Whatever happened to the Janel Grant lawsuit vs. WWE, etc.?
All parties agreed to go to private mediation. If/when it has been settled, the most likely outcome will be that it'll be handled privately and we'll never hear what the resolution was. If they can't come to a resolution, it could be revived before the court, which would put it back into the public eye.
Back when Ric Flair disappeared from WCW, there was talk the company was suing him or something and then he an The Four Horsemen returned. What was the deal?
WCW and Flair had a falling out over Flair choosing to attend his son Reid's amateur wrestling meet instead of a TV show booking. Flair had claimed he had asked for the date off. Flair sued them for breach of contract in North Carolina, where he resided at the time. They battled back and forth in court but eventually came to an agreement and the case was dismissed. The issues and the lawsuit were very much real at the time.
Really, where is Brock Lesnar?
He's said he's retired. My guess is he's off hunting and farming and scaring Bigfoot out of the forests of Saskatchewan.
You reported a new book from Edge was coming out in October but here we are a month out and nothing. What happened?
Nothing did. Shortly after we reported that, we reported that the publisher had updated that The Edge-ucation of Adam Copeland would be released in October 2027. So, we have some time to go.
What other wrestling writers do you hang out with?
Honestly, none. I don't even remember the last time Dave Scherer and I were in the same place at the same time! I see some people from time to time at events, but it's not like we are going out of our way to make plans to socialize with each other.
If you could name a lifetime achievement award after someone in pro wrestling who would it be?
If it was a wrestler we were naming it after, it has to be Terry Funk. If we are naming it after someone who wasn't a wrestler who handled themselves with class, Tod Gordon or the late Joe Koff.
