What the hell happened at the end of Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens on Smackdown?
Someone screwed up. There was some sort of miscommunication obviously and it just played out on live TV in a way that was ridiculously obvious. I'm going to chalk it up to the two just having an off night given they've worked together so much over the years. The good news is there's always another episode.
With the current unstable situation in Saudi Arabia, does the WWE have a contingency plan in place for November’s Crown Jewel? Thanks and keep up the great work!
Of course they do. Remember, they can walk right into the WWE Performance Center and run a show. They could easily book a smaller venue and fill it with a few weeks' notice. As it was explained to me, they aren't going anywhere if they don't have the blessing of the United States government and they don't have a thumbs up from the security team they employ who we are told are experts in that region.
If WWE can't go to Saudi due to the ongoing conflict, do they still get paid?
I don't believe they would get their regular payment from the Kingdom. My gut is they'd simply push the date back for another time to make the payment down the line. It's possible they have a penalty worked into the agreement if there is an issue beyond their control that prevents the show from being produced, but I've never heard of it existing.
If the ongoing war in the Middle East leads to shows there being canceled, could WWE sue Donald Trump for loss of revenue, especially because they could lose worth of the company if stockholders sell because of loss of revenue?
That's a lot of things that could happen, but I don't believe WWE could sue a sitting President over this. They certainly are not going to make a public enemy of someone who's publicly willing to rip apart and bully those he sees as challenging them.
Are you going to Saudi Arabia for WrestleMania?
No plans to do so.
Does WWE need to go back to the refs making the count all the way, no matter if the wrestlers kick out or not? There seems to be more and more kick out botches/obvious 3 counts and the refs look dumb and are losing credibility.
I am totally OK with that. If a referee is supposed to call the match as if it's legitimate and someone is legitimately pinned, well, then so be it. It makes them look silly otherwise. I know not everything can be executed as designed, but if they try to finagle the reality of the moment, time stands still and at least a big percentage of the audience is taken out of the moment.

Do you think after that KO, that's the end for Gable Steveson?
My guess is UFC gives him one more chance and if he loses in such a one-sided way again, it's not going to be a long tenure beyond that. That said, if he's cut, my feeling is lots of promoters at a lower level would give him a chance to fight somewhere. He's a long way from being the first ever WWE NIL talent.
