1986 - Bruno Sammartino teams with Tito Santana to defeat Randy Savage & Adrian Adonis in a steel cage match at Madison Square Garden in New York City. This would be Bruno Sammartino's final match in MSG. He made his Garden debut on January 2, 1960, defeating Bull Curry (subbing for Killer Kowalski).
1989 - Riki Choshu defeated Salman Hashimikov for the IWGP Heavyweight Title in Osaka, Japan.
1992 - The WCW Great American Bash Pay-per-view was held in Albany, Georgia at the Civic Center. Here are the results:
- Dark match: Super Invader defeated Marcus Bagwell.
- NWA World Tag Team Title Tournament Quarterfinals: Nikita Koloff & Ricky Steamboat defeated Jushin Liger & Brian Pillman when Steamboat rolled through a Pillman flying bodypress to get the pin.
- NWA World Tag Team Title Tournament Quarterfinals: Dustin Rhodes & Barry Windham defeated Steve Austin & Rick Rude when Rhodes hit a top rope clothesline for the pin on Austin as he was trying to piledrive Windham.
- NWA World Tag Team Title Tournament Quarterfinals: Hiro Hase & Shinya Hashimoto defeated The Freebirds (Jimmy Garvin & Michael Hayes).
- NWA World Tag Team Title Tournament Semifinals: Terry Gordy & Steve Williams defeated Nikita Koloff & Ricky Steamboat when Gordy shoved Steamboat off the top rope into Williams, who hit the Oklahoma Stampede for the win.
- NWA World Tag Team Title Tournament Semifinals: Dustin Rhodes & Barry Windham defeated Hiro Hase & Shinya Hashimoto when Windham pinned Hase with a lariat.
- Big Van Vader defeated Sting to win the WCW World Heavyweight Title with a powerbomb.
- Terry Gordy & Steve Williams defeated Dustin Rhodes & Barry Windham to win the NWA World Tag Team Title when Williams pinned Rhodes with a clothesline.
1998 - The WCW Bash at the Beach Pay-per-view was held in San Diego, California. Here are the results: - - In a dark match, Villanos IV & V defeated Damien & Ciclope.
- Raven defeated Saturn in a no disqualification match with a DDT after Scotty Riggs ran in and distracted Saturn.
- Juventud Guerrera defeated Billy Kidman with a 450 splash.
- Stevie Ray defeated Chavo Guerrero, Jr. via submission when Chavo submitted to a pre-match handshake. This allowed Chavo to stay fresh for his next match.
- Eddie Guerrero defeated Chavo Guerrero, Jr. in a Hair vs. Hair match with a small package. Chavo took the clippers and cut his own hair.
- Konnan defeated Disco Inferno via submission with the Tequila Sunrise after Kevin Nash powerbombed him.
- The Giant defeated Kevin Greene with a chokeslam.
- Rey Mysterio, Jr. defeated Chris Jericho to win the WCW Cruiserweight Title. However, the title was returned to Jericho due to interference by Dean Malenko.
- WCW Television Champion Booker T defeated Bret Hart via DQ when Hart hit Booker with a chair.
- WCW World Champion Bill Goldberg defeated Curt Hennig with a spear and jackhammer.
- Hulk Hogan & Dennis Rodman defeated Diamond Dallas Page & Karl Malone when Hogan pinned Page after interference from the Disciple (Brutus Beefcake).
1999 - Hulk Hogan defeats Randy Savage for the WCW World Heavyweight Title in Jacksonville, Florida during an edition of Monday Nitro when Kevin Nash (who Savage won the title from the night before in a tag match) interferes and powerbombs Savage. This gave Hogan his sixth WCW World Title reign.
