We take a look back at Roman Reigns and Penta from last week and what happened after the match with LA Knight and Roman.
LA Knight enters and he sees Penta walking. They stop and walk past each other.
Penta makes his way to the ring.
Penta says last week, in Mexico City, it was one of the biggest nights of his life. In front of his family and friends and all of the Mexican people. Roman Reigns, you were the better man that night. Penta says he respects him, but it is not over. He says he wants another opportunity. He says he wants another fight. He wants the World Championship. He never surrenders and he fights for all of his people. Some day, we are going to fight and he will become champion. This is only the beginning.
He is interrupted by Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh.
Dom says nobody cares about your dreams. People want to hear from someone who stood tall in Mexico City, like the Judgment Day. They left El Grande Americano, Stephanie Vaquer, and Rey Mysterio laying.
JD tells Penta he had his shot last week so why is he talking about the title. Get to the back of the line. Dom will win Money in the Bank and he will have the title before you get another shot.
Dom tells Penta to put some respect on his name because Penta is a luchador but Dom says he is the King of the luchador.
Penta says some nasty words about Dom and he says the only thing about him that is a luchador is his father.
Dom and JD attack Penta. JD sends Penta to the floor. And then Dom adjusts the announce table. JD goes for a power bomb through the table, but Penta with a back body drop and he sends JD into the ring and Penta with a cross body onto Dom and JD.
Jimmy and Jey says have to get someone while Fatu says they need to lay low. He says he is dealing with 946. The wrong move will be for them to make the first move on 946.
Solo enters with a white flag/handkerchief.
He tells them that they need to work as a team.
Jimmy asks if Solo wants to be part of the family again. Jey tells Solo he has to acknowledge him and Jimmy as the chiefs and Roman as the tribal chief.
Solo refuses and leaves.
Fatu tells Jimmy and Jey that they made a mistake.
Match Number One: Iyo Sky versus La Catalina versus Roxanne Perez in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Perez and Catalina push each other and Perez slaps Catalina and then she slaps Iyo. Perez goes to the floor and then Iyo and Catalina go after Perez. Catalina with a forearm to Perez and then Iyo and Catalina with a double drop kick. Iyo sends Catalina into the corner and Catalina escapes. Catalina with a modified airplane spin but Iyo counters into a rollup for a near fall. Everyone gets near falls. Perez kicks Catalina and Iyo and gets a double pin. Perez with a head scissors to Catalina and Catalina with an arm drag to Iyo. We get a stand off.
Iyo with a victory roll and double stomp to Perez. Catalina with a drop kick. Perez sends Catalina to the mat and she punches her. Perez goes for a suicide dive but Iyo with a forearm to stop her. Iyo with an Asai Moonsault onto Perez. Catalina goes up top and hits a cross body onto Perez and Iyo. Catalina gets a near fall on Perez and follows with an Irish whip and clothesline. Perez is sent to the apron and she kicks Cataliona. Perz chokes Catalina in the ropes. Perez gets a near fall on Catalina. Perz with an arm bar. Iyo returns to the ring but Perez with a back elbow. Perez sends Catalina into Iyo. Perez sends Iyo into the ropes and Perez with a running corkscrew back elbow against the ropes for a near fall. Perez with a side head lock on Iyo. Perez with an enzuigiri. Perez with a side head lock and a side head lock on Catalina while hitting a DDT on Iyo. Perez gets near falls on both women.
Iyo with a flap jack to Catalina and she gets a near fall. Iyo misses the running double knee strike in the corner. Catalina with a cross body on Perez for a near fall. Catalina with running hip strikes on both women. Catalina with a fisherman’s suplex on Perez for a near fall. Catalina with a waist lock and Iyo with a shotei to Catalina. Perez sends Iyo to the flor and Perez with a running back elbow to Catalina. Perez goes for the double jump moonsault but Catalina gets her knees up. Iyo with a double stomp to Perez and Catalina breaks up the cover. Catalina with forearms to Iyo and she goes for a Gory Special but Iyo escapes and she hits a butterfly back breaker. Perez crotches Iyo on the turnbuckles and Perez gets a near fall on Catalina.
All three women go up op and Perez sends Catalina to the mat and Perez with a rana to Iyo. Catalina with a flying knee to Perez and all three are down. All three get back to their feet and they exchange forearms. Perez with a back heel kick to Catalina and Iyo with a kick to Perez. Catalina sends Iyo to the floor and Perez goes for a rollup. Catalina with a Gory Special on Perez for a near fall. Perez escapes another Gory Special and Iyo with a missile drop kick to both women. Iyo with a running double knee strike to Catalina and Iyo goes up top for a moonsault on Catalina. Perez with Pop Rox on Iyo for the three count.
Winner: Roxanne Perez
LA Knight walks up to Solo and he asks if he is going back into the family. He tells Solo to lay low. They have big opportunities at Money in the Bank. Knight tells Solo not to cash in on him and Solo says he is his boy.
Knight continues to walk into commercial.
LA Knight makes his way to the ring.
Knight wants to talk to ya. He says last week’s Raw in Mexico, Penta and Roman tore the house down. Both men gave their all. Penta came up short but not we move to Money in the Bank. He faces Roman for the championship. It has been three years since they have gone one on one. It has been three years of scratching and crawling. It has been three years of keeping him down and three years of people telling you who the real champion is. Knight says he doesn’t know what the deal is with Roman. Did his parents ignore him as a kid? He always wants to be acknowledged.
Knight acknowledges that Roman and Penta had a hell of a match. He will acknowledge that Roman did it by himself. He also acknowledges Roman’s greatness. He is the greatest champion of this generation if not of all time. With that said, all this time, he heard for years that people want LA Knight and that he deserves a title match. Knight says you believe it is going to happen. Knight says he doesn’t blame you. He lost to Roman the last time they met. He has not won the big one. Knight acknowledges that he wondered if anyone can beat Roman. Knight says that is a hard pill to swallow. He dealt with it until he noticed something different. When the Bloodline was supposed to run to the ring, they weren’t there. They weren’t there at SummerSlam or Wrestlemania. Roman wants to rewrite his legacy as a dominant champion who can do it on his own.
The bottom line is that Roman has never been man enough to beat him one on one. What is different, he commends Roman if he comes out without the Bloodline. Knight says he made his opportunity last week and he will make it at Money in the Bank. Knight says that you are the champion who matters. Knight says he never needed anyone to belp him. He is the most self made in the business. He acknowledges that Roman will acknowledge him as the new champion.
Byron Saxton is with Je’Von Evans. He asks Evans if he knows that he is the youngest to ever compete in Money in the Bank.
Evans says it will history when he wins the match.
The Vision shows up and Logan Paul says Evans is dumber than he looks because he won’t win.
Bron congratulates Evans on qualifying but he says Money in the Bank is his so it is no longer your concern.
Evans says it is ironic that they have their gear on so maybe they can find out who is better right now. Evans says he knows he is outnumbered and . . Evans hits Bron.
Bron tells them it is time to use their brains. He says he knows what is going on.
Match Number Two: Je’Von Evans versus Bron Breakker
Bron with a double leg take down and they go to the floor. Bron with knees to Evans and he slams Evans’ head into the apron. Bron runs Evans into the ringside barrier. Evans with super kicks when Bron tries to get back into the ring. Evans with a plancha. Evans with a punch and he sends Bron into the apron. Evans with punches to Bron in the corner. Bron with a kick and shoulders in the corner. Evans with shoulders to Bron. Bron with a punch that sends Bron to the floor.
Evans sends Bron into the announce table. Theory tries to distract Evans but Evans side steps a spear attempt and Bron goes into the time keeper’s area. Evans with a wacky plancha to Bron. Evans with a punch and they return to the ring and Bron with a WARP clothesline. Bron with a gutwrench suplex. Evans with a punch and Bron wants more. Bron with a back elbow for a near fall when Bron pulls Evans up. Bron with a reverse chin lock and a body scissors. Evans with forearms but Bron with a knee to Evans. Bron sets for a superplex but Evans with punches and he knocks Bron to the mat. Bron jumps up and hits a Frankensteiner. Bron sets for a spear and he runs into a super kick.
Evans with a number of clotheslines but Bron stays on his feet. Bron goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Evans lands on his feet. Evanw ith a punch and he sends Bron into the turnbuckles and hits a spinning heel kick. Evans with a springboard clothesline. Bron goes for a press slam and Evans counters with a DDT. Evans with an Asai DDT for a near fall. Evans goes for a plancha but Maxxine gets on the apron to stop him. Reed tries to interfere and Theory with a punch. Bron with a Black Hole Slam for a near fall. The straps come down and Bron sets for the spear. Evans with an ole move and Bron hits the turnbuckle with his shoulder.
Theory gets on the apron and Evans knocks him off. Evans with a plancha onto Reed. Evans with a plancha onto Bron. Evans with a rebound round kick. Theory hits Evans when he tries for the double jump cutter and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Je’Von Evans (by disqualification)
After the match, they attack Evans. Theory holds up Evans for the WARP spear, but . . .
The lights go out and then green.
Oba Femi comes out and he goes after Theory and Bron. Oba with running uppercuts. Reed with a splash to Oba but he shakes it off. Oba with a kick. Oba stops Logan from bringing a chair into the ring. Oba hits Theory with the chair and then he hits Bron. Reed with a head butt to Oba and he grabs the chair. Oba with a running corkscrew uppercut to Reed and Oba hits Reed with the chair.
Oba sees Evans in the ring and Oba assists Evans on a dive onto The Vision by tossing him to the floor.
We have the latest from 946. Key says they aren’t giving any warning shots. You crossed the line. Nobody is safe.
We see a Joe Hendry appearance from earlier today.
The Judgment Day make their way to the ring.
JD says he has something to get off his chest before Liv speaks. He says all of this crap with Joe Hendry and the Funko Pop. It isn’t funny. It is sad. He sees a bunch of ugly losers with low self esteem laughing at him. JD promises that none of that affects him, but it affects his family. He says his mother is stressing about it back in Ireland.
Raquel says that is okay and he has a normal sized head. As a fellow Texan, she is embarrassed by your behavior. She calls them htaters. She says we can all agree that Liv’s video is way better than Joe’s piece of caca.
Liv says tonight is all about celebrating our blessings. Last week, they proved they still run Raw. They got to embarrass our fake champion, Stephanie Vaquer. We got to embarrass Dom’s deadbeat dad, Rey Mysterio. They got to embarrass the fakest luchador, El Grande Americano. The only thing better would have been her getting her title back. You can’t hide from her forever. The Santiago screw job is one of the greatest tragedy in WWE. She says she is coming after Stephanie and Becky.
She tells Stephanie to come out and give her her rematch to prove she is the greatest champion of all . . .
Becky Lynch interrupts and she is in the crowd. She asks if Liv id disappointed to see her. She tells Jordan Devlin McDonagh that she has known him since he was 12. Your mother is stressed that her son is playing towel boy and is being embarrassed by a Funko Pop. Liv expected to hold that title longer. You found out it is harder to hold the title when you have to defend it. She says she might be the greatest referee of all time. She tells Liv to get to the back of the line because the first match is hers.
Stephanie Vaquer comes out.
She says you can talk all you want, but she is the World Champion. She says she won this title on her own.
Liv says that Stephanie won because of Becky.
Stephanie says Becky was doing her job as referee when she won her title back in her home. She will give Liv a rematch to prove her win in Chile was on her own.
Becky reminds Stephanie that she is in the building.
Stephanie says she has Becky’s respect. She will give Becky a match too. Real champions are not afraid to defend the title. She says she will talk to Adam Pearce.
Lyra Valkyria says she had to take extreme measures to get away from Bayley. She ruined a year of her career. When she was beating up Bayley at Madison Square Garden, she paid the bigger price. She went to the place where you don’t come back, but she got rid of Bayley and could move on. Money in the Bank was for her. How is Bayley still costing her opportunities. Bayley says she fights for all women. Last time, she didn’t go far enough. You will wish that their last match was your last match.
Match Number Three: Bayley versus Lyra Valkyria
