2007 - WWE held the seventh-annual "Vengeance" pay-per-view at the
Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The event was taglined "Night of
Champions", as all nine titles in WWE were on the line. The results:
- In a dark match, Super Crazy pinned Carlito after a moonsault.
- World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch defeated The Hardys

- WWE Tag Team Champions Deuce and Domino (with Cherry) defeated Sgt.
Slaughter and Jimmy Snuka, when Deuce pinned Snuka after rolling through a
Superfly splash, to retain the title.
- World Heavyweight Champion Edge defeated Batista by countout to retain the
title. Batista had originally won the match by disqualification, but SmackDown!
general manager Theodore Long ordered the match continue. With the loss,
Batista was not allowed another title shot as long as Edge was champion.
