2006 - WWE's version of the new ECW hits an all time low with its final PPV outing, the December to Dismember.  The poorly received show resulted in Paul Heyman walking out of the company, not returning until 2012.  Mike Johnson filed the following PPV report:

ECW's December to Dismember opened with a video feature on the Extreme Elimination Chamber match featuring highlights of major moves from ECW stars with comments from Paul Heyman, Big Show, and others interspersed with the narrator.

The show opened with a pyrotecnics burst that likely cost more than the entire financial budget of ECW's first PPV, Barely Legal. Joey Styles and Tazz welcomed everyone to the show, putting over the Extreme Elimination Chamber match. They then shot it over the Spanish Announce Team.

MNM vs. The Hardy Boyz

MNM did their grand entrance, with Joey Styles saying this would likely be the one and only time they would ever compete together in ECW.  That would certainly explain why they had new matching fur coats, complete with digital messages flashing across them.  There was a big "Hardys" chant when they came to the ring.

Joey Mercury and Matt Hardy started the match, locking up and then shoving each other away.  Hardy took Mercury down with a side headlock several times, going to the mat.  The Hardys and MNM both faced off in the center of the ring arguing.  There were some brief technical issues with the cameras freezing.

The Hardys tagged in and out, working over Mercury, including a double wheelbarrow suplex.  Nitro tagged in, but was soon on the receiving end of The Hardy's offense as well.  Hardy went for a jawbreaker but Nitro broke it.  MNM hit a double reverse elbow on Jeff Hardy.  There was a slight, "She's a crackwhore" chant at Melina.

Nitro went for a standing moonsault press but missed.  Matt tagged in and began unloading on Nitro.  Hardy hit a Splash Mountain out of the corner but Mercury broke it up.  He rebounded off the ropes but Melina tried to trip him.  Matt went out of the ring but was hit by Mercury.  You'd think Hardy would know to ignore women in wrestling by now.

MNM hit a gutbuster on Matt.  WWE's production team appeared to mute a "She's got herpes" chant.  Nitro received a two count on Hardy and then distracted the referee.  Melina worked him over from ringside.  Nitro hit Jeff, forcing the referee to push him back into the corner.  MNM worked over Matt while the referee's back was turned, but only received a two count.

MNM went for a double suplex but Matt landed on his feet and hit a neckbreaker on both.  He crawled for the tag, but MNM knocked Jeff to the floor and continued beating on Matt.  Mercury went for the Twist of Fate but Matt shoved him into the corner, where Nitro was standing on the top rope.  Nitro was crotched.

Jeff Hardy tagged in and hit a ton of offense on Mercury.  He nailed a low legdrop but Nitro broke up the pinfall.  Hardy spiked Nitro on his head.  Matt hit a clotheslines over the top on Mercury, then dove outside.  The fans chanted "ECW."  Nitro then did a running tope.  Jeff went to the top and dove off all three.  The fans chanted, "Holy sh**"

The Hardys tossed MNM back in the ring.  Matt hit the Twist of Fate on Mercury.  Jeff went for the Swanton, but Nitro broke it up.  He dragged Matt out of the ring and slammed his head into the apron.  Nitro hit a missile dropkick on Jeff for a two count.  Nitro brought Jeff into MNM's corner and began working over his back.

MNM hit a double slingshot on Jeff, sending him into the turnbuckles.  Mercury locked on a surfboard style move as Jeff tried to work his way to the ropes to force a break.  Mercury continued to onslaught.  MNM sent Hardy into the corner again.  Nitro tossed Jeff to the floor where a waiting Melina kicked Hardy in the gut.  Mercury joined in.  Hardy was tossed back into the ring, where Mercury got several two counts.  He continued working on Hardy's lower back.  MNM did the old Demolition finisher.  Matt Hardy broke up the pinfall.

Mercury worked over Hardy with a rear chinlock.  Hardy fought to his feet.  Mercury rolled up Hardy but Hardy kicked out, sending Mercury out of the ring in the process.  Jeff went to make a tag but Mercury attacked Matt from the floor, preventing the tag yet again.

MNM continued the assault until Jeff was able to dive off the top with the Will O'The Wisp turning moonsault press.  He tagged Matt, who cleaned house with punches and clotheslines.  He hit a running clothesline on Nitro in the corner and bulldogged him, clotheslining Mercury at the the same time.  Hardy hit the Side Effect on Nitro for a near-fall.  He went to the second rope to hit his trademark legdrop, getting another close near-fall.

Jeff went to the top and Matt brought Nitro over for a powerbomb.  Mercury attacked Matt, then gave Nitro some momentum, allowing him to hit a hurrancanrana off the top on Jeff.  All four brawled in the ring.  The Hardys hit stereo superplexes on MNM.  Melina tried to slap Jeff, but he grabbed her arm.  Nitro went to dropkick Jeff, but he sidestepped.  If you are reading this anywhere but PWInsider.com, why are you supporting lazy cut and paste idiots?  Melina was hit in the face by the dropkick and took a bump from the apron to the floor.

Jeff caught Nitro with a nearfall.  MNM grabbed Jeff and hit the Snapshot, but Matt Hardy interfered to save the pinfall.  The crowd began chanting, "Hardys."  MNM tried to set up a top rope snapshot but Matt broke it up.  He hit a double neckbreaker on MNM and laid them atop of each other.

Jeff Hardy hit the swanton bomb off the top on both and scored the pinfall.  A really good opening match that told a story, had some great near falls and fun wrestling.  A great way to start the PPV.

Your winners, Matt and Jeff Hardy.

Joey Styles and Tazz discussed how history was just made with the opening match and that history would continue tonight with the Extreme Elimination Chamber.

Rob Van Dam, in a pre-taped segment, said that he understands the risks involved and that he's going to end up with scars on his body.  He says that the ECW title is worth the risk and when you think ECW World champion, you should think Rob Van  Dam.

Matt Striker made his way to the ring.   He took the mic and insulted the crowd.  He asked the fans if they wanted to see him in Extreme Rules tonight.  They cheered.  Striker said we'd see "Extreme Enforcement of the Rules" and that tonight's match would be under Striker's Rules.  He ran down a number of rules, including no moves off the top ropes and challenged Balls Mahoney to see if he can wrestle.

Matt Striker vs. Balls Mahoney

Mahoney and Striker started off with Mahoney outwrestling Striker and locking in a crossarmbreaker.  Striker made his way to the ring.  Striker attempted to go for a test of strength, then nailed Mahoney.  He was whipped into the corner but escaped, so Balls hit the corner with his shoulder.

Striker went right after the arm, working over it with an armbar of sorts.  Striker used some hairpulling to take Mahoney down.  Striker continued the assault, getting several near-falls.  Striker continued focusing on Balls' arm.  Striker whipped Balls into the corner, but Balls fought back as Striker charged.  Balls unloaded with a series of punches.  Striker tried to take him down with an armbar, but Mahoney escaped and continued nailing jabs.

Mahoney went to the top rope, but Striker shook the ropes, forcing Mahoney to crotch himself.  Striker nailed a rolling Fujiwara armbar.  He cinched back hard on it, including a bridge.  Mahoney teased that he was going to tap out but made it to the ropes with his leg.  Striker went for a sideheadlock but Mahoney nailed a belly to back suplex.

Mahoney made a comeback with a backdrop, with Striker nearly landing on his head.  Mahoney peppered him with punches, finally taking him down.  The fans did the traditional "Balls" chant with each punch.  Balls hit a sitdown spinebuster for the pin.

Your winner, Balls Mahoney!

They aired a commercial for the Brian Pillman DVD.  You can order it from our pals at www.Highspots.com.

Backstage, they showed CM Punk preparing backstage.

They then went to a scene of EMTs working over an unconscious Sabu.  Paul Heyman arrived on the scene demanding to know what was happening, saying he was competing tonight.  They began loading Sabu on a stretcher.  The live crowd began loudly chanting, "Bullsh**" which was greatly muted on the PPV production.  According to those at the PPV, the crowd is much louder than it is coming across via the broadcast.

Elijah Burke & Sylvester Turkay vs. The FBI

Elijah said that for the first-time ever, it was the Elijah Burke Experience on PPV.  He said he and Turkay were ready for a fight.  The FBI came with Trinity.  Interesting to note that the official T-shirt for the PPV lists Burke vs. Al Snow on the back, so that was the plan at one point.

Little Guido started with Burke.  Guido ended up stealing Burke's hat and putting it on.  Mamaluke tagged in and worked over Burke's arm. Turkay tagged in and immediately began destroying Mamaluke with knee strikes.  Turkay charged the corner but Mamaluke ducked and he hit hard.  Guido dove off the top but was caught.  Turkey kicked Mamaluke out of the ring, then tossed Guido out of the ring atop of Mamaluke.  Burke tossed Guido back into the ring.

As the match continued, Tazz and Styles discussed what may have happened to Sabu, given what a tough competitor he is.

Turkey and Burke continued to work on Guido.  Mamaluke broke up a pinfall attempt.  Guido began fighting back and ducked a kick.  Mamaluke tagged in and began cleaning house on Burke.  Mamaluke even took down Turkay with several kicks and a dropkick to the face.  The FBI hit a double flapjack on Burke for a near-fall.

Burke sent Mamaluke into a Turkay forearm.  Mamaluke stagged into Burke, who nailed the Elijah Burke Experience (Jeff Jarrett's Stroke finisher) for the pin.  Guido returned to the ring to look over Mamaluke.  Turkay grabbed him and hit a muscle buster.  As he set up the move, you could clearly hearing a fan screaming, "TNA! TNA!"

Your winners, Sylvester Turkay and Elijah Burke!

Backstage, Sabu was being loaded into an ambulance. CM Punk and Rob Van Dam were on the scene watching and questioning what happened.

Daivari (with Great Khali) vs. Tommy Dreamer

The ring announcer didn't even call Dreamer "The Innovator of Violence."  Wow. The fans chanted ECW at Dreamer.  Daivari sent Khali to the floor.  Daivari tried to attack Dreamer but retreated.  Dreamer had words with Khali, allowing Daivari to jump him from behind.  Dreamer hit a big hiptoss and Daivari retreated to the floor.

Daivari returned and Dreamer took him down with an armbar.  Daivari reversed it and poked Dreamer in the eye.  He knocked Dreamer to the apron and hit a baseball slide on Dreamer.

Back in the ring, Dreamer caught Daivari with a suplex.  He rebounded off the ropes but Khali pulled the ropes down and Dreamer spilled over to the floor.  The referee threw Khali out of ringside as Daivari freaked out.  Daivari sent Khali to the back and tossed Dreamer back into the ring.

Daivari worked over Dreamer with a rearchinlock.  Live, there was a "We want hardcore" chant that was muted by the PPV broadcast.  Dreamer began battling back with elbows but Daivari took him back down.  Daivari scored a nearfall after working over Dreamer's neck and back.

Daivari locked in a sleeper on Dreamer.  All this offense feels like a 1980s WWF Superstars match.  Daivari wrapped his legs around Dreamer with Tazz saying he was going for a rear naked choke.  Dreamer dropped backwards with an Electric Chair like move.  They both got back to their feet with Dreamner unloading with a ton of offense.

Dreamer backdropped Daivari, then hit an inverted DDT for a near-fall.  Daivari elbowed Dreamer in the face as he charged.  He went to the top.  Dreamer followed him but was shoved off.  Daivari went for a splash but Dreamer moved.  Dreamer tied Daivari to the tree of woe and hit the running dropkick to Daivari's face.  The place yelled "ECW" with Dreamer and started chanting ECW after the move.

Dreamer went for his DDT.  Daivari rolled up Dreamer and hooked the tights for the pin.  Nope, I'm not kidding.  The crowd kept waiting for old school Tommy Dreamer and got really into the match once they had it for a second, then died when he immediately lost.

Your winner, Daivari!

Dreamer followed Daivari back up to the stage, where Khali grabbed him and slammed Dreamer down on the steel stage.  They showed Khali and Daivari lurking above the unconscious Dreamer, showing several replays of the bump.  Dreamer was telling the EMTs that he couldn't feel his feet.  After a few minutes of selling, he made his way to his feet, fighting to regain his balance.  The place began chanting "ECW" as he showed them respect.

Backstage, Paul Heyman came to Hardcore Holly and explained that Sabu was hurt and may not be in the Elimination Chamber.  He told Holly that tonight, he would be Sabu's replacement in the Extreme Elimination Chamber.  He told Holly that it would be every man for himself and that he would be looking forward to Holly in the Chamber tonight.

Live, the entire Arena booed the segment.

Tazz and Joey Styles discussed the change in the main event.   I hope that's a storyline because advertising two matches, then pulling a bait and switch in one of them is a really low thing to do, especially since any fan that watches ECW is likely a Sabu fan as well

Mike Knox & Kelly Kelly vs. Kevin Thorn & Ariel - Mixed Tag Match

Kelly Kelly took the mic and said she wanted to wish CM Punk good luck tonight.  There was a "Punk" chant live.  Knox wasn't happy with Kelly.  Holy crap, Ariel looked beyond hot.

Thorn and Knox started off.  It appeared Knox is growing his hair out, which is good as he had a way better look when it was longer in Deep South Wrestling.  Fertig had a new red outfit.  Fertig cleaned house with a series of moves, following them up with kicks to the back.  They did a lot of gratuitous shots of the women in the corners.

Knox took down Thorn by the hair and hit a running lariat clothesline.  Thorn came back, working over Knox in the corner.  Knox slammed Thorn for a two count.  Ariel was really vocal in the corner screaming, trying to get the crowd into the match.  Knox had Thorn in a front facelock with Thorn finally pushing him into the corner.

Thorn tagged Ariel in.  She demanded Kelly be tagged in.  Kelly looked worried but then tagged in.  Kelly charged but was kicked in the stomach.  Her bump was amateur hour.  Ariel began pulling her hair and grabbing at her.  Ariel kept stomping and chopping her.  She choked Kelly with her foot in the corner.  Kelly looked extremely out of place in the ring.  Ariel missed a charge in the corner.  Kelly struggled to make a tag but Ariel cut her off and hit an elbow.

Kelly tried to make a tag, but Knox looked at her and walked off.  The announcers said Knox set up Kelly after the last few weeks by booking her in this match.  The crowd began chanting for CM Punk.  Ariel began choking her and hit something of an STO, scoring the pin.

Your winners, Ariel and Kevin Thorn!

Tazz called Knox a "son of a b***h" for dragging Kelly Kelly into this instead of just leaving her like a man.  Ariel continued to destroy Kelly.  Sandman's music hit and he made his grand entrance from the crowd.  The crowd was into Sandman big-time live.

Thorn tried to hit Sandman with his walking stick but Sandman evaded and caned the hell out of Thorn.  The fans chanted "ECW".  Thorn escaped up the ramp but Sandman pursued him, caning Thorn the entire way back.  Sandman cracked open a beer on the stage and celebrated.

Michael Cole ran down the matches for the Armaggedon PPV in a few weeks. Hey, wouldn't it have been nice if ECW, I don't know, had the chance to do the same on WWE programming?

Obviously, Sandman vs. Bob Holly is no longer scheduled.

Rebecca interviewed Bobby Lashley backstage. They aired a Lashley package, showing how Paul Heyman has had it out for Lashley since he debuted. Lashley said he was "One Man, One Mission, ECW World champion."

They showed Test, Hardcore Holly, and ECW champion Big Show walking with Paul Heyman in the back.

They aired an Extreme Elimination Chamber match promo.

Paul Heyman made his way to the ring with his security force. Heyman put over how intense the Extreme Elimination Chamber was saying, "It's one things to make plans for it. It's another thing to stand under it." He praised himself, saying Hulkamania will die with Hulk Hogan, The "Whoos" will die with Ric Flair, but ECW will live on long after Paul Heyman is dead. I think a lot of people will be surprised if ECW is alive a year from now. He said that Sabu missed his chance to take part in the Chamber and the day of Sabu, Sandman, and Rob Van Dam is dead and over. He said 2007 is the rise of the global phenomenon ECW, led by The Big Show. He said tonight will be the crowning of Big Show's career and called for the Chamber to be lowered.

The match will start with two competitors in the ring and four in the pods with weapons. Sfter five minutes, a new competitor will be released. Another competitor will follow every five minutes after, with competitors eliminated by pinfall or submission. If WWE wants this show to be fondly remembered, they will need to lay it all on the line here, as the rest of the card (minus the opener) has felt like filler while waiting for the main course, which is hardly what ECW was ever about in the past.

Extreme Elimination Chamber: ECW champion Big Show vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Rob Van Dam vs. CM Punk vs. Hardcore Holly vs. Test

Big Show came to the ring first and practiced swinging a barbed wire baseball bat. Show was locked in the pod. Punk was second and immediately got into the face of Show, who was inside the pod. Punk was locked in with a steel chair. Test was third out, locked inside a pod with a crowbar. Lashley was out fourth, locked in with a table.

Rob Van Dam and Hardcore Holly are starting the match.

Van Dam and Holly began the match. RVD kicked Holly in the face and clotheslined him. Holly came back with a clothesline of his own, getting a one count. They battled to the steel outside the ring. Van Dam dove off the ropes towards Holly, who evaded it. Van Dam caught himself on the cage, then jumped at Holly. Holly moved and RVD caught the ropes. Holly slammed Van Dam on the steel and then into the cage's fencing. Holly went to the top and jumped off but RVD put his foot up. RVD ran across the ring and pulled himself over the top to the outside with Rolling Thunder on the steel. Van Dam tried to suplex Holly, who reserved and suplexed him into the ring. Van Dam and Holly battled inside the ring, culminating with Van Dam kicking Holly. Fans began chanting for CM Punk to be released. Holly got a near-fall on Van Dam

Third Competitor Released: CM Punk

Punk hit the ring and nailed Holly with the chair. He tried to do the same with Van Dam but was hit with a Van Daminator. RVD monkeyflipped Punk onto a chair. Punk hit a legdrop on a chair on RVD, then hit a springboard leg lariat on Holly. Van Dam was bleeding above his right eye. Punk slammed him into a chair that was wedged in between several turnbuckles. Punk went after Holly, who grabbed Punk and threw him upside down into the Chamber's fencing. Holly tried to get a pin on Punk, who kicked up. Heyman was screaming for Holly to eliminate someone. Van Dam, a bloody mess, laid on the mat fora long time.

Holly turned his attention on Punk, who kept kicking up. Holly picked up Punk for a suplex and draped him chest-first over the top rope. He sent Punk into the cage. Holly put Punk on the top rope and hit a superplex with both men standing on top of the ropes. Van Dam tried to sneak in a pin on Holly, who kicked out. Holly tried to get a pin on Punk, who kicked out as well. Punk came back with a big lariat on Holly.

Fourth Competitor Released: Test

Test nailed Punk with the crowbar and immediately went after RVD, working over his cut with it. Test choked Punk out against the ropes. Van Dam clotheslined Holly, then followed up with a reverse kick. Van Dam drilled Test with a chair, then slammed it over Holly, who was down in the corner. Van Dam hit the skateboarding dropkick with the chair on Punk. Van Dam went to the trop and hit the Five Star Frog Splash on Punk. He covered Punk and scored the pin.

CM Punk has been eliminated.

Test turned on Holly and laid him out. Van Dam took down Test with a kick. Van Dam climbed atop of the pod that contained Big Show, but Show grabbed RVD's foot. Test drilled RVD with a chair and destroyed him. He suplexed Van Dam into the ring. Test climbed atop of the pod and dropped an elbow on Van Dam's face, which was covered by a chair. Test pinned Rob Van Dam.

Rob Van Dam has been eliminated.

The crowd began chanting, "Bullsh**." There was a TNA chant as well, but WWE's production muted it.

Test pinned Holly with a big boot. Gee, that makes sense.

Fifth Competitor Released: Lashley

Paul Heyman's security laid out the person responsible for releasing Lashley, trapping him inside the pod. Lashley used the table inside as a spear to break the chains locking him inside the pod and climbed out. Lashley kicked Test away, then hit a clothesline into the ring. He went right after Test, beating him outside the ring into the fencing. He whipped Test into two pod, sending him into them and destroying them in the process. Test tried to nail Lashley with a chair and something went wrong with the timing. Lashley kicked it finally and suplexed Test. Lashley finally scored the pin on Test after a crowbar to the stomach and a spear. eliminating him with 40 seconds to go.

As Lashley waited for Big Show to be released, he threw a table and the chair at the pod.

Final Competitor Released: Big Show

Show came out, wielding the barbed wire bat. Lashley wielded the chair. Lashley quickly took down Show and drilled his head into the Chamber several times. Lashley got a mixed reaction playing to the crowd. Show was busted open. He whipped Show into a pod with Show crashing into it. Lashley went after Show, who tossed him into the ring with a Beal Throw. Show called for a chokeslam, but when he lifted Lashley, it was countered into a DDT. Lashley charged Show but was caught and tossed off. Lashley speared Show for the pin.

Your winner and new ECW World champion, Bobby Lashley.

Quick thoughts: This was easily the least memorable of any Elimination Chamber in the history of WWE. What a show. If WWE was looking to bury the ECW name, they certainly accomplished that here. They announce two matches for the show then bait and switch one of the competitors in the chamber. That match is also is built around weapons that are hardly used. They don't allow any of the old ECW characters to work in ECW style on the undercard. The opener is the only truly memorable thing and it doesn't feature anyone from the ECW brand. They eliminate their fastest rising star first out of the Chamber, just a week after he receives a star's reaction at Survivor Series while standing alongside the company's top babyface act in DX. Unless they want Punk to be as meaningless as the rest of the ECW undercard appeared to be tonight, there was no reason to kill him off the way they accomplished it tonight. The show ended 30 minutes early, the shortest WWE PPV in years. All this adds up to a future for the ECW brand that is murky at best and sad at worst. Wow. Paul Heyman said tonight that ECW would live on well after he was gone. I wouldn't place bets on that one because it certainly seemed like WWE doesn't want those letters to survive after watching this show.

2007 - JAKKS Pacific issued the following brief press release announcing that the Federal lawsuit brought by WWE against the toy company for bribery and other actions involving the license for WWE video games.  WWE was looking to have their contract with JAKKS (which both parties are still working under) nullified.  Although the lawsuit was dismissed, WWE still severed ties with the company, moving on to work with Mattel.

2007 - WWE broadcast Raw.  Richard Trionfo filed the following TV report:

Last week we saw Chris Jericho tell Randy Orton that he wanted a title match at Armageddon and we found out from the WWE website that Orton agreed to the match. We also saw the return of Ric Flair to Raw and he said that he is not going to retire for a long time. Vince McMahon told Flair that his retirement party would start as soon as he lost his next match. We saw that the retirement was not going to start last week thanks to Chris Jericho. Who will Vince send out to try to end the career of The Nature Boy? Now that Team BFF 2007 appears to be no more since they are wrestling each other at Armageddon, will we see Triple H try to weaken his opponent tonight? What is next for Shawn Michaels? Who are the next challengers for the World Tag Team Champions? Who will Beth Phoenix face next? What words will Santino Marella mess up this week? Will Ken Kennedy be able to get through the Shawn Michaels Gauntlet of Doom?

We start off with a look back at last week's episode of Raw when Chris Jericho decided to use some graphics to let Randy Orton know that he wanted a title match. Remember when Ric Flair was told by Vince McMahon that his career ends when he loses? Remember how Randy Orton vowed to end the career, but Ric Flair won thanks to help from Chris Jericho?

We are live from Charleston, South Carolina and your announcers are Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.

Chris Jericho comes to the ring and he says that when he came back he wanted to win the title, but Sanchico Marella put it right when he said that Jericho couldn't rest on his laurels or butcher the English language. He had to anger, aggravate, and cost Orton a match against Ric Flair. He had to manipulate Orton like a puppet. After Raw, he got the answer from Randy Orton. Jericho says that he got a tingle in his pants from his phone because of WWE Mobile. We see Orton's response to Jericho[s question after last week's Raw. Jericho tells everyone to text his friends because at Armageddon there will be a new champion and it will be him.

WWE Champion Randy Orton comes to the ring. He says that everything is about Chris Jericho. He tells Jericho that he thinks that got under his skin, but he gave Jericho the match because he knows that he can beat him. Over the last two years, he has beaten Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and John Cena. Jericho interrupts Orton and says that he used to brag about beating the Rock and Steve Austin in the same night to become the first Undisputed Champion. Jericho says that means nothing today. Orton might be devious, but so is he. Orton says that if Chris is going to be honest, he does not like Jericho one bit and he would wipe the smirk off Jericho's face without breaking a sweat. Jericho says that he is ready for Orton.

William Regal says that they shan't be having anything happening because we will be seeing the main event from Armageddon. Regal says that each man will get to pick the other's opponent tonight. Regal asks Orton who he wants to see Jericho wrestle. Orton says that if Jericho thinks he is so tough, he will face someone he has never wrestled before. It will be Umaga.  CZW Junior Heavyweight champion Sami Callihan vs. Big Japan's Yoshihito Sasaki

This is Callihan's first title defense after winning the belt from Adam Cole last month at Night of Infamy.

They got right into each other's faces jockeying for position.  Callihan forced Sasaki into the corner and chopped him hard.  Sasaki fought back but was tagged again.  He started to return the chops and they were soon turning their chests beat red.  It was damn stiff.

Mashimo caught Younger in an armbar submission and Younger tapped.  The finish seemed to come out of nowhere.

Your winners, Kaentai Dojo's Kengo Mashimo & Freedom's Takashi Sasaki!

Decent tag match with some nice action.  Team CZW offered their hands afterward, but the Japanese were wary of taking them.   They finally agreed but were attacked as they were shaking.  They brawled and ran CZW out of the ring.  Masada and Younger grabbed chairs and ran them back out of the ring. Some of the crowd chanted "USA."

Younger said that this wasn't going to go down on his first night back.  He promised to kick the crap out of Rory Mondo tonight and said he would get them back, whether it was here or in Japan.  Sasaki took the mic and told them to speak in Japanese.

Dick Togo vs. Kudo vs. DDT's Triangle Ribbon champion Masa Takanashi

This is Togo's final appearance in the ECW Arena, so he got a huge reaction and streamers.  All three went into a crazy back and forth series of reversals before facing off.  Great stuff.  Togo and Kudo started teaming on Takanashi.  Takanashi came back to nail a kick to Togo and flipped around Kudo, using an armdrag takedown to send him to the floor.

Takanashi and Togo went back and forth.  Togo killed him with a clothesline and worked him over in the corner with punches.  Kudo tried to sneak up but was caught with a bodypress by Togo.   On the floor, Togo held Takanahashi for a Kudo dive only Kudo wiped them both out with a tope.

Back in the ring, Kudo drilled Takanahashi in the back with a kick and locked in a body scissors.  Togo kicked him and scissored Kudo's head so it was a three man submission.   When Kudo and Takanahashi broke free, they agreed to team on Togo and starting stomping him.  The crowd hated that.  They drilled Togo with a double chop as he rebounded off the ropes.

Shattered Dreams Match (Glass is Legal): Big Japan Wrestling's Jaki Numazaewa & Freedom's Jun Kasai vs. Big Japan's Ryuji Ito & CZW's Danny Havoc.

There was a big "Crazy Monkey" chant for Kasai.  There are four panes of glass in the corners, propped against the turnbuckles.

Kasai and Jaki attacked Ito and Havoc immediately.  Ito and Kasai tried to throw each other into a pane of glass in the corner.  Kasai was chased outside and when Ito tried to follow him back in the ring, he was nailed with a dropkick,.  They battled to the outside.  In the ring, Jaki nailed Havoc with a rana.  They exchanged disgustingly sick stiff headbutts.  Jaki whipped Havoc into the glass and it exploded.

Ito hit the ring and tried to whip Jaki into the glass but Kasai stopped it.  They whipped Ito into the glass, then dragged Havoc across the remnants across the mat.  Jaki continued working over Havoc, biting his forehead and beating him with punches.  Kasai tagged in and slammed him on the mat, then nailed a senton splash for a two count.

Jaki and Kasai tagged in and out, working over Havoc with kicks.  Jaki drilled Havoc with a standing DDT for a two count.   Kasai grabbed a can of soda from a fan and beat Havoc with it, then DDT'd him on the can, crushing.  The fans chanted, "Pepsi."  Kasai ran Havoc into Jaki's boots.   They continued tagging in and out, working over Havoc.

Kasai snapped Havoc with a dropkick for a two count.  Havoc stopped himself from being whipped into a glass pane and fought back with a series of kicks.  He tried to go for a back suplex into the pane of glass but Kasai fought back.  Havoc threw a chair in his face and went to the top.  He grabbed the pane of glass and came off the top, driving it with his knee into Kasai.  That was insane.

Maven Bentley came out and said that in CZW, they try to give the best of every style but there are several men here who are truly the best at what they do. He introduced a group of Marines who were in the house to collect donations for Toys for Tots.

CZW Wired champion Jake Crist vs. Dave Crist.

They started out hot with a lot of fast action. Jake hit a crazy tope through the ropes. Dave came back with a big twisting dive over the top to the floor. Jake tried to leap off the ropes but was kneed in the air. Dave charged him but Jake moved. Dave went for a monkey flip but Jake turned it around and landed on his feet. Dave nailed him with an elbow. Jake drilled him with several superkicks and a back suplex for a two count. He grabbed an armbar submission but Dave fought it off. Dave landed a cutter but was too tired to follow up. He finally covered Jake, but only scored a two count.

Dave went to the top rope but was cut off. Jake nailed a superplex, then pulled him back up for another suplex. Jake followed up with a shining wizard for a two count. Dave came back with a springboard into an awesome looking DDT for a two count. He followed up with a bulldog like move, flying through the ropes and clotheslining his brother on the ropes throat-first.

They battled on the top rope until Jake Crist drilled his brother with a Canadian flip piledriver off the top for the pin. THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY SICK!

Your winner and still champion, Jake Crist!

Jake offered his brother his hand, but was slapped instead. Crist chased Dave back to the locker room.

Awesome, balls to the wall sick action with a ton of high spots and stiff action.

Best of Three Tables: BLK-OUT (Ruckus & Alex Colon & Chrissy Rivera with Robbie Mireno) vs. The Runaways (Joe Gacy & Ryan Slater & Kimber Lee)

The girls started catfighting immediately but were broken up by the teams, who then started brawling.   Colon and Slater went back and forth in the ring with hiptosses and armdrags as Slater and Ruckus brawled on the floor.  Colon dove out on Gacy while Slater his a dive on Ruckus.  The girls started slugging it out and went back and forth until Rivera speared Lee.  Ruckus nailed the Razzle Dazzle on her followed by Colon kicking her.  Rivera nailed a Facewash on Lee.

Lee cut her off with a shot and went to the top.  Rivera joined her battling as the teams brawled on the floor.  Rivera superplexed Lee off the top onto everyone and the building went nuts.  As everyone recovered, Ruckus set up a table in the corner but was attacked by Gacy.  Ruckus went for a handspring elbow off the ropes but was caught and nailed.

Gacy grabbed Rivera by the hair and tried to throw her into the table.  She ran up the table, slid down and low blowed him.  She then hit a tornado DDT off the table.  Lee attacked her and started choking her.  The Runaways started triple teamed her and powerbombed Rivera through a table.

It's 1-0 in Falls for the Runaways.

River was carried out.

The Runaways tried to triple team Colon but he was able to maneuver Lee and Gacy into the corner and wiped them out.  He drilled Lee with a running foot.  Colon was grabbed and suplexed off the corner by Slater, who was now hanging off the ropes.  Ruckus hit a Van Terminator on Slater while he was hanging.   Gacy attacked Ruckus and they battled on the top rope.  Ruckus tried to superplex him out of the ring onto a table on the floor but was unable to do so.  Colon came out of anywhere with a flying leg lariat and wiped out Gacy, sending him to the floor through a different table.

It's now tied.

Gacy was out on the floor.

Lee nailed a top rope rana on Colon.  Lee and Slater laid him out with flying moves.  They set up a table on the floor.  Lee and Slater tried to double suplex Ruckus out of the ring but Colon attacked Slater and they battled back and forth.  Left alone, Lee was no match for Ruckus and was hit with a suplex into an inverted sit-down bomb through a table on the floor.

Your winners, BLK OUT!

This was absolutely mind blowing, just in terms of the crazy male vs. female violence and some really creative spots and brutal looking table spots.  This needed to be a war because of the feud and it was.  Great stuff.

Six Man Scramble: Alex Payne vs. Drew Gulak vs. tHURTeen vs. Ryan McBride vs. Derek Frazier  vs. Dustin Rayz to determine number one contender to CZW title.

McBride and Rayz started out.  McBride grabbed a side headlock but was sent into the ropes.  Rayz was dropkicked out of the ring.  Payne nailed a springboard dropkick in on McBride.  He shoved him into the ropes and rebounded landing with all his weight on him.  Payne followed up with several headbutts and whipped McBride into the corner, drilling him with a running knee.  Frazier blind tagged in and unloaded with chops on Payne.

Thurteen tagged in and we had a flurry of people tagging in and out doing crazy moves.  Rayz hit a moonsault on McBride.  Payne hit the ring and worked over McBride, stomping him and nailing a running kick.  He peppered him with forearms and suplexed him over.  Frazier attacked Payne and dispatched him, then stood over McBride with one foot.  Thurteen, Payne and Rayz all tried to dropkick him but he ducked, so they all nailed him with three at the same time.

They continued with a lot of fast spots.  Rayz set up McBride on the ropes and nailed him.  Payne powerslammed him off the ropes.  Payne hit  dive to the floor.  Rayz nailed a moonsault off the top to the floor and wiped everyone but Gulak, who remained in his corner the entire match.  A ton of officials ran out to check on him and he was eventually stretchered out.

Inside the ring, the match continued with the others all battling back and forth and doing some unique three way submissions.  Frazier nailed Thurteen and got into it with referee Dru Blood, who he's had issues with, so Blood attacked him and threw him out of the ring.  Blood hit a tope to the outside and then nailed Frazier with a chair.  They kept brawling and that brought out a ton of officials to break them up.

In the chaos, Gulak covered Thurteen and pinned him, becoming the new number one contender for the CZW title.

As officials held Blood and Frazier apart, CZW owner DJ Hyde came out.  He told Blood he is not a wrestler anymore and questioned him.  He asked Blood if he wanted a match and then asked Frazier if he wanted to see it.  He asked the fans if they wanted to see it.  Hyde instead told Blood he was fired and told security to throw him out.  Frazier and McBride started brawling.  Hyde told him that if they wanted to fight, they can do it in January and to get out the building.  Hyde heard the fans chanting at him and told them that they probably want to see John Zandig, the former owner back.  The place popped.  He said too bad they'd never see him again, since he's retired.  Foreshadowing perhaps?

Drake Younger vs. Rory Mondo

There are weapons in the ring and a barbed wire board.  Younger immediately drilled Mondo with a punch, then pressed and threw him out of the ring through the barbed wire board which on a  table on the floor.    The place went nuts for that.  He drilled Mondo with a sick chair shot, then a barbed wire board to the gut.  He nailed a Russian Legsweep with the board and then drilled it into Mondo's head before stomping it into his head.

Mondo was busted open.  Young spilled Tekkens on the mat and nailed a delayed vertical suplex on them.  The crowd chanted, "Stick it in his head."  Younger slammed Mondo on them, then slammed a chair onto them.  Younger beat the piss out of him with a water jug that was attached to a stick.  Younger went to nail him with a trash can but Mondo kicked him in the gut and nailed him twice with it.  He put the tekken in Younger's head and drilled him with the can again.

Younger made a comeback and nailed a powerbomb off the top onto the trash can, which was turned upside down.  The can did NOT budge one bit.  It was one of the sickest spots I've ever seen.  Younger pulled the tekken out of his own head.  He grabbed a box and dumped an entire box full of broken glass onto the mat.  He pressed and dropped Mondo onto it and then pulled him across it in circles.

Younger filled Mondo's mouth with glass and punched him in the face.  He then threw a chair at Mondo.  He swung the chair again, but Mondo ducked and hit himself, laying himself out.  Mondo worked over Younger and placed him on a chair.  He nailed a double stomp off the chair for a two count.

Mondo set up a barbed wire board upside down so the barbed wire was facing Younger, over two chairs and double stomped it into Younger.  Younger kicked out and was psyched up by the move, eating glass and spitting it out.  He nailed Mondo with a pair of powerbombs on the glass, but Mondo kicked out.

Younger went for the Vertebreaker and nailed it on the glass, covering Mondo.  He pulled him up at one.  He set up a chair and hit a back superplex through the chair for the pin.

Your winner, Drake Younger!

That was a sick, insane, holy hell beatdown.  There were a hell of insane spots and crazy bumps that made you cringe and shake your head from the insanity.

Kamui & Yoshiko Sasaki & Masa Takanashi & Jun Kasai & Jaki Numazaewa vs. Danshoku Dieno & Kudo & Kengo Mashimo & Takashi Sasaki & Ryuji Ito

Dieno kissed Larry Legend again.  This was after he chased a guy who was in his underwear and tied up from the back and around ringside.  Different strokes rule the world, folks.  They all brawled at the bell.  Instant chaos.  Diego molested Kamui as he worked him over early.

Kamui came back with several dropkicks.  Mashimo tagged in and Yoshino followed in and began kicking each other back and forth.  Takanashi tagged in and worked over Yoshiko.  Kudo tagged in and nailed a slingshot double knees bomb attack on him for a two count.  Dieno tagged in and nailed a crotch to the face on Takanashi. He went to the top and pulled down his pants so his partners could run their opponent into his bare crotch.  This led to a comedy spot where Jaki used a broom to attack and it instead was embedded in his rear end.  This is what I write about for a living folks.  Dieno had trouble pulling it out so when Jaki did, there was brown at the tip.  Oh boy.  Dieno remained hanging atop the corner for a LONG time.

The battle kicked off with some crazy stiff back and forth action.  Kamui was powerbombed by Takashi but came back with a rolling kick and a senton.  Everyone hit the ring to break it up and brawled all over the arena.  Kamui tried to pulled down Dieno's pants and ended up shoved into the crack.

Everyone started working on Kamui.  Ito hit a frog splash but everyone hit the ring to break it up.   Takashi hit a Falcon's Arrow for the pin.

Your winners, Danshoku Dieno & Kudo & Kengo Mashimo & Takashi Sasaki & Ryuji Ito!

Quite the spectacle.

As the match settled into a more traditional battle, Most Wanted doubled on Homicide.   Homicide went back and forth with chops.  Jeez took control with a double slap to the ears and chops to the face.  They locked up and Homicide was forced into Most Wanted's corner.  They worked him over so Kingston charged and they all started brawling.  Kingston was thrown out of the ring and grabbed a chair but the referee took it.  Meanwhile, they continued the beating on Homicide in Most Wanted's corner.

The crowd rallied Homicide, who tried to go for the Gringo Killer.  Joker fought him off but was caught with a tornado DDT.  Homicide was caught with a tiltowhirl backbreaker.  Kingston lost it and tried to hit the ring but was held back, allowing more diabolic double teaming.

Homicide and Joker went back and forth.  Joker nailed Homicide but was caught with a crazy suplex throw.  Jeez was nailed with a series of strikes but drilled Kingston with a big DDT for a two count.   Jeez came off with a double stomp and covered Kingston but Maven Bentley pulled the referee out of the ring and told Jeez "F*** you."  Jeez throttled him and went back to the double stomp but missed.  Kingston laid him out.  Bentley told Kingston to kill Jeez but instead Kingston laid him out.

Homicide looked confused but finally agreed with Kingston and laid out the referee as well.  They turned their attention back to Most Wanted.  Kingston tossed a few chairs in the ring.  They rang the bell and declared it a no content.  They kept brawling as a ton of security hit the ring to break it up.  Jeez started killing people with chairs.   All four beat the hell out of the security.  The ring announcer tried again to announce it was over but Kingston took the mic and demanded Most Wanted return to the ring.  They finally returned and started brawling again.

One lone security guy tried to stop them to no avail.  Most Wanted split, so Homicide and Kingston decided to take their anger out of him, dropping him with a Gringo Killer on the mi and beating the piss out of him with chairs.   A fan was  giving Kingston static so he hopped the rails and went after him, getting in his face.

A really good brawl.

There is a pit of spikes and a pit of thumbtacks.   Havoc was bleeding early from his glass match wound.  Tremont tried to force his head into the spikes.  Havoc battled back and tried to force Tremont into the thumbtacks.  Tremont did the Cactus clothesline.

On the floor, Tremont nailed Havoc with a chair.  Havoc battled back with a series of shots.  He worked over Tremont with shots, then whipped him into the stairs.   Tremont came back with a slam.   Back in the ring, Tremont nailed a series of chops in the corner.  Havoc came back with a dropkick to the knee and a knee to the face.

Havoc battled Tremont over the spikes and Tremont teased falling into them, then grabbed Havoc and suplexed him on the spikes.  OUCH.  He ripped Havoc's face into the spike.    He slammed Havoc into the thumbtacks with a bunch embedded into his head, then poured some over Havoc's chest.  Tremont stomped the chest and then elbowdropped it.  He poured tacks in the ring and slammed Havoc on  them.

Tremont teased a powerbomb onto the spikes but was backdropped onto them.  His boot was totally embedded in them and it took three staffers to help pull his foot out of the spikes.  Havoc pulled him to the tacks and DDT'd him into that pit.   Tremont, who was now limping, kicked out.

Havoc followed up with a bulldog into the tacks with Tremont landed chest first on the tacks.  Havoc went to the top but Tremont tried to stop him.  He slammed Havoc off the top onto the tacks and powerbombed Havoc onto them for a two count.  This is a damn war of attrition.

Tremont poured all the tacks onto the mat.  He nailed a Samoan Drop onto the tacks.   Tremont scored a two count and retrieved a chair from under the ring.  He set it up in the corner.  He placed the board of spikes on the chair.  He tried to whip Havoc into the spikes but Havoc stopped short and kicked him in the face.  Tacks went flying.    Havoc tried whip him into it but it was reversed and he hit the spikes backfirst.  Tremont then nailed him with an Avalanche....and then he only got a two count!

He dug Havoc's face into the spikes and hit him with a curb stomp into the tacks.   Tremont grapevines the legs and locked in an STF combination.   Tremont set up the spikes in the center of the ring.  He went to get atop of Havoc who rose to his feet and gave Tremont to Electric Chair onto the spikes.  Havoc covered him for a two count.   Havoc came off the top with an elbow for another two count.

Havoc grabbed Tremont for a move but Drew Gulak hit the ring and booted Havoc, who fell backward into the spikes.  Gulak told Tremont to pin him and end it but Tremont got in his way.  Tremont was attacked by Gulak's bodyguard and clotheslined atop of Havok, who was still on the spikes.  Gulak, his manager Dewey Donovan and the bodyguard forced the referee to count the fall.

Your winner, Matt Tremont!

This was a hell of a death match with a ton of crazy, evil stunts and spots.  I loved it.  I didn't care for the Gulak angle at the end, but understood what the company was going for storyline wise with it.

Tremont tried to apologize to Havoc for what happened, but Havoc blew him off and slammed a chair out of frustration.   Tremont said that he waited his entire life for Cage of Death and he's sorry that Gulak stuck his nose in where it didn't belong because it was supposed to be him, Havoc and the fans.  He said that last January, Gulak mocked his hero (Nick Gage, who wasn't mentioned by name) and his hero wasn't here to defend himself but Matt Tremont is.  He challenged Gulak, saying he is calling him out for January.  A HELL of a promo.

DJ Hyde vs. Greg Excellent - No Holds Barred, If Hyde wins, Excellent leaves the company.  If Excellent wins, he gets three wishes.

They brawled to the floor immediately.   Excellent brought him around ringside, where he held the fans with chops.  Hyde made a comeback but a woman hit the ring and attacks Hyde with a leaping DDT.   Excellent covered her and she broke it up, saying if he won, he wanted one of the wishes.  Hyde attacked him and then speared her.  Mia Yim hit the ring and attacked Excellent.  He laid her out with a suplex.

Hyde worked over Excellent and he hulked up.  They played Real American on the speakers and he did the entire routine, including a big boot and legdrop.  Hyde kicked up, Mia Yim handed DJ a chair.  Greg Excellent's mother, who he laid out a year ago in an angle at COD12, came out and wanted to nail him with the chair.  She revealed a Hyde shirt, so he let her.  She instead nailed Hyde and hit him with a stone cold stunner.

Hyde kicked out and worked over Excellent.  "Youth Gone Wild" played and the place popped like they all came at once.  Zandig hopped the rail and hit a discus clothesline on Hyde.  Excellent covered DJ and won.

Your winner, Greg Excellent!

Zandig went to the back as Excellent celebrated with his mom.

THE CAGE OF DEATH

CZW champion Devon Moore vs. CZW Ultraviolent Underground champion Masada vs. Robert Anthony vs. Scotty Vortekz - First Man to Retrieve the CZW title wins.

As you can see from the photos, no ropes barbed wire.  Spider web barbed wire wall on one side.  Glass partitions on two sides and you have to climb one of four ladders to make it to the belt.

Masada and Scotty brawled as Moore was ripped into the barbed wire by Anthony.   Scotty was backdropped into the spider web barbed wire and must have been cut bad as they were immediately trying to stop it.  He still nailed Moore with a spin kick.  Moore was busted open as well.

Masada was tossed over the barbed wire onto one of the cage partitions and caught his hair in the barbed wire on the way down.    Drew tried to climb the ladder but was pulled down by Scotty.  They tried to throw each other into one of the glass walls but in the end Scotty used head scissors to send Moore crashing through the glass, which showered the first row.

Masada, who had glass on his tape, began raking Anthony's head with it.  Anthony was bleeding by the ear.  Anthony was whipped into the barbed wire.  Masada forced him into the wire.  Scotty recovered and nailed Masada into the wire with an enziguiri.  Moore and Scotty speared Masada and Anthony into the wire.  Masada's calf was pierced by the wire.

Scotty and Anthony brawled on their knees.  Masada grabbed Moore and dug his face into the barbed wire.  Masada and Anthony powerbombed their opponents through another glass partition at the same time, with the glass exploding in all directions.  The crowd clapped and rallied both of them.  They brawled back and forth.  Masada had the better of it but Anthony battled back.  Masada cut him off with a clothesline.

Masada pulled put skewers and stuck them in Anthony's head.  They were all sticking out.  Masada then dropkicked him in the head.   Masada set up several chairs and attempted to suplex Anthony but he reversed it into a vertebreaker onto the chairs.  Anthony and Scotty began to recover as Anthony hit a running death valley driver into the spider web barbed wire.

Moore tried to climb the ladder but was sent off of it to a piece of cage set at a 45 degree angle.  Masada and Scotty brawled on a platform and Masada was sent off into the piece of cage.  Scotty then hit a senton off of it onto the partition.  This is nuts.

Moore and Anthony brawled on the top platform and Moore speared him off into the ring.  Scotty recovered and set up a table in the center of the ring.   He chopped Anthony, who battled back with uppercuts. Anthony picked him up for a powerbomb and did a running sit-down bomb into a side of the cage that featured a glass center, shattering through and crashing through a table that was set up underneath.  Scotty's back was shredded.

Masada returned to the ring and spiked Moore with a skewer, then piledrove him beautifully through the middle of a table.  The crowd chanted, "This is awesome."   Masada then picked up Moore and powerbombed him through a piece of the table.  He started to scale the contraption as fans chanted for him.

Masada started climbing the cage as Moore recovered and climbed another ladder.  Moore reached for the belt, which fell into the ring.  Moore took a bump into the ring and crawled to get the belt, retaining it.

Your winner and still CZW champion, Devon Moore!

Pretty much the entire company came out and applauded them.  There were chants for Masada and Scotty.  Hyde entered the ring and told everyone to turn the cameras off and said the iPPV was over.  Hyde said that he knows he hates all the people and he's a bad guy but damn it was a great Cage of Death.  He announced a double header with EVOLVE in January.

Hyde turned to Moore and told him he's been the MVP of Cage of Death for the last three years.  He said Scotty got his hand nearly cut off and came back out and still killed in the match.   He said Robert Anthony stepped up and went from a pretty boy to do a death match.  He said Masada was one of the best wrestlers in the world and he said everyone here and this crew is a family busting their ass for what they love.  He asked everyone to give it up for the wrestlers, the Japanese stars and even John Zandig for what they did tonight.  The crowd chanted "CZW."

Hyde said that it was something special tonight and everyone witnessed a show they won't see until next year.  He said in the future, CZW will be doing so much more and said he hopes to see everyone back here because the crew wants nothing more than to see everyone here while they bust their asses.

That was pretty damn insane.

Jerry and Michael talk about what happened to Ryback at the end of Raw and CM Punk’s music starts to play and he comes to the ring with his official belt wrangler, Paul Heyman.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Paul Heyman introduces himself and he says that he wants to break tradition. He says that he was leaving home to fly to Greensboro, North Carolina and he noticed that his children were reading the updated WWE Encyclopedia. Paul says that he is not shilling for your Christmas and Hanukkah lists because he does not like this book. There is not enough about your reigning and defending WWE Champion CM Punk. However, to give credit where credit is due, there is something inside the Encyclopedia that they did not even notice.

Today is day 379 of CM Punk’s current title reign. At midnight, he will tie and tomorrow at midnight, he will surpass John Cena as the longest reigning continuous WWE champion of the modern era.

Paul says that to his massive and sole credit, he is the longest reigning champion of the last 25 years. That is a quarter century. Now you will have to agree with him that CM Punk is not only your champion, not only the best in the world, but now there is no argument that CM Punk should be front and center on WWE’s version of Mount Rushmore.

Punk says that he still stands in front of everyone unfairly persecuted. He has proven for more than a year that he is the best in the world. If there was a Mount Rushmore of WWE, the face that would go over the Hulk Hogans, John Cenas, Steve Austins, and Undertakers would be his.

He says that the fans do not give him the respect that he deserves. He defeated Ryback at Hell in a Cell. He defeated John Cena and Ryback at Survivor Series. Why does he have to defend his title at TLC against Ryback in a Table, Ladders, and Chairs Match? It is because of the people who turned their backs on him and ignore his accomplishments. Punk says that is the people who cannot hold a job as long as he has been champion or the people who cannot stay married as long as he is champion.

First it was Paul Heyman, the middle aged father of two who was the reason Punk is champion. Then it was Rogue Referee Brad Maddox. Then it was The Shield.

Punk says that if it wasn’t for the Shield, he wouldn’t be champion. That is a lie. Punk says that the truth is that if it wasn’t for him, no one would be here today. He is the reason why people bought their tickets to see Raw. Punk says that he is the reason why people watch Raw and if it wasn’t for him there would be nothing to watch on these dismal three hour Raws.

Punk says that he had nothing to do with Brad Maddox or the Shield, but he is responsible for being the hottest thing going in the WWE today. Punk tells people to change their channels at home. Punk tells everyone to get out of his arena right now.

Miz’ music plays and he comes out to the stage. Miz with a few reallys. Miz tells everyone to sit down and enjoy themselves. When you talk about the Best in the World, Brad Maddox, or the Shield, no one believes Punk.

Miz says that Punk talks about these lies and we know the truth.

Punk wants to know who the Miz is to come out and pass judgment on him.

Miz says that he is the guy who cheated and scammed when he was the champion. At least he has the guts to admit it. Everyone knows that Brad Maddox was in Punk’s back pocket at Hell in a Cell. Everyone knows that The Shield bailed him out at Survivor Series. If it wasn’t for the Shield last week, Ryback would have fed himself some Punk.

Punk tells Mike to make his way to the ring in his Gucci shoes and get put to sleep.

Miz says that he does not have to fight or wrestle. Miz challenges Punk to come on the most must see talk show in the WWE, MizTV to prove that he is not affiliated with the Shield by taking a lie detector test. Miz says that the Sherriff’s Department was more than happy to provide him with the equipment.

Paul wants to make sure that he understands what Miz is saying. Paul reminds Miz how Punk feels about him behind the scenes.

Miz tells the human walrus that is exactly what he is suggesting.

Punk says that he will not let the people of Greensboro call his good friend a walrus.

Miz says that they are sorry that Paul is a really big walrus. He wants Punk live on TV with a live mic. He wants to hear the Pipe Bomb. Miz says that he wants to let Punk prove his legacy and clear his record by showing that he is the best in the world. Maybe Punk is afraid of the truth and maybe he wants to have an asterisk next to everything, including his 379 day title reign.

Punk tells Miz that if he wants the truth, he will give Miz what he wants. Punk says that he will prove that he is the best in the world. Then everyone will have to admit it.
