The public reason for TKO asking multiple WWE talents taking a pay cut was due to the elimination of house shows, which means most talents only appearing on their weekly TV and likely wrestling only once or twice per month. Since TKO has decided to bring a few domestic House Show tours back per month, have you heard anything about them going back to these talents with improved deals or excluding them from the house show tours? Or like most businesses in the modern market, are they expecting their "independent contractors" to do more work for less money?
I don’t see any world where TKO goes back to the talents with improved deals. Their modus operandi is usually the opposite of that.
The WWE is selling merchandise with paid for advertising??? As I was watching Raw, I noticed Dominic Mysterio shirt had his name & design & the dude wipes logo. Who would buy a shirt with the dude wipes logo? I'm confused @!#$%&!
A Dude Wipes fan? Beats me because I am not one. With that said, the shirts worn on TV are part of the show. You can buy a Dom shirt that doesn’t also have an ad proclaiming love for a product that cleans the old hole.
Do you think they are going to prolong Randy winning 15 till WM43 since he is so loved there, or will he win it before? And if he does win it prior, who do you think he would Main Event and defend against at Night 1? Cody or Punk?
Man, that is way too far in the future for me to guess at. I think he will get number 15 at some point, and he should. When that will be, I have no idea but if I was booking I would let it simmer for a while.
What the point of the stupid spot that injured Steve Borden besides trying to recreate the Ricochet-Logan Paul spot from a few years ago?
I am guess that they thought their audience would pop for it. That’s generally why wrestlers do the crazy stuff.
With the situation in the Middle East being very fluid and the possibility of some scheduled PLEs like Wrestlemania taking place there having to be moved, does WWE/TKO have a window that they would use to activate plan B, C or D ? Say, 60-90-120 days prior?
Whenever I have asked I have been told that they are closely monitoring the situation there and they have back up plans in place. Now, are they GOOD plans? Probably not because it’s hard to fill a football stadium for two nights on short notice. But, that’s the world that we live in now.
