TNA presents its Lockdown PPV tonight from San Antonio, TX. It will be the most attended show that the company has ever done in the US. We will have full coverage of the show on the site this evening, as it happens.
And interesting story has developed as Bobby Roode was not at yesterday's fanfest and word began circulating that there was an issue between him and management. Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net reported last night that Roode's contract with the company has expired, which is why he wasn't at TV or the fanfest. There are stories going around the company that there could be an issue with his work visa, since he is Canadian and also that TNA simply waited until the last minute to start talking about a deal with Roode. More should come out on the story as the day goes on. We can note that as a few minutes ago, he was not at the building for tonight's PPV. It will be interesting to see what happens here because if TNA advertised Roode for the PPV knowing that he didn't have a valid contract, that is just wrong on every level and they should be held accountable for it.
Kharma/Awesome Kong noted on her Twitter that she turned down an offer to appear on TNA's Knockouts PPV.
