1. Gunther mauls Danhausen. That was an ass kicking, and a well done ass kicking. No 50/50 booking bullshit, just a complete beat down. Do you think this ends their involvement with each other, or does Danhausen need to get his revenge, somehow?
God, I hope so. I hope that Danhausen is done with the physical end of this and it moves on to Balor-Gunther. They have used Danhausen to start their program so now it’s time to take him out of the picture.
I know the normal booking in 99% of cases is that babyface needs to get their licks in, but sometimes the heel just needs to obliterate the other guy and move on.
In this case I agree, for sure.
Fatal Influence just can’t really get on a roll, can they? That title change, to me, was completely unnecessary. You?
As soon as Alexa took Charlotte’s place, I sniffed a change. I don’t love it since Fatal Influence is still finding their footing but I can also see why they wanted to get behind Tatum Paxley. She’s different and has a special something to her. I won’t kill them on this one. I hope that they don’t forget about
Are we really getting more Jade Cargill vs. Charlotte Flair? I figured they had wrung everything out of that feud that they could. Is Jade kind of in a holding pattern? She’s been cooled off considerably and I don’t see her being inserted back into the title picture anytime soon.
I don’t see how we don’t get more. Charlotte has to get revenge. I don’t have a problem with it. If Jade isn’t in the Title picture, which she isn’t right now, taking on one of the greatest of all time isn’t exactly a consolation prize to me.
I found it a little odd seeing Bron & Trick together in the ring as it reminded me of how close Bron was to being “the next big thing“. Those days seem quite distant and I’d argue Trick’s upward trajectory seems more steady at this point. Thoughts?
The announcers made that same point about Bron. The booking with him of late has not been good. At all. Then again, they also had Trick lose his Title to Baron Corbin before winning it back. I see a pattern with HHH’s booking of young talent (like Stephanie Vaquer in the feud with Nikki Bella, etc.). I don’t know what it is with him. But, last night was a good start in rehabbing the damage that they did to Bron. I hope it continues.
