The article portrayed Show's departure as something of a hiatus, although his contract was set to expire in February 2007. Show noted that beyond the injuries, he wanted "some time to himself." Show returned to WWE in early 2008, setting up a heavily hyped "wrestler vs. boxer" match with Floyd Mayweather for Wrestlemania.
2008 - The final episode of Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling airs on CMT with Dennis Rodman crowned champion. Richard Trionfo filed the following TV report:
We start off with a look back at the other shows from this season of Celebrity Championship Wrestling. We run through the trips to Jabroni Town. We are down to our final four. Dennis Rodman, Butterbean, Dustin Diamond, and Todd Bridges. What will happen tonight when we find out who gets the CCW Title belt?
We go to the lounge and they talk about who will win as Todd does the commentator voice. They talk about the final match and how they should give everything in the ring. Dennis says that we will see him shine in this match. Knobs and Brutus enter and Knobs says that the judges got it right with the final four because every one of them wants to win.
Todd says that he is not afraid in this match and he says that he is going to win it. Dustin says that he has a chance. They tell Dustin not to be afraid to do things in the ring because the judges will be watching.
We go to the main ring to see what they will be doing. Hogan, Hart, and Bischoff await them as they enter.
Knobs says that they will take it to another level tonight and it will be hard for the judges. Hogan congratulates them for making it this far and he says that they made it because of their hard work and determination. Hogan says that there will only be one winner. The bumps and bruises mean nothing if you don’t win.
Jimmy asks Dustin who he thinks will win and Dustin says that everyone has a chance to win. Jimmy asks Butterbean if he thought he would make it this far. He thought he would be in the final four. He suggests that the belt should be made a little bigger to go around his waist. Jimmy talks to Todd about how he has been on a role. He asks if the advice from the pros helped him. Todd says that he will get nasty to win. Jimmy asks Dennis if he thinks he is going to walk out of there with the belt and Dennis points out that he has won five titles.
Eric tells them that this is not the time to get complacent and they will have to learn two different matches today. One is a tag match to determine which two advance to the main event and find out who will win the CW title belt. Hogan says that the performances have gotten better. All of the hard work means nothing without the title belt. Hogan wishes them luck.
We are in the training ring and Knobs tells Dustin that everyone thinks that Dustin’s chops and kicks suck. They want him to practice and Dustin says that he does not like chopping. Butterbean comments on how Dustin hurt himself chopping someone. Then it is time for Dustin to get chopped and we see how red Dustin’s chest could be. Brutus tells them that they are on their own, but they need to work together in the match.
The tag match is going to be Bridges and Dustin against Rodman and Butterbean. They are told that they all need to learn the final match even if they aren’t going to be in that match. Knobs says that it is getting crazy. As they go through the match, Knobs talks about the reactions on their faces. They talk about how they were lost as Knobs was describing the match. Once they get through the match, Todd asks if there is any more.
Knobs says that it was like teaching a kindergarten class. Everyone thinks that they have it down. Knobs gives them a pep talk for the four remaining celebrities.
Before we find out who wins, we will have a Jabroni Reunion Match with five of the eliminated celebrities.
Tiffany and Nikki will be a team with Frank Stallone as their manager and they will face Trishelle and Erin in a tag team match. Frank has Nikki and Tiffany attack Erin and Trishelle before the bell rings. Things break down and it is a brawl. Nikki wants a test of strength with Trishelle, but it was a trap. Frank distracts the referee and that prevents the referee from seeing a tag. Erin sends Nikki into Frank and that knocks him off the apron. Erin hits a cross body from the top and pins Tiffany.
After the match, Stallone has issues with Nikki and Tiffany and then they leave the ring. From out of nowhere, Danny Bonaduce enters the ring and he taps Frank on the shoulder. Frank punches Danny but Danny ‘Duches Up’ and Frank leaves the ring.
We are in the locker room and Knobs gives them another pep talk for their match and we get their final thoughts on the match.
It is time for the semifinal tag match with Dustin Diamond and Todd Bridges against Butterbean and Dennis Rodman.
The three judges are introduced before the competitors get to the ring. After comments from Hogan and Hart, the coaches come to the ring.
Diamond and Bridges attack Butterbean and Rodman as the referee checks on Rodman and Butterbean before the bell rings. Rodman and Butterbean send Bridges and Diamond over the top rope to the floor. Rodman blocks the handspring clothesline into the corner with a boot. Butterbean with a splash on Bridges and Diamond and that is followed by one from Rodman. Butterbean slams Bridges and Todd’s hat finally comes off during a match. Bridges hits Butterbean with a chair in the head but the referee missed it. Butterbean is sent outside the ring and then Todd with a pescado onto Butterbean and then Butterbean is sent into the ring steps.
Diamond draws Rodman into the ring and that allows the referee to focus on Rodman and that allows Diamond to get a foreign object and use it on Butterbean. Butterbean fights back and despite the best efforts of Diamond and Bridges, he makes the tag to Rodman who takes care of Bridges and Diamond. Rodman hits a clothesline from the turnbuckles on Diamond while Butterbean hits the uranage on Bridges for the three counts.
It is time for the first round of judging. Hogan says that only two will move on. Eric tells Dennis that everything he does is believable. Jimmy tells Butterbean that he has been in the business for thirty years, and if he got back into the business, he would sign Butterbean to manage him. Hogan tells Todd he understands the business. Hogan tells Dustin that he did a good job tonight. It is time to send two home. Dustin and Butterbean are summoned. He says that they did a great job, but it was not their nights. We get the comments as Dustin and Butterbean as they go on the walk down Jabroni Road.
It is time for the final match and it will pit Dennis Rodman against Todd Bridges.
Todd slaps Dennis and then he leaves the ring as he frustrates Rodman. Dennis regains control of the match as he works over Bridges. Todd is sent to the floor and Rodman tries to bring him back in but Bridges drops Rodman on the top rope. Bridges sends Rodman into the ring post and then Todd gets a table and Dennis goes through the table. Todd hits a sunset flip from the turnbuckles, but Todd can only get a two count. The shirt comes off for Rodman and then he slams Bridges followed by a leg drop. Rodman with a splash into the corner and then Dennis goes to the turnbuckles for the clothesline and he hits it for the three count.
It is time for the final Judge’s Table and we go to Tom, Padma, and Gail . . . I mean Hogan, Hart, and Bischoff. Hogan says that they outdid the expectations of the fans. They both made Hogan proud. However, only one can win the title. The decision is going to be very tough. Jimmy says that what they have accomplished in eight weeks is amazing. Eric tells them that they should both be proud. Hogan says that he did not know what they were capable of, but they are unbelievable wrestlers.
Hogan goes to the ring with the title belt and he tells Dennis that he is on fire as soon as he enters the ring. Hogan says that Todd is very methodical in the ring and they are both neck and neck.
The winner of Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling is Dennis Rodman. The confetti flies as Dennis holds the belt over his head. Todd sounds a bit disappointed with the final decision.2009 - Vladimir Kozlov, at the time a WWE star, was among those officially became an American Citizen in Tampa, Florida. Kozlov commented, "Oh to be a U.S. citizen has been like a dream for long time. When I was raised and born in Russia, I had [a] dream to come to United States because U.S. [is a] land of big opportunity. If you work hard, you can reach whatever you want."
2010 - TNA Knockouts Tag Team champion Ayako Hamada was released by TNA after she chose not to sign a new contract. The promotion immediately began a tournament to fill the championship vacancy.
2010 - WWE broadcast Raw. Richard Trionfo filed the following TV report:
We begin this week’s show with a look back at last week when Miz was given a standing ovation by the official mouthpiece of the Raw General Messenger. Then we see Jerry Lawler confront Miz, and then they had a heck of a TLC match later that night. But what will Michael Cole say led him to get involved in the match?
We are live from Louisville, Kentucky and your announcers are Jerry ‘Maybe I can have my son take care of my broadcast partner for what happened last week’ Lawler and CM ‘Guess what shirt I am wearing this week’ Punk.
Punk congratulates Jerry Lawler on his performance on last week’s Raw on his birthday and he says that he thinks Jerry would have won if Cole did not get involved.
Speak of the devil, Michael Cole comes out and he says that he is going to try to explain his actions from last week. He says that he has been wrestling with this all week long. He says that the people don’t understand how traumatic last week was for him. The hate mail that he has received. He wonders how people could write those hurtful things they said. Cole will not apologize for the way he feels about the Miz. Cole says that he was the only one who supported Miz. Cole says that when Miz won the title, it was like his own son won the championship. Cole tells Jerry that last week when everything was going on and Jerry was about to win the title, Cole says that he got caught up in the emotion of the moment. Because of that, Cole says that he deeply regrets that.
Jerry says that he expected Cole to apologize since he cost him the WWE Title.
Cole says that he regrets his actions. He asks Lawler if he ever made a mistake.
Jerry says that he is going to finish what he started last week.
Cole tries to beg off Lawler while Punk says that he won’t stop Jerry. Cole wants to handle this like adults. Cole says that Lawler’s actions rang a bell in his head. Cole says that Lawler is as much to blame as Cole is.
Cole says that they are supposed to be broadcast journalists. They are supposed to report the news, not make it. He says that Jerry was the headline last week when he had to be Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler one more time. He couldn’t let the Miz have his one moment. Cole says that he doesn’t owe Lawler an apology, he tells Jerry that he owes him an apology.
Lawler is about to attack Cole when the ding ding goes off.
CM Punk plays the part of Michael Cole, but efficiently, and he says that he has received an e-mail . . . AND I QUOTE there is a cease and desist between any physicality between Lawler and Cole and a violation will result in termination. He wants Jerry to go into the ring and shake hands with Michael.
Jerry goes into the ring and Cole tells Lawler to stop, but he is obviously too far away to shake hands.
Cole offers his hand and they shake hands but Lawler holds on as Cole walks away. Jerry tells Cole no physicality but there is someone in the back who may want to say something to him.
Randy Orton’s music plays and he comes out to the ring. Cole looks like he needs to change pants while Orton slithers to the ring.
Cole tries to beg for mercy while Orton gets ready to talk. Orton tells Cole that he wants to send a message to his favorite Superstar, the Miz. He doesn’t blame Miz for cashing in the briefcase when he did because if the roles were reversed, he would have done the same thing. Orton says that they are a lot alike. Orton says that he has proven that he can back up what he says in the ring. He tells Cole to continue rooting for the Miz because injured or not, he is going to take back the title from the Miz tonight.
Miz’s music plays and he comes out with Alex Riley and his briefcase. Miz says that Randy used to be so original and stand on his own, but he now sounds like everyone who underestimated him. They were in the same Money in the Bank match and he won while Orton lost. Now Orton is in the ring with only tough talk and an injured knee while Miz is the WWE Champion. Miz says that Orton won’t be facing him for the title. Miz says that the General Manager doesn’t have to defend the title until the TLC pay per view. Miz says that Orton’s knee will be okay but Orton will lose again.
Orton wants to know where the seven guys are to work on his knee before the match. Orton tells Miz not to consider Riley as a person.
Riley says that Miz doesn’t have to lower himself to face Orton. Riley says that he has five minutes to kill so he challenges Orton.
Orton says that he has no idea what Riley just said, but he accepts the match.
Miz tells Orton that the General Manager told him that he can choose the stipulation at the pay per view. Miz says that he is going to think long and hard because his response will be like him . . . awesome.
Orton says that some might think he is too injured to compete but there is something that he can do whether he is injured or not. Orton gives Cole an RKO.
We go to commercial.
We are back with the RKO heard round the internet as Michael Cole got planted into the mat.

Punk introduces Wade Barrett, but David Otunga is there and he says that Wade is on his way to the arena for the tag title match. Josh asks Otunga what their strategy is for Cena. Otunga says that they might not see eye to eye, but they have a plan for John Cena and they are going to stay united.
Otunga says that his food is here, and we see that room service is not John Cena. Otunga says that the food is cold. He tells him to leave and Otunga refuses to leave. It is time to shine a light on the 2010 King of the Ring, Sheamus and he has his Red Sonja outfit on as he makes his way to the ring and we see his victory over John Morrison to become King of the Ring.
Sheamus says that it is good to be the king. He says that when he won King of the Ring, he not only won a tournament, he restored credibility to the title. He says that he is better than all of the peasants. He is a better fighter than anyone in the WWE Universe. He ended the career of Triple H, the King of Kings. He says that he kicked Hunter off his throne to become the newest High King. He talks about the last High King of Ireland. He was a man who was feared and respected. In the end, he fell and was defeated. That will never happen to him because Sheamus’ reign will last forever. He will be remembered not as Ronald McDonald or a puny Conan O’Brien, but as the greatest high king in history.
The Lizard King John Morrison tells Sheamus he should have gone big and gotten some creatures. Get some goblins or elves. What about some gnomes to be lookouts. He suggests a half-man/half-goat thing.
Sheamus tells Morrison to quit the jokes and he says that Morrison is jealous that Sheamus is a two time WWE Champion and King of the Ring while Morrison has not. He says that Morrison is jealous of what Sheamus has done in the WWE in less time than Morrison.

Wade Barrett walks through the back and he tells Otunga to make sure that the rest of the guys are there as we go to commercial.
We are back and don’t forget that Raw next week is three hours long.
Wade Barrett comes to the ring and he has something to say. Wade says that he is going to admit so something he never had to admit to before. He had it wrong. He thought John Cena was a man of his word. The stipulation was Free or Fired, not Free or show up at Raw and attack Nexus.
If John Cena had one ounce of integrity in his body, he would never show up again. That isn’t how it worked out. He says that you can attack the members of Nexus as many times that you want but there is only one member of Nexus who can get him rehired.
Wade wants John Cena to come to the ring because he wants to get something off his chest.
John comes through the crowd and trespasses again as he makes his way into the ring.
The other members of Nexus come out and they stand on the stage.
Wade tells Cena that he allowed him into the ring but if he puts one foot out of line or threatens him, Nexus will come to the ring and beat him within an inch of his life.
Barrett says that Cena has problems understanding him so he will talk slowly. Barrett says that this is not going to work. He will never rehire John Cena.
Cena says that Barrett is just so stupid. Cena says being fired isn’t bad. He isn’t a WWE superstar but he is part of the WWE Universe. He has some friends in the back and he can also buy tickets to every show and he can tailgate with the WWE Universe. Cena says that he has a lot of time to think about ruining their lives. He mentions that Heath and Justin lost the titles tonight. At least it wasn’t to Santino or the cobra. Whooops. Cena asks them about what happened last week as well as the room service call. Cena says that he is fine being fired and buying tickets to every Raw to make the lives of the members of Nexus miserable. Cena says that he could care less if Barrett wants to hire him back.
Barrett says that Cena might be able to intimidate the rest of Nexus, but they Cena cannot intimidate him. Wade asks Cena how he would assure him that the attacks wouldn’t continue. Cena goes through some ideas. Cena says that he could come back and compete for the WWE Title. Cena points out that Wade is not the WWE Champion. Cena says that all he has to do is buy a ticket every week and ruin their lives.
Cena tells Wade that if he has the guts to hire him back, the attacks might stop on them, but the attacks on Wade will not. Cena says that he deserves payback and that is what he will get if Wade is a Man of Honor or a Man of Respect. He would be hired back and they would settle it in the ring tonight.
Cena says that if Barrett doesn’t hire him back, he will get him. Barrett won’t know when or where it will happen, but it will happen. It won’t stop. He says that Wade’s life will be a nightmare.
Barrett says that sounded like a threat so he tells Nexus to come down and extinguish the threat.
There must be a sound problem in the building because they don’t come to the ring. Husky Harris goes to the back and then he is followed by Heath Slater. Justin Gabriel is next, leaving David Otunga on the stage. Otung walks away.
Cena takes Barrett down and Barrett tries to run away. Cena sends Barrett into the ring steps. Cena pulls the steps to the announce table as Punk worries about the well being of his diet soda. Cena sends Barrett into the ring steps again and Cena rearranges the announce table and hands Punk his beverage. Cena picks up Barrett and he climbs the steps and he takes too long with the Attitude Adjustment and Wade Barrett runs out of the arena.
Cena walks around ringside and returns to the ring.
Wade Barrett walks in the back and he wants to know what is going on with the members of Nexus. He tells them that they listen to his orders. Otunga tells Barrett to hire Cena back or he is out of Nexus. We go to credits.
2010 - On an episode of "Highway 2 Helms", former WWE star "Hurricane" Shane Helms' weekly web show, co-host Marty Gardner asked Helms who his least favorite wrestler of all-time is. His answer? Shawn Michaels. Helms stated that Michaels was one of his idols growing up, but "he really let me down as a person". Helms then went on to really tear into Michaels, saying he believes Michaels is "the biggest hypocrite in the business" and that "his whole religious gimmick is a f***ing work".
Helms said that he doesn't discount Michaels' ring work and says that his matches with The Undertaker are some of the greatest matches of all-time, but as a person Michaels is a "cock-eyed cross-eyed piece of sh**.
Helms then told a story about being so angry at Michaels at a show last year that he wanted to hit him, not caring if he got fired by WWE over it. Michaels was having an argument with Chris Jericho at catering and was verbally attacking Jericho, which Helms did not agree with. Helms did not explain what the issue between Michaels and Jericho was about.
Helms went on to say Michaels is "one of the biggest drug users in the history of the business...who has snorted more coke and done more steroids" than anybody else in wrestling.

They opened the taping with Triple C's (a trio of rappers named Gunplay, Torch and Young Breed) and their crew, which represents Carol City, FL and The Bronx, in the ring with their crew of Slymm (Baby Slymm from California), Element (NYC worker Deranged, who performs under that name as a DJ internationally), T-Mizzle (Tony Mamaluke), and Facade.
The Cs said that the wrestlers know why they are here. He said they are family and have to show everyone how they do. The others attacked Facade and began beating him down as Slymm held him. As this was going on, they began letting fans into the building. All three of them worked over Facade as he dared them to keep coming. Element worked him over with a series of kicks. Mizzle and Element stomped him down. They fed him to Slymm who tossed him up and let him crash down face-first on the mat.
The crew left, carrying Facade out so he must still be in their crew and it was some sort of initiation.
Once the crowd was let into the taping completely, the PPV taping "officially" began.
Ring announcer Larry Legend made his way to the ring to welcome everyone.
Triple C's and their crew made their way to the ring. Slymm had the UWF Street King title belt with him, although the last image we saw was Rasche Brown handing it to someone as a cliffhanger of the last PPV. They said they are here to run the UWF and take over. Slymm said that he was all the way from San Diego and as the champion, he wanted to say that everyone who wanted to step to him can try because where he is from, no one backs down from a fight.
In a balcony, Brisco began calling down to them asking where Rasche Brown was. Some fans who were screaming at the Triple Cs asked where Brown was and Atlas Security held them back. One went after Slymm and he dragged the fan over the rail and beat the hell out of him and hit a Black Hole Slam on the fan. Slymm challenged Brisco.
Uncle Murda and his crew hit the ring. Slyck Wagner Brown demanded to know how Rich Ortiz thinks has a title shot when they both lost their contender matches. He said he wants the belt and the money and the B****es and challenged Ortiz to fight. Ortiz took the mic and said that Brown was in the wrong place at the wrong time and he was going to whip his ass right now.
Ortiz came down to the ringside area and they began brawling on the floor. Ortiz worked him over and nailed him with a chair. The rest of Murda's crew attacked Ortiz and began beating him in the ring. The LEP Boys and their crew team, the Phat Pack (Nigeria Nightmares) came out and worked over Raze and Riot of Murda's crew. They laid out Raze and Riot. Murda's crew recollected themselves and headed to the back.
As Ortiz returned to the back, Element and T-Mizzle attacked him and worked him over with a trash can, leaving him laying.

2012 - TNA broadcast Impact Wrestling. Stu Carapola filed the following TV report:
Welcome to PWInsider.com's live coverage of Impact Wrestling!
We look back at last week when Wes Brisco earned a job in TNA, Bully Ray and Hulk Hogan had a hard time separating business and personal, and Austin Aries laid out RVD. We then go to the Impact Zone for the final episode of Impact Wrestling before this Sunday's Final Resolution PPV!
Bobby Roode comes out with Bad Influence to kick off the show by telling the chodes in the audience (as Kazarian calls them) that they're the best part of the biggest group in the history of TNA, a group called Fortune. But that's in the past because they'll be victorious this Sunday, and Roode makes guarantees that are different than other people's guarantees because they become reality. He will once again be the World Champion and Jeff Hardy will find out that it pays to be Roode. Daniels has one more guarantee, and that's that the fans will indeed see one last match between himself and AJ Styles. The winner will be called the best of all time, and the loser...well, he'll be called AJ Styles. Daniels asks AJ to come out to the ring so they can talk one more time, face to face, as friends. AJ comes out looking rather dubious about this situation, and he faces off with Daniels in the center of the ring. He says he knows what Daniels is going to say because he knows him better than he knows himself. Daniels has been jealous of him since day one because AJ earned everything he's got in TNA. They can forget all the deception because Daniels can't beat AJ on his best day. Daniels says every time he's called AJ a loser, he's been right because AJ lost the Bound For Glory Series, he lost the World Tag Team Title, and he lost the opportunity to even wrestle for the title for a year. AJ is a loser, and the thing that terrifies AJ the worst is finding out in three days that he is, after all, just a loser. AJ tells Daniels that he talks too much, and he goes after Daniels before getting jumped 3-on-1 by his former partners. Jeff Hardy and James Storm run in to make the save and Evil Fortune heads for the hills.
We look back at last week when Austin Aries said RVD looked like Brooke Hogan because he was flat on his back, leading to a run in by Bully Ray and Hulk Hogan coming out to make angry faces. We go backstage to Aries, who says he's pushing Hogan's buttons for setting him up to fail as World Champion. He wants Bully Ray this weekend at the PPV and he won't stop pushing Hogan's buttons until he gets it.
TV Title Match: Samoa Joe vs Devon
Well, this is interesting, Devon challenges for the title he never lost. Samoa Joe looks like his shorts are being held up with duct tape. Devon's wearing his entire Aces & Eights gear complete with the leather jacket. Joe connects with a series of jabs, Devon goes to the eyes, but Joe whips Devon to the corner, charges in with an avalanche elbow, and a leaping enziguiri. Joe with the snapmare/chop to the back/kick to the chest/kneedrop combo. Joe charges, but Devon pulls the top rope down and Joe sails out to the floor. Devon quickly goes out and brings Joe back in, but barely gets 1 off a pinfall attempt. Joe tries to mount some offense, but Devon drills him with a flying back elbow and covers for 2. Devon with a charging splash in the corner and a diving headbutt off the ropes for 2. Devon goes for a second headbutt off the second rope, but Joe rolls out of the way and the momentum has shifted. Joe dodges a series of wild swings from Devon and gives him a Manhattan drop and a running boot, followed by a running senton for 2. Devon charges Joe in the corner and gets hit with the STJoe, then Joe gets the Kokina Clutch. Some blond chick wearing almost nothing pops up on the apron and distracts the referee so Doc can jump up on the apron and hit him in the back of the head with the hammer. Devon covers Joe as the referee turns around and we've got a new TV Champion.
Winner and NEW TV Champion: Devon
There you have it! Too bad, I thought Joe was doing a good job as champion and Devon really didn't need the title with what he's doing these days. Oh well.
Brooke Hogan is backstage on the cell phone with someone she's signed, sealed, and delivered. She says to give here a call when she gets here and walks off looking excited.
Al Snow and D-Lo Brown are backstage and Snow's telling D-Lo about how he got food poisoned last week and what it was like waking up in the hospital and freaking out with everyone standing over him. He thanks D-Lo for filling in for him last week, and D-Lo says he was just happy to be in the right place at the right time and help out.
Mickie James comes out to the ring to tell us how good it feels to be back and thanks the fans for their support, but she sat home for months recovering and thinking about her career and how she didn't accomplish everything she wanted, but that's going to change this weekend when she becomes the new Knockouts Champion. Tara and Jesse come out to the ring as Tara mocks Mickie's emotional speech, then says that she's had a much better year than Tara because she dropped Brooke Tessmacher and picked up Jesse instead (Jesse stands there flexing at her as she talks), and she's the Knockouts Champion. Mickie says she won't be champion for long, but Velvet Sky's music hits and out she comes to make her return after several months. She makes sure to let the pigeons loose on her way into the ring, and she wants to publicly thank Brooke Hogan for taking care of everything so she could come back to Impact Wrestling. She wishes the both of them luck this weekend at Final Resolution, but 2013 will be the year Velvet Sky becomes the Knockouts Champion, and if we don't know...then now we know.
Robbie E is backstage having trouble paying his Direct Auto Insurance on his iPad, and Robbie T has to come in and show him what to do. That was...interesting.
A reckoning is at hand...their road to Hell will be paved in their own blood...on 1/3/13.
World Tag Team Champions Chavo Guerrero Jr & Hernandez vs Robbie E & Robbie T
Chavo and E start us off, and Chavo easily regulates E before tagging Hernandez in to bearhug E and then pop him up into an overhead belly to belly. E tags in and comes off the top rope with an elbowdrop for 2, then goes to a chinlock. Chavo counters a front facelock to a suplex and tags out to Hernandez, who slingshots in with a shoulder tackle to E before backdropping him into next week. Hernandez knocks T off the apron and hits an over the shoulder backbreaker for 2, T comes in and goes at it with Hernandez but gets backdropped to the floor. Hernandez presses E onto the top turnbuckle and Pounces him, then Chavo tags in with his uncle's finisher for the win.
Winners: Chavo Guerrero Jr & Hernandez
The champions barely have time to celebrate before Joey Ryan comes down the ramp telling them they have three days before he and Matt Morgan win those titles. Morgan comes out of the crowd while Joey has them distracted and takes them both out with a double clothesline. Ryan says that's what happens when you're dealing with Big Morgan and the Big Organ.
We go to the Aces & Eights locker room where they're celebrating Devon's win with some beer and some babes, and Devon tells Doc not to worry because everything will be taken care of tonight. Why are the guys in masks holding beers? Are they going to drink through the masks or something?
We look back at last week when Wes Brisco earned his job, then we go to the locker room where Garett and Wes kiss Kurt's ass before he goes out to fight Doc. We then go to Chavo and Hernandez, who say that Joey Ryan and Matt Morgan got their attention, and they'll see them this Sunday at Final Resolution.
Kurt Angle vs Doc
The brawl starts before Doc is even in the ring, and Kurt stomps Doc down in the corner and begins working over his knee. Kurt clips Doc's knee a couple of times, but Doc takes his head off with a big clothesline and then returns the favor by attacking Kurt's leg. Doc sends Angle to the floor with a charging clothesline and then goes outside and whips him into the stairs. They go back in where Doc charges into a boot from Kurt, who comes off the second rope with a dropkick and hits the rolling German suplexes. Doc slips out of the Hacker Slam and hits a clothesline for 2, but Kurt picks his leg and gets the anklelock. Doc kicks him off, but Angle ducks a wild swing and gets another pair of German suplexes. Doc goes to the ropes to block another one and mule kicks Angle in the uprights, then comes off the ropes with a Clothesline From Heck that gets 2. Angle counters a chokeslam to a rollup and then rolls through into an anklelock. Doc escapes that and hits the chokeslam on another attempt, but Angle kicks out at 2. Another charge by Doc sends him into Angle's elbow, and Angle hits the Hacker Slam, takes the straps down, and goes back to the anklelock. Another member of Aces & Eights gets in the ring and attacks Angle to cause the DQ.
Winner: Kurt Angle by DQ
There's three or four members of the group surrounding Angle, but Samoa Joe, Wes Brisco, and Garett Bischoff run out to make the save. Angle says he's got an idea, and that's for Aces & Eights to send four of their guys to face the four of them at Final Resolution.
Hogan is on his cell phone saying he's looking at all the paperwork Joseph Park sent him, but he wants to talk to Al Snow in OVW before deciding whether to bring him back. Bull Ray comes in and tells Hogan he wanted the match with Austin Aries last week, and now he says that he's telling Hogan he's getting a match with Aries this week. Hogan laughs and says that the wrestling business doesn't revolve around him, and because there's a big picture, he's telling Bubba no. Bubba says the answer will be yes by the end of the night because he's taking over Hogan's freakin' show. Hogan tells Bubba to be careful what he wishes for and tells someone to get him a Midol.
James Storm and Jeff Hardy are backstage, and Storm is saying that he'll watch Hardy's back, but they're out there against Bobby Roode. Roode knew exactly what buttons to push, and he warns Hardy not to let Roode do the same thing to him. Storm walks off and we go INSIDE JEFF HARDY'S HEAD as he says to tell him something he doesn't already know, because when you're the World Champion, the World is after you.
#1 Contender Match: Zema Ion vs Kid Kash vs Kenny King
The winner here gets an X Division Title shot this Sunday. They do a bunch of three way spots to start before Kash gets dumped to the floor and King takes Ion's head off with a leg lariat. Kash goes to the top rope, Ion shoves him out to the floor, then King springboards in with a Blockbuster and hits Ion with the Royal Flush for the win.

Damn there was a lot going on there. Great match and all three guys came out lookingl ike a million bucks.
Bully Ray is backstage telling someone on the cell phone how pissed off he is at Hogan for not giving him a match with Austin Aries. He's going out to the ring right now to get what he wants.
Bully Ray comes storming out and puts a chair in the middle of the ring, and says he's not leaving until he gets what he wants, which is to fight Austin Aries. Aries wants to fight him, and all the fans want to see them fight each other, and asks the fans if they want to see it just to drive his point home. He's sitting in that chair and he's not going nowheah until he gets what he wants. Aries comes out with a chair of his own to ask if he's supposed to believe this crap, because if memory serves, the last time they fought he dropped Bubba on his fat head and made him tap out. Aries says men stand up for their women, and Bubba says he wants to fight him so damn bad that he dares him to get in the ring right now. Aries says he does whatever he wants, so he sets up his chair in the aisle and won't leave until Bubba comes out and fights him. Here comes the Hulkster, who repeats that he's not making the match because he's not letting anyone push him around. He tells Bubba to get out of his ring or he's going to fire his ass right now, or kick it. Bubba stands up and gets right in Hulk's face, but Brooke comes trotting out (and Aries is egging them on the whole time), and says that maybe Mark...maybe Bully Ray is right and it's becoming too personal. Hulk asks if she called him Mark, then says that since everyone wants it, they got their damn match. Wait a minute, I thought he wasn't going to let himself get pushed around? Aries looks happy, Bubba and Hogan still look angry, and Brooke looks distraught as we go to commercial.
We see a video package looking at the Hardy-Roode main event of this weekend's PPV, and then it's main event time!
Bobby Roode & Bad Influence vs World Champion Jeff Hardy, James Storm & AJ Styles
Daniels and Kazarian are wearing Zubaz pants, bringing back haunting memories of the 80s. Storm and Kazarian start us off and Storm cleans house, hitting a Thesz Press and a pair of running forearms. AJ is arguing with Hardy and they almost miss a tag from Storm, then Storm and AJ argue as Hardy winds up in the wrong part of town. Hardy regains control by nailing Daniels with an inverted enziguiri and then tags out to AJ. Daniels runs for his life and tags out to Kazarian, but AJ catches him with a flying headscissors and tags Hardy back in to hit Poetry In Motion in the corner. Hardy covers for 2 as we go to commercial.
We're back, and Hardy is in trouble as Kazarian has him in a straitjacket hold. Hardy tries to get away, but winds up on the receiving end of a triple team by the good part of Fortune. Daniels and Kazarian tease the Gangnam dance, but then don't deliver. Roode unloads on Hardy with hard(y) right hands and gets a vertical suplex for 2. Bad Influence hits a Hart Attack on Hardy for 2, then Roode nails an elbowsmash from the outside. They go inside where Roode gets another back elbow and stomps on Hardy's chest, grinding his boot in for good measure. Roode comes off the second rope and catches a boot to the gut on the way down, then Hardy hits the Twist of Fate and tags out to AJ, who cleans house on both Daniels and Kazarian. He plants Kazarian with the hammerlock suplex for 2, then Storm hits Closing Time on Roode, a lungblower on Daniels, and he Cactus clotheslines Daniels to the floor. Daniels rams Storm into the steps as AJ takes on Roode and Kazarian in the ring, hitting a deathdrop/DDT combo on both men. AJ goes for a springboard move and Daniels shakes to ropes, Storm comes in and makes the save, and he and AJ get into an argument as Hardy tags himself in and hits the Twist of Fate on Kazarian for the win.
Winners: Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles & James Storm
Storm and AJ head to the back as Aces & Eights comes out of the crowd and kick the crap out of Hardy. Storm finally comes running back out and chases them off as Roode stands smiling and applauding at the top of the ramp as we learn that he paid Aces & Eights off to attack Hardy.
