Who was your favorite "monster" tag team?
I'd have to say that if you count them as monsters, The Road Warriors were the best at just decimating the competition. If we are talking monstrous characters, I always liked Big John Studd & King Kong Bundy as a kid, as well as the short time Sika and Kamala
I am a long time ROH Honor Club subscriber. I enjoy watching the old shows and am slowly making my way through their history. You recently posted that ROH posted Final Battle 2002 on YouTube. That card isn’t on Honor Club. Why are they posting old shows to YouTube but not Honor Club? This is frustrating as my go to spot for Ring of Honor is, and in my opinion as a paying customer, should be Honor Club.
My belief is they posted the old show there to celebrate Final Battle, since that was the first version of that show.
I just bought my daughter a Penta Funko Pop for Christmas. He clearly made a great career choice by going to WWE. What did AEW miss with him? Or what did WWE do differently? Or did Penta really step it up? Anyway, good for him.
They didn't miss anything with him. He was used well by AEW. They just format and promote their shows differently. Also, he was a tag team wrestler in AEW, so it wasn't like he was getting a big singles push like he is currently in WWE.
I was wondering why so many indy promotions when they promote their shows, have the logos of other companies?
It probably depends on the situation. I know that if an NWA contracted talent works an independent show, the promotion requires their logo be used to promote that the talent is a NWA talent. It could be that a promotion also wants the rub of having a connection to a larger company, such as AEW.
Do you think WWE ever puts Kevin Dunn in the WWE Hall of Fame?
They haven't put any behind the scenes execs in as of yet, so I don't see this happening anytime soon.
Seeing Bruno Samartino get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in Madison Square Garden gave me goosebumps when I was there a few years ago. Such an awesome moment for me and my father, who watched him wrestle Pedro Morales at Shea Stadium in 1972. Is there any chance of WWE doing a Bruno movie for a revived WWE Studios?
I don't know that WWE is seeking to do any film projects at this juncture, but never say never, I suppose!
