Tonight’s show starts with the ‘Doritos Jacked’ SummerSlam Kickoff Show featuring Shawn Michaels, Booker T, Vickie Guerrero, and Josh Mathews.

Josh welcomes everyone.

Josh asks Shawn what he is looking forward to the most and Shawn says that it is the concept of SummerSlam in L.A. He is looking forward to the WWE Title Match.

Booker T says that he is looking forward to Bray Wyatt versus Kane. Booker mentions that Kane made his debut in 1997 at Bad Blood.

Vickie says that she is looking forward to the World Title Match.

We take a look at the CM Punk video package that aired on Smackdown this week.

Paul Heyman is in the locker room and Josh says that this match is being compared as David versus Goliath and Paul tells him to stop and he calls the comparison preposterous. David versus Goliath is a story we tell our children that there is hope left in the world. That is not the case.

Historians say that David hit Goliath with a slingshot, but the truth is that David got in one shot but Goliath dominated David and laid him to waste. That is what will happen tonight.

Paul says that he comes up with an idea that even CM Punk will agree to. The match will be No Disqualification. CM Punk will end up a martyr tonight and he will be pushed into martyrdom by the beast incarnate, BROCK LESNAR

Josh asks how this will change the match and Booker says that it will work in Brock’s favor. Punk will not lay down. Shawn says that he was concerned about this match and he says that the no disqualification serves Punk well. He says that he did not think that Punk would have a chance against Lesnar, but this might help. Vickie says that she is afraid for Punk. Shawn says that being the smaller man helps to have a no disqualification stipulation.

We go to Tony Dawson who was outside the Staples Center earlier today. He is with two fans who came to SummerSlam with Northern Ireland.

We see people entering the seating area.

It is time to take a look at Total Divas.

Josh mentions that Total Divas will have a presence on the pay per view with Natalya versus Brie Bella.

Vickie says that she thinks Natalya will win. She wonders how Shawn or Booker know anything about Divas. Vickie says that she is proud of the product. Booker says that Brie better watch out because Natalya is a grappler and she can take down some men. Shawn says that people used to call him a diva and he says that he was a foxy dude.

We take a look at the mixed tag match and how we go to tonight.

We see Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston at Venice Beach working out. Langston talks about how his agility separates himself from others his size. AJ says that she uses the Black Widow because she doesn’t have the strength of others. She says that she has always been the champion, but now she has proof.

Renee Young is in the Social Media Lounge. She runs through some of the predictions that were submitted.

We take a look at how the WWE Title Match was set up and the build to tonight.

Josh asks Shawn if Daniel Bryan can win and Shawn says that he does think so. He likes John Cena, but he is a bit biased towards Daniel Bryan. He has known him since he was 18 and he is very talented.

Vickie says that Daniel Bryan is a fresh face.

Booker says that John Cena has been on the mountaintop a long time. Cena has made a lot of money. Is John Cena still hungry and will he step up to face Daniel Bryan.

Shawn says that John has earned everything he has gotten.

Booker and Shawn talk about getting worn down on top. Shawn and Booker say that the timing might be right for Bryan.

Booker says that if Cena chose Bryan, maybe Cena thinks that he can beat Bryan.

Vickie wonders about the motives of Triple H.

We are back with Tony Dawson outside with fans from Calgary and he asks them about what match they are looking forward to and one says that they are looking forward to the Punk versus Lesnar match.
