1963 - WWWF World Champion Bruno Sammartino defeated The Crusher with a backbreaker in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Boxing great "Jersey" Joe Walcott was the special referee.
1977 - During a WWWF televising taping in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, World Champion Superstar Billy Graham attacked High Chief Peter Miavia before a scheduled match with Baron Mikel Scicluna. Graham broke Miavia's ukulele and left him a bloody mess.
1978 - Abdullah The Butcher defeats Billy Robinson in Utsunomiya, Japan to win the Pacific Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Title, which is now part of the All Japan Triple Crown.
1982 - El Hijo Del Santo, the son of the legendary El Santo, makes his debut wearing the famous silver mask. He actually started wrestling in February 1982 as El Korak, but his father would not allow him to take on the family name and mask until he completed his college degree.
1984 - WWF runs at the Capital Center in Landover, Maryland, with the unique main event of Andre The Giant & Junkyard Dog defeating Kamala & Big John Studd.
1993 - During a dark match at a Monday Night Raw taping at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York, Sabu defeats Scott Taylor, later known as Scotty 2 Hotty.
1994 - The Phantoms defeat PG-13 for the USWA Tag Team Title in Louisville, Kentucky, ending PG-13's third title reign.
1997 - The FBI (Little Guido, now Nunzio, & Tracy Smothers) defeat John Kronus & New Jack for the ECW World Tag Team Title in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Other results of the show saw The Great Sasuke defeat Al Snow, Balls Mahoney & Axl Rotten defeated The Dudleys, and Sabu defeated Shane Douglas and Tommy Dreamer in a Three Way Dance.

2004 - WWE broadcasts Raw from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois, headlined by Edge vs. Chris Benoit vs. Shawn Michaels in a match between the three contenders that would be involved in the fan vote to determine a challenger to Triple H's World Title at the Taboo Tuesday PPV the next night. Edge won the match by pinning Benoit, but the real story of the bout was Shawn Michaels suffering a torn miniscus. Michaels would end up winning the fan vote and would wrestle Triple H, despite the injury.
2005 - WWE tapes Smackdown at the Lawlor Events Center in Reno, Nevada, featuring Booker T defeating Chris Benoit to win the U.S. Title with a scissors kick after Sharmell interfered and gave Benoit a low blow.
2009 - TNA held their Bound For Glory PPV.

California.
Jeremy Borash at ringside with Joey Fatone and they welcome us to the pay per view. Joey says that he is here to have a good time and he is looking forward to seeing ODB, The Beautiful People, and A.J. Styles.
Jeremy talks about the Sumbission Match between Samoa Joe and Bobby Lashley. He also mentions the Monster’s Ball Match between Abyss and Mick Foley. Next, he mentions the match between Matt Morgan and Kurt Angle. He next mentions the TNA World Heavyweight Title Match between A.J. Styles and Sting.
We go to a video package for the Monster’s Ball Match.
The Ultimate X Structure is up in the ring and we are going to the pre-show match.
It is announced that the winning team in the pre-show match will be in the Ultimate X Match.
We are also told that D’Angelo Dinero will not be participating in the Ultimate X Match due to a family emergency.
Pre Show Match: Motor City Machine Guns versus Lethal Consqeuences
Shelley and Creed start things off and they lock up in a Greco-Roman knuckle lock. Shelley with a wrist lock and he works on the arm. Creed flips over Shelley and Shelley sends Creed to the floor. Creed misses a springboard move but he does not miss a jumping spin kick for a near fall. Lethal tags in and so does Sabin. Lethal with a wrist lock and Sabin reverses. Lethal with an arm drag and drop kick. Lethal with a jab but Shelley tags in and then they double team Lethal and get a near fall. Shelley with a knee to the head and a reverse chin lock. Lethal with elbows and a chop but Shelley with an elbow. Lethal with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker and then Creed with a side Russian leg sweep. Creed with a forearm that knocks Sabin off the apron. Creed with a hesitation drop kick while Lethal holds Shelley and Creed gets a near fall.
Shelley with a chop and Creed responds with chops of his own. Creed with a knee and slam to Shelley followed by a leaping elbow drop for a near fall. Creed with an arm bar. Lethal tags in and hits a double sledge from the turnbuckles. Lethal with a flying clothesline and a cover but Sabin breaks up the cover. Creed tags back in and Shelley kicks Creed. Lethal accidentally clotheslines Creed. Shelley with an enzuigiri to Lethal and Sabin is the only one standing and he is on the apron.
Sabin tags in and he hits elbows on Creed and Lethal and then Sabin rolls
through a sunset flip and knees Lethal. Sabin with a back kick to Creed. Sabin
with an Irish whip and a forearm into the corner. Sabin with a springboard
clothesline for a near fall when Lethal breaks up the cover. Lethal misses the
springboard back elbow and Shelley with a cross body to Lethal and then he sets
for Sliced Bread #2 but Lethal pushes him off. Sabin with a springboard tornado
DDT. The Machine Guns with a double team kick to Creed. Shelley with a cross
body while Sabin hits a neck breaker for the three count.

Dixie Carter joins Jeremy and Joey and she tells everyone to tune in for a great pay per view. Dixie mentions that people have come to the pay per view from all over the world and she mentions the Interaction that took place yesterday.
We see the video package for the A.J. Styles/Sting match for the TNA World Heavyweight Title.
Lauren is with Team 3D to ask about Full Metal Mayhem. Ray is excited for the match. He mentions that it is for the two most prestigious tag titles in the world. Ray says that he cannot wait to be 24 time world champions. Ray talks about the other matches on the pay per view. He says that he is looking forward to the submission match, the TNA World Title match, and the Angle/Morgan match. Ray says that he is also looking forward to Zakk Wylde performing. Ray utters Tables, Ladders, and Chairs and Devon says ‘oh my’. Then he lets out a Testify.
We are back at ringside and Jeremy Borash. Joey is on the turnbuckles looking at the Ultimate X structure. Jeremy says that the Ultimate X match will start off the pay per view.
Jeremy runs through the card one final time before the pay per view.
Jeremy asks Joey for his prediction in the main event.

Match Number One: TNA X Division Title Match: Amazing Red versus Suicide versus Homicide versus Daniels versus Alex Shelley versus Chris Sabin in an Ultimate X Match
Daniels, Suicide, and Shelley go for the towers but they are stopped. Suicide sends Shelley into the turnbuckles and then he hits an elbow and a side Russian leg sweep. Daniels works on Red while Homicide hits an overhead belly-to-belly throw on Sabin. Daniels blocks a hip toss but Red with an arm drag and tilt-a-whirl head scissors and Daniels goes to the floor. Homicide with the tope con hilo onto Daniels. Red and Suicide are the only ones in the ring and Suicide with a fireman’s carry slam on Red. Suicide with a pescado onto Homicide and then Shelley goes to the apron and Sabin with a suicide dive through the ropes onto Suicide. Red with an enzuigiri that sends Shelley to the floor. Daniels with a leg lariat to Red. Daniels climbs the tower since everyone else is on the floor or on the mat. Red crotches Daniels. Red with a rana that sends Daniels onto everyone on the floor.
Red climbs the turnbuckles and the Machine Guns stop him. Sabin with a giant swing and Shelley with a drop kick to Red. Daniels sends Sabin into Shelley and he hits a bulldog and clothesline on the Guns. Homicide has climbed the tower and he is up to the cables. Suicide tries to stop him and he leaps to the cables but Homicide with a jawbreaker as they both hit the mat. Sabin and Shelley with double team kicks to Homicide. Sabin holds Daniels and Homicide and Shelley with a double stomp onto Daniels’ back. They hit a double super kick on Homicide. Sabin misses a splash into the corner on Daniels. Daniels with a palm thrust to Sabin but Shelley hits Daniels to stop his momentum on the tower. Sabin with a missile drop kick while Daniels was on Shelley’s shoulders.
Red is on the turnbuckles and Sabin and Shelley stop him. Shelley and Sabin set for the Sliced Bread #2 and power bomb combination but Red with a rana to Sabin and then Red sends Sabin into Shelley. Red with a satellite inverted DDT. Suicide with a springboard drop kick. Daniels punches Red while Suicide and Homicide battle. Homicide with a pump handle suplex on Suicide. Homicide with a neck breaker to Red. Homicide climbs the tower and returns to the cable. Daniels tries to stop Homicide and he gets Homicide and hits a Death Valley Driver. Daniels runs into a boot from Red and Red with a head scissors DDT. Red climbs to the towers and is on the cable. Red kicks Suicide and then Red reconsiders. Daniels tries to pull Red down. Red is almost at the belt but Suicide with a missile drop kick and Red goes down. Daniels with a Blue Thunder Driver on Suicide. Sabin and Daniels are to the cables and Daniels and Sabin kick each other while by the belt.
They both go down but land on their feet. Sabin with an enzuigiri to Daniels followed by a springboard DDT. Suicide with the Suicide Solution to Sabin. Shelley with an Asai DDT. Homicide with a gourdbuster and clothesline to Shelley. Homicide tries for the Gringo Killer but Daniels lands on his feet. Daniels with a DDT to Homicide. Red with a DDT of his own.
Suicide and Red are on the tower and they battle. Red sets for a sunset flip power bomb and he hits it on Suicide while Sabin hits a German suplex from the turnbuckles and they go into Daniels. Shelley and Homicide battle on the turnbuckle and Shelley knocks him off. Homicide catches Shelley and hits a head and arm suplex. Red with a spin kick to Homicide. Red goes up top and he hits a Phoenix Splash and standing shooting star press. Sabin with a boot to Suicide. Suicide and Sabin are on the turnbuckles and Suicide hits the Flux Capacitor. Daniels with the BME to Sabin. Daniels climbs the turnbuckles and so does Suicide. They are going to the top of the structure and Red joins them too. Daniels slams Red’s head on the top of the structure. Daniels and Suicide are on top and they exchange punches. Daniels sets for a superplex but Suicide blocks it. Suicide and Daniels exchange more punches while they each try to stay on top. Daniels is standing on the cable and he sits on the junction.
Suicide and Daniels fight on top of the belt. Daniels and Suicide fall to the mat and both men are down. Sabin and Shelley are on the cable while Red goes through the top of the structure. Red knocks Sabin down. Red has the belt to win the match.

Taz and Mike talk about the ‘big event feel’ of the pay per view.
Lauren is with the Beautiful People in the back. Lauren reminds them that they lost last month but they have their rematch tonight. Velvet starts to talk and Madison stops her and tells her that it isn’t JB. Velvet says that the tag division was due to their work. The belts were created for them, but they are on the waists of Taylor Wilde and Sarita. Tonight they are going to take what is rightfully theirs. Madison says that they were dealing with all of the drama about how she was out and back in. Then she mentions Angelina being out. Madison blames all of that on their loss. Tonight, they will accessorize by adding a few belts. Lacey says that even though they lost their love, they will show that a little bit of lace can make everything okay.
Jeremy Borash is with Taylor Wilde and Sarita. He asks them about The Beautiful People’s comments about not being prepared. Taylor says that they are ready for anyone. They will continue to make history. Sarita says that there is nothing more beautiful than gold. Sarita speaks in Spanish and Jeremy asks Taylor what she said.
Match Number Two: TNA Knockouts Tag Title Match: Sarita and Taylor Wilde versus The Beautiful People
Lacey tries to get close to the referee before the match starts and she kisses him. She convinces the referee to get a chair for her. Earl Hebner comes out and he forces Lacey to the back despite a kiss.
Wilde with a rollup for a two count on Velvet as the bell rings. Wilde with an arm drag or two into an arm bar. Sarita tags in and she hits a drop toe hold and Wilde with a drop kick. They hit a double drop kick on Madison. Sarita with forearms to Velvet. Sarita hits Madison on the apron and Velvet with a clothesline to Sarita. Madison tags in and she punches Sarita. Madison with a kick and drop kick for a near fall. Velvet tags in and Sarita with chops. Velvet and Madison drop Sarita to the mat and then they pose and then Velvet remembers that a match is going on and she gets a near fall. Velvet with an Irish whip and Sarita pushes Velvet off. Sarita takes Velvet to the mat. Madison and Taylor tag and Taylor with clotheslines and a drop kick. Velvet turns into a missile drop kick from Sarita. Taylor with a German suplex after a springboard drop kick from Sarita for the three count.

It is now time to take a look at the Legends Title match.
Lauren is with Eric Young and Kevin Nash. She asks them if there is any alliance between the two of them. Eric says that he has negotiated the deal of a lifetime. He mentions the Hernandez Summit. Eric talks about how he thought Hernandez was a brother and offered him a spot in the greatest group in wrestling. Eric says that both of them consider Hernandez to be a black mark on their industry. Lauren asks Eric if the $60,000 has anything to do with it. Nash says that it is a win win situation. He walks out the Legends Champion and $60,000 richer. Eric walks out unscathed.
Match Number Three: Legends Title Match: Kevin Nash versus Eric Young versus Hernandez
Hernandez brings Young into the ring by his shirt and the match starts. Hernandez with clotheslines to Young and then he hits a shoulder block that sends Young over the top rope to the floor. Hernandez attacks Young on the floor and Nash goes after Hernandez. Nash with knees and then he sends Hernandez into the apron. Young with a punch and then Nash sends Hernandez into the ring post. Hernandez Irish whips Nash into the ring post.
Young and Hernandez are in the ring and Hernandez with chops. Hernandez with a shoulder and then he hits a backbreaker on Young but Nash breaks up the cover. Nash with knees in the corner on Hernandez and Young with a chop and punch. Nash with some more work on Hernandez and Young jumps in for some punches. Nash and Young choke Hernandez with their boots. Nash with a back elbow in the corner. Hernandez with a kick to Nash and then he tries for a suplex on Young but Nash hits Hernandez in the back and Young with a suplex of his own. Nash chokes Hernandez in the corner. Young does the same.
Hernandez with forearms to Nash and Young but Nash and Young with a double back elbow. Young with a cover and Nash breaks it up after Hernandez kicks out. Young tries to apologize to Nash. Young kicks Hernandez in the corner and Nash punches Hernandez. Nash sends Young into the corner for a clothesline on Hernandez and then Young does the same. Hernandez fights off Young and Nash after getting on top and he hits a missile drop kick on Nash. Hernandez goes to the apron and Hernandez punches Young and hits the slingshot shoulder on Nash. Hernandez with clotheslines to Young and Nash. Hernandez with a back body drop to Young but Nash hits Hernandez from behind and all three men are down.
Hernandez with a double clothesline on Nash and Young. All three men are down again. Hernandez is up first and he catches Young coming off the ropes. Hernandez with a sit out power bomb and Nash breaks up the cover. Hernandez with a plancha onto Young. Hernandez rolls Young back into the ring and Nash with a big boot to Hernandez as he enters the ring. Young rolls Hernandez back in. Young goes up top for an elbow drop and then he pulls down Nash’s straps. Nash sets for the Jackknife power bomb but Hernandez is sent into Nash’s lower groin by Young and Young with the three count.
Winner: Eric Young
All of the participants in the tag title match except for Team 3D and Brutus Magnus says that the important thing is to take out Team 3D. Doug points out that Team 3D has the advantage in any match with tables, ladders, and chairs. He says that Team 3D invented Full Metal Mayhem, and that they did this in Houston in front of 70, 000 people.Match Number Four: TNA Tag and IWGP Tag Title Match: British Invasion versus Booker T and Scott Steiner versus Team 3D versus Beer Money in a Full Metal Mayhem Match
One of each of the tag title belts are hanging above the ring for the team to claim those titles.
Booker kicks Ray and then the British Invasion goes after Devon. Storm and Roode go after everyone. Magnus, Williams, and Storm punch Devon while Booker with a back heel kick to Ray. Storm punches Devon as well as Williams and Steiner. Devon is sent to the floor and Steiner sends him into the rails. Magnus sends Devon into a ladder held by Steiner. Steiner hits Devon with one of the title belts that is not above the ring. Booker with knees to Ray but Ray with a kick to Booker. Magnus and Williams set up the ladders and decide to pose with the handshake that allows Roode and Storm to stop them. Roode with a neckbreaker to Williams. Steiner drops Devon on the guardrails as they fight by the stage.
Storm and Roode work on Williams in the ring and they send him into a chair. Roode catapults Williams into a Storm DDT. Booker with a leg lariat to Roode and a spinebuster to Storm. Booker sets up a ladder but Roode hits him from behind. Booker with a scissors kick to Roode and it is time for a spinaroonie because there isn’t anything else going on. Storm with a super kick and then Beer Money with a DWI. Steiner with clotheslines and an overhead belly-to-belly to Roode and Storm. Then he hits one on Williams and finishes off with Magnus. Steiner puts Williams on the turnbuckles and it is Frankensteiner time. Steiner puts Magnus on the turnbuckles and he hits a T-Bone Superplex on Magnus. Booker is calling for a referee and Sharmell comes out. Steiner puts Roode on the turnbuckles and Steiner with an overhead belly-to-belly superplex. Steiner sets up the ladder while Booker cries over his injury. Steiner is on top of the ladder but Williams knocks him off. Williams and Magnus with a cross arm clothesline and then they pose again. The British Invasion with the Wassup Headbutt on Steiner and then then call for the tables.
Booker is being put on a stretcher.
A table is set up in the ring and on the floor. Devon hits Magnus with a chair and then they hit Williams with one. They hit Storm and Roode as well. They give Magnus a double flapjack and then Williams gets the neckbreaker and belly-to-back suplex combination. Bubbabomb to Roode while Devon with an inverted slam to Storm. Zakk Wylde throws a beer in Magnus’ face and then Wylde hits him with a chair. Devon takes Storm and Roode down and then he hits a choke slam through the table on Williams. It is time for Team 3D to hit the Wassup head butt on Williams. Now it is time for Ray to ask for the tables.
Three tables are put in the ring. Roode has a chair and Devon stops him from using it. Team 3D with stereo choke slams to Beer Money through tables. Steiner with chair shots to Team 3D. Steiner brings the ladder back into the ring and he hits Ray and Devon with it. Steiner sets up the ladder again. Steiner takes some time to kick the table away. Team 3D stop Steiner and they hit a double choke slam through the table. Team 3D sets up the ladder and Devon grabs the IWGP title. Rhino hits Ray with the chair and he is knocked off. Rhino hits Devon but Devon gets the IWGP Tag Title belt.
Rhino hits Ray and Devon some more with the chair and he leaves. Magnus hits Devon with the chair. Magnus holds Devon up for Williams to hit the corkscrew back elbow from the turnbuckles. Magnus and Williams have ladders set up and Roode and Storm stop them. Roode with a belly-to-back suplex on Williams. Roode and Storm climb the ladders as well. Roode and Storm with a double suplex from the top of the ladder on Magnus. With nobody to stop them, they do their Beer Money dance.
Magnus hits Roode with a chair shot. Magnus is on the ladder and Storm returns to the ring and he punches Magnus. Storm takes a drink and spits the beer in Magnus’ face. Storm with a sunset flip power bomb. Williams hits Storm with a chair. Williams climbs the ladder and he is stopped by Roode. Roode with punches and he drops Williams head on the top of the ladder. Rob with a press slam of Roode through the table on the floor. Rob helps Williams to get the TNA Tag Title belt.
Winners: Team 3D (IWGP) and British Invasion (TNA)
We see Bobby Lashley and Samoa Joe getting ready for their match, but the Knockouts Title is next.
Match Number Five: TNA Knockouts Title Match: ODB versus Tara versus Awesome Kong
Kong attacks Tara before the bell and then she goes after ODB. Tara punches Kong and kicks her. Tara tries for a clothesline but Kong stays up. Tara with punches and ODB with chops. Kong with a double clothesline to Tara and ODB. Kong sends ODB into Tara in the corner and then Kong with a splash. Kong with a slam to ODB and then to Tara. Kong goes to the turnbuckles but Tara and ODB part like the Red Sea and then Tara and ODB with kip ups and a double shoulder tackle. Tara and ODB with a double suplex to Kong and Tara tries to cover Kong but ODB pulls her off. Tara returns the favor.
Tara and ODB exchange punches while Kong is on the apron. ODB catches Tara on a cross body attempt and ODB with a fallaway slam and kip up. ODB with a chop in the corner followed by an Irish whip but Tara moves out of the way and then Tara puts ODB in a tarantula. Kong with a splash to both women and then Kong brings Tara back into the ring. Kong charges into a boot and ODB with a rollup for a near fall. Tara with a moonsault onto both women and gets a near fall on ODB. Kong picks Tara up by her throat and then she sends Tara to the floor. Kong chokes ODB in the corner.
Tara goes after someone in the crowd but security stops her. Tara leaves while the action stops in the ring.
Kong gets ODB up but ODB escapes the hold. Kong with an Irish whip but she misses a splash and ODB with a splash in the corner. ODB tries to get Kong up and she does and hits a Samoan Drop for a two count. ODB goes to the turnbuckles but Kong catches her and Kong runs ODB into the turnbuckles. Kong with a clothesline and then Tara returns to the ring and stops Kong.
Kong goes to the turnbuckles and hits a splash but Tara breaks up the cover. Kong with a choke slam and then she kicks Tara to the floor. Kong with the Implant Buster but ODB kicks out.
Raisha Saeed comes to the ring and she gives a chair to Kong but Kong kicks it back. Saeed gives it back and Kong kicks it again. Kong sets up for the Implant Buster but the chair is pushed into the ring and ODB with an X Factor for the three count.

Lauren is with Matt Morgan and Matt says that there are things that are personal and some that are business. Matt says that this is both. Matt says that Kurt felt that it was a smart business decision to have Matt in his corner. Matt says that he is not a fie fi fo fum freak. Matt says that he is college educated and he is not trying to brag . . . maybe a little bit. Matt says that Kurt tried to run away from him, but it didn’t work. Even some of the Mafia members were afraid to get in the ring with him. For the first time in Angle’s life, he is an underdog. Matt says that he is the future.
Match Number Six: Submission Match: Samoa Joe versus Bobby Lashley
Joe with a kick to the shoulder and Lashley tries for a takedown but Joe stays on his feet. They lock up and Joe puts Lashley in the corner. Joe with a few slaps to Lashley and Lashley with a spinebuster into a cross arm breaker and Joe escapes and he punches Lashley. Joe with a leg bar and Lashley escapes. Lashley with a take down and he mounts Joe. Lashley sends Joe into the turnbuckles and he punches Joe. Joe goes to the floor to slow things down.
Joe returns to the ring and Joe kicks Lashley in the leg. Joe kicks the refere in the leg and then Joe sends Lashley to the floor after going for the ribs. Joe with the suicide dive onto Lashley. Joe runs Lashley into the ring apron as he continues to work on the ribs. Joe chops Lashley as they stay on the floor.
They return to the ring and Lashley with punches but Joe with a rake of the eyes. Joe with a punch to the ribs and a kick after he stops short of a leap frog. Joe with a version of an abdominal stretch. Lashley with a hip toss. Joe with a power slam and then Joe with a cross arm breaker but Lashley punches to escape the hold. Lashley with punches but Joe runs Lashley into the turnbuckle and chops Lashley. Joe with jabs in the corner but Lashley with a full nelson slam and both men are down.
They get back to their feet and Lashley with clotheslines and a kick. Lashley with a forearm to the back and a t-bone suplex. Joe with an uranage to Lashley in the corner. Joe with a uranage but Lashley with a leg sweep and he has Joe choked out.

Jeremy Borash is with Mick Foley in the back as he asks him about the Monster’s Ball match. Jeremy talks about how Mick has changed since the attack. Mick asks if laughs and good times are what his reputation was built on. There will be laughs, but it won’t happen tonight. You don’t put on the flannel shirt and hold a barbed wire bat and call yourself Mick Foley. Mick says that he did this for himself, not for Abyss. Jeremy asks Mick if he is afraid that Abyss will overshadow his career. Mick says that bodies, like records are meant to be broken. Mick says that Abyss will have to earn it the hard way.Match Number Seven: Monster’s Ball Match: Abyss versus Mick Foley with Guest Referee Dr. Stevie
Foley attacks Abyss from behind with the barbed wire baseball bat. Foley punches Abyss and they go up the ramp to the stage. Foley punches Abyss and hits a swinging neck breaker. Foley climbs the scaffolding and Abyss climbs as well. Foley punches Abyss and Abyss falls through the stage. Foley climbs down the scaffolding and Stevie gives Foley his bat. Foley with an elbow drop using the bat onto Abyss. Stevie tries to tell Foley that Abyss is done and Foley holds the bat up for the fans to react.
Abyss climbs through the ramp and Foley runs at Abyss but Abyss with a clothesline. Abyss grabs a trash can and then he punches Abyss in the head. Abyss sends Foley into the ring. Abyss grabs the guardrail and he puts a barbed wire board on the rail and the apron. Abyss hits Foley with the trash can three times and Foley goes down. Abyss gets another barbed wire board and he puts it in the ring. Abyss sets for a choke slam but Foley stops him and Foley with a double underhook DDT onto the barbed wire board. Stevie gets on top of Abyss and slaps him. Foley puts the barbed wire bat in Abyss’ forehead. Foley has the bat and he hits Abyss in the arm with it. Foley takes another barbed wire board and he sets it up in the corner. Foley punches Abyss but Abyss Irish whips Foley into the barbed wire board. Abyss tries for the splash into the corner but Foley moves and then Stevie and Foley sandwich Abyss in the boards. Foley with an elbow drop onto the boards and he can only get a two count.
Foley punches Abyss and then Foley is handed a bag and there are thumbtacks in the bag, and now on the mat. Abyss wants to choke slam Foley on the thumbtacks and Abyss is reminded of the stipulation. Abyss hits Shock Treatment on Stevie. Foley has a taser in his hand and he waits for Abyss. Foley uses the taser on Abyss and Foley gets an apparent three count but he says Abyss might have kicked out. Foley has Mr. Sock and he wraps it in barbed wire. Abyss with a drop toe hold onto the barbed wire board, but Stevie pulls the referee out of the ring. Daffney goes up top and Abyss grabs Daffney by the throat and she gets choke slammed onto the barbed wire board. Stevie punches Abyss and then Abyss with a black hole slam on the tacks. Abyss with a choke slam onto the barbed wire board. Abyss makes the count with Stevie’s arm for the three count.
Winner: Abyss
Jeremy Borash is with Kurt Angle and Jeremy says that things are not going the Main Event Mafia’s way. He points out that Kurt seems confident. Kurt says that he never underestimates anyone. He reminds us that he had A.J. Styles beat three days ago, and the next time, he will beat A.J. First, he has to get through Matt Morgan. Kurt says that he thought Morgan could have been useful, but he realized that Matt is a disrespectful punk. He is going to teach Matt the word respect.
Match Number Eight: Kurt Angle versus Matt Morgan
Before they lock up Angle goes to the floor to get into Morgan’s head. Angle returns to the ring and he goes back to the floor again. Angle returns to the ring and they finally lock up but Morgan throws Angle to the mat. Angle goes into the ropes again. They lock up again and Morgan sends Angle over the top rope to the floor. Angle gets back into the ring and he kicks Morgan and connects with a European uppercut. Morgan with a punch to Angle and then it is time to throw some elbow pads at the referee before hitting the elbows. Morgan tosses Angle into the turnbuckles and then Morgan with a splash and he goes over the top rope to the floor. Angle rakes the eyes as Morgan returns to the ring and Angle knocks Morgan off the apron. Angle goes to the floor and he tries for a cross body but Morgan catches Angle and runs Angle into the ring post.
Morgan goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall. Morgan with an Irish whip but he misses a boot in the corner and Angle clips Morgan to get things set for the ankle lock. Angle punches Morgan. Angle with an elbow to the leg and a step over toe hold. Angle drops another elbow on the knee and then Angle with a figure four leg lock. Morgan tries to roll over to reverse the hold. Morgan is finally able to reverse the hold and Angle gets to the ropes. Angle punches Morgan in the head but Morgan with a clothesline to Angle and both men are down. Morgan with another series of clotheslines and a splash into the corner. Morgan with a side slam for a near fall.
Angle with a cross body but Morgan catches him and hits the fallaway slam and then he signals for a choke slam. Angle rolls through for a two count. Morgan hits a choke slam for a two count. Morgan sets for the Hellevator but Angle hits the Three Rivers German suplex combination. Morgan avoids the Olympic slam and he hits a bicycle kick for a two count. Morgan misses a splash into the corner and Angle with an Olympic Slam for a two count.
The straps are down and Angle puts Morgan in the ankle lock. Morgan is able to get out of the hold. Morgan with a kick and he tries for a power bomb, but Angle rolls through into the ankle lock. Morgan tries to escape the hold but Angle holds on. Morgan finally kicks Angle away. Angle misses a charge into the corner and he hits the ring post. Morgan hits the Hellevator but he can only get a two count as Angle gets his shoulder up. Morgan gets Angle up for a tombstone but he takes too long and Angle applies the ankle lock. Morgan rolls through but Angle holds on to the ankle. Morgan kicks Angle off. Morgan with a discus clothesline for a two count. Morgan goes up top again and Angle hits the run the turnbuckles belly-to-belly suplex. Angle with an Olympic Slam and then he goes up top and hits a frog splash for a two count. Angle goes up top again for a moonsault but Morgan stops Angle but Angle with a victory roll for the three count.
Winner: Kurt Angle
After the match, Angle offers his hand to Matt Morgan and Matt shakes it. Angle raises Morgan’s hand and Angle leaves the ring.
Match Number Nine: TNA World Heavyweight Title Match: A.J. Styles versus Sting
They shake hands before locking up and Styles with a side head lock and Sting with a side head lock of his own. Styles with a hip toss and a side head lock. Sting with a hip toss of his own. Sting with a side head lock. Sting tries to hip toss A.J. over the top rope but A.J. lands on the apron and he returns to the ring. Sting with a side head lock. Sting with a shoulder tackle and he tries for the Scorpion Death Lock but Styles powers out of it. Sting misses an elbow drop. Styles with a snap mare and kick to the back. Styles with a slam and a phenomenal knee drop for a near fall. Styles with an elbow to the back of the head. Sting with an Irish whip and Styles hits the turnbuckles awkwardly. Sting with a hard Irish whip as he tries to wear down A.J.’s back. Sting clotheslines Styles over the top rope to the floor.
Sting holds the ropes open for Styles to return to the ring. They lock up and Styles with an enzuigiri. Styles with a suplex for a near fall. Styles with a hard Irish whip and a kick to the back. Sting with a kick and face plant to Styles. Sting with a back body drop. Styles with punches to Sting but Sting with a punch. Styles with the phenomenal drop kick and Sting goes to the floor. Styles goes to the apron and Sting moves out of the way. Styles tries for a splash onto Sting but Sting moves and Styles goes into the guardrails. Sting tries for a Stinger splash into the guardrail and Styles moves out of the way.
The referee starts his count and Styles tells him to stop the count. Sting returns to the ring and Styles with a waist lock but Sting with an elbow. Sting with punches but Styles with punches of his own. Styles tries for the forearm into the corner but Sting moves. Sting and Styles bump heads. Styles charges into a boot from Sting. Styles sets for a tombstone but Sting reverses and hits a tombstone of his own for a two count. Styles goes to the apron and he punches Sting. Styles with a phenomenal forearm for a two count. Styles with a back breaker for a near fall. Styles with an elbow to the back of the head. Styles with an elbow and then he tries for the moonsault into the inverted DDT but Sting and Styles each counter and Sting with the Scorpion Death Drop followed by a Stinger Splash and another Scorpion Death Drop for a near fall. Sting sets for the Scorpion Death Lock and he has it locked it. Styles powers out of the hold. Styles with punches and chops to Sting. Styles and Sting with punches and Sting hulks up. Sting with a clothesline and a two count. Sting puts Styles on the turnbuckles and Styles with a head butt but Styles falls to the apron. Styles with a Pele on the apron and Styles with a springboard splash for the three count.
Winner: A.J. Styles
After the match, Sting was going to leave the ring but he returns and shakes A.J.’s hand before leaving the ring for A.J. to celebrate. A.J. asks for a mic and he tells Sting to come back into the ring. He reminds Sting that he has entertained these fans for 23 years and this is his home state. He tells Sting that the ring is his spotlight. A.J. tells Sting that this is his time now.
Sting returns to the ring and A.J. goes to the back. Sting thanks the fans and he says that he did not expect to be in the ring because this moment is not about him, it is about the world champion. Sting says that if he is going to lose, he is glad that he lost to A.J. Styles. If he can lose, he is glad to lose at home. Sting says that since he has this platform, he should cover what people have been asking him for the last few months. Sting says that he will not pull a Brett Favre and he did not plan to make an announcement. Sting says that he does not know if he will come back, but what he heard yesterday and the way the fans reacted tonight, he wants to stay forever.
