THE NXT HALLOWEEN HAVOC TIP SHEET

By Mike Johnson and Richard Trionfo on 2026-10-30 12:03:00

WWE NXT will present Halloween Havoc this Saturday on the CW (US) and Netflix (International) from Orlando, Florida with a 7:00 PM Eastern start time for the show.  Here is what we think will happen on Saturday.

Women's World Championship Match:  Kelani Jordan vs. Wren Sinclair

Mike: There is no shot there will be a title change here in my mind.  Jordan is a franchise player who keeps getting better.  I enjoy Wren's work but I don't see this being her moment as much as it's the precursor to Kendal Grey returning to confront Jordan.

Richard:   Wren used chicanery to earn this title match, but she did what she had to do to get a shot at the title.  Wren's quest for the title has a secondary story and that is Kendal Grey and her therapy sessions and efforts to return to the ring.  I hope the teasing of tension between Kendal and Wren doesn't take away from the match.  Jordan hasn't really had a chance to make a statement as champion so I expect her to retain on Saturday night.

Men's World Championship Match:  Grayson Waller vs. Tony D'Angelo

Mike:  I don't see D'Angelo ascending by winning the title at this point.  He's been there.  Waller is obviously positioned as the cornerstone guy with lots of potential challengers.  I suspect Waller retains.

Richard:  They have built the hate between these two men.  I don't know if they had to send Waller to HOME or RESTAURANT.  Waller has done a good job as the champion, but does he feel like the guy who is driving the brand?  Do we need Tony on top again?  I think this will be a strong match, but Waller retains as we figure out who is the next challenger.

Women's North American Championship Match:  Zaria vs. Izzi Dame

Mike: Remember when Zaria showed up in vignettes walking through the destruction of the world?  We are a long way from here and they've humanized her too much for her character, in my mind.

Richard:   Izzi is trying to get into Zaria's head by bringing up her past and it might be working.  Will Izzi send Zaria over the edge in this match?  Since it is a non-title match, they can build it as Izzi forcing Zaria to do something that will get her disqualified to set up a future title match.  With everyone getting a title match because they are breathing, it is strange to see someone give up their shot at a title.  Izzi gets the win and she gets a future title match.

Zilla Fatu vs. Charlie Dempsey (Stipulation to be Determined by Wheel)

Mike: Dempsey is great and Fatu has grown far more comfortable as a personality since coming here.  Obviously, the stip will change the parameters of what this can be bell to bell but my gut is Fatu gets a measure of revenge before Birthright takes him down for another beating.

Richard:  I don't know what the stipulation will be, but since Zilla was attacked with a shovel, if there is a buried alive or graveyard stipulation, I can see it happening.  The other members of Birth Right, and it will fail.  Zilla gets the win.

Weapons Wild Match:  Myles Borne vs. Tavion Heights

Mike: Heights absolutely should win here.  Borne turned on him and this is the type of match where Heights should get a measure of revenge.  If they want this to be a longer program, I can see Borne cheating to win but Heights could use the spotlight.

Richard:  This is a match that doesn't need a weapons stipulation, but it will give us a different look at this feud.  They will be able to do more than they would in a standard match.  It feels like these two are not on the radar for either singles title so what is next for both men?   Myles is a future world champion, but I see Tavion getting the win because he needs it more.

Shiloh Hill vs. Naraku

Mike:  I get an email every week from someone who complains they ruined Naraku.  I hope Naraku wins for that person.

Richard:  This match feels like it should be on the weekly show, not a Network special.  I guess it has the Halloween link because of the mad scientist trying to use chemistry to counteract Naraku's mist.  I have liked what Naraku has done in the ring since he debuted, but it doesn't feel like there is a lot of upward movement even if he wins this match.   They see more in Hill so he wins the match by wearing special contact lenses that negate the power of the mist.
