1941 - A little over one year after losing the NWA World Heavyweight Title to Ray Steele in St, Louis, Bronko Nagurski wins it back from Steele in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
1986 - Kendall Windham defeats The Cuban Assassin for the Florida State Heavyweight Title in Tampa, starting Windham's second reign.
1991 - Jerry Lawler defeats Terry Funk in Memphis, Tennessee for the USWA Unified Heavyweight Title
1993 - Sting defeats Big Van Vader for the WCW World Heavyweight Title in London, England. This would mark Sting's third NWA/WCW World title reign. Vader would win it back six days later, before the WCW crew returned to the U.S.
1993 - Dino Bravo (real name Adolfo Bresciano), best known for his run in the WWF in the late 80's and early 90's after a successful career in Canada, is killed in his home in Laval, Quebec, Canada, at the age of 44. Bravo was gunned down gangland-style in his living room, and his death was believed to have been connected to the illegal cigarette trade in Canada.
