple H will go down in history as the loser.

Paul says that Brock is here tonight and he is ready for a fight. A fight that Hunter will have to wait until Sunday to experience because as COO knows, Brock Lesnar does not fight for free.

Hunter tells them to stop Brock’s music as Brock goes to the back. Hunter says that it just dawned on him and he was trying to wonder why Brock won’t face him like a man. Brock won’t stand face to face with him like a man. Why is that? Hunter says that it has nothing to do with Brock. It is that Paul can’t afford for Brock to do that.

Hunter did the unthinkable at Wrestlemania by knocking Brock out cold. Hunter reminds Paul that he beat him. Hunter says that if Brock walks into this cage now and maybe if Hunter kicks Brock’s ass another time, it doesn’t bode well for Paul as a businessman.

If Brock enters the cage and he loses again, the sounds you will hear will be the roar of the crowd and the mystique of Brock Lesnar flying out the window along with his meal ticket. Brock still believes that he is the baddest man standing in this room, but Paul doesn’t think that is true any more. Hunter says that he is talking to Brock and he wants to know if Brock will walk down the aisle to prove to the world that he is BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROCK Lesnar the beast, or will he stand there waiting for what Paul Heyman will tell him to do and be Brock Lesnar . . . the bitch.

Brock makes his way to the ring while referees stand in the way until they realize that is not a smart thing to do. Paul tries to talk some sense to Brock. Brock climbs the steps while Paul begs Brock not to do it.

Brock steps in the cage, but he does not enter the ring at first. They are in the ring together. Brock with the first shot and then Brock runs Hunter into the turnbuckles and he connects with shoulders. Hunter with punches but Brock with a German suplex and Hunter is down. Brock demands that the door be closed. Hunter sends Brock into the cage and now both men are sans shirts.

Hunter punches Brock and then he sends Brock into the door and it knocks Heyman and the referees to the floor. Hunter stands on the turnbuckles while Brock looks at him from the floor.
