Spotlight Match: Colton Charles vs Brother Greatness
Greatness beat Charles a few weeks ago and Colton is very upset about that. BG throws what he can at this fight but Charles dispatches the holy man with a spear for the three.
Match 1: J Bouji vs Jodi Aura
It’s going down! They have both cost each other spots in the Discovery Gauntlet and now it’s time for revengeance. Naturally, this turns into a high speed brawl on sight. They both go for it. Hard to tell who might take this. Aura nails his rolling cutter but Bouji kicks out. Bouji finally get caught in a bridging pin. Aura barely holds on but Ref Bill says he got the three! “I told you!” Yells Aura at Bouji. They are ALSO at 1-1 now.
Match 2: Sammi Chaos vs Nessa Ferrari
Nessa is scrappy but Sammi smash good. Nessa keeps trying to come back but she’s on wobbly legs every time. She almost gets the win on a meteora. Sammi is done with her and swings her out of a fireman’s carry and slams Nessa down for the three.
It’s time for the discovery gauntlet! You gotta win it to stay in it!
Match 3: Peter Gianni Vs Corey Jackson (Discovery Gauntlet)
Gianni is a chef….also an a**hole. He’s definitely got that kind of “yes chef” attitude without leaving into that as a gimmick. Jackson is just a bruiser, tossing Gianni around and dropped big bombs into his head. Gianni back on top but can’t get the three, causing him to yell “I want an AI ref!” Peter finally puts Jackson’s lights out with a flying knee for the win.
Match 4: The Breadwinners (Patrick Wheatman & Cash McGuiness w/ 23 Hazard) vs The Vibe (Mani Ariez & Sammy Diaz w/ Brother Greatness)
Hazard is mad that Greatness got involved in his title match last week. Of course. hazard was in the middle of a three on one beatdown of champion Bear Bronson…but we ain’t talkin bout dat. Vibe staying on top through the open but you know Hazard is a distraction. Sammy takes a good beating from the Breadstick boys before Greatness rallies Sammy to the tag and gets Mani in there. Hazard tries to distract again but Greatness pulls him off the apron. Sammy and Mani hit the Vibes check on Wheatman for the win! Hazard is furious and rams BG face first into the steel post.
Match 5: Devin Reno vs Ichiban
Reno won last week against Ichiban in Cranston but failed to turn that into an Open title victory this past Monday. He’s probably feeling a little testy after how that went down. Reno starts angry but he starts getting overwhelmed early as Ichiban just throws himself at Devin. 111 points n the corner post! Double knees on the apron! Ichi flies back in but eats a jackhammer! This goes back and forth in an all out war. Devin tries that sitout bomb of his…Ichiban headscissors them both over the top to the floor. They almost get counted out by milliseconds. Both guys exhausted. Ichiban counterpunching. Devin misses a lariat and eats a poisonrana! Ichi Bankai? Reno catches him and hits his delay vertical cutter for the w….Kick out! Devin has been seething with rage this whole match and borderline taking it out on Ref Bill at a few points. Devin hits a powerbomb…kickout! He hits a top rope splash…kickout! Reno blaming ref bill repeatedly. With almost a minute to go, Ichiban catches Reno turning away from Bill and rolls him up for the three.
“No that’s doesn’t count!”. Reno demands that Ichiban face him next week…two out of three falls! Ichiban accepts!
Match 6: Kylon King (w/ Colton Charles) vs Mr Disrespect Aaron Ortiz
Ortiz beat King a couple weeks back but he did NOT survive his clash with Colton last week. Last time, these two had a classic. Tonight they are picking up right where they left off. Charles remains an imposing presence on the outside but he’s letting king handle his business for much of this. Ortiz is trying his damndest to put Kylon down. A superplex and super tornado ddt can’t get the job done. Kylon tosses him hard to the buckles and hits a Kyledriver…Ortiz kicks out! Ortiz blocks the northern lights into a destroyer! Not enough! Charles finally heads up to the apron but gets kicked off…Ortiz hits a blockbuster and that should be it…Charles hits the ring and chokeslams Ortiz, drawing a DQ on King. Kylon lost but he is definitely standing tall now. Charles pulls him up so King can hit another Kyledriver. And the He picks up Ortiz so Colton can run him through with that full tackle spear of his.
Main Event: Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson & Brian Morris)(c) vs Danny Miles & Bobby Casale (for the Wrestling Open Tag Team Championships)
With Stetson and Morris being picked as Cranston Ambassadors, this could be Worcester’s last ride with the Stetson Ranch. We want it. Can Bobby and Danny bring it home? The Ranch has a BAD START and try to run for the back. Not tonight, says Miles and Casale. Of course, the ranch uses that to take over and beat on Bobby…for a while. And then Danny gets the tag and the dream crusher starts crushing Ranchhands. He even starts diving out at Stetson and Morris, capping the trio with a big moonsault to the floor! Powerbomb to Morris can’t end it. Both teams start trying to put a stop to this…Bobby and Danny also get a double tap on the ranch. Danny gets sent into the post to the floor, leaving Casale for a high low…kick out! Ranch hits Chasing the dragon for two! They try to isolate Danny but Casale runs to the rescue. Huge brawl between the teams! Morris dropped with a head kick! Stetson eats one! Casale hits a Bobbinator on Stetson so hard that Morris flies off the apron. Miles with a frog splash to Stetson for the three!!!! We have new tag champs! The Stetson Ranch is banished to Mondays!
Worcester gives the Stetson Ranch one more profanity filled sendoff before they go to family friendly Mondays.
