Only the NWA Title was on the line, and this match is largely ignored in WWWF history.

Adams joined in the fight, helping DiBiase & Williams, while Parsons stayed in the ring. The referee counted out DiBiase & Williams, and gave the win to Adams & Parsons. Adams refused to accept the win, leading to an argument with Parsons. The team split up, and it was decided a coin toss would decide which wrestler (with a new partner) would move on in the tournament. Adams won, and picked Savannah Jack as his partner. However, before the finals could take place, Parsons attacked Jack, injuring him. Adams had to select another partner, and decided on Terry Taylor.

Lawler who was the "Unified" AWA and World Class champion, was splitting time between the AWA, CWA (Memphis) and World Class areas. This led to problems with the AWA, who wanted more control of the situation, so they stripped the title, claiming Lawler had missed title defenses. In truth, Lawler's home promotion (CWA) had split with the AWA. Zbyszko, son-in-law of AWA boss Verne Gagne, had just returned from WCW, and won the title.
1992 - Money Inc. (Ted DiBiase & IRS) defeated the Legion of Doom in Denver, Colorado for the WWF World Tag Team Title. Interesting to note, the original advertised lineup for the show had the Natural Disasters facing the Legion Of Doom.
