The digital cable bilingual (Spanish/English) network, Mun2 (pronounced "moon dos"), which has replayed WWE programming since 2008, has announced they will be adding WWE SmackDown to their line-up. After looking at Yahoo TV, I learned that they have added another replay of WWE Raw in addition to adding WWE SmackDown. They will also continue to air WWE NXT.
The WWE on Mun2 schedule is as follows (all times Eastern). The shows air in their original English broadcast.
WWE SmackDown debuts this Saturday at 7pm. Another replay debuts Saturday at 11pm.
In addition to the replays on Wednesdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 6pm, WWE Raw will air Sundays at 8am starting this Sunday.
WWE NXT airs Thursdays at 9pm. That means it airs against the first hour of TNA iMPACT. No additional replay has been added to the weekly schedule.
Mun2 is not available in all areas, so PWInsider readers will have to check local listings for the channel number. Here in New Hampshire, where I live, Mun2 can be found on Comcast Digital Cable channel 705.
Mun2 and Syfy, which will start airing WWE SmackDown this Friday night, are owned by NBC Universal. That explains why Mun2 is now going to air SmackDown. As you know, WWE Superstars airs on WGN America, which is not a NBC Universal property.
On a related side note, Mun2 has edited the WWE programming in the past. The replays may not be a full one or two hours. They may also censor some language.
