Former WWE star Joseph Hennig aka Curtis Axel, 46, came to an plea agreement stemming from his 5/17 arrest in Anoka County, Minnesota on DUI and other additional charges.
As part of the plea, which was finalized on 824, Hennig plead guilty to DWI - Operating a Motor Vehicle Under Influence of Alcohol.
A charge of Disorderly Conduct - Offensive/Abusive/Boisterous/Noisy/Obscene will be held until Hennig has completed probation and other agreed upon elements of the plea deal. If he fails to do so, the charges against him against be resurrected.
As part of the agreement, the third-generation star had charges of refusal to submit to chemical test (Breath or test refusal or failure), Obstructing the Legal Process-Lawful Execution Legal Process, having an open bottle of alcohol in his car and failure to stop after an accident to property that did not involve injury all dismissed.
Hennig departed WWE in 2020 and has only wrestled once since, an independent event in 2025.
