1976 - WWWF ran at Madison Square Garden in New York City with Ivan Koloff vs. Ivan Putski ending in a 20-minute draw and in the main event WWWF World Champion Bruno Sammartino defeated Superstar Billy Graham when the referee stopped the match due to Graham's excessive bleeding.
1986 - The Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Bobby Eaton) defeat The Rock N' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) for the NWA World Tag Team Title in Atlanta, Georgia. This was the first NWA World Tag title run for the Midnight Express, managed by Jim Cornette, and ended the Rock N' Roll Express' second reign.
1998 - During an edition of Raw from Indianapolis, Indiana, a match between Cactus Jack and Terry Funk ended in a no-contest when the New Age Outlaws attacked both men after Cactus had dropped a flying elbow onto Funk, who was in a dumpster. The Outlaws locked the dumpster shut and shoved it off the stage and to the floor. This would set up the "Dumpster Match" at Wrestlemania.
1999 - Rod Steele defeats Rip Rogers for the Ohio Valley Heavyweight Title in Louisville, Kentucky. On the same show, The Damaja (Danny Basham) & David C. defeated Nick Dinsmore (Eugene) & Rob Conway for the Ohio Valley Southern Heavyweight Tag Title.
2002 - RC (Charlie) Haas surrendered the HWA Heavyweight Title to EZ Money because of a contract technicality in their previous title match.
2002 - Dixie defeated Homicide and The Insane Dragon for the Jersey All Pro Heavyweight Title and Jersey All Pro Light Heavyweight Title in a three way match with both on the line in Bayonne, New Jersey. Homicide had already knocked out Insane Dragon, then gave Dixie the "Cop Killer" (Vertebreaker), and an unconscious Dixie fell on top of Dragon for the pin and the belts.
