Shipping NOW! "The Real Maxx Payne's The Thing That Should Not Be" Available For Immediate Delivery On DVD, VOD, CD or VHS! See The Footage The Internet Has Speculated About for Over A Quarter-Century!
After a wildly successful pre-order period, Pro Wrestling Library, LLC is pleased to announce a piece of wrestling footage history is finally available now for immediate order processing & shipment!
Over 25 years ago, Maxx "Darryl Peterson" Payne (formerly known as Man Mountain Rock) began sharing with the world teasers and trailers of something truly unprecedented - a behind-the-scenes look at what it's like living as a pro wrestler without any producers, writers, or editors telling him what to film in an era that was still very protected and insulated. Fans in chat rooms, on message boards, and in tape trading communities were curious, excited, and intrigued to see this one-of-a-kind piece of video from 1995, pre-dating any behind-the-scenes documentary of its kind. Thousands of fans speculated about it. How much is there? How controversial is it? What is everyone like when their guard is down? Unfortunately, the day to learn the answers to those questions never came and the project stayed dormant and uncompleted for years, without explanation or timetable.
Until now.
Joe Dombrowski's Pro Wrestling Library has become accustomed to preserving, releasing, and telling stories of lost footage or hidden gems - from uncovering internal tapes of Les Thatcher's Heartland developmental territory never meant for public release, to the first official mass release of the Brian Pillman Memorial Shows, to hard-to-find territory-era footage from Memphis, Kansas City, the IWA, and others, if it's been forgotten, overlooked, or simply couldn't be found, Pro Wrestling Library is on the hunt for it! It's with that in mind, that we proudly present to you what's considered by many to be the "holy grail" of lost/unreleased wrestling footage. Enjoy, at long last, "The Real Maxx Payne's The Thing That Should Not Be"!

Description:
LOST FOOTAGE FOUND AFTER OVER 30 YEARS! FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND DOCUMENTARY THOUGHT NEVER TO BE RELEASED IS FINALLY HERE
In October 1995, Maxx Payne was working for the largest wrestling company in the world. As he left for a grueling two-week tour throughout Europe, he did something unprecedented… he brought along his video camera. What followed was a real, raw, and rare look at life on the road during one of the most challenging times in the history of the wrestling business.
Over the years, trailers & teasers have been posted, but eventually many believed the full footage to be lost, destroyed, or simply kept under lock and key forever… until now.
Get an all-access pass to accompany the wrestlers to places once forbidden – tour buses, hotels, airports, backstage at the events, even walking to the ring. It’s a cross between an expose and the wrestling world’s first travel vlog, equal parts a nostalgic look at an era that no longer exists and a cautionary tale of the culture of the time.
See the pros and cons of pro wrestling, quite literally through the eyes and complex mind of Darryl “Maxx Payne” Peterson as he navigates attitudes, politics, long nights on the road, temptation of the dark side, and the rush of performing.
In a time when the industry was still insulated and protected, one man dared to document it all. But was he filming his dream job come-to-life or his own self-destruction?
“The Real Maxx Payne’s Thing That Should Not Be” features an all-star roster in candid, unscripted and never-before-seen footage including Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Owen Hart, Ted DiBiase, Bam Bam Bigelow, Sid, Shane Douglas, Bob Holly, Fatu, Rodney Anoa’i, Louie Spicolli, Henry Godwinn, Tony Garea, and many more!
BONUS FEATURES:
*In-Depth Interview with The Real Maxx Payne: Veteran broadcaster Joe Dombrowski travels to Utah to explore the layers of Maxx’s mind and break down the film, what his 1995 run was really like, and his true feelings on his co-workers.
*Watch-Alongs: Several wrestlers in the movie sit down over thirty years later to watch it for the first time EVER & give their real reactions!
Plus deleted scenes, road stories & more!
