Has there been any talk in AEW about doing a show honoring JR like they did with Rebel? Given all his recent health problems, it would be great if they could celebrate JR's life and career while they still can.
Nothing that I have heard. I would assume they are hoping there will be a recovery and he could attend an event before they would think about anything of that sort. Jim should absolutely be celebrated for his run.
So, the 946 has its four-man crew with Jaida. Who's the fifth for WarGames? Or do we do four? And who sits for the Bloodline if it's four? Roman? And who's the counter for Jaida for the Bloodline? My initial thought is the timing is good for Naomi, and working Jaida would be good learning experience for Jaida plus good story to work Naomi back in. But if she's not ready, who's next? I suppose Tamina's still under contract, but I don't think they'd go that direction after all this time. But who else?
Obviously, the fifth is Carmelo. Naomi would be perfect to offset Jaida.
Whatever happened to Penelope Ford?
She is out with an injury. She was at AEW TV last night but I have not confirmed in what capacity.
Am I the only one who finds it hard to believe that David Ellison is (and I'm quoting Tony Khan on this) "somebody who loves professional wrestling"?
Everyone loves pro wrestling!
so they used images of Lex Luger for The Wrestler, Q... was he compensated for the use of his likeness ???
Likely not. He didn't own the images. George Napolitano did.
Why does AEW tend to be secretive about talents' injuries? Jay White, Jamie Hayter and Maya World are all injured right now but we don't know the extent of their injuries and there's been many examples in the past where they've kept these details under wraps.
They are respecting HIPPA laws.
