Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling announced:
NEW DATE, LINEUP ANNOUNCED FOR MLP NORTHERN RISING THREE-PART TELEVISION SPECIAL
MAPLE LEAF PRO Wrestling’s Sold-Out PPV Event From Maple Leaf Gardens Begins Airing Wednesday, October 21 on TSN, MyAEW, Fight Nation
TORONTO (October 13, 2026) – MAPLE LEAF PRO Wrestling (MLP) announced today that its MLP NORTHERN RISING three-part television special will air starting Wednesday, October 21 for three consecutive weeks on TSN in Canada, MyAEW.com internationally, and Fight Nation for French-speaking audiences in Europe.
Part One: Wednesday, October 21 – Josh Alexander vs. Stu Grayson (MLP Undisputed Canadian Championship)
Josh Alexander captured the inaugural MLP Canadian Championship at last year’s Northern Rising event. After The Walking Weapon suffered a serious knee injury in April, Stu Grayson won a tournament to become the interim champion. The two unified the title in one of the most physical matches ever witnessed in an MLP ring.
Part Two: Wednesday, October 28 – Priscilla Kelly vs. Nikki Storm (MLP Women’s Canadian Championship); Andrade El Idolo vs. Rohan Raja
Priscilla Kelly shocked the world several weeks ago, winning the women’s championship on MLP Mayhem. She defended her title at Northern Rising against the dangerous Nikki Storm; Rohan Raja journeyed to Mexico to face the best luchadores. One of that country’s greatest exports, AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo, answered the challenge in Toronto.
Part Three: Wednesday, November 4 – Adam Copeland vs. Steve Maclin (Street Fight)
Legendary Canadian and AEW superstar Adam Copeland, who watched his first wrestling show at Maple Leaf Gardens, made his long-awaited debut at the iconic arena against Steve Maclin in a Street Fight.
Note: Individual platform premiere times and availability will be announced through the respective broadcast partners.
Originally presented live on pay-per-view on Saturday, October 3, MLP NORTHERN RISING sold out Toronto’s Mattamy Athletic Centre, the venue formerly known as Maple Leaf Gardens.
