1991 - TNT (Savio Vega) defeats King Kong to win the WWC Television Title in

1991 - The Billion Dollar Babies (Mike Samson and G.Q. Stratus) defeat G.Q.
and T.D. Madison (Tommy Dreamer) for the IWCCW Tag Team Title in Wolfeboro,

third.

and Rocco Rock).

- WCW World Television Champion Fit Finlay defeated Eddie Guerrero by
disqualification to retain the title.

- Val Venis defeated Papi Chulo.
- Marc Mero (wit Jacqueline) defeated Steve Blackman in a King of the Ring
Tournament qualifying match.
- The Nation (D'Lo Brown, Owen Hart and WWF Intercontinental Champion The Rock
(with Mark Henry and Kama Mustafa)) defeated D-Generation X (WWF Tag Team
Champions The New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn and Road Dogg) and WWF European
Champion Triple H (with Chyna and X-Pac)) in an elimination match. Gunn pinned
Brown, Rock pinned Road Dogg, Owen pinned Gunn, Triple H pinned Rock, and
Triple H was disqualified after Ken Shamrock attacked Owen.
- Jeff Jarrett (with Southern Justice (Mark Canterbury and Dennis Knight) and
Tennessee Lee) defeated Faarooq in a King of the Ring Tournament qualifying
match. This was the debut of the former Godwinns as Southern Justice.
- WWF Light Heavyweight Champion Taka Michinoku (with Bradshaw) defeated
Funaki (with Togo, Teioh and Yamaguchi-San) to retain the title.
- Mark Henry defeated Terry Funk in a King of the Ring Tournament qualifying
match.
- Kane (with Paul Bearer) defeated The Undertaker to earn a shot at Steve
Austin's WWF Title at King of the Ring on June 28.
1998 - NWA Georgia revives the NWA Georgia Heavyweight Title and awards it to
Billy Black. The title had been retired since it was unified with the NWA
National Heavyweight Title in Georgia Championship Wrestling in August 1981.
2001 - Lumberjack Bubba defeats Juggernaut for the ECCW Hardcore Title in
Chilliwack, British Columbia.
2001 - The Island Boyz (Ekmo and Kimo) defeat The Haas Brothers (Charlie and
Russ) to win the Memphis Championship Wrestling Southern Tag Team Title in
Marmaduke, Arkansas, before losing the title right back to the Haas'.
2002 - Chris Sabin defeats Gutter for the NWA Great Lakes Heavyweight Title in
Sterling Heights, Michigan, ending his second reign.
2002 - Jason Cross defeats David Young to win the NWA Wildside Heavyweight
Title in Cornelia, Georgia.
2002 - Kappa Tegga Kegga defeat Trailer Park Trash (Deuce Malone and Steve
Sabo) for the NWA New England Tag Team Title in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Also

2002 - John Noble and Robbie Ruffin defeat Disturbing Behavior (Jeff Daniels
and Tim Renesto) to win the NWA Mid-America Tag Team Title in Columbia,
Tennessee.
2002 - Dave Mysterio wins his third NWA Jersey Junior Heavyweight Title from
The Great Blazini in Raritan Township, New Jersey.
2003 - Kumiko Maekawa and Tomoko Watanabe defeat Etsuko Mita and Nanae
Takahashi to win their third WWWA World Tag Team Title in Sapporo, Japan.
2005 - Danny Williams defeats Kurupt to win the NWA United Kingdom Junior
Heavyweight Title in Chatham, England, ending Kurupt's second reign.
2006 - Mr. Excellent defeats Andres Diamond for the Italian Championship
Wrestling Interregional Heavyweight Title in Vigvevano, Italy, beginning his
third reign.
2007 - OVW held a Summer Sizzler Series event at the Paramarx Arena at Six
Flags Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, Kentucky. The results were:
- Atlas DaBone defeated Dirty Money.
- The Daltons (Jesse and Festus Dalton) defeated Johnny Punch and Ramon.
- ODB defeated OVW Women's Champion Katie Lea to win the title, making her the
first-ever two-time champion.
- Jake Hager and Steve Williams defeated The James Boys (Kassidy and KC
James), when Hager pinned KC.
- The Major Brothers (Brett and Brian Major) defeated OVW Southern Tag Team
Champions Ox and Hammer (Charles Evans and Justin LaRoche) (with Dr. Tomas) by
disqualification. Ox and Hammer retained the title.
- Jacob Duncan defeated Dan Rodman. Had Rodman won, he would have earned a
date with Beth Phoenix.
- Cody Runnels defeated OVW Television Champion Shawn Spears by countout.
Spears retained the title.
- Jay Bradley defeated Paul Birchill and Idol Stevens in a three-way match, by
pinning Birchill, to win the vacant OVW Heavyweight Title. The title had been
held up on May 23 after a match between Birchill, then the champion, and
Stevens ended in a double-pin.
- Chris Benoit defeated Michael W. Kruel (with Vladimir Kozlov).
2007 - SHIMMER Women Athletes taped "SHIMMER Volume 11" for DVD at
the Eagles Club in Berwyn, Illinois. The show featured the first two rounds of
the 16-woman tournament to determine the first SHIMMER Champion. The results:
First round:
- Malia Hosaka defeated Allison Danger.
- Daizee Haze defeated Portia Perez.
- Sara Del Rey defeated Cindy Rogers.
- Alicia defeated Ariel.

and that night in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, Dash Bennett was stripped of the
PWX Brass Knuckles Title. Chris LeRusso won a battle royal to be recognized as
the AWC Brass Knuckles Champion. At the same show, Blue Dragon defeats Devil
Bhudakhan for the AWC Three Rivers Title.
