Did it seem irresponsible to you that Tiffany Stratton wasn't at least pulled from match and given a concussion test after they ladder spot?
Yes, I thought it was extremely irresponsible to not get more medical attention after the fall that she took and the way that her head crashed into and bounced off of the ground. She is an extremely tough woman and obviously she told the refs she was OK to continue wrestling. With an arm or a leg injury? Fine. With a head injury, no way that they should have allowed her to continue on in that moment without being seen by a doctor and given a concussion test. The NFL, for example, starting forcing players to do just that because far too often the player would say that they were fine when they were actually concussed. The footage of the way her head hit was scary on the broadcast. It was even scarier when I saw footage from the side. She absorbed massive impact and she should have been looked at, even if it meant killing the Je’Von Evans spot later in the show because they didn’t want to have medical come out twice in the show. Management is supposed to be there to protect the talents from themselves. They failed badly on Saturday with Stratton.
Was it because she was scheduled to win or did she convince them she was alright on the floor?
I don’t know for sure but my guess is that if it was one of the other women, who weren’t going to win, they probably would have been more careful. As I said above, I would have had the match go on and brought out a doctor before I would have let her get back in the ring.
On a scale of Hogan joining Hall/Nash to the Finger Poke of Doom, where would you put the current Bloodline story? What was once the defining storyline of this generation now feels like a week-to-week mess in an attempt to get back to 2023/2024 critical success.
I would probably put it in the middle of those two, trending toward the Finger Poke. They have lost a lot of steam but it’s largely because of how inconsistent the characters have been. It could be fixed. Will it be? I can’t say.
Hello. Long time elite subscriber here. Thank you for the outstanding work you and team do every day. I periodically look at the Q and A section and on occasion I see questions about the what ifs on Endeavor selling WWE. Where do you think these questions stem from? I have never heard of endeavor looking to see WWE. Especially so early in their ownership. Top of that, they have had majority/full ownership of UFC since 2016. So for them to even think about selling WWE so for them looking to sell just a couple years in owning it see ridiculous. Your thoughts and thank you.
Everything is potentially for sale and some in WWE have thought that Ari Emanuel bought it to sell it. For the right price, he probably would do just that. Is it imminent? Not that I know of. Where does it come from? People love to speculate and once someone does it, it often picks up steam and takes on a life of its own.
You are a midcard wrestler and WWE tells you that you have to go Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel. You professionally refuse on the grounds that the region is not safe. They fire you. Are you calling a lawyer?
Absolutely, 100 percent. If they make the decision to hold the event next month NO ONE on the roster should be force to go given the situation in Riyadh right now. No one.
