STEAMBOAT RELEASE, JIM ROSS' LATEST, HOLIDAY CELEBRATION WITH MICK FOLEY AND MORE

In regard to the WWE release of Richie Steamboat, which I mentioned in our Q&A yesterday, it happened some time ago under the radar. He had been out of action for a LONG time due to a back injury and the company released him. No one seemed to be aware of it until recently, but it wasn't something that just happened. We had a few readers angry about Steamboat being released right before the holidays - that was not the case at all.

Speaking of Hall of Famers, Jim Ross has a new blog entry at www.JrsBarBQ.com looking at Jim Cornette, what a big business time the holidays are for the wrestling traditionally, Steve Austin's birthday and more. I don't think you can find a better regular blog from a veteran outside of Ross'.

WWE NXT has a live event tonight in Orlando, FL at the Armory, which will be the final live event of the year for developmental.
