AEW WrestleDream will be headlined by the first-ever Clockwork Carnage match with AEW Champion Will Ospreay defending the title against seven challengers.
The official announced rules by the promotion:
*Two wrestlers start the match "selected at random."
*Every three minutes, another randomly selected wrestler enters.
*Until all eight wrestlers have entered, any wrestler who is pinned or submits is eliminated from the match.
*Once the final wrestler enters, all remaining wrestlers enter a 15-minute scoring period.
During those 15 minutes, every pinfall or submission scores one fall.
*When time expires, the wrestler with the most falls wins.
